No hot water, check clerk the guy was rude,electrical problems

The Smell of the room still in my nose and I got a headache because of it the both room handwashing sink drain clogged as noon as when we got there so we can’t wash hands or wash our face the bed is very uncomfortable, I don’t suggest any one to stay there

It was not a comfortable stay but it was near to Galleria, no parking fee and people was nice.

Nice employees. A prostitute and hooker hotel. Strip club next door. Weed smoke cloud in the hallway of 3rd floor. Ice machine broken. No A/C turned on in lobby to keep free loaders out. Extra deposit at check in for room damages due to clientele.

Location was fit for purpose. Breakfast was par for the course. Free parking. Hygiene was appalling. The room was not cleaned once during my weeklong stay. The air had a stale smell of smokiness. Cancelled my second stay due to this.

Not the greatest. Upon arrival, our room did not have cups for the coffee maker nor cups in the bathroom. OK - oversight, no biggie. Good to have a refrigerator in the room, but it was very noisy, as was the air conditioning. Hall light made lots of noise too until another guest asked the staff to just take out the bulb. Breakfast was your regular crappy hotel fare, Glad I brought my own and we went out for breakfast a few days. Put out sign to have our room refreshed, and it was ignored. Next day they did it. Key stopped working and we had to go down to desk only to find that they had made mistake and thought we had checked out. Just too many glitches.

Horrible smell in room and hallways. My sinuses were badly affected. Carpet needs replacing, as well as the old, sheer towels.

One complaint I didn’t like the way I had to get ice for my room in the Ziploc bag 😞

I had to change the room since the first they gave me had a terrible humidity odor. stayed 10 nights and they only cleaned the room once. I asked for them to clean the room 2 more times but they told me they would clean it every 4 days. They wrote down the cleaning lady should clean the room but she only changed the towels, never changed the sheets. What’s the purpose to stay in a hotel if you don’t get cleanliness and you have to do your bed daily? This is the 3rd time we stayed in this hotel and the last. I would definitely will not come back and if you read this review try to look for another hotel. For the price per night you pay it’s not worthy!! The quality is very poor. FIND ANOTHER HOTEL, THIS ONE’S TERRIBLE!

Pool and location An electronic clock with an alarm that cannot be turned off. Early in the morning, on the last day of our stay, the fire alarm went off and scared my children. No one reported what happened and did not bring any apologies for the inconvenience. During check-in, a woman at the reception desk asked me for a credit card from which $100 was debited. No receipt and explanations were provided

I was paying a little more so I thought it would be better. Full breakfast did have turkey sausage floating in water? and scrambled eggs. Carpet was coming up in my room and the shower handled was next to impossible to turn on and off. The air conditioner did work well. Just expected more because I was paying more. Disappointed.

he room I selected included a jacuzzi, but that is not the room I received upon check-in. When I spoke with the front desk, I was told that this was not the room they had on record from Hotels.com and that nothing could be done on their end. I was advised to contact Hotels.com directly. This was disappointing, as the room type was the main reason for my booking. I recommend confirming directly with the hotel before arrival to avoid this issue

Dirty felt gross when left hotel washed all mine and my sons clothes when we got home and cleaned luggage to sanitize it! Only stayed there for total 4 hrs.

And my vehicle got broken into, and my stuff was stolen. I was told that there was video of the break in, but I never got to see it.

I was on a road trip and used the carwash nextdoor. This was a great reset stop. I was only there 10 hours, maybe. But it did a good job!

The room and property it self was overall clean but I had to request fresh sheets because they were stained, no mirrors in the room and no ice in the ice machine. Also the breakfast was terrible! I only gave this place a review because the staff was at least nice.

They need a different variety more towards vegetarians as well I did not appreciate the fact that I had to sleep with bedbugs. I was in room 308. I didn’t say nothing at first, but I came down to check out and found out that another young lady had the same instance. It was bitten twice on both of her arms that should not be. You’re in Texas. Those bed mattresses and sheet need to be burned and thrown away if I had a good mind, I will call the proper channels to make sure the health department gets a hold of this information.

The location worked well for us, we attended an event at the NRG center. We also like the variety of restaurant options in the area. Front staff was friendly and helpful. The water pressure was terrible! It was so low, I to use my water bottle to get the shampoo out of my hair!

The staff is horrible . The bed is hard . I stayed for one night . The lady who checked me in was very friendly but the lady who checked us out is horrible . She accused me of smoking . I didn’t get my deposit back . She said the whole hall smelled of smoke . I don’t even smoke .

The ice machines were not functioning, and one had to go down to the front desk for ice. The business center did not have any equipment, it was an empty room.

The location. They tried charging me $30 for two towels when my husband cut his self shaving but didn't realize it until he wiped his face. He only used one towel to wipe his face not 2 I don't mind paying $5 for a rough towel but I'm not paying $30 I do understand that a hotel can't eat the cost for every guest that does that, I spent 30 yrs as a district manager in hospitality. The general manager left me a very condescending voicemail I'm guessing because I called corporate. At least I called the hotel first.

It was a good location The elevator was not working When we arrived. We had to take sour bags using the stairs. They loose the water for almost 2 days and we’re not able to shower. When the water came back, it was cold. No hot water for the next 2-3 days. They only clean the rooms every 2-3 days (this was not in the description) They give you towels if you ask for them, but one of the days they told us that they didn’t have anymore I found 3 cockroaches inside the room. Some medium and others small. So there is infestation. The place needs maintenance and more staff. Was over all a bad experience.

it was disgusting there was blood feces. The room was not clean. They did not offer breakfast. They had no ice machines. Everything they had on their website they said because they’re privately owned. The website website is not accurate, which is a lie

The room has a strong smell, it even smells like mold, and there is no fresh air. I can’t breathe properly because the air feels very heavy. When one of the housekeeping ladies came to my room, she didn’t knock gently. She knocked so hard that it sounded like someone was trying to break my door, and it really scared me. After that, I started having allergies. Also, the elevator isn’t working, so I had to carry my big luggage down the stairs from the second floor

The staff in particular moved above and beyond for me. My flight arrived very early, and they did their best to ensure I got a room as soon as possible. I also had late deliveries following me checking out, and the hotel staff did their best to assist me, which I sincerely appreciate. I'd definitely stay at Best Western again.

