This is really more of a motel than hotel. I wish j had known and seen this before I booked. Staff leaves at 6pm. The restaurant next door is nice with good food. And the location was good. Right across from the beach.

Compfy beds and clean rooms, Everything is in walking distance, and the beach equipment (chairs/toy/towels/umbrella) were all a nice touch.

I enjoyed the close proximity to the beach and all the shops and restaurants. The Casablanca Cafe is a historic restaurant and lyes just next door. Breakfast all the way thru dinner with live music in the evenings there too. Nice hotel community outdoor balcony with Adirondack chairs and a beautiful ocean view. Lots of bang for your buck on a budget. I recommend 😃

The snooze hotel in Fort Lauderdale was great. The staff was very helpful and the room was clean. Very close to the beach and delicious restaurant next door. Our only issue was booking through hotels.com is the actual website. This delayed our check in and caused mis comunication between myself and the staff at snooze. Other than that we had a great stay!

Room was clean and beds were comfortable. We stayed for one night prior to leaving for a cruise. The location was perfect! Right across the street from the beach and walking distance to so many shops, restaurants, and CVS. Check in and check out was simple. We were able to park a Chevy Equinox but anything larger may be a little difficult.

Every aspect was awesome. The shower pressure was the only issue due to dated plumbing we’d imagine, but other than that- couldn’t ask for more for where Snooze is located for what you get for the price. I’d argue unbeatable!

My husband and I stayed on a Friday and had the best time. The property is clean, safe and the perfect location. I’ve returned years later and it’s the same wonderful treatment. The rooftop cabanas are always available and perfect for coffee. The best / most romantic restaurant in the city is right next door. I highly recommend this place for couples wanting a romantic getaway. Call the hotel directly the manager is great!

Lovely small hotel across the street from the beach.

Great value for the price and the ocean view. It’s older and not as modern but our room was clean and everything was comfortable. Having a restaurant next door was very convenient.

Great location on las olas boulevard and close to restaurants and bars. Across from beach with a very chill rooftop area. A little noisey from the street but overall a good vibe!

We had the bunk room which was incredible value for our late arrival flight. Solid internet and great location with easy walking distance to attractions and as close to beach as you can get in Ft. Lauderdale. Only downside is it is small space with no view from inside but if goal like ours was a clean place to lay your head til you can get into already committed accommodations like convention or cruise the coming days, this fits the bill nicely. Elevator was not working so we could not check out rooftop but 2nd floor terrace was nice but again small to enjoy morning beverage and ocean view.

We had a great stay at Snooze !!! Mat was very kind and explained everything in detail . He was able to give us a room earlier than expected , and we appreciated that . The rooftop has amazing views of the ocean . I will definitely book again whenever I go to Fort Laudardale!

This hidden gem isnt so hidden anymore. Weve stayed here 4 or 5 times in total. Place is cute and clean, matt got us in early to enjoy to its fullest. No pool, parking is tight. Location is perfect! Ocean and restaurants are down the block. Trust your gut and stay here! We will again next time in the area

The property itself also feels very outdated and needs several updates. The shower head barely functions and clearly needs to be replaced. The next day I texted to express my disappointment and asked if there might be some type of discount since we were unable to use one of the main features that influenced our decision to stay there. The response I received was a complaint about a $4,000 elevator repair and a statement that giving me a discount would prevent them from making payroll. To be clear, the cost of operating and maintaining a property is the responsibility of the business owner, not the guest. It felt like being told that if a restaurant’s oven breaks, the customer should still pay full price for a meal they never received. Overall, the situation felt poorly handled and unprofessional. If you enjoy a dated atmosphere and are comfortable with the possibility that advertised amenities may not be available when you arrive, this might be the place for you. Otherwise, consider other options.

Matt and Mike were wonderful hosts, very friendly, courteous, and went out of their way to make sure our stay was great. Can't beat the location across from the beach, and the free use of beach gear (towels, chairs, inflatables) made going to the beach a worry-free venture.

