Check in was easy, however, the staff was rude. If you need towels or new sheets, I was told I would have to bring my dirty stuff to the front desk and they will do a swap - towel for towel etc. Our mattress was on the floor, it was a very rundown gross place. This is a long term stay place, not a weekend getaway. Will not stay here again, and do not recommend.

If you extend your stay for an additional day, you are required to pay an extra 50% deposit. Guests are also expected to take out their own trash and clean their beds themselves. No room service is provided. I was blocked from extending my stay for no clear reason. The front desk told me they would not recommend making a new online reservation because I was blocked from extending my stay in their system, and they may not honor a new reservation made through Expedia. Most of the staff were unfriendly, except for one red hair lady who was helpful and kind.

The rooms are spacious. Beds are comfortable but have the thinnest blankets. Layout of property is awkward; pavilion is only located on one side. Stairwells rancid and needs to be attended to more often. Trash cans over running with bags sitting on the floor. Carpet in hallways, which made it very stinky from 1st to 3rd floors. Sound was not an issue, even though property is located on freeway; but the walls are thin which made privacy an issue; especially with young kids. To say this is an extended stay hotel, privacy should be a main concern. You have to be there a whole 7 days before you can get service to rooms. You will be providing your own room service, changing beds and towels, which have to be taken to the front desk for exchange. Location is advantageous. No more than 45 minutes to get across town with bumper to bumper traffic.

The room had a full sized refrigerator with an ice maker, a microwave, a 2 space electric stove, a 2 slice toaster and a dishwasher. Be sure to check your kitchenette drawers for silverware, mine didn't have spoons. The staff was friendly during normal business hours. I had difficulty finding someone after hours, but when I did, they were helpful.

I had the displeasure of interacting with Zaria for both check ins. She was very unprofessional and rude. I wrote off the first interaction as her maybe having a bad day but her attitude was even worse the second time she assisted us with checking in. She set the tone for our stay both times and we won't be back. Customer service is NOT for her by any stretch... she needs to find something else to do for a living.

The room smelled very stale upon arriving. There was trash in the stairwells and no circulation of air so the smelled was bad. I stayed for 5 days and saw 1 roach thankfully and that was the only bugs we encountered. Aside from the smells and trash in the hallway, it wasn’t too bad.

The expressway is across the street and unfortunately the people who pander on the street end up sleeping in the hotel hallway. I was coming down the stairs and a man was passed out in the stairwell. The back door doesn’t close properly so anyone can walk through the door. My last couple of nights I didn't feel safe as a woman traveling alone. Other than that everything else was okay.

Room was ok, hallways always had a strong smell of Mediterranean food. Our room was facing the main road, heard traffic all night. Lots of long term guest hanging around. Was good for the price, probably will not stay there again. I didn't use the the laundry or gym but both looked well equipped.

When I went to check in I was told the room was not available even though I booked it on March 5, 2026! I had to find another room after a 9 hour drive. I was charged for a room that I was told was unavailable.

The room we were assigned was being fumigated with some chemical that caused us to have an allergic reaction and we had to leave immediately. They did refund our payments though

Room had no hand soap in bathroom had to go to front desk to request some - I have stayed at other sonesta properties have had the dish soap for the sink along with sponge and pod for dishwasher - no phone in the room- furnishing looked dirty and old stained lamp shade - and an odd smell not sure if cause had animals allowed but felt like a motel six trying to look better like a pig with some lipstick slapped on

The rooms are clean but I don’t know who ideal was it to put the trash on the stairs, but it has the whole stairway smelling bad to where you can’t walk down the stairs. I only stayed for two days. The front smelled awful. The stairs smelled awful everywhere smelled awful but the rooms.

I experience Force entry with a weapon by maintenance staff and Manager Alisha Camp involving a minor child. Along with Illegal Lockout and unlawful eviction. As a result my child and myself are suffering severe distress and housing instability.

