Reviews
The hotel is in a great location, close to the beach and restaurants, but the rooms are small and basic with mixed reviews on cleanliness. Guests appreciate the included parking, but note that it is limited and can be difficult to find a spot. There is construction across the street, but it does not seem to cause noise issues for most guests.
- Great location close to the beach and restaurants
- Parking included in the price

termite infestation in the bed + throughout hotel, unsafe property as well as no lock on door, don’t stay here if you’re coming to relax. left after 1st night.

the only thing good about this place was parking it honestly did not feel safe it wasn't clean both rooms they tried putting us in had clothes and trash in it and hadn't even clean it felt very sketchy and we left immediately

Up your beautiful property and have some pride!!!

It was a good cheaper room. Need to figure out the parking. That’s a bit wild where the cars are parked.
- 1/5
Smells of mold dark and dingy looks like blood on the walls and entry door TV was hanging on the wall and no fire alarm dust everywhere stay away
- 4/5
I love the location. A great no frills hotel. Only issue I had is that the hot water never got hot.
- 3/5
This was super difficult to find parking when I arrived, eventually had to pay to park in another hotels garage. The property had ciggerette butts all over, the room was relatively clean, but not directly outside. They also had signs everywhere telling you that they’ll charge you for different things (stained towels, lost key card, etc…)
- 5/5
It was exactly what I needed
- 3/5
The hotel itself was simple but comfortable and worked well for a short stay. One thing to note is that parking is very limited. Vehicles park in the courtyard area, which made unloading and loading luggage a little more challenging than expected. Overall, this was a good budget-friendly option in a convenient location. If you're looking for an affordable place close to the beach and attractions, Drift Hotel is worth considering.

Overall not a bad stay but you guys need to work on condition of property plz, this place is a gem with its location.

This location is very good and I enjoyed walking threw the Local area A few negatives is that it was a holiday weekend and Parking no guaranteed on site so I kept my car there for 5 days and there is a courtyard but it was full of cars. I would just suggest to get a second floor unit because it seemed like there were families moving in above and sleeping was difficult. But the room was clean but empty of furniture In other words there was and there was a TV stand and two Bar stools and that's it and I was having back problems so I had no place to really sit for 4 nights. But the location is very good a nice restaurant like A football yard a way NA Starbucks Quarter Mile. All in all I would suggest this place Just don't get a bottom floor rm 4

We stayed for one night and when we checked in the room they gave us had water leaking from the air conditioning in the room so we had to change the room the 2nd room he gave us that room had a bad air conditioner that would not work we movet our bags in that room and went for dinner and came back after like 1 hour but the room was still hot and to me look like that the guy knew that air condition is not working but still he put in that room so after the dinner we got another room that had everything working but we were not able to sleep because people from the room above us was jumping and running and the office was closed they left the property on it’s own so I wouldn’t recommend to stay at this location

the hotel is clean and very near to the beach. The only issue, that i couldnt connect on internet from my room.
- 3/5
I chose this property for location to beach and airport and free parking. I was disappointed that its fairly run down. Could be cute in the courtyard but empty pop bottles and paint buckets and rollers were strew about making it look cheap and run down. They had 2 towels and a hand towel in the bathroom only. I asked for facecloths (washcloths) and they said they don't have them. What are you supposed to wash with? Also the room was bare bones. I had a corner room and it could have been really cute but was void of any decor. It wasn't well maintained - dirty and scuffed up walls. The bathroom had hair from the previous person still in the shower as well. The beds were hard as rocks. If you just need a night, it will do but not for any longer than that.
- 3/5
Worst part of the stay was the parking. Also the walls are very thin.

No wash cloths, towel holder was broken couldn’t hang towel. Dirty ceiling above shower. Cob webs in closet. Very close to A1A Fort Lauderdale beach which was great. Only good thing about the place. It was only for 1 day so it was whatever. Wouldn’t stay here multiple days.

The pics were deceiving. The room looked very old and the bed was broken. The mattress was extremely hard. In the bathroom, the bathroom was extremely small with toput anything for toiletries. There was only enough room for hand soap. The 2nd floor did not have an elevator so you had to bring your luggage up the stairs with no hand with no hand rail. The office closes at 7 local time. So if you come in any time after that, you have to figure out how to get into your room with a keypad. But the bed was obvioualy broken and they aloud guests to sleep in a broken caved in bed. I would say the only plus to this place is it's next to a beach. I won't be staying there again. I wish I stayed at the bigger hotel across the street.
- 5/5
Best staff and very convenient location to the beach.
- 5/5
The hotel is perfect for one night. If you are taking a cruise..is a good option.
- 4/5
Good location to be right in las olas convenient for the beach, shopping, eating and everything in between. I only needed a one night stay. The bed/towels were clean. The rooms could use a deep clean (dirty base boards, dirty windows/mirrors, dust, drain gnats, soap stain build up). Otherwise decent. The outside area is super cute lit up at night the price was right and easy to book.
- 3/5
Location is great, but amenities are pretty old and you can smell weed a lot.
- 5/5
We needed a hotel for the night before heading to the airport in the morning. We got of a cruise early and went directly to the hotel. He held our bags at the office and even offered us beach towels while we wait for our room. The room was spacious and the air worked as it should. Best room for the best price in a great location. Not much more to be said.

Location and beds were soft Noise from upstairs and never cleaned our room during the 3 night stay
- 1/5
The proximity to the beach and the landscaping are the only redeeming qualities for this hotel. The rooms look absolutely NOTHING like the website pictures. There are no dressers, there are no sitting areas, very little furniture, no coffee pot. There weren't even light bulbs in the bedside lamps. There's a platform bed, two nightstands, a tiny little fridge, a fiber board armoire from Walmart, and a television that would not turn on. The wires from the television were bundled up in a rubber band and hanging down the wall.

There is not a microwave or coffee maker in the room. I was out of the hotel before the office opened in the morning.

The staff is very friendly, the location to the beach and neighboring cafe is great, and the rain shower is very relaxing The mattress is very thin and hard and the bedding is thin and not very soft. The bathroom has cold exposed concrete and there is not very much parking available at the hotel.
- 3/5
The hotel has the bare necessities. The coffee and microwave are in the office which is closed until 8:00 am. The staff is very helpful. Housekeeping happen only when I asked for it. Bed was comfortable and the room was very clean. The bathroom was spotless and had tons of HOT water at all times of the day and night. There are vending machines with a great selection of drinks and a sparce selection of snacks. The location is a block from the beach and walking distance to many restaurants. This is not fancy but I stayed 5 nights and will be back. There is not a microwave or coffee maker in the room. I was out of the hotel before the office opened in the morning.

Good for the cost. Would I have chosen this space again in the future, no, but it is a very affordable place as a home base in DTFL, but don't expect anything luxurious. Bathroom had a big whole in the ceiling above the shower head and was rusted and pretty rough, like it has been that way for a while. Shower curtain smelled like it hasn't been cleaned in a while. A lot of cigarette smokers in the outside hang out area, pretty gross and literally made me walk faster past them and didn't make me want to hang out there at all. If you're looking for a place close to the beach , this is it, but don't expect any of the amenities all of the other hotels around have. It's a place to rest your head, that's about it.