Room was very clean and housekeeping came daily which i declined some days. They made excellent use of the limited space.

I'm not sure why this place has such mixed reviews? This hotel was fantastic!!! The room was clean and appropriately decorated. The rooftop has great views and even the second level deck was nice to hang out on. On the roof, there are lounge chairs, and these cool tall round basket things with cushions in them, that you could just lay back and relax in. The beach is literally across the street. This is a beachfront hotel! They have vending and ice machines and a washer and dryer, and I think a grill also. There are different areas to sit at little tables outside. They have beach towels, beach chairs, sand and water toys, and even Styrofoam coolers for your use. Parking can be a little tight, so only small/medium sized cars. You have to pay a daily Parking fee of $10. The hotel is in a very walkable area and there are a lot of transportation options, so you may not even need a car. This was by far the most affordable beachfront hotel, in the area. The office is only staffed during the day, but they communicated very well and asked if I would be arriving during office hours or if I needed after hours instructions.

Old roadside motel. Noisy. Cramped. Elevator was directly across from our room door. If you're a minimalist who doesn't mind street noise until 1am, then drunks till 3 you'll enjoy this. Roof top patio was nice. But the down sides far outweighed the good. With some TLC and an operator who cared...much of the stay could have been easily improved. Owner is just milking this property.

No complaints at all! Would book again. The Snooze Hotel has been around a while it seems as it’s a small hotel nestled between large ones but its room is impressively large, updated, clean, and comfortable. This hotel offered an affordable price directly across from the beach. Matt was welcoming and offered storage for luggage upon early arrival from cruise as well as beach chairs and towels for free.

Great location truly directly across from Sebastian St beach! Surprisingly large room and very clean.

Also, the entire roof is an open garden with a number of lounges and A couple of cabanas with a nice big comfy round mattress inside. We took a couple afternoon naps up there and most of the time we were the only ones there! It was super nice having parking below and it was just $10 a day. Our room was rather small, but it was completely updated and very clean and very cheerful. Since the price was quite reasonable compared to everything else nearby, I think it's a very good value for what you pay! A Starbucks was just 400 ft north of us, but the coffee in our room was actually quite good! A 10-minute walk South and we are in a small complex with a number of restaurants to choose from. Our favorite ended up being Con Murphy's. The beach in front of the hotel is also very nice, and was never super crowded! The owner was always very nice to us and quite friendly!

It's hard to leave a bad review for such a beautiful location on the beach, but alas. The manager is extremely spiteful and unprofessional. He ruined the experience. The bed quality was very poor (worn out/body impressions/very old/uncomfortable). I mentioned this after he asked for feedback and then he became hostile and told me not to ever stay there again. Shocking response. Instead of apologizing or offering any compensation he blamed the customer. Then he went on to boast about his great ratings online. They also violate FL law and do not clearly disclose the extra fee for using a credit card upfront. They tell you their "processor charges them a fee," but this is not the equilvant of "you will pay this fee." What a bitter experience, soley and squarely due to the manager, who says he's worked there since 1991. During my stay while it was raining there was quite a bit of water ingress into my room on the floor (front side of the hotel).

Keep in mind it is a two star hotel, so if you are looking for luxuries, you may not find them here.

Thoroughly enjoyed our 2 night stay at Snooze. The clean room was perfect for us to relax and recharge before our cruise. The management staff were very friendly and provided helpful information about getting around with ride-share circuit. The rooftop deck was beautiful and the views of the ocean were breathtaking. Snooze hotel was across the street from beach. We would definitely recommend this place. 👍👍

The floor in the room was filthy. After taking a shower I walked on the floor with bare feet. My feet looked like I had walked on the street with no shoes. The bed was comfortable and the hotel was in a great location. The views from the rooftop were terrific. There were plenty of dining options within walking distance, including a Mediterranean restaurant (Casablanca’s) right next door. It had good food.