The overall property was amazing. The front desk clerk Alicia was very horrible spiteful disrespectful and rude. My cousin left her id in her room and we couldn’t find the key so she asked the front desk clerk Alicia about getting another clerk she told her no without an id. So she asked if she could follow her upstairs to get her id she told her no she wasn’t doing it. My cousin had to proceed to call the police. We end up getting kicked out because we kept asking what is she suppose to do and was getting irritated. Alicia kicked us both out of our rooms. In my room I had my family with me including 2 young kids. Alicia kicked me and my kids out the hotel at 4:00 o’clock in the morning. I had to find a fast cheap room because we was 2 hours away from home. The next day another customer reached out and the manager said they could walk you up to get your id. Alicia refused to do that. Manager says the camera have audio so why did they not get the part where she kept asking Alicia to follow her to get her id in her room. Then Alicia proceeded to have another altercation with the following people that came in behind us.

They put us on the 3rd floor on the side that faces the highway. Worst experience.. we could not sleep! You could hear cars passing through the entire night. The room was clean and staff was nice.

Nothing First off, the staff at 12525 Greenville Ave(Dallas Texas)Sonesta location have very poor attitudes and should not be servicing the public. Specifically, a African American female(overweight with a long wig) that work the morning sshift at this location is a true disappointment and very unpleasant to be around for even 5 minutes. My primary complaint with this facility is as follows: we all know that this is the 21st century and a lot of these hotels have illegal hidden audio and spyware in the rooms. This specific location not only has this but the consumers(guests) somehow has access to these devices, which would allow them to watch other guests and live stream their activity to post on the dark web. Corrupt insurance companies like CORVEL CORPORATION of Tampa Florida( correction, they recently changed their name to 'CorVel The Enterprise') have locations in all 50 US states are the origin of illegal activity like this and many other illegal activities. There was one specific individual that was allowed to sit in his car(with headlights on) in the Sonesta parking lot(without be questioned) from 5pm to 3am or later DAILY. This individual is accessing this illegal spyware at this property and streaming it. The perpetrator drives a Grey Nissan Maxima with a Texas license plate #VSK5761

Very clean and updated. Very happy with the hotel and room. It did have a full kitchen. I did not use it just slept for a few hours and out the door. Also was very quiet. I could not hear any traffic like some hotels. I would definitely stay again.

I stayed 4 weeks and despite the fact they clean everyone else’s room, even the ones who stay there longevity, mine didn’t get that treatment and when I did go to ask for toiletries I was treated like I needed to report to a master at a group home or something. It was weird asf. The one staff member that pretty much works all the time is rude asf. Her energy is very off and she’s condescending, which I just blew off because miserable ppl will be exactly what they are apparently. Then when there’s certain ppl in the front she treats you normal. It’s weird asf but I’d rather let those kind of people have the day they deserve.

Upon arrival not clean, moldy dirty shower &jets, leaking bathroom sink, actual roaches (nothing to do with weather( roaches look the ones you see in the dirty homes of New York) outside building foundation structures coming apart, gate does not work to parking lot, front of building unable to ensure due to backhoe sitting directly in front of building (noticeable work being done). Driveway is unsafe and tore up. High traffic area for the Homeless people, who hang out in area.

I want to be really honest about this property. I’m so conflicted because on one hand, the property is dated, but they still maintain some aspects well. Pound for pound, the price is crazy reasonable. This is the cleanest smelling hotel I’ve ever stayed in. The rooms have some things that are sooooo dated. The fixtures in the bathroom are all rusted. The toilet seat, loose and moved around. The desk didn’t have a chair but the cuck chair worked. The room was very clean. The bed, not super comfortable. But, again, pound for pound it was a deal. The worst part was the place had a large homeless population right behind it. The milling around and begging was annoying and they have trashed it up. The highway noise is a factor but still a good deal!

The room was very nice, and clean. No smell of smoke. Although a very pet friendly location, the enviroment always can clean and smelt nice. Front desk was prompt and courteous. I would highly recommend this Sonesta. I've stayed in other Sonesta in the area. This one far and way is head and shoulders better in quality. Excellent management.