Wow where to start, None of the pictures are a true description of this place…We stayed in room 22, the bed spread had a cigarette burn, the towel holder in the bathroom only had 1 bracket on the wall the rest of the holder was completely missing, the hand held shower wand is broken and sprays water out multiple areas the safe didn’t work, part of the electronics was missing…Watched a worker the next morning dump the trash can on the ground to empty the water since it had no lid, though they state there is free parking, it’s only enough space for maybe 10 cars…Oh and finally they do not provide wash clothes, supposedly the owner longer provides because apparently people where flushing them down the toilet…Would not recommend to anyone at this point…

Our room had a very musty smell to it. Paint was cracked and peeling off the walls and ceiling. The walls were so thin I couldn’t sleep until late in the night before all you heard were kids screaming outside, people stomping around in the room above us and others talking in the room next to us. I had high hopes since the ratings were so good. Never again.

Not a thing! Dirty floors. Got out of shower and my feet were dirty. Tv remote didn’t work for on/ off or volume. No hair dryer. Loud. People were fighting in the middle of the night. No phone. Had to plunge toilet as soon as we got in the room. Shower door didn’t shut. Parking not good. No ramps for room for handicap person. Can’t get in touch with booking to get refund. Impossible to get in touch with them.

Great location but that was about it. Room was filthy when we arrived. The bottoms of our feet we're black from walking on the floor. After taking a shower, we wore our sandals inside. Burnt end of a joint was left in drawer next to bed. This is a low budget hotel, and the clientele resembled that..... Pay more and stay somewhere else like we should have done.

Cute hotel, not a high rise with lots of amenities. A fresh coat of paint and a few decorations/photos and this place could be one of those boutiquey kinda places. The good, all staff were friendly and helpful, a block away from the beach, nightlife and dining options super close, cvs and Starbucks close by, beach towels for use in the lobby. Air conditioning was super cold. Super quiet hotel and location. Didn’t see any bugs on the property or in room. The not so good, no wash cloths, tissues, iron, coffee pot, microwave or hair dryer in room. Iron, hairdryer, coffee and microwave available in lobby. Not one ice machine on property. No pool, if that’s your thing. Room wasn’t the cleanest when we arrived, hair in shower and some spots in sink. Not the best hotel, or the worst. Probably best for shorter stays.
- 3/5
Geographically very convenient and free parking is a huge bonus. #1 This was my 2nd stay and both times I found the staff dismissive and rude. Some of the customer facing staff don't seem to be able to communicate in English. #2 My room (#15) was tucked away in a corner by a housekeeping room. The door opened the wrong way and was very challenging to get in and out of with a pile of laundry bags outside the door.
- 2/5
The location was good for our event. The room was bright. The property is dated, there was mold on the ceiling in the bathroom. There was no smoke detector in the room, there was a place for it but there was none there, There was cable but all the programs had issues loading, the programs would freeze and skip.
- 1/5
From the moment we entered the room, it did not feel clean or comfortable. The shower was dirty, the walls and baseboards were dirty, and there was visible dust on the windows and nightstand. The mini fridge was especially concerning because it had mold and was clearly not cleaned properly. Some of the closet areas also seemed damaged or broken. There was also trash left outside another room, which made the overall environment feel neglected. Although the hotel is located in a tourist area near the beach, the inside of the property felt very different from what I expected. It did not feel safe or well maintained. What also concerned me was the check-in process. I arrived, gave my name, and was handed a room key without being asked for proper identification or any additional information. That made me feel uneasy about the security of the hotel.

Very friendly and helpful staff and the complementary on site laundry was definitely a bonus. The room was spacious, though ordinary, and the property could benefit from a refresh, particularly in the bathroom. It definitely benefits from an outstanding location near the beach. Overall, excellent value for the money.

Clean, spacious room and bathroom. Front desk was so friendly and extremely helpful! So convenient to beach and restaurants. Cute courtyard area!

It is within walking distance to downtown Fort Lauderdale. Peeling paint & marks on the wall in bathroom Towel rack was flimsy Shower head was hanging down & wouldn’t stay pointed out to shower space you had to stand under the slow flow & is leaking down the wall, no pressure No washcloths allowed No phone in the room Bed extremely uncomfortable & was very thin at the edges. You couldn’t sit on the edge of the bed TV was very difficult to get to the very basic guide & there were no apps to sign into Toilet was not bolted down, moved when you sat on it No counter in bathroom, only pedestal with small shelf Long black hair on the bathroom floor obviously was not vacuumed from prior customer A switch in the ceiling over the bed with no cover Entrance to our room was blocked by dirty laundry bags everywhere time we were there, day or night No ice available Freezer froze ONE cube in the whole tray Parking is a disaster & our windshield wiper was removed Front office was a mess with boxes everywhere Was difficult to find staff for help Didn’t speak much to us, just fixed the TV & left & the TV kept disconnecting connection

Floor was sticky and room stunk like a dirty mop. Checked out 15 minutes after arriving! Went to another property!
- 2/5
Shower was either scolding or hot with no pressure. Tv didn’t work and had wires hanging all over the place. Parking is insane, no guaranteed parking and cars are literally parked into the property grounds, like into the court yard where it’s meant for people to walk. There is little to no security with drunks staying at the property screaming and partying into the night setting off smoke alarms. There were dirty floor mats hanging everywhere on the stairwells, and the grip tape on stairs is peeled up everywhere but still there causing a tripping hazard. Various trash all over like empty hot sauce bottles and batteries on the stairs. The ac units are impossible to work correctly. Not much good to say about this place except for location, but for $300 night it’s a complete scam.
- 2/5
Trash everywhere
- 3/5
price was fair. close to beach and not a far walk from nightlife. room was clean (however, smelled of bleach). Bed was real firm. Construction was being done on the hotel. The big issue, FREE PARKING was advertised, however, appeared they don't have a spot for every room. Arrived at checkin time and no spots. After an hour, mgmt found a spot but was not big enough for a standard size pickup. Pictures appear old, as this place no longer looks this nice.
- 4/5

Easy walking. Parking, was a problem..but they really helped us to take care of it...
- 1/5
Shower and sink did not work properly. Room smelled bad, bed was hard. Property was rundown..
- 4/5
The rooms themselves were decent—nothing overly fancy, but cozy and clean enough to feel comfortable. There was a noticeable chlorine smell that was a bit strong at times, and the room could definitely use some updates or minor improvements. Still, it had a welcoming feel that made it easy to settle in. The grounds were very well maintained, which added to the overall charm of the property. One standout feature was how incredibly easy the check-in and check-out process was—quick, smooth, and hassle-free. Parking was a bit of a downside, as space is limited, so that’s something to keep in mind if you’re driving. Overall, if you’re looking for a place with an unbeatable location at a great price, The Drift Hotel is a fantastic choice. It may not be perfect, but it’s absolutely worth it for the value and convenience.
- 2/5
AC was OK, but when I first checked in, ran into the situation with toilet cover full of light yellow fluid drops all over… I had rush and didn’t bother letting receptionist know because I was going to stay only one night this time and didn’t wanna go through all hassle change room etc.
- 3/5
Stayed here twice based on price of the location! ( the location was everything). But paid for king suite, I think the only reason it was called a suite because it had a closet, body mirror, small bar stools with a little table. However I immediately asked for a different room when I saw it. Bed skirt was filthy, bed was hard, tv did not work. I was given the room next door. That definitely wasn’t a suit, but better bed, tv worked, still could use a better cleaning( like the floors sand and dusty like) and needed a little more cleaning in bathroom. They don’t have wash cloths I usually bring my own though. Community microwave that needs cleaned. No amenities. But for the price you don’t get any lol. If I come back to Ft Lauderdale I would pay an extra $200 to stay elsewhere. However if you are someone that is only focused on location for a good price so you can spend money in other places, don’t plan on being in room much at all, you can get by with staying here for a short stay and check your room and demand what you need such as clean room. Pros: LOCATION close to everything in walking distance. AC worked good, staff was nice.