The GM is clearly a hard working guy who made our stay effortless and enjoyable. He's the glue keeping the place from falling apart (possibly literally). The room was very clean, spacious, and well appointed. I wish we could have stayed longer. The two public balconies overlooking the ocean were wonderful. While the beach location is great, it also comes with the downside of vehicles with blaring music and loud exhausts owned by people with small genitalia desperately seeking attention. Thankfully, it was relatively quiet on a Sunday night but I couldn't imagine getting any sleep on a Friday or Saturday. You can walk a few blocks south to find a mall, restaurants, and clubs if that's your thing. That area is lively with restaurants, drinks, music, pools, and smells of cologne/perfume, booze, and bad decisions. Oh, to be young again!

The room was perfect. It was clean and they took care of me all week. While I stayed, there changed out the towels, trash bags made my bed. I really enjoyed staying there. I will be back!

We spent one night at Snooze in celebration of our 40th anniversary. Our favorite restaurant in Ft Lauderdale beach is Casablanca Cafe. We live in St Petersburg, Fl. so I decided to get a hotel close to the restaurant. Next door works! This hotel was absolutely perfect. I booked an ocean view room which was absolutely perfect. We really enjoyed sitting on the roof deck watching the cruise ships go out and then back on the roof to watch the stars after dinner. We loved everything about this hotel.

Loved the spacious room! Elevator is super slow and door is quite heavy. TV in the room could be a little bigger for the space and paper towels could be provided for the room type. Otherwise everything was great. We enjoyed our stay.

Extremely clean, plenty of towels and toiletries, kitchenette and 2 king beds, prime location and the manager Matt it's not only very pleasant but extremely helpful. Definitely recommend. No frills meaning there's no concierge or valet or restaurant within the hotel, but right next door is a wonderful restaurant and across is the Westin Hotel that has a Starbucks all within walking distance directly across from the beach prime location for Fort Lauderdale Beach

General manager was terrific as was all of the staff. Excellent breakfast right next door at Casablanca Cafe. Walkable to a variety of eateries. Lovely little beach front boutique hotel tucked in among the other massive spa hotels and condos. Excellent personal service, great location on the strip, close to lots of food and drink options. The executive room was spacious with all the amenities of home.

I only stayed for one night to escape the chaos of Miami, but I was greeted by a friendly gentleman at the front desk and given a nice clean, quiet room with a comfortable bed. Property is in a perfect location to explore the area and the beach is right across the street. Bus stop was only a few blocks away, but if you have a car they have parking. No complaints and I slept great!

Staff was great! Room was good with cold AC! Only complaint is with the shower hot water. I am not one who likes really hot showers but even with the shower on fully hot water, the water was just slightly above warm.

While no view from the room, everything was clean and comfortable and suited our needs. There’s a Starbucks right next-door at the Westin and also a spa. On the other side next-door is a Casablanca Café, which had phenomenal food. The beach across the street was wonderful and the shower to rinse off the sand at the hotel was better than the ones off the beach. If we stayed longer than two days. I would probably want something With a little more room, but this was a perfect little spot.

Snooze is a smaller hotel but the GM does a great job. The hotel is clean, in a great location - convenient to the beach and great restaurants. The GM, Matt, is very kind, explains everything in detail and is very accommodating. This was an amazing find for my wife and I. We would happily stay again if we are back in the Ft Lauderdale area and highly recommend Snooze Hotel to others.

Great location. We did stay in the dorm style room. It was small but efficient. The only issue with the room is it has a tv for each bunk bed and one wasn’t working the guy tried his best to fix it but couldn’t. The room did have a few cracked tiles but nothing unsafe. It had a mini fridge and microwave which was great. And I loved that they had chairs and towels and boogie boards for the beach! Even sunscreen so thoughtful!

The Snooze Hotel is a hidden treasure in the best location on the Ft Lauderdale Beach strip. You park and that's it. You can walk or ride golf cart taxi service everywhere. Matt the hotel manager and the rest of the staff are friendly and always helpful to the fullest extent. Free use of beach chairs and towels. Awesome sundeck overlooking the beach. Basic but wonderful place to stay.

