The property was not landscaped the grass was overgrown grown, the pool was out of order no breakfast was served during my 3-day stay which is the reason I booked the room ,furniture was old and stained in the room so much I asked for extra sheets to cover the sofa so my children could sit down on it. The young man at check-in was very helpful and professional.

Was not made aware that the pool was not going to be open or that breakfast was not being served. There was a sign that said we could cancel our stay but what was I going to do pay double for booking at the last minute? It cost me an extra $60-$80 to for breakfast & was not offered a discount. The hotel was not as nice or clean as my previous stay. The ice machines were out of order, there was no vending machines, and front counter didn't have any snack or drinks in their cooler. Would not reccomend or stay at this facility again.

The service was slow. But the staff was nice. Everything was horrible. The service was slow. No one at the front desk when we arrived. Check-in took way longer than necessary. The area was industrial looking, not the best but not horrible either. Hotel overall was not well kept. Pool was out of service. Was told that they were not offering complimentary breakfast, which I do not mind since we usually don't get it anyway. Our huge issue was that our door didn't automatically lock when closed. We were heading out to dinner when we noticed this. I didn't notice but my husband did. He said you should hear the automatic lock click into place when the door closes. Without the key, I pushed the door to the room and it opened. We tried pulling it shut multiple times and waiting 20 seconds to see if it will automatically lock on its own. But that didn't work, the door would still open without a key card. So we grabbed all of our stuff and went back downstairs. Told the front staff that the door didn't automatically lock when closed. Staff told us that they will look at another room for us. They found us another room with a door that would lock but the hinge on the doors were broken. At that point we didn't want to stay anymore. Asked for a refund, which the staff was more than willing to oblige. For which we are grateful. But we would not recommend this place at all if you are in the DFW area. We ended up further north in the Plano area and loved it there.

There was no AC, the phones didn't work, the pool was closed until further notice, the staff tried to charge me twice and the whole thing was very unprofessional. We drove in late and had nowhere else to go but thos was the worst hotel stay ever. The pictures are extremely false. Then they had the nerve to go up on their rates.

They say free breakfast but they didnt have any, when asked they said "we're not doing that right now". They have a pool but its out pf service for maintenance. The first room thermostat read 83°, tried turning on ac but my ac was out and door was off hinges, had to lift it so it'd close all the way. Moved to another room, the tub had a dent in the middle and water didnt get hot. Luke warm water like for a infants bath. The toilet kept over flowing. Worst experience ever, the staff was not friendly and was very nonchalant when expressing disappointment in the stay. They couldnt pay me to stay at another Homewood Suites

This is the ghetto! Homeless people outside, roaches, they do not have breakfast. I would assume it’s because of the roaches. I traveled from Missouri and needed to stay one night. Upon arrival I knew it was going to be bad. Waited over 20 mins to be checked in. After I was finally greeted, I was checked in and told that they didn’t provide breakfast, although that was one of the amenities listed when I booked.I travel with children so I typically book hotels with breakfast. After being irritated I just said whatever it’s one night I’ll just suck it up! Me and my kids get to the room and I kid you not we weren’t even all the way in the room and we saw roaches!!! I requested a refund which I have yet to receive. I left the hotel totally disgusted… This is not a vacation hotel nor family friendly at all.. DO NOT BOOK!!!!

When I arrived at the hotel on Sunday evening at 10:45PM, the shift had apparently just left, leaving a sign saying “We’ll be back (emphasis added) in 15 minutes.” When the young lady for the next shift arrived a little after 11:00PM, she asked how long I had been there — I told her 15 minutes. It then took time for her to sign into the system (in fact, she had to call someone for the password — I assume this was because the prior shift had signed out, rather than handshaking it over to the next shift). In total, it was about 30 minutes from the time I arrived until I had my card key in hand. The hallways reeked of weed, on the ground floor, as well as on the third floor where my room (room 333) was. The water pressure was terrible. There was what appeared to be pubic hair on the floor of my shower — certainly insufficiently cleaned. What I assume to be the anti-slip surface on the floor of the shower looked to be crumbling. On Monday evening, the temperature in my room was 78°, and the air conditioner was not touching it (even though I turned it down to 64°)! I had to open the windows to get relief. And, perhaps worst of all, there was no complimentary breakfast. This was verified by a colleague who was also staying there. I point out that both the Hotels.com AND the Hilton website say that there is a complimentary breakfast.