I had to stay in the hotel since the other option nearby was even worst and I had a full working week a schedule. I requested a compensation when I called the general manager phone line but they referred me to the property manager which she never responded well to any of my complaints. I need a compensation for all these issues that I experienced. I definitely will never choose or recommend this property for anyone to stay.

One mishap with front desk when I checked in. I was questioned about my service animal. I was questioned and withheld with proper documentation stating my pup is a service animal. The young front desk agent needs to properly make sure she properly reads documentation.

Won’t stay again

I was there for 4 days. It was a good stay but the property is old and run down. You don’t get your room cleaned daily. You get one set of towels and sheets for your whole stay. The reason it’s affordable is because of that.

Property’s staff and room service were good. However, because places like this allow everyone’s pets in the property, my room and I’m sure the hallway carpet as well is infested with flees. I had to go to Walmart to buy a bottle of flee spray to kill them and had to leave the window open for the smell to go. That didn’t do very well because there are so many fleas embedded in the carpet that I also went to the Goodwill and bought white sheets and put them all over the carpet floor in my room so I can see the fleas going on the white sheets to kill them more. Otherwise I couldn’t see the fleas on the black and brown carpet. My fridge also was like 15 years old never been updated. It was like they took the old refurbished refrigerator 15 years old and kept it in the room. I planned on staying a full 2 weeks but left the property and went somewhere else after 5 days. I won’t be coming back..

I greatly enjoyed the size and arrangement of my room. All of my things worked, though I overheard some other guests had trouble. Free laundry is amazing, even if a couple washers and dryers weren't working. I also appreciated the gym equipment, though not actually available 24/7.

Comfortable, good location

The hotel looked dilapidated and the elevator is not to code. The inspection is expired. The room smelled like mildew and mold. We cut our stay short because it made us sick and booked elsewhere. Wish I could take a picture of the smell, but that’s obviously not possible.

The property grounds were concerning as there were a few vandalisms that happened during my stay and I did end up checking out 2 to 3 days earlier related to that the property itself is clean. It was comfortable. The air freshener in the halls was a little bit over power in, but the room itself was OK for what it needed to do

Had to call corporate on the manager there went in my room. I didn't have a telephone. I didn't have a clock. She was very rude to me. I just didn't like to stay. I didn't like the staff. Everything was terrible.

The hotel staff accommodated my family after the room advertised differed from the one we got. Amazing room with little issues. The staff were polite and stood on business.

The room is advertised on Expedia and shows a square footage of 356 square feet. At most, the square footage is less than 200 square feet. This should be corrected as it gives a misleading impression. However, the layout of the room is fantastic. It's roughly a square configuration with a fabulous desk, kitchen, great bathroom, closet and the positioning of the TV are all top notch. Thank you.

This is probably an off chance of this happening but even maintenance was embarrassed by the status of my room. The floors were sticky and not mopped, there was a nebulizer to try and mask a musty smell from the spillage of the previous guest, a microwave that was possesed (broken) and would randomly go off and beep at 4am . The shower 🚿 would either only allow you to set to hot or cold , not "medium" temperature., there was also a tub that had a hole in it , and the drain was blocked to not even allow to fully "close" which prevented the shower and bath faucet to work at the same time which made for a poor pressure for the showerhead.

Perfect price for the location.

i paid my deposit and they said i’d get it back after my stay so i made sure to clean my whole room back up to get my deposit back and i never got it back. front desk staff was absolutely awfully rude. i would not recommend. this place was ghetto asf too. don’t look like the pictures they have posted. and our carpet in our room was wet for the full 3 nights we stayed there.

I like to use extended stay properties because (especially where no breakfast is served) I can prepare light meals in my room. When I checked in I asked if there was cookware in the room and was told that there was. There was not, so I had no means of preparing the food I purchased. I asked the desk if some could be located, and she said it would be brought up. Two days later, nothing. Also, the dishes in the room were dirty, not cleaned. When I left, I made sure all dishes had been washed in the dishwasher. Staff is just uncaring.

Bathtub was dirty so were the dishes. Surrounding area is under construction so noisy not easy to walk around if flying in with no car. Has majority connecting rooms.

