The room felt clean, it would have been nice if they turned the AC for us before we arrived in summer it was hot the first few hours, but after that it was pleasant. The pictures of the breakfast over sold the actual breakfast it was limited. But it was comfortable with bedding and the location was good for us to get around to where we needed. A couple of spots nearby the hotel

The room was bare minimum toilet had issues flushing, there was a 2 inch gap under the front door so light would come in through the crack. My husband and I stayed here for the weekend while we attended a marriage conference in town. I really liked the black and white color scheme and various accents both on the exterior and in the interior. Our room was clean and the AC worked great. We had a King-sized bed and three pillows, which were clean. There were mounted dispensers for soap and lotion, but no towel rack for the hand towels and wash cloths. Also, the hotel provided K-cups for the little one cup coffee maker, but there's no puncture needle - so we had to open the K-cups and pour the coffee in the filter, which made a mess. The owners need to reframe the door to the room, as there is quite a space between the frame and the actual door. Even when the bolt is in place, you can see a nearly half-inch gap, allowing light and air through. Lastly, breakfast could have a little more variety, but I understand they may not have a full kitchen. Perhaps some boiled eggs or yogurt could be offered and placed in a crock/cooler. Overall, it was a decent stay for the price, despite overnight shenanigans with some crazy street racing and loud music. I don't the fault the hotel for that. I loved the lobby's ambiance and the staff were friendly to us. Thank you!

There was drywall dust left on the floor in the bathroom where renos were recently done.

Standard good hot waffle breakfast. Could use a Kuerig machine. There was an issue with the electricity, a power company issue. Something about the 3rd phase of the three phases was missing. The maid service was great. Traffic noise was a bit loud. Overall, a good basic motel.

Breakfast was poor and it could last little longer like until 10am. It ends at 9 am.

Let me just start off by saying that hotels need to stop using Ai to make their rooms and houses look nice. Walking in to check in the whole lobby area reeked of weed. It was not pleasant at all. Then we go into our rooms and they were not like what the pictures looked like. The rooms also reeked of weed. Beds were so uncomfortable pillows were not bed pillows they were couch cushions in pillow cases. The floor were concrete floors and you could feel the dirt so I put socks on and they got completely black after walking on the floor for a bit. Said we had free wifi but was never given the password. At night it was scary cause the area was overall just sketchy. There were half naked women outside at night cause they were filming xxx videos there. I was not expecting to see that. We just stayed in the room cause we were afraid to go out. Then in the morning we go have breakfast cause it said free breakfast and they had a picture of a buffet setup but when we went there was only granola bars, stale cereals, brown bananas, apples that looked like they put their nails into them and the mandarin oranges had rotten spots oh and the milk for the cereals was in a pitcher and it tasted spoiled which I fed to my kids, not knowing it was spoiled. Coffee was terrible. The only thing my kids liked were the waffles. So we just packed our stuff and left to go have an actual breakfast. It’s a lot but I just have to be honest cause I didn’t know the area.

The overall cleanliness was concerning, as the entire room had a pungent, chemical odor from the cleaning agents used. My experience was further frustrated by several maintenance issues: the first room assigned had no power in the bathroom, and the second room featured a bathtub with a missing drain plug and reversed water plumbing (cold water from the hot tap). Additionally, the ice maker was out of order, and the staff seemed poorly trained and unable to provide basic assistance.

It was a pretty good stay overall. I was in town for an event, room was clean, traffic was low. Took a few to figure out the shower situation and you only get 3 pillows and none of them are very comfortable but that's really the only negatives in my opinion.

I like that it was ducked off so there was privacy. Staff was attentive and consistently cleaned up. There wasn’t too much to not like, we didn’t experience much difficulty except the keys going out(failing when you put it near the door), but they fixed it quickly

I loved the location and room. It was very hot when i walked in. They could've left the ceiling fan on at least. I checkes in after 9 so it was already late. The bed was hard. I didn't rest well at all. Room Wasn't cleaned properly as there was dust and a bottle top from a previous guest on the floor by the door. Bottom of shower curtain was molded.

The Grand Villa Inn Galleria is misleading the hotel rather motel it is not a hotel and not near the Galleria. It is in a questionable part of town with fantasy and bars close by the Inn. And the location is by a street named Beverly Hills. Someone had an odd since of humor.

Large bathroom counter, large lighted mirror for the make up girlies, fridge/freezer, full length mirror. Everything was very clean, no damp smell! One opportunity would be to either get washable couch covers or invest in faux leather couches that are made in the same style as in the room, that I’ve seen in other hotels; they are wipeable! Couch is made of fabric and had a teeny stain or two. This was all in all the best overall stay on our trip! Very happy!

Everything was fine. At first, they gave us a room that smelled strongly like someone had smoked there, but we asked to change and it was better. The bed and pillow were very comfortable. The only thing I complain about is that there wasn't a blanket, but what was on the bed felt like a tablecloth and wasn't warm enough.

Location is what I need. Breakfast is brief but OK. The room is large with a sofa, a fridge, and a microwave, almost an apartment. Check-in process is easy. I was assigned a room close to the road. I requested another quiet room away from the road and the staff did the change without argument. Some rooms may be noisy if they are close to the road. The AC and the fridge may generate noises when they are running.

Nothing The hotel seems unsafe and everyone can go inside the hotel. If you are upstairs you have to use stairs there is not any elevator. The staff of reception was staying like in jail and says that hotel is safe. It was meaningless. The pillows were like sofa pillows. The room was huge not like a warm hotel room. We didnt feel safe with our 4 years girl.