The safety door locks were both broken, so we used a chair to block the door. The bathtub faucet leaked and caused the water flow to be diminished, no breakfast was served as advertised as an amenity, ice machine was broken, no luggage carrier available, there was a homeless person entering the hotel and then hanging outside by the side doors, unsavory people were working in the parking lot on a vehicle that had a tarp tied with a rope over the driver side window. This is not the Hilton quality that I expect.

No wash clothes in room. Went to get more and was told there was no more so she had to get them out of empty rooms. Remote didn’t work. Place was dirty with mixed matches light bulbs. Had to walk past two huge pit bulls in the hallway. This was horrible. I wouldn’t stay again for free. Don’t stay here if you can afford ANYTHING else. I am so disappointed to see the Hilton name associated with this mess.

Location When I arrived they didn't have internet so the front desk lady couldn't check me in. Me and other three people waited in the lobby for about an hour in the cold weather bc the front door was open bc it couldn't close. When finally she assigned me a room I couldn't sleep there because the whole hall stank at marijuana so I asked to be moved. They assigned me to another room in first floor. They couldn't give a key because they still didn't have internet to make one. On the second day in the morning I left to do my business, when I returned to the hotel at night the second night finally there was internet and they gave me 2 keys to my room 121 when I was in bed I noticed the bed sheets had black stains in them. I took a picture with Google and it turns out it was mold!! No wonder why I was having an allergic reaction the night before and that night. I went to the front desk and asked for clean bedsheets and a comforter because the room was very cold. I showed the person the black stain on the sheets and he gave me clean ones but no comforter. Although the heat was blowing the room was cold. The 3rd night none of the 2 room keys worked so I went to the front desk to ask why but nobody was there. But there was handwritten piece of paper that said "call to this number if you need assistance" So I called and a man answered he said "I'll be downstairs in a minute." he came to the front desk in pajamas with his daughter (approx. 10 year-old) I know this bc she called him "dad" and he was talking on his cellphone with his boss because he was asking him for the password of the front desk computer that was not working. But bc it was late at night I asked him to just let me in in my room. So he asked the man on the phone where was the key to open the rooms. Finally he let me get in my room. My room was never clean in the 3 nights I stayed; nor were breakfast available.

It’s like this place is waiting to be torn down and they don’t want to spend money. Two things we were counting on, hot tub and a breakfast , neither happened and no compensation offered.

The room and staff are excellent. But my car was broke and I had to get road side assistance and I had to finally check in 7hours late almostissed check in time. After driving in the dark and rush hour, which I planned my trip around, but because the car, they switched me for. I originally book a sports car three months in advance. And they gave me an electric car not even charged up. Well on the spot and ola very tight time schedule,I was stuck with what they gave me. And it's been a disaster. But my room is great, too bad I didn't get to experience it and all it's amenities. This opportunity was a very rare chance and the car ruined it

I booked this hotel 5 months in advance, when we arrived I was told that there was no room available for us and just because we made reservations doesn't mean it guarantees us a room until we get there! DO NOT STAY HERE!!!!

The staff was great. But the condition of the place looked more like lipstick on a pig. The floors felt soft like the subfloor was weak in spots and unlevel. The dishwasher wasn't screwed in and secured so it kept moving forward when in use. There is an attempt at an update but looks half done. The floors in the kitchen may be unlevel the kitchen counters are barely touching the cabinets and has a bunch of spray foam to hold it together. You can see this from sitting at the couch which sinks in badly in the middle. No extra bedding for sofa bed was in the room. Could hear every single footstep from room above. the drain plug is missing in the shower and the faucet leaks so you hear that in the middle of the night unless you shut the door. could not find any mats for getting out of tub/shower. the cold faucet leaked when on in the bathroom sink. The transition between carpet and tile in main living area was starting to fray and of course the baby kept pulling at it. For the price comparable to other hotels in the area the upkeep should be better. I chose this one since I have a baby travelling with me and needed the kitchen area and extra room for the baby to play.