It was close to the beach, that's it. The picture that's online it looked very nice but when we got there it was absolutely disgustingly filthy and nasty and dirty I have pictures I'm spoiled milk in the refrigerator hair and dirt in the bathroom drawers a false eyelash in the sheets when we open them it was absolutely disgusting be more and. It was a case of false advertisement because the pictures they have online was a complete opposite of what it looked like when we got there I can't imagine that is legal. It's the most disgusting place I have ever seen in my entire life a fake eyelash in the sheets when we open them nasty refrigerator with spoiled milk, floors were so dirty we never took our shoes off. I have pictures of everything but this app wouldn't let me download them these people need to be sued, or at least shut down

The worst place we’ve ever stayed … we booked a suite but got a basic room which was dirty and had food on the floor and there were toilet stains down the wall in the bathroom and the toilet leaked.. there was a lot of noise from staff in the morning from 730am and then guests at 4am were very loud and playing music! We sent a message to the front desk but have still not received any reply or compensation as yet! This place was more like a one star if that! We would definitely not recommend it !
- 2/5
The room smelled of bleach but it was not clean. Staff not very informative at all. I would not recommend this hotel.
- 1/5
The air conditioning was the only good thing about the room. Parking was about 5 spots for the entire hotel. Bed was horrible and had a hole in the comforter. Mini fridge was extremely loud. Could hear everything from people walking upstairs and outside talking. Couch had a broke arm. The electrical outlet was missing a cover, extremely unsafe if children would stay there. Fuse box was right next to bed, uncovered. For some reason, had a light switch on the ceiling. If you missed Mai’s service in the morning, you are not going to get it. Terrible painting, tile and caulking in bathroom. Target purchased tall length mirror still had store packaging on it.

Check in was a breeze. Room had a terrible, artificial, strong deodorizer. Chairs just outside the room for people to smoke. Floor was the dirtiest ever. Couldn’t stand to have my shoes off. Great location but won’t be staying there again.
- 1.5/5
So loud neighbors up all night long and walls are too thin.
- 0.5/5
The pictures on the website do not represent the condition of the hotel. It smelled like bleach. We also had to wait past check-in time to get to our room. I loved the location, half a block from the beach. The condition of the hotel would be perfect for college students on spring break.
- 1/5
Sand in bed, internet and tv didnt work, floors and walls filthy. Crazy banging all night. Lights had no switch..list goes on
- 2/5
My sheets weren’t fresh when I arrived b/c there was sand in the bed my first night. Nobody changed my sheets for the remainder of my stay. Spring Breakers run amok all night and the thin walls make sleep impossible. No amenities whatsoever except a vending machine that was nearly empty.
- 5/5
Walking distance to the beach
- 1/5
The room is run down with pain peeling and closet shelves broken. Garbage was overflowing in the courtyard and it was very noisy. There were no attendants that responded to the phone after 10:00 to deal with all the loud music and arguing that was going on at 3:00 am.
- 4/5
The room was clean & nice. There were several restaurants within walking distance. Free parking was a no as. Great little hotel.
- 3/5
Our room itself was clean, the walls so thin we could hear the man snoring in the next room, so glad they was not party goings next to us. the office space was very cluttered and did not give a good first impression. The staff was hard to find when arrived to check in. The location is only a short walk from the beach, lots of food options and shopping along the beach street. I forgot my jacket in the room closet after many attempts to contact them through email and phone I finally got through and was told to call back in 2 hrs. The voice mail was full, I have tried multiple times and still have not heard back from them. Very disappointing.
- 2/5
The rooms need renovation. There was some black mold in the bathroom. The pictures appeared to indicate they were on the beach and that there were restaurants attached or nearby, The only restaurant we saw was Casablanca on the same block.
- 5/5
Great location, friendly staff.
- 3/5
If you have scented product allergies, do not stay here. The scent from the products they clean, disinfect, etc is overpowering. Windows do not open to air out and if it is spring break, its way too noisy to leave the door open to air out.

The area was great but the biggest issue was the photos and reviews were deceiving. We reserved a king suite and got a less than standard king room. Room and property appeared old and outdated (kind of slummy). Very disappointed with this reservation. Do not recommend! Considered eating the money and getting a room at the hotel next door.
- 3/5
Clean room. Update was good. Sparse amenities. Had to ask for hair dryer. Close to the beach, restaurants and shopping. Delivery blocked our door when leaving in the morning.

El personal de la recepcion super amable y sobre todo al pendiente de las comodidades nuestras dando las indicaciones claras y concisas, aparte bilungue un extra, Gracias

The floor was in the room was never washed. I had to wash the floor as seen in the pictures of the towel that I used. with a little tender care and updates the place could be nice. They did put it in a new air conditioner. That works great new shower door, but doesn’t make up for how pour the place really looks.

If I could choose “0” stars I would. From the moment I arrived I realized the pictures in the listing had to have been edited. After a long flight I arrived at 1:45am and there was NO PARKING. They say there was parking in their description of the property, but not enough spaces for all so if you get there late you're are out of luck & street parking is expensive & you shouldn't have to deal w/ when you were expecting a parking spot. It was a mess in there. The building look in need of patch repair & paint. The front door of my unit #9 looked like it had been kicked in. The room smelled of mold. It took forever to finally get hot water to work. 100% ZERO INTERNET! If you need to work forget it, or want to do anything online. The walls had dents & paint missing, the floor was greasy, there is no place (closet) to hang your clothes so I had to keep my suitcase open on the bed, there was grime where the walls met the flooring, there was rust on the fridge, the room was noisy, the tv wouldn’t work, there was no water pressure, the lights on the nightstand look like they cost them $5 and never stayed on. I can go on. My last night I had to get up at 3:30am to catch my flight & there were at least 8 people ALL NIGHT sitting in the courtyard loudly partying & screaming and laughing & not caring at all about anyone else staying there. Even as I left the hotel at 3:30am they were still insanely loud & yelling & laughing. DON'T WASTE YOUR TIME...DO NOT STAY HERE. WORST EXPERIENCE.
- 5/5
Very accommodating staff, went above and beyond to make we enjoyed our stay. Great location.
- 4/5
It was kind of run down. Beds are very hard. Very close to the beach is a plus.
- 1/5
Room was dirty. They only give two towels - no face cloths. I stayed for 4 night - my AC never worked in my room. The office staffed "looked at it" multiple times and it would never stay on. I had multiple wasps in my room --- and requested a new room and was told no.
- 5/5
In would recommend to travelers living for a great beach locations at a very reasonable price! I would return! And GREAT staff!
- 3/5
Our room was for the most part clean, the floor was not. You had to leave your shoes on or your feet turned black and if you stained the sheets or towels they would keep your $100 deposit. However, they are just down the street from the beach and a short walk to some shops and restaurants.
- 2/5
The hotel was very basic. No pool, no amenities, not even a smart TV. Our door was not even functional, the key card did not work, we had to use a physical key. The room smelled old and musty, however the location was amazing. Very close to the beach and pumping nightlife. Also the free parking was a plus.