Unfriendly staff! I was told by front desk clerk, Jeniene, my 2 week reservation has to be cancelled if not checked in by 2am.

Everything was fine, wish we had more time to spend here. We checked in late and had to leave early.

This property is well kept, and I like the fact I can cook, the only downfall is getting your room clean, room service is terrible, and I didn't like the fact you have a few homeless hanging around

Woke up to the smell of marijuana at 2:30am, I had to take my own towels downstairs to swap for clean ones, staff was not enthusiastic and attitude showed they were annoyed with questions, replaced bath towel with one that had holes and stains but ensured it was clean, no phone in my daughter’s room, no nightstand lamp in my room, remote in my daughter’s room didn’t work and I was told I had to reprogram it. Afterwards it still didn’t work.

Quite location, conveniently located near Krueger and Walmart store. Clean hotel. A little bit 90s but fairly priced, quite. Snacks and drinks are for sale. I didn't see a pool, but I noticed a nice size gym. I recommend it.

First night of stay my vehicle was stolen right off of the property. There is no CCTV of any kind outside of the building so they have no footage of the perpetrator or my vehicle leaving the property. The hotel provided zero help in the investigation.

The management was very rude to me when I asked for a refund and lectured me on "the proper protocol for cancelling the reservation as well as making racist assumptions about my political preference because of the marijuana smell. The manager literally stated "Although this is a republican state, marijuana is decriminalized and we can not control if it's smoked outside of the building". I'm a tattooed white woman from Seattle, I'm aware of marijuana and didn't need her "politics lesson" while she rubbed her lotion into her hands. The manager even made sure to educate me about how bad reviews of their property end up online, I think the management is the main issue, not my race or political preference. I chose to stay at this hotel to be able to recover from a spine surgery. I am so glad I changed my stay before I had the procedure! Do NOT stay here.

The hotel was clean but the day time worker is rude

Staff was very polite and met my needs at check in. Very happy with that. My rooms was good except there wasn't a hair dryer and the shampoo smelled old and very orange. I was a bit concerned my vehicle would get broken into considering the area. My bed was comfy and the room temperature was great.

Stay was pleasant, 6 nights there, didn't have a single issue with anything. check in was a little lengthy, but was told that the system was down and that reservations were a little wacky, so we got a complimentary upgrade which was nice, check out was quick and easy, no weird smells or anything. overall 10/10 stay for my girlfriend and i.

Lots of things broken or out of order here to. There is no FRONT STORE either so if you forget something, you are out of luck

It was ok for the price but if you want quality or updated facilities, stay somewhere else. They were ok across the board. Overall meh. We were passing through the area and needed a cheap place to stay.

The toilet was constantly running, the design of the shower meant water was constant over flowing to the floor. The pillows had stains on them, the design of the unit made it hard to move around. Finally the staff felt like they didn’t want to be there, no real help, almost like they couldn’t be bothered to assist, the altitude is terrible, we felt like discriminated. Overall I am requesting a refund for one night at the very least.

trash everywhere. The first room we had we didn’t know there were homeless folks living outside. Once we turned the air on it smelled of urination. We left and came back and there were homeless sitting out and a rock in the hotel door I guess so they could go in and out. I felt unsafe at that moment. The office didn’t want to do anything about this. They wanted to move us again and we declined due to being moved once already. We will never go back to this location. I feel as though we should be reimbursed for this stay.

This is our 2nd stay at this hotel, and I don't think we will be coming back. The service of the front desk is horrible, and it was like that the 1st time. I came back because I love the room, but the service of the front desk and the cleanliness is so terrible, I would like to try a different hotel. I will say it is good to stay at if you want to stay for a night or two for the price, but that's it

We are extremely happy with our choice to stay at Sonesta Simply Suites Dallas Richardson. From the moment we arrived, we were warmly welcomed by a wonderful front desk employee who was both kind and incredibly helpful. Knowing we have another stay booked next week for my upcoming procedure gives me a great sense of comfort. The room was clean, modern, and well-maintained. Overall, we couldn’t be more pleased with our experience!