I liked the location, did not use the pool. The hotel did not provide breakfast and did not provide a substitute. The hotel was clean but liked maintenance, hallway was clean but had a mild drew smell. room door would no close without pushing on the top side of the door, bottom of cooking pan was peeling, air vent needed to be cleaned. I have stayed at another Homewood Suite and this was not a problem.

The location not to far from downtown There needs to be minor updates such as changing the shower heads. Additionally the 3rd floor was extremely hot like no AC was running on that floor. Additionally my room was extremely hot like the room would rise to 80 degrees while it was set on 72 i told the front desk they said they would have someone fix it or change my room but no changes probably won’t stay again.

Do Not stay here, 82 deg in hallways, etc, smelled like cigarettes, filthy rooms, doors wouldn't shut without being shoved . The outside looked just as bad, and lots of vagrants, we checked in, and after seeing room, well 2nd room, (we had asked to be moved), but it was in same condition, we gave the keys back and found a different hotel. We are currently trying to get room refunded. The gentlemen at the desk knew how bad it was and told us to request the refund. He would have given it to us, but we went through a 3rd party, so he said he couldn't. If you want to stay here, do yourself a favor and go there first before you make the reservation. So you can see first hand what your getting into.

We stayed 3 nights and did not have a single housekeeping visit to make up room. When a request was made for anything to staff, met with looks, silence, and begrudging service. Booked specifically for a jacuzzi option, and of course, there is a sign up it is not working which looks permanent. How long does it take to make a service call? False advertising. Breakfast bar very spotty. Weird tasting egg like fake egg, and bacon and sausage also not tasting right. Waffle maker came out one day out of four we were there. Toaster in buffet had a note on it that toast had to be manually checked and taken out by guest as it was not working properly. Smell of burnt toast every morning. How expensive is it to replace a toaster EVERYONE uses as a guest. There was a toaster in our room for goodness sake. SWAP IT OUT. Coffee in lobby for guest breakfast was empty every morning but one. Took forever to get it filled. Why are guests having to ask for the BASICS. No staff was attending the breakfast area at all. Hit or miss selections, okay on weekend, very poor during week. 3 kinds of bread for toast (to be burned), bagels only one day despite having out cream cheese. Waffle maker one day, no waffle batter to be found and have to find staff and ask for some. One tiny trash can found in entire suite, bedroom and kitchen/sitting room. No hairdryer. One bar of soap--for 3 nights! It sits on a noisy access road in a very high construction area. Staff at desk were friendly. No excuse for price.

The hotel needs some updates. My suite had a lot of wear and tear. The carpet had stains and was unraveling. The curtains were torn. The pullout couch had pet hair on it and the mattress appeared to have a blood or poop stain on it. I had to pay for my stay at the hotel counter, even though I had paid on Hotels.com prior to checking in. I was issued a refund, but it takes days to post to my account, so this alone ruined my trip. They also ran out of syrup at the hotel so there was no syrup for the waffles. I came down for coffee at 9 AM and it was all gone. I was not impressed and really wanted to go to another hotel but because I was charged twice for my stay and was waiting for a refund I didn’t have the money to do so.

The second floor had a weird smell coming out of the elevator. Breakfast and the appetizers in the evening was good. No air first night, didn't get room advertised. The reason for trio was a family bonding. We had to move from two bedrooms suite to two separate rooms because of the air. Water leaking from ceiling in ktcgen. No face towels. We didn't because continental so called breakfast was a joke. Was charged more than quoted.