This was an overpriced flophouse. Very disappointed in the decent reviews it had received. We honestly worried our luggage would not be there when we returned from dinner.

1. The staff is so rude. We arrived at 10pm and the guy was playing a game on his phone ignoring us. 2. The parking is non-existent. I had to pay 30$ for a parking 10 minutes away because at the hotel it’s first come first serve. When I asked the guy at the front desk he told me “I don’t know, just drive around and find something” 3. There is mold all over the walls in the room and bugs flying around. Disgusting. 4. Where my room was located was where the toilet pipes flush. I heard people flushing all night I couldn’t sleep. 5. Our toilet wouldn’t flush. The urine would come back up. I had to ask for a full refund and left after less than 12 hours because of how nasty this place is. I had to rent a place somewhere else because I simply could not stay in those inhumane conditions.

The floor didn’t seem like it had been cleaned. There was no fire detector in the room just board hanging from the ceiling of where it was supposed to be. There was only one sliding door for the shower so when you showered the bathroom got wet. Everything was dusty. The shower mat in the bathroom had not been changed/cleaned. The walls were dirty.

If I could choose “0” stars I would. From the moment we arrived we realized the pictures in the listing may have been edited. We arrived at 3 to drop off our luggage and were only going to be there for a few minutes. There was no parking at all. The guy at the front desk offered we could park our car in the courtyard which I thought was unusual. We checked in, there was construction going on and painting in the office. It was a mess in there. I got the keys and went up to the room and there was a strange broken vending machine, an eye sore, sitting in the center of the courtyard. The building look in need of patch repair and paint. Our front door of unit 9 looked like it had been kicked in. The room smelled of mold. We dropped our stuff off and had to rush out to our appointment. We came back around 11pm and tried to take a shower and there was no hot water. I began to examine the room and the walls had dents and paint missing, the floor was greasy, there was grime where the walls met the flooring, there was rust on the fridge, the room was noisy, the AC wasn’t working, the tv wouldn’t turn on, there was black mold in the shower, there was no water pressure, I can go on… I went to complain to the front desk and ask for a refund but no one was there. I had to walk around the grounds in search of someone and there was one lady who barely spoke English. The few words I got out of her was that I should come back in the morning and I could get a refund, but he said no.

Where to start. The room was not clean, the TV did work, the AC/heater did not work. The bathroom shower door did not close and there was mold in the cracks. The fan in the bathroom did not work. There was no attendant available in the evening. I want a complete refund as this was not a place that should be rented out with all the issues and non working or functional room.

Please don’t book here!! The pictures online of the rooms are very deceiving from what they actually look like we got to the hotel to check in the front desk clerk took my name didn’t even ask for ID he handed us the room key when we entered the room it reeked of weed and there was so much water damage to the walls there were holes in the bathroom door it was so grimey and the beds were as hard as a rock it’s more of a cheap motel the neighbors next to us were using a flat iron to light up their blunt… like it’s just so ghetto we didn’t have a good experience I wouldn’t come here again
- 4/5
Everything good
- 1/5
From the moment I walked in, front desk staff was not welcoming. Place looks and felt like a motel. Room smell like cigarettes and cleaning product. Ended up staying at another hotel. One star for walking distance to the beach.
- 1/5
The location is great, but the room photos did not match the photos on the website. The mattresses is paper thing and the room had a musty smell. The door swings out, not in so wasnt anyway to double lock the door.

The room was okay but the smell was horrible, we think it was from the air conditioner so we turned it off. Just wasn’t good, but the bed was comfortable.

We had just been on a cruise and was staying 1 night in Fort Lauderdale before going home. The location was great. The room was clean but whatever cleaner or room fresher they used was a bit overwhelming. The courtyard was very nice to sit at night or early morning, just needed to be swept a bit. Staff was very accommodating. We would stay again.

Last year we had a great stay at the Drift Inn. It’s close to th e water, and the inner coast. This year, we were ready to fly to Fort Lauderdale but had an emergency. I requested a refund, but given the runaround.
- 1/5
Checked in, walked in and walked out. Place has seen better days, like in 1959. $203.00 on Hotels dot.com. I’ve stayed in nicer Motel 6s. Floor was sticky. Furniture old, chipped and faded. Mini Fridge was a 1960s Electrolux in a homemade plywood cabinet encasement. Bed was hard and comforter questionable at best. Didn’t stay long enough to check the sheets. We had seen enough. They should use my $203.00 to at least by a new comforter since we wrote it off as a loss.
- 5/5
Simple but nice. Close to all the things.

I usually don’t leave reviews but I felt the pictures really misrepresented the hotel. I wish I could say something nice about the experience. Sorry. Would not go back.

The bed was hard(this is the most important feature of a room). The sheets felt like sand paper. The floor was sticky. Never would ever stay again.
- 1/5
Dirty. Noisy. Car is blocked in and can’t leave on time. They took no responsibility. Terrible experience. Never. Never. Never stay here!
- 2/5
Maybe this used to be a 3 star hotel, but not anymore, definitely more like 1 or 2 star. All in I paid about $100 for 1 night. Considering the good location this is a great price. The room did the necessary job of having a bed and bathroom. But definitely not the nicest of accommodations and the office/common areas are pretty dumpy. My tv didnt really work and they never gave me the wifi password so when I remembered to ask, it was already past their office hours. Summary, good spot for a bargain but dont expect much.
- 4/5
el arreglo de las habitaciones era de poca prolijidad, buen wifi, disposicion de cafe y te a toda hora, ubicacion inmejorable para el precio pagado.