Amazing location right on the beach. Room was very spacious and clean. We enjoyed the 5th floor terrace. Service was great too and we were explained all the rules in detail. Property is a little dated but well maintained. Best location! There is an additional 3% fee for using credit card to pay for the room.

It was great fort the need- we were just there for one night after getting off a cruise ship. The top patio was fun! They are just across the street from the beach and have chairs and towels and umbrellas and other beach stuff for you to use for free♥️

Now the property is very old. The rooms are rough. Very rough. Wires hanging out of the window air conditioners. No ventilation in the bathroom so the room is constantly feeling wet. The cork screw provided was rusty. Even the coffee pot was rusty and looked terrible. We did not use any of that. It was very disappointing for the money we spent. The only thing it has going for it, is the location. It’s perfect!

This was the perfect place to stay if you want somewhere with an amazing view! The staff is absolutely wonderful and patient, especially the manager Matt! The access to beach equipment including sunscreen was super helpful, and there are a few restaurants and cafes right nearby. The beach is literally across the street, and it’s beautiful and fairly quiet. The only negative was that the walls were thin, but it’s an older hotel and that can be expected. Overall would highly recommend the place, you get great bang for your buck.

Snooze is a really fun and cute hotel. It is right across from the beach and if you have an ocean view room, the view is amazing! It is an older property, so the outside does shows its age a little, but the room we had was updated, clean, and great. The property person Matt was also very nice and helpful. Even though we stayed during spring break, our stay was lovely. We hope to stay there again!

Really great experience! Matt and Nick were outstanding! Love the fact that they kept the spring breakers out of the hotel. If I go back to Ft. Lauderdale again, that’s where I’m staying again.

Front desk staff was awesome.

Matt was so attentive, answered any questions we had or recommendations. We have stayed here before it very 1960s retro which is so awesome and refreshing with all the fancy high rises around it. Our room came with micro, fridge, kitchen sink and utensils, coffee pot.

We had an INCREDIBLE stay at Snooze! When we first checked in we met Matt who was so helpful the whole trip, he gave us great suggestions and was always on call when we needed him! In the office he had free beach chairs and offered towels, beach toys, and sunscreen - which was so helpful since we flew in from out of town and couldn’t bring a lot with us. The room was so cute and beachy, and very clean! Snooze was right across from the beach and within walking distance to so many great restaurants and bars, it was convenient and made it such a nice stay! We will absolutely be back to stay with Matt and the gang at Snooze again!!!

Staff was cool including Big Ron. Place is a little run down but rooms were clean. Awesome location and perfect place on the beach when in town a few nights for a wedding. Mattress needed replacement. Walking distance to The W Hotel so we bought a pool club pass after checking out to relax before our flight.

BUT...we love small motels that are quaint. It has a great rooftop deck and another deck on the second floor. It has beach towels, rafts, coolers, beach chairs, and a grill which are available for free. The manager is very accomadating and friendly!

Excellent: location, walkable, beach access, beach toys/chairs etc., upper sun deck, customer service. Snooze is historic but a well kept gem. Simple and comfortable.

We found it to be lovely, clean, well situated and good value for money!

Towels out back, however there was only one. Furniture in room is disgusting, dilapidated, with an assortment of stains. Some electrical outlets do not work. The absolute number one most repulsive thing was the curtain, I’m not sure if they found it in a road side dumpster or under a dead body? I paid $200 for an ocean view, I did in fact get a beautiful view. I could have had that on a park bench for free.

Great property great staff excellent value

This is a small hotel on the beach that has retained its charm. We were in the smallest accommodation which is basic but had a microwave and bar frig and a double dresser and large TV. There was also a safe. The shower was fine and the water not and plentiful. The location is unbeatable with the beach across the street. There are also two sitting, lounging areas one on the second floor over the entrance accessible anytime and the second on the rooftop closing by 7 pm. There is a small elevator to the rooms but we mainly used the stairs. There are 6 rooms on each of floor 2/3/4. We felt safe and secure in this location and there is limited parking right at the hotel for 10$ per day. There are some beach amenities such as chairs and towels. There are restaurants and bars close by. The larger rooms I believe have a table and some food prep areas. Book early!