Our truck was broken into through the window on our second night while being parked in the back of the hotel. Staff credited us a free stay for the trouble and i was able to replace the stolen items.

The accommodations are great for the price and it includes breakfast. All the staff has been very pleasant and accommodating. There is a pretty well-stocked convenience store in case you need a quick snack. The area does not have excessive traffic. Parking is so-so. They could ise more space.

I would NEVER stay here again. We went overnight for my granddaughter’s surgery. The person was not at the desk to check in and it took forever. The beds were the hardest I have ever felt in my life and this morning there was a roach!!!

Great spot, 24 hour drive thrus nearby and convenient store right next door. 2 of us stayed 2days for a show at the NRG stadium not too far easy to get to. The fridge in the room was actually cold too.

There seemed to be a few items on the common floor that were left for more than a day. One item was a child's sock. Another was some trash outside. Breakfast is bland- your sausage patties have a lot to be desired. Maybe change it up every other day? Yes, I would go back, but not for the breakfast.

The property was super clean and updated which I absolutely loved.. let’s not forget the staff.. they are truly rockstars, they were very accommodating and really nice. My only is was one of the back doors had a issue with the lock and my key didn’t work… this was an inconvenience because it was FREEZING and the only parking available was in the back of the building and the door was locked so you had to walk around to the front of the building.. ouch!! Otherwise the entire place is definitely worthy of a repeat trip when I return to Houston.

We stayed in Houston for the Houston Thanksgiving Turket Trot. The reviews had us worries but it was one night. We were pleasantly surprised by how clean it was and quiet. Staff was also friendly and the breakfast was quite nice as well. The bed was also very comfortable would stay there again if we need to stay in Houston in the future.

We used to stay at this hotel every 3 months for business, but no longer.

She offered half-price for that night, but would speak with the manager about refunding the full amount for that night. Houston has over 300,000 homes without electricity because of recent storms so Hotel was sold out. Because of this the staff is stressed. The beds are very hard.

We stayed Sunday through Tuesday, we had to check in three times before they had any available “clean rooms” and the lobby smelled like weed! And then when we get to room the room smelled like moldy wet carpet and still had trash in drawers, dirty socks under bed, roach in the drawer where the tv sat on, it was a complete mess! There was also no towels in bathroom, Ice machine did not work, we were on the second floor and the elevator was out of service. And I guess they don’t do maid service because the second night we stayed I had to ask for towels again! Definitely would never recommend anyone staying here, pay a little extra and go stay at the Hilton! And there is about three gentleman clubs down the street, wouldn’t recommend for families! A lot of commotion at night, just disgusting!

Ok for a 1-night stay, everything is pretty dated & there was a subtle moisture smell in the room and property.

I absolutely love the people that work there. They are very friendly and nice. It is bad that the ice machine is still down and i still have trouble using the key cards on the outside doors trying to get back inside.

Convenient if you need to do some errands in Houston. Close to Galleria, but less expensive than Galleria hotels. A good option for a breve stay.

The rooms are very outdated and dirty. Lots of prostitution. The doors are locked after 9pm so if u forget your key u might have to wait in the cold or heat until a staff members wakes up from a nap. They lock the entrance at the back so if u have to park at the back be ready to walk to the front with all your belongings. Horrible hotel

The name BW “Galleria” led me to believe that hotel was in Galleria area. It was not and was surrounded by adult stores & strip clubs. We didn’t even check in. Pulled in parking lot & preceded to book a hotel in the real Galleria area. Did not appreciated being misled. Glad it was after dark when I arrived.

Fast check in with the sweetest staff member. Room was very clean.

The room was spacious and accommodating. Unfortunately the room had a lingering, foul odor. The staff was on point and attentive.

There is no daily cleaning service. Cleaning is only once a week. So we dumped the garbage ourselves every day and changed towels every two days. If they can provide every other day cleaning would keep the place cleaner. The hotel carpet can use a shampoo clean too. The door locks are old . We have to reprogram the keys every day in order to open the doors. We almost missed our flight home because we got locked out after breakfast on the last day. The front desk person couldn’t open the door for almost an hour. It was early in the morning at 6 AM and the maintenance man works from 8 AM. That really made us panic! By 7 am, I grabbed a customer from the breakfast room to helped us and he managed to kick open the door! The back door to the parking lot didn’t work half of the time! The facility needs some updates! The employees are very friendly and super supportive!

Room are outdated and need a upgrade. They had a smell of moisture that I could not shake. Also seen a few bugs crawling around. Nonetheless the older staff were nice.

The night staff wasn't very helpful but the morning staff was much better. It sits near a strip club and according to the night guy the limited availability was due to people straggling in from the bars.

Stains and tears all over floors, filthy sofas, white spots, spills and stains on sofa. Jacuzzi did not work properly, no pressure no bubbles. Had to wear shoes j8st to walk to the bathroom. Was thankful i was allowed a refund.

Great staff and breakfast! The area is not safe.

Easy parking, easy access to room. The lady at the front desk was the nicest ever.

Everything was great, beds were cozy.

The management at this property is incredibly professional, knowledgeable and helpful.