Easy walk to beach and restaurants. Basic room. No frills.
- 3/5
The Drift is a no frills hotel, serving the purpose for basic needs while traveling. The hotel is older and has been somewhat updated. The beds are comfortable and the room was clean. Recommend to bring any drinks or food with you as there are no availability for snacks onsite. There is a small refrigerator in the room. Price was affordable and hotel is about 8 miles from the port.
- 5/5
Room was great. Staff were friendly. Would have liked more light in the room. It's rather dark
- 4/5
The location was great, the room could have cleanliness improvements. Overall good place to stay to enjoy the beach and the city.
- 4/5
The staff was very polite and the room was decent. Very close to the beach and many restaurants. If they only had blockout blinds
- 4/5
It’s located in the center of the Fort Lauderdale Beach strip with bars and restaurants and one block from the ocean next to hotels that cost twice as much so I can’t complain, but I’m a guy don’t expect the women to ever accept this place even though they haven’t recently renovated new floor new paint new bathroom it’s just got a little motel like feel that they will never appreciate what you get for where you’re located mostly not speaking for all of them, but it works for me because I only go to sleep there. The room was big beds were comfortable. Bathroom was clean water pressure and temperature was great air-conditioning worked and it was close to Everything to go out and enjoy life for extended
- 1/5
Don’t stay at the Drift Hotel if you are expecting even the most basic of amenities. I’m not talking things like a gym, or free breakfast. No, I’m talking things like soap. We had no soap in the room. Had to go to the desk to ask for it. Also don’t expect a working TV. Ours wasn’t working, so when we asked for the soap we also asked about the tv. The front desk clerk came to room, proceeded to take a personal phone call on his cell, then told us that the Tv doesn’t work. Then left. Let’s see… what else…. Paid for a drink in the vending machine but it was empty of every choice (old fashioned type where you can’t see the stock, or lack thereof, in it). Poor upkeep. Stains on the walls. Yellow water in the toilet. I cringed when it came time to shower. Dead bug on the bathroom floor, and maybe the most egregious fault. No coffee maker in the room. Only stay here if you need a cheap room that smells like mildew, and you don’t expect to wash your hands or body with soap, don’t drink coffee, and have no need for a working tv. Also stay here if you want to hear EVERY FOOTSTEP the guest in the floor above you is taking. Nothing like the very loud sound of creaking wood to wake you up. I feel like I should say something positive. The electricity did work, so we were able to charge or phones. There, that’s the positive.
- 3/5
The floors had loose tiles loose had to put our suitcase over those areas to make sure we didn't hurt oursleves
- 2/5
My partner and I had just driven 5 hours to get to Fort Lauderdale, and after all that we still had to step out to buy cleaning products simply to stay the night. It was that bad. The only benefit of staying here was the proximity to the beach and the walkability, there are a lot of restaurants and stores within walking distance. don’t come here unless you want to spend $45 on cleaning products to clean your own hotel room.
- 3/5
The location is ideal - less than a block to the beach. The room is "no frills" - very basic with not even a chair in it. I called it a step above army barracks. There is a courtyard just outside your room where you can sit with a table. However, at night homeless people occupy the courtyard and the other chairs which are IMMEDIATELY outside your door, like less than six feet. They are not New York crazy homeless people, just homeless and actually quite polite and not threatening in their demeanor at all. On the of the five nights I stayed there were homeless people outside on three of the nights. That said, I can overlook it and I actually felt sorry for them. Two of the nights it was pouring rain and they just wanted to sleep under the five feet of shelter just outside my room. They leave first thing in the morning. Even with all of that I would still stay here again because of the strategic location and the bargain basement price versus everything else in the area.
- 3/5
room ok and clean
- 3/5
Great location, paid for a suite but did not get it. Problem with the shower.
- 4/5
All in all, the hotel is worth staying at for the price and proximity to the beach.
- 2/5
The room had very strong cleaning solutions to almost unbearable. Floor is sticky.
- 5/5
It was acceptable for a night but not especially inviting. Very old and no hairdryer. The blankets in our beds were so thin we both froze and had to put on socks and sweats. Was weird!!
- 3/5
Pros: the room was clean and it’s a quick walk to the beach. Cons: folks at the reception desk ( with the exception of one guy who was working Sunday morning) were very unfriendly and not welcoming at all, I mean, not even a “hello.” The room was clean but spartan, bed was rock hard, bedspread dingy and worn, no hair dryer, no cups, no coffee. The place gets a 3* for location only
- 3/5
The air conditioner didn't work. The room smelled overwhelmingly of an air freshener that made us cough all night.
- 3/5
Room had a strong bad odor. Beds had mattresses that didn’t fit and had corners that banged knees. Lots of smokers in courtyard. But the location was great and generally felt safe
- 2/5
Stuff was great, very friendly. Pool are is good. Location is the best. But room is where you get what you pay for.. very old and neglected. Dirty not as in not cleaned but just old, rusted, chipped paint.

Why is Expedia allowing this place on their site?! Plus, the booking was set to pay at the hotel, but the hotel attempted to charge my card 3 days before the reservation date! Why is that allowed when there's an option to cancel 24 hours before? I emailed them to ask why they were trying to charge me beforehand and they never responded. I'm glad my bank stopped the transaction. The Drift Hotel has nothing to offer other than a great location within walking distance to lots of tourist traps, restaurants, and the beach. So, stay at your own risk!
- 5/5
Thank you for the wonderful stay!
- 1/5
Room wasn’t very clean, no hangers in the closets, at least 1 person slept overnight at a table in the courtyard, people were smoking in front of our room, our room had water damage and mold, no place to sit in the room, no dresser. I could go on but suffice it to say, the location is the only reason to stay here.
- 5/5
Simply quiet and close to everything
- 3/5
Room was relatively spacious. Washroom was nice. The walls were not sound proof and you could hear everything in the room next to us. AC was leaking water and created a “wet” smell in the room. Limited amenities. No iron, no water, no safe in room etc. This is not a hotel, it’s more of a motel or inn. Location is very convenient though. Overall, stay was maybe a 6/10.
- 5/5
Very friendky and accomodating staff.
- 1/5
The rooms smelled of mold covered with floral spray. The walls, sheets and bed spread were stand as well. The cleaning staff was throwing sheets and bedding and trash bags over the railing onto the ground outside from the upper level. We ended up leaving and going somewhere else.
- 5/5
Spacious room and amazing shower head!

We did not even check in. We felt uneasy coming in, and talked to a few visitors staying in the hotel. 3 different parties informed us that there was no hot water, and that the rooms were not as clean as expected. We immediately grabbed our bags and went to a different hotel.

Do not recommend to anyone. Absolutely horrible experience. Multiple cockroaches and ac was leaking into large puddles. Management just gave us towels and told us they were sold out so there’s nothing they could do. Wouldn’t refund us. They sent a housekeeper up to check on the bugs. Next morning, we found more. Also, you have to squeeze between parked cars and palm trees just to get to your room. I know it’s affordable, but seriously do not waste your time and money with this place. We stayed elsewhere the second half of our stay wishing we would have done that the whole time. Horrible horrible experience.

Always my go to when i come to Fort Lauderdale. Clean facility, great location. Walkable to the beach (3 min walk), walkable to the strip 5 min walk. This hotel is in the middle of everything thats going on in Fort Lauderdale. Parking is tight but thats my only complaint.

The whole experience was great.