Late night arrival for a cruise the next day, so not much to say. Room is nice and comfortable, and right next to a decent restaurant.

Our family of 4 absolutely loved the Snooze Hotel! They had everything we needed to make our stay comfortable. The beach is conveniently right across the street, and they allow guests to use towels, beach toys, chairs, sunscreen, etc. We stayed in a two king size bed room and the mattresses were super comfy. I would without hesitation recommend this hotel to others staying in the area, and would stay there again if I was ever in the Fort Lauderdale area.

This Hotel is so cute! The staff are wonderful! The RETRO style is inviting! The room we had was very large and comfortable. We will be staying here again when in Fort Lauderdale. Next door, the Casablanca Inn is great too. Great food and service! Both straight across the street from the beach.

This is an amazing beach front spot with a rooftop deck! From the moment Mannie greeted us at check in, everything was perfect! We had three rooms, all were beautifully appointed and clean! Super walkable area, the Casablanca restaurant next door is delicious! Beach chairs, toys, floaties are all available as is a tiny bar selection at the front desk! Best place we’ve found yet in FLL…already booked again in Feb!!!

Manny was great. Room was clean and location is very good. However the water in the shower was barely warm.

Everyone was so friendly and I was able to store my luggage until my flight. The place is so clean and bright and the rooftop is amazing! I plan to return with a few friends early next week. So grateful to know about Snooze. Literally right across from the beach and right next to a great Mediterranean place with fantastic service. I highly recommend this place!

Nice staff

Property manager was great. Allowed us to preregister early and hold our bags until our room was ready for check in. Which they had ready hours earlier than normal check in time.

What a great room. Fantastic ocean view from our very large room. Lots of dinning options close by.

Fantastic location , on the beach and close to good restaurants

The hotel manager was very knowledgeable about the area and what to do on the two days before we boarded our trip.

The rooftop terrace i a favorite place for a glass of wine people watch n joying tome with the wife in the cabana

Matt was very accommodating with holding our luggage until our room was ready. This allowed us to enjoy the beach and have lunch. There are towels, chairs and other beach stuff to borrow free of charge. Matt texted to advise our room was done early. Again very accommodating! The building was dated but the room was clean. Such a great value being just across the beach. Wonderful restaurant right next store too!

Staff was great. Room windows and blinds very dirty, water pressure in kitchen sink limited. Outlets look overloaded.

Quaint old hotel and definitely served the purpose of our precruise. Hotel staff checking and communications was EXCELLENT. Surrounding area was awesome as well.

Great value. Clean rooms with nice flooring and nice to have a mini fridge. Mattress was terrible and one of the lamps that lit the room suddenly stopped working.

The location is amazing, restaurants, coffee shop and bars within walking distance. The bed was not very comfortable, however the room itself was very clean and super cute! The staff at the front desk was not very friendly and was quite dismissive.

We had a fantastic stay at Snooze. The staff was friendly and helpful, our room was clean and exactly as described, and the location can’t be beat. We will be back!

We came early as our cruise ship,was early in port. Nick kindly allowed us to check in as soon as our room was ready. The hotel is very clean, built in a other era, but we were delighted to be here for the night. The housekeeping staff do an excellent job cleaning the rooms.

Rooms were clean, but bathroom was in dire need for repair. Ok for overnight stay only. Otherwise property is very dated.

Staff was amazing! Lots to do near by. Would highly recommend!

Could not recommend this place more!!! Everything was great, staff was wonderful and rooftop area was bonus we didn’t even know about. Location was very convenient and close to beach and restaurants. Will definitely stay again in the future.

It was a Hurricane and due to 3rd party reservation no refund. The General Manager Matt was very helpful and friendly.

This will be my go to Hotel !!!
