Well located with connecting rooms available.

I had the worst time and teh worst night on a hotel that i can remember. The alarm sound at midnight, i had to evacuate from the 22th floor. Nobody from the staff had the kidness to clarify, explain the situation, and when they finally did, they were very unpolite and very carelles about us as hosts. My girlfriend and i stayed at the lobby over an hour until the alarm went off. Obviously we couldnt sleep at all.

Room not cleaned beds not made. The hotel is not worth the money that was charged. I will never stay at the Marriott again and will not recommend the hotel to anyone.

Excellent location and nice presence. However no valet or bellman came to help with car or luggage. Inside only one front desk person. Finally rooms were average not a JW standard. Some areas were frankly old. I think the hotel has great potential if they raise their customer service standards and inside decor . Also redo bathrooms to bring them up to standard. It would be an excellent hotel .

We celebrated our 49th anniversary and had informed the hotel. We were wished a happy anniversary at check-in and given access to their executive lounge. A VERY nice fruit and cheese tray with a bottle of wine was delivered to our room. One day we came in to a nice towel arrangement with chocolates on our bed. The room was nice and we thorough enjoyed our stay at the JW Marriott Houston - Galleria.

Once getting to our room with early check in, our neighbors apparently thought it was spring break at the sandpiper beacon. I told Kendall the music was absolutely blaring at 3 pm in the day. 5 mins later security advised them to turn the music down . Clean facility . Easy access to the attractions in Houston . Shuttle willl take you 2 miles from the hotel for free.

Clean and comfortable and near the ballroom that had my grandson’s prom. The valet person took advantage of my grandson and took his cash of $40.00 as the parking fee and told him he would let the front desk know he paid for parking but did not. Had to make a trip to the hotel with my grandson and he gave the valet manager the specifics and they credit my valet charge. I am glad they did this and it was a good learning visit for my grandson. He has never stayed at a 4 star hotel and was very happy for the experience.

I liked the friendliness of staff and how clean it was. I disliked the fact that there was only 1 bathrobe in the room an 3 towels for 4 people. This seems like it should not have happened with this class of hotel. Also to me the bed was a little to firm for me but it was not a giant deal

I was in town for the Houston half marathon. Originally, I booked the wrong JW, however I was able to change the reservation to the correct location and it was very accommodating. It was very convenient. Hotel was clean and friendly service.

The elevators were DIRTY-fingerprints and smudges everywhere. Room was outdated and could stand some modernization. Turned on bathroom sink and brown water came out, dirt ring in the tub, and hair on the shower walls. The room was close to the elevators so we could hear it loud and clear. I will say the front desk did attempt to look for a “better” room but no availability. She offered comp breakfast (6am-11am) which would have been nice had we been kept up by the elevator “music” all night. I would not stay here again.

NA The property charged me 250$ more than my booking price and when I checked with them at the reception on the day of check out they confirmed that my rate is 250$ less and that amount is taken as deposit which will be refunded within 2-5 business days. Now its been more than 11 days since I checked out and I still didi not receive my money back. I called the hotel and messaged them through booking but no response. It’s a shame for such big name!

The guest room bathroom door is made of opaque glass. It lets the bathroom light into the dark bedroom at night and is unpleasant for a light sleeper.

When I came back I ended up parking across the street in the galleria’s garage, but I likely wasn’t supposed to but I was only running up to grab my stuff and check out. I do not recommend taking a car to this hotel but you need a car in this city so that’s a problem. If you can afford valet then it wouldn’t be an issue.

Place was great but for the price I paid it didn't feel luxury. Great business hotel but lacked in any other appeal. I booked a room based off of the description that stated bathtub...had HIGH hopes of getting a relaxing bath and was saddened when it didn't even have the combo tub/shower set up.

Internet access isnt free is a $20 per day cost unless you are a member of bonvoy which i am but could never get it to recognise my membership. Spoke to guest service that credited them but then found the charges when i checked out. Totally surprised and disappointed! I would normally stay in a Courtyard Marriott, thinking I would have an "upgrade", to my surprise, service was horrible! The servers in the restaurant were not attentative, the front desk staff was never there - or waiting for them to come out and take care of your request was just not acceptable.

When I checked in they didn’t event looked at me and they didn’t explained to me anything, they just asked for my credit card and that was it, they didn’t even helped me with my luggage and the men that was in the valet when I checked out was rude and didn’t looked presentable, I was very disappointed. I honestly wouldn’t go back to that hotel.

I chose this hotel because it was the first to pop up when I searched for a hotel with free breakfast. When I went to go get breakfast Saturday they told me it was 32$/ adult which is way unaffordable. Sunday I ate the breakfast because we were starving and didn’t pack breakfast since we thought it was included as it usually is in Marriott hotels. The food was VERY bland. We were locked out of our hotel room due to the battery on the door dying. The house keeper had to make multiple calls for help because nobody came so we sat on the floor in the hall to eat after nearly 30 minutes of being locked out.

I didn't like anything. There was many issues with our room being dirty and the worst was the dirty pool. Room would get this drug smell on and off throughout the vents that I'm sure that was what caused my young daughter to get a headache.

Very clean. Only complaint was very thin walls. Be cognizant where they place you. Great breakfast buffet. And shopping nearby shopping

The bedroom had a little mold in the bathroom on the wall by the shower. The outlets are pretty old. The rain sensor is rusted. They need to do a remodel.

Location is wonderful. Rooms and hotel are decorated in good taste. Room rates comparable to other hotels with same amenities.

The hotel is great. Rooms are nice and well equipped. Location is spot on. And the staff…absolute rockstars. Every single one of them was courteous and bubbly. Special mention to Martha Q at breakfast and Cecilia at the bar…both of them made our stay there just a bit more special.

I like it in general. Not something fancy but, functional. What did not worked is: been a Gold Marriot Bonvoy I was surprised of not getting any perks and also I was charged for Internet connection! I think the last time I paid for Internet it was about 15 years ago! I hope it was a mistake and they will take an action of refund me for the $16.18/day that they charged me. The other "surprise" was to pay $46/night for the Valet parking that was too much for the service, number of drivers and time to get your car. Two things that I think they need to re-evaluate. Thanks, Marcus.

Where do I start? I walked in to a check-in line 10 people deep. The bar/ restaurant staff ignored us standing at the bar, busying themselves with receipts, putting away glasses while we stood in front of them! I called 3 x to ask for sheets for our fold out sofa bed, ended up falling asleep before reminding we hadn’t received them at 1am

The staff was very helpful, however service overall was awful. There was no complimentary breakfast for the price of the stay. There was no shuttle services from and to the airport. I will not book again.