It was ok for one night until our shower didn't really work so that made things difficult bt the staff & front desks were cool, definitely in a good area

The Room was great for what we needed it for. The shower head was messed up a bit and there is no ventilation in the bathroom so you will definitely have to open a window for air but besides that, it was a good experience. Limited parking so if out at the end of the night, you'll have to hope that parking is available. Any additional requests we asked for as far as towels or other things, they were quick to take care of which I appreciated. Great location close to the beach and other shopping and dining. I would stay there again!
- 3/5
No room service was provided on my room, the beverage and candy machines were ancient, limited towels, structural defects with the floors
- 5/5
The room and location were perfect
- 5/5
Everything awesome place to stay
- 3/5
The room was clean and neat. Towels looked a little suspect and I always pack my own wash cloth which was good because there weren't any. I wouldn't trust then anyway. It was a good hotel. I would recommend it for young people and a really quick stay.
- 5/5
Perfect location
- 1/5
Smelled bad, floor
- 5/5
Yes
- 4/5
Location is best thing about the drift hotel!
- 1/5
Dirty smelly room. Just all around horrible property and experience. Checked in opened door and walked out.
- 2/5
No one was in the office when I came to check in. It states check in is from 8am-12am and I got there at 7:30pm. I waited for 30 minutes before someone finally came. It was too late to change my reservation without losing my money. I tried calling and the phone was left at the desk. The rooms weren’t clean. There was mold in the bathroom from no ventilation system. The window didn’t open so that was a fire hazard.
- 1/5
We arrived the hotel at 9:45 pm and the office was licked and no way to contact anyone. There was another party that couldn’t check-in either. Someone at the hotel said the same thing about another guest that had the same trouble the night before. Horrible experience!
- 3/5
AC worked, room was clean but spare; no phone and needed airing out upon arrival. Price was primary consideration for staying here. Marriott next door had food & drink, Uber service to & from airport and pier were good.
- 5/5
Room and staff are always amazing
- 2/5
Staff and location were only good things about this hotel. You get what you pay for.
- 3/5
We were there for a girls trip. Seems like they are working on updating the rooms. Very close to the beach . It was suitable for the quick trip that we were there for
- 1/5
Checked out in around 15 mins after checking in. Room didn’t look as advertised very dark and dirty looked like it was falling apart. Blackmold and thick dust and dirt roaches as well. Suppose it definitely shows you get what you pay for. Luckily they were kind enough to refund the room no problem but caused an inconvenience anyway as I had to find a new booking and go to another hotel.
- 3/5
If you’re just booking to sleep, no worries, don’t plan on having anything to do on the property. Would stay again on a short weekend.
- 5/5
All of the above and hospitality , the quiet and restaurants and the beach within walking distance enjoyed our stay in Fort Lauderdale, Florida. My sister and I stayed there four days and we would go back and stay there again.
- 2/5
Very uncomfortable bed, it smelled like cigarette a lot
- 1/5
Absolutely vile. Filthy, broken, stinking rooms that should’ve been condemned years ago. Don’t be fooled by the beach location — this place is a dump. Hotels.com had to refund my stay because it was that hideous. Should be shut down immediately. Avoid at all costs.
- 1/5
- 1/5
Rooms were dirty. Not enough parking for the amount of rooms. We had to pay for parking. Would never stay again
- 5/5
One block from the beach, very clean, quiet, and comfortable. Would stay again. Within walking distance to shopping nightlife ect
- 3/5
Price
- 2/5
Im not against cuture in fact i love it however; none of the staff spoke English so it kinda sucked when trying to ask the simplest things. You would think 1 person would but it was like we were on our own to figure things out and also THERE WAS NO WIFI ! ☹️ My husband couldnt get any work done during our stay. Couldnt use our phones unless we left the grounds. So id definitely give this place & our experience a 3 out of 10.
- 3/5
The outside hotel property looks very rundown. Looks like a rent by the hour kind of atmosphere inside the rooms were nice. They were redone. Plenty of space, although in our room, the Tv was literally right beside the bed with very little walking room between the two due to their lack of plugs in the room. A rainfall shower, and a complete closet. The AC worked great although it looks like the AC had leaked and there was water damage underneath on the wall. The beds were pretty hard but spacious. Parking was annoying. There is only about 10 spaces so you want to park and not move your car. Things are within walking distance. There was also $100 hold fee for accidentals that was not mentioned on the website. And seeing that we checked out on a Saturday, it was not released until Monday.
- 5/5
All Ho
- 2/5
Needs a scrub and coat of paint. Or torn down. Dirty and dated.
- 3/5
Overall it was quiet, however it did look like the place had not been cleaned in YEARS. My only hope was that the bedding was clean-it appeared to be- and the shower itself was clean. Everything else was not. Did the job of somewhere to lay our heads for one night, but it needs major upkeep.
- 2/5
Very quiet hotel , great location and free parking
- 4/5
It’s a very convenient place to stay for a night or couple of nights.
- 4/5
Comfortable
- 4/5
Everything was great! Lots of mosquitos and gnats were in our room, but overall it was a clean and subtle place to stay for one night.
- 4/5
No issues with the property or staff. It appears rooms have been remodeled recently. Parking is difficult nearby if the parking out front is full which it was the ENTIRETY of the stay. We paid about $80 in parking fees nearby during a 1 night stay
- 5/5
2 min walk to the beach, and great restaurants near by. This is our thitd time staying here, love the location!
- 5/5
Parking is a bit competitive here
- 3/5
There were empty donut boxes in the room. And a bag over the smoke detector. So clearly not cleaned before we checked in. And only 1 wash cloth. Great area but would not stay again
- 4/5
Close to beach
- 3/5
The room was very efficient and clean for my stay However the surrounding area ie sidewalk etc was very unkept. The picture shown is not accurate. I actually felt a little unsafe. The office was not open for coffee at 9am either . No hair dryer either .
- 3/5
This was a decent hotel for the low price, great location, and parking was easy. The staff was nice but only 2 of them could speak English. The first front desk couldn’t even speak one word which is unbelievable they hired him to work the front desk of a beach hotel. He also didn’t tell me a single thing about what’s offered or not offered so I had to make about 5 trips to ask him which was a chore since he couldn’t understand a word. The maid was sweet but also couldn’t even understand basic hotel terms like bed or ice. My tv didn’t work so had to ask to change rooms and no extras like ice or anything. So it’s a good place to stay for a super quick beach stay but definitely nothing more.
- 4/5
Room was decent, everything else was sub-par
- 5/5
Very courteous and the room is very nice.
- 4/5
No frills hotel and a good location near the beach.
- 2/5
This place was a mess. They renovated but very poorly. Staff which I only see one was not friendly. I booked it with free self parking but after 10 pm it’s hardly any space to park and when I asked the front desk guy he said no extra space be here before 10 or no luck!
- 5/5
The Drift Hotel is perfectly walkable to the beach, restaurants, bars and shops
- 3/5
Good for the price.
- 5/5
Limited parking. Walkable are to Las Olas Beach and restaurants/bars around
- 5/5
In a great location. Walking distance to Main Street
- 3/5
.
- 4/5
Great location, could be cleaner.
- 2/5