I'm coming to this hotel very often with my family because it's close to everything. Upon I entered the room I went to the bathroom and I felt someone was there and they left the toilet paper wet and almost finished. The TV control wasn't working and the card door doesn't work neither the entire time while I was there it was frustrated because it's happened the entire time while I was there.

The waffles maker was a great idea. The room was spacious and had amenities for a comfortable stay. The location was ideal in close proximity to lounges, eateries and stores. The staff were friendly and supportive especially Shein. The same basic breakfast spread each day. A more protein rich breakfast with eggs and sausages should be considered.

Staff is super nice and willing to help. The rooms are big and well cleaned. There is a mandatory deposit of $50 that it is not mentioned when you book the room.

To make matters worse, an air compressor outside my first-floor window started early every morning, disrupting my sleep. When I requested a room change, staff admitted the noise was equally bad elsewhere, leaving me no choice but to endure it. The bathroom was terrible—the toilet had no water pressure, forcing me to manually fill the tank for flushing. Staff refused to fix it, telling me to continue doing it myself. Cleanliness was another major issue. The towels were filthy, and despite multiple requests, they were never replaced. I even spotted a cockroach. When I complained, the manager threatened to force me to check out. For the price, this property is a poor value. Many branded hotels offer far better experiences at the same rate. I strongly recommend avoiding this place.

Do NOT stay at this hotel! Save yourself the time and money. Front desk staff is unprofessional and money hungry. Have hidden fees that are not explained nor written upon initial check-in. Both front desk employees need to be educated on proper customer service as they lack understanding of how to properly conduct business and also need education and training on hospitality.

While this is not a cushy "5-star" hotel, it is definitely a GREAT value, in a convenient location to my daughter, very clean, cute appointments, good coffee in the room (I'm a coffee snob), and the most comfortable bed- I slept through the night for the first time in years! I will definitely stay again the next time I visit Houston.

Horrible experience. Had to check out after arriviving very late and only staying a few hours of a 3 night stay. Roaches, hair, dirty sheets, and broken door. Couldn't get any refund from the hotel or expedia for 2 different disgusting rooms.

This was the worst place I've ever stayed. We booked 3 nights and showed up very late the first night so we had no other option than to stay until morning. There were roaches, alive and dead, dirty sheets, and hair from previous guests in the tub and sink. The bathroom door didn't even latch. I have photos, but there isn't an option to upload them in this review. We checked out as soon as the sun came up and told the front desk why we were leaving, and they wouldnt do a refund for the remaining 2 nights because it was booked through expedia. They said we had to get the refund through expedia. We contacted expedia and they said it was up to the hotel. The charges on my card are from expedia, not the hotel, so they could refund me. I was traveling for family medical reasons, and booked this hotel through expedia because I trusted them in an area i was unfamiliar with. Obviously the reviews are fake and expedia isn't as trustworthy as I expected. DO NOT BOOK AT THIS INN!!!

The cleanliness also left something to be desired—especially around the baseboards, which need more attention. The hotel is making some improvements, but they still have a long way to go. I also had a frustrating experience with check-in. I arrived an hour early and was told I needed to pay a $10 fee to check in early, even though I planned to check out well before the 11 a.m. checkout time. After waiting in the parking lot for 30 minutes, the front desk staff finally allowed me to check in without the fee, but the whole process felt unnecessary. Would I stay here again? No. Would I recommend it? Also no.

Quick solo trip. I thought was fine. Room was not fancy (didn't expect it to be for $77), but it was clean, and pretty new. It was a motel (door accessed parking lot) in a close to downtown area. You need to be more cautious than being in a more secure 5* hotel of course, but I had no problems, rooms were quiet and parking lot fine. I wouldn't recommend this place to my 20 year old daughter or wife just for those security concerns, but at end of day, for a single guy, it was clean, Direct TV, at the right price and right location for me (near Galleria). I'd stay there again.

Upon arriving to check in we were given a room that had not been cleaned after the previous guests. My husband and I needed to change before going to eat so we changed and they said they would have it ready when we returned.. we returned 2 hours later and it had still not been cleaned. We told the front and they had someone come in and put a sheet over the mattress pad that had urine and blood stains on it. THEY DIDN’T EVEN BOTHER TO CHANGE IT! I took pictures of it before leaving to see if they had changed it but they didn’t. SO DISGUSTING and unsanitary to say the least. Again told the front and they said they couldn’t bring us another mattress cover because they had no maids on duty. We offered to come get it ourselves and were told “no”. After taking that off ourselves we then realized this place doesn’t even give you a blanket unless you ask for one… CRAZY! Finally once we laid down on the hard bed, I look up to see that someone took the batteries out of the smoke detector and just left it like that. So long story long.. don’t stay here. Tried to get a refund but clearly the management/owner is garbage just like this place.

Every thing was excellent, other that under the sofa cushion was empty bottles of male sex enhancemen. And a couple of dirty stinky socks that had dust from being there a while. But I definitely will stay here again.

Besides the room having a sort of foul odor, everything was great!

Good value for the price!

The neighborhood is very noisy and a major passway for racers drving with no mufflers. Other guests hang out outside of their rooms and being very noisy. The rooms themselves are very good, clean and well though through and the location is convenient.

Nice and simple, got me in and out no problems.

Given its location near to, and serving the airport, it's very unfortunate that there's no shuttle service to the terminals. Also, there's no real food or drink available for dinner or breakfast. The recommended catering service was very expensive and the food they provided wasn't very good.

Very good budget friendly hotel thats been renovated with beautiful decor. The bathroom was very clean. The room is spacious with frige and microwave. The one issue you will have is traffic and traffic noise.
