AC Hotel by Marriott Fort Lauderdale Beach

The location and the nice view They charge me extra $75 dollars and $60 was the destination fee I also had a hold for $250 which was fine I got that back I checked out the next day later I had a charge for $243 when I called nobody is telling me why on Top of that valet is $50 a night

The cleanliness, location, how beautiful the location is. It is also close to many amenities and the 10 minute ride to the airport. 10 Stars N/A

The Staff and Robert the Bartender was Amazing

The staff is pretty pleasant however upon check in we were given amenities due to us having to pay multiple fees everyday. They weren’t that helpful and were things that should be accommodated for me like beach chairs and free breakfast which was $25 a person and they gave us a daily $15 credit but you could not use it at the grab and go only at the bar for one drink or breakfast for half off one persons breakfast. Upon arrival to the room, the bathtub was rusted, the shower chair was dirty and unclean. The nightstand lamp shade was not only dirty but neither lamp worked. I was also charge $250 for a pillowcase that had water stains on it from my headscarf after going to their pool. The floor also was not swept and had sand particles from the last persons stay. The pool was nice because there is so much sargassum in the ocean but that was it. This was actually my second stay here and I am greatly disappointed. Went from a 5 star to 3 star stay.

Clean, the bars, and location The unexpected fees at checkout

Fantastic location. Very well kept property. The 24hr giant Nespresso machine in lobby is a plus. The complimentary beach towels/bag and chairs were great. The front desk staff, valet and buffet server were beyond helpful. A+

Location 15-20min ride from the airport 10min from las okra blvd (restaurant walk area) walking distance to some restaurants shops and right across the street from the beach small pool with beach view on re 4th for small but workable gym beautiful lobby with 24/7 caffe station you have 2hours daily free bike use hotel is modern looking pretty clean and cute food is a ok rooms are specious clean also the bathroom mattresses and pillows could be better not much storage space so modern clean pretty nice place they do have 2 beach chairs included but you have to walk to Ritz like 2 blocks down to use there is bar at the pool and in lobby if you need to rent a car there is Avis in hotel W like 2 blocks down if you with family I would recommend going to Lauderdale by the sea rather than Fort Lauderdale on the Beach food all around was very good

The view of the ocean was everything

I had an excellent stay at this hotel. From the moment I arrived, the staff was friendly, professional, and eager to help with anything I needed. The room was spotless, comfortable, and well-maintained, with all the amenities necessary for a relaxing stay. The hotel’s location was convenient and close to local attractions, restaurants, and shopping areas. I was especially impressed by the cleanliness of the property and the attention to detail throughout the hotel. The customer service was outstanding, and every staff member I interacted with made me feel welcomed and valued. I originally booked a room with an ocean view. However, because there was no sofa bed available for my family, we were moved to a different room that did not have the ocean view we had paid for. In addition, when it was time for our son to go to sleep, we discovered that there were no bed sheets provided for his bed. We had to contact the front desk and wait for the linens to be delivered. Another issue was the cleanliness of the room. There was a significant amount of sand on the floor, and whenever we walked barefoot, our feet became dirty. This gave us the impression that the room had not been properly cleaned before our arrival. For the high price of this stay, we expected a much higher standard of service, cleanliness, and attention to detail. Unfortunately, the overall experience did not reflect the premium rate charged by the hotel.