The room looked nothing like what the pictures showed. There was a bad odor in the room and a lot of noise going on. The worse part was the bathroom the shower head was broken and in order to stabilize it you had to make sure the water coming out the back would hold it in the right place. Floor was dirty you could hear the dirt on it while walking.
- 5/5
Very quiet
- 4/5
Great hotel for the price. Rooms are clean and staff are friendly. Love the location close to the beach and restaurants. Only draw back is the lack of onsite parking if you leave there may not be a space.
- 5/5
I love this place ! Im a local and this is my secret littke retreat and directly across from the ocean !
- 5/5
The best: the relation between the price and the location
- 1/5
Extremely dirty I want my money back!
- 5/5
we loved our stay here! the wifi was great for when we needed to work on our laptops, it was so nice to be able to walk around the area especially being able to walk under 5 minutes to the beach & it was pretty quiet so it was a great place to get some rest!
- 5/5
Nice location
- 3/5
It was convenient and reasonably priced especially being so close to the beach. Please note that it is bare minimum and not even an ice machine was on the premises but overall it was not horrible.
- 1/5
Roaches and a hot mess. Will not recommend at all. It’s a dirty motel
- 4/5
Very walkable. Great staff.
- 1/5
There were mosquitos in the room & sand in the bed. I had to book another room the same night elsewhere because I would not stay there. Didn’t get a refund either
- 5/5
We had a great experience at this hotel. I will say keep in mind that this hotel is an older hotel and a smaller hotel. Yes it did have some aesthetic flaws, but you could tell that the owners and staff put effort into the way it is presented. The courtyard was very nice and open. The rooms were very clean and the staff was excellent when we arrived the room they put us in. The air conditioner, was not working, however, quickly rectify the situation and put us in a nicer room that the air conditioner did work. For the price that we paid and still were less than a block away from the beach two blocks away from CVS and restaurants and shopping we were able to walk everywhere. Yes, the parking was slim however, the four days we were there we only couldn’t find parking one night. So my suggestion is park your car and walk or take an Uber. Overall, we had a great experience and we will definitely be back.
- 1/5
THE DRIFT HOTEL HAS BED BUGS. THE DRIFT HOTEL HAS BED BUGS. THE DRIFT HOTEL HAS BED BUGS.
- 5/5
Great place and location! Also the staff is very accommodating
- 3/5
Terrible wifi, everything else was great! thank you!
- 5/5
Yes
- 5/5
Worth the price
- 3/5
The rooms are clean and big. The hotel is in a very nice area. The room cleaning process make the hotel looks like they are remodeling, you see cleaning products on the outdoor tables, towels on the chairs and toilet brush on the rooms tables.
- 3/5
Location, location, location is the best thing about the Drift Hotel, everything else lacked basic customer service.
- 3/5
Great Location. Poor Wifi
- 4/5
I only stayed for one night, but location was great and walkable to the main restaurant areas. it was good for the price. very thin walls, i heard my upstairs neighbors walking and talking all night. probably wouldn't stay here more than a night or two but good budget hotel.
- 3/5
Basic hotel, good location.
- 3/5
They need more parking options for their guests. I had to pay $50 for overnight parking in a parking garage quite a ways from the hotel because of the limited parking.
- 5/5
I love this place is my first time at this area and really lake.
- 2/5
This is a place to rest your head in walking distance from the beach. You will get scammed and they will not refund your 100$ deposit and will not answer the phone when you try to call about it. Disputing it with my credit card. The room smelled like chemicals and the bed was very uncomfortable. Very noisy and the TV did not work. Staff was not very friendly and people smoke right outside your doorway. Also the AC DOES NOT do the job at night. Overall not a great night of sleep but it’s SO close to the beach and walking distance to several restaurants so the location is perfect.Would not recommended a long stay but if you want a place to lay your head for the night or you don’t care about mold then this is ok. Oh and there are only about 8 parking spots so good luck.
- 2/5
This room is not intended for a long stay. The location is ideal however the room leaves a lot to be desired. The TV didn’t work, no phone to call for help. No one at the desk after 9. If you consider staying here please do not do an extended stay
- 2/5
Wifi is horrible. I'm a remote worker and was unable to work efficiently
- 4/5
The hotel is basic but staff and location are great!
- 3/5
Parking situation was very poor
- 3/5
Parking maybe free but very limited. Got a $40 ticket while we went up to our room to unload our vehicle. There was no where to park. Spent an additional $100 in parking at a city garage a couple of blocks over. Wifi was shaky. Maintenance repairs were subpar bandaids. Property was generally clean. Location was close to beach & entertainment strip.
- 3/5
Can't beat the price but you get what you pay for. It's a minimalist place if you just need the basics. Beds were pretty terrible it must be said
- 4/5
We stayed at the Drift for one night before leaving on a cruise. The hotel is basic but did the job - beds were comfortable, A/C worked, bathroom functioned. Great location a block from the beach but surrounded by high rises. I would stay here again.
- 2/5
This hotel used to be a lot better and cleaner. Besides floors and furniture being used up and outdated, there was constant smell of weed in the evening from guests sitting at the gathering area of the first floor inside the facility. This was my second and the last stay here. Not coming back here ever again.
- 4/5
Excellent location, clean and the staff were polite. However, the room and bathroom needs an update.
- 2/5
No staff to address the issue
- 5/5
Excellent location and value. I hope that had better beach chairs.
- 5/5
Great location, clean and quiet
- 3/5
Proximity to beach was nice. Room was clean. No pool.
- 4/5
The location and price makes this a great hotel find. It's just a short walk to the beach and great restaurants options. Limited parking. Our room 18 was large but offered no chairs. The TV was horrible, every 10 minutes it closed out your program and requested to connect to the WiFi. We heard every footstep from the unit above us from 6:30am on. The room was very clean but only included 2 towels for 2 woman. We asked for more with no problems. The outside is dated, old and in desperate need of a landscaper. There are several postings in the office, threatening more charges if you lose a key or evidence of smoking. Honestly, if you are just looking for clean, spacious, safe place at a more than reasonable price, the Drift is your place to go. We would only go back if it had a pool.
- 4/5
Great staff, room has mold in the light and bathroom but other than that was a great value for what it was for sure! Would return for a future trip for sure!
- 2/5
The air conditioner was full of mold. I had to turn it on out of necessity, but they should definitely clean it. I honestly didn’t see any spoons, but I had to request a room change because the ground floor room was full of humidity, it smelled really bad. I left the hotel with a headache due to the mold smell coming from the air conditioner. The hotel is very close to the beach, and overall the room is okay. They charge you 100 UsD as security deposit, my bank days that deposit will take 7 business days to reflect in my account, son i'll wait
- 5/5
Stay there every chance I get.
- 2/5
not amazing. ac froze up 75° all nigt to sleep . mold on ceiling bathroom. if u just nned a cheep overnight stay .
- 2/5
Would not stay here again. If you’re looking for a place to stay longer than one night…DO NOT choose here. WiFi is terrible, parking is terrible, and they have zero amenities. Will pick anywhere else to stay next time I’m in town.
- 4/5
Shower door did not close and tv did not work all the time
- 1/5
When i arrive to the hotel we found cockroach everywhere. The manager told me they are going to give a refund so i decide to leave the hotel and i did a reservation in another location.. the hotel have not give me a refund yet they steal my money.. avoid this location at al cost.
- 5/5
Absolutely amazing! Thank you so much!
- 5/5
Great location. Friendly staff. Good Value
- 4/5
Nice quiet property located in walking distance of many restaurants and the beach. Perfect for a weekend getaway.
- 5/5
Great little hotel! Close to the beach and amazing price!
- 5/5
My go to hotel anytime I’m in Ft Lauderdale. Hotel is a 3 min walk from the beach and 10 mins from the strip. The staff is very kind and were able to let me check in 4 hours early with no hassle.
- 5/5
The customer front service agent was very polite with my team. I will definitely stay in this hotel on future projects.
- 5/5
I really enjoyed this hidden gem of a hotel. The location is unbeatable for the price. The beach is less than a 1/2 block walk. The only drawback is that parking is limited and you are not guaranteed a parking spot. There is no street parking in that area. Staff were friendly. Air conditioner worked great in my room!
- 4/5
My only complaint being on the first floor was the very loud noise from the folks above our room. There were unrelenting heavy steps and a grating sound across the floor, as if they’re moving furniture. Good thing I still got some sleep anyway, having been dead-tired from our activity-filled cruise and touring Fort Lauderdale a bit.
- 2/5
The check in desk/lobby was filthy. Dirty coffee pots random cutlery. It smelled like food not in a good way. The advertising for this place gives you a whimsical vibe but it is very low quality. Perks they have a vending machine for snack and drinks, provide shower supplies, good air conditioning, and close walk to restaurants and beach. They just really need to clean up the office area. I was turned off as soon as we walked in.
- 5/5
Nice
- 5/5
excelent
- 1/5
Tv not working, noice , can hear people form others room
- 2/5
People where sitting outside our rooms making so much noise
- 5/5
great bed, cold AC, clean bathroom, TV with all the channels, great location.
- 5/5
Loved the location!
- 5/5
Nice location a block away from the beach. Staff were pleasant and professional. Would stay here again.
- 2/5
Room was outdated with flimsy furniture. Mattress was thin and dirty. Room does not look like the pictures on Expedia. Room needs a deep clean. Check in/out workers are not very welcoming. We booked another room in the area because of the condition of the hotel. The only plus that this hotel has is the location and parking.
- 5/5
Great stay. Very easy to get in and out and have access to the beach and restaurants. Would stay again 100%
- 5/5
It was conveniently located to a convention I was attending at one of the nearby hotels. I would have stayed a third night but I knew that I would have to have my dog that third night and this hotel is not pet friendly.Otherwise it was an excellent value for the money
- 3/5
The location is great! But when I arrived at 11:45 PM the front desk clerk gave me a parking pass and told me they were full and I couldn’t park at the hotel? She told me I could pay to park at the hotel next door or drive to a beach parking garage down the road! This was my first visit to the area and had no idea where I was going, made for a very frustrating first night!
- 3/5
It gets to 10 as far as location and it's less than 20 feet from the best restaurant in Fort Lauderdale Casablanca Café. The rooms are very big and clean not a lot of bells and whistles yes it's dated and yes when you first walk in you get a big cleaning smell the beds OK and there's just a sheet and a tiny blanket. But for the price she can't beat it
- 5/5
My third time staying here and I’ll keep returning. Great prices & so close to the beach
- 2/5
Room has no coffee pots, very outdated, had mold on shower walls, no microwave, room did have mini fridge that didn’t stay cold, office don’t open till 8 that’s where the coffee is, door didn’t lock properly, tv remote only worked the channel nothing else. If your looking for a very budget room not to far from beach and don’t care this would be fine. I would rather spend 30-50$ more and have something nicer.
- 4/5
Staff at the front desk were pleasant and check in was a breeze. Rooms are a bit dated and the bathroom is pretty small but you are staying here for the location, which cannot be beat. Lots of stuff to do near the hotel. We would stay here again.
- 4/5
We made reservations with the option to pay upon arrival. Minutes before boarding my plane I received a text from the hotel explaining my card was declined and I needed to pay with a different card right away to secure my room for the night. Luckily my husband, who was not traveling with us, was able to take care of this , since I would be on a plane and unble to complete any transactions while in flight. According to my husband there was quite the language barrier. We arrived after midnight and the front desk attendant was there to meet us. After checking in and getting into our room, we immediately noticed we only had two of the four towels needed. I was able to secure the two additional towels from the front desk attendant before she left for the night. Unfortunately, what I realized too late was the bathroom, had no toilet paper. This stay was only as a quick one night, before a cruise, so the basic bed, lamp, desk was enough for my family of four. The rooms had no oder, was clean, and the furniture, although dated, seemed to be in good repair. The floors were a laminate type flooring, which was generally clean, but we noticed it a bit sandy. (Somewhat expected for a hotel a block from the beach) The bathroom was simple and clean other than some small mold spot I notice around the window seal in the shower. For the price point I was happy with budget friendly option in a great location.
- 5/5
The staff was attentive and friendly, rooms cleaned daily, beach towel service.
- 2/5
The WiFi was very poor we couldn’t control the air condition and most of the staff didn’t speak English. It was all bad.
- 2/5
IF sleeping in the bed is a bad thing. I want my deposit back.
- 2/5
If you need a place to stay for one night, this place is alright in a pinch but I wouldn’t recommend it if you have other options. Not all rooms have WiFi. The floor in my room was filthy. Their luggage storage isn’t safe. The location is great though, walkable to the beach, food, shopping, etc.
- 3/5
The room was clean, however black mold is visible in the bathroom and the front entry.
- 5/5
Loved it! Minus the construction we couldn’t get the car out
- 4/5
Perfect location
- 2/5
The air conditioning was musty. No WiFi in the room. The tv didn’t work. Floor was sticky. Someone was yelling on there phone for hours in the middle of the night until early morning and an alarm was going off all night from someone’s door. Wouldn’t recommend for more than the night before an early flight at most.
- 5/5
The common area was a delight with outdoor lighting and comfortable seating for large groups
- 1/5
The room was advertised as a suite yet it had no microwave and was set-up as a hotel room - nothing like a suite. other rooms were visible that were much more suite-like. Parking was a nightmare - 15 spots meant no one could open the car doors. - windows down and climb through to the end vehicle to exit. I came out in the morning and had to walk in the mud with my roller board to get to my car whcih I climbed through the hatchback to get ot he driver seat to pull out of the spot. Floor as sticky - bed comforter was questionable so I threw it to the ground and slept under a single sheet. built in automatic air freshner smelled like a freeway rest area - I threw up twice.
- 3/5
It was fine for one night. No more. Great location! Rooms are musty. No ice. No coffee until 9am. If you want to park, get there early. Staff was very friendly
- 4/5
For the price it was a good deal! Room was simple. Would’ve appreciated a chair and desk in the room…, but everything was clean which matters to me more. Loved that it was a quick walk to the beach and dining. I’d stay here again for a quick affordable getaway.
- 3/5
It was more dirty and run down than I expected. The rooms need to be freshened up. Peeling paint, older feel. Location was close to the beach.