This hot tub didn’t work, even though when I called booking I was told it was open. Funny smell in room. Rip in couch. The sign out front was the biggest indicator as soon as we drove up, totally ripped and falling apart. The lady at front desk was super sweet though. I will not stay here again

Just to get to the room, there were some pretty foul smells in the hallways. Whether that was due to someone's inability to cook, lack of cleaning and so forth, it was present in the hallway for my entire stay. Secondly...I open my hotel door and first thing I receive is a strong smell of weed. It was so bad that I told the hotel staff, and they promised to send a staff member at 11:00 P.M. Well, 11:00 P.M. comes and no shows up. I go down at 11:30 P.M., and the new staff member is surprised that there was a weed smell. She proceeds to give me a can of half empty disinfectant, and it did nothing to change the smell. So I opened all the windows, and after a day, the smell cleared. At best, this hotel is an average stay with comfort and quality. Cleanliness is clearly not the top priority. I recommend finding another place before this one.

Wasn’t the Hilton finest stay. I chose this place because I had 4 little children and I wanted the convenience of having breakfast being on a travel budget I had to wake up and prepare the children to go out for breakfast costing $ 90 extra bucks then continue driving. Unfortunately the kitchen endured an issue and not even cereal or bagels were provided.

Hot breakfast available, though nothing fancy. Gym is available, although I've never seen anyone use it. The pool was closed. Suites are large, with kitchens, flat screen tvs, large bed, and good bathroom. Recommended for singles and families.

We booked our room to enjoy time with friends who came to stay with us. We had booked a double suite but upon arrival were informed they had over booked and offered us two individual suites instead at no additional charge. Friends had to switch their room as it stunk and our room should have also been switched out because the top hinge on the door was broken and you needed to lift the door vib an angle to close. Both nights of our stay I was woken up with dog owners yelling at their dogs to come back - they owners were guest as I saw them at breakfast the next morning. Breakfast and rooms were great. 3 days later we discovered on credit card had been charged for both nights, at full price with two different hotel names in bill. Cancelled card and then discovered that the hotel used two different names in their billing. Still disputing the charges for the second night. Otherwise it would have been a great visit. I did suggest when leaving the supply a dog run away from where guest are staying.

There are stains everywhere you look: on the walls, on the ceiling, on the bedding. The breakfast was very minimal and cold every morning, and the fellow renters are something to watch for the show and your security. It seemed like 8 out of 10 other patrons staying at this hotel appeared to be recovering addicts or current users. This is in the top 10 of my worst hotels that I have stayed in. I have spent about 15 years combined in hotels traveling for the film industry.

Homewood Suites is extremely convenient to both 635 and Hwy 75, which additionally makes it easy and quick to get to neighboring cities and downtown Dallas. For the relatively low fee, the guest gets a large suite including a full kitchen, separate bedroom and living room, large bathroom, and good closet space. Even though my room was around the corner from the pool and gym, I didn't hear any noise unless I walked past those areas. Breakfast is hot and standard - nothing fancy.

My biggest negative takaway was that the hot tub wasn't hot. Apparently it was just an oversite, but I wasn't able to enjoy that part of my stay. Overall, my experience was positive, with a friendly staff and good food. The hotel definetly needs more attention to maintenance on little things, missing screws and whatnot, but it was clean. I'd stay here again. The price is right for the level of accomidation.

Welcomed in by friendly staff. Got to our room and it was extremely hot. After lowering the ac down it took a few hours to get comfortable. The double bedroom was very spacious for my family. The beds was sloped down towards the feet and buckled in the middle and needing to be replaced and some replacing of some items would have been nice. What looked like blood on a lamp shade and wall wasn’t pleasant to see. Shower tub was hard to stand in due to the floor being a bowl shape not flat.

The staff had a walk out the day I came. The room was suppose to be ready at 3 but wasn’t until 5:30. The room stunk as soon as we got in from the kitchen sink. The pull out couch was torn and you could see the stuffing coming out. You could feel every spring. They did not provide linens for the pull out so they brought some up. The pillow smelled so disgusting I could not put my head in it. The towels were yellowish. The bathtub curtains were torn. The bed has a dip in the middle. We saw two roaches in our room. The breakfast was not great. It is located not in a good part of town. I saw a lot of homeless in the area. The only good think I can say was parking is free.

We had a HORRIBLE stay at this location. I kept going back and forth on whether or not I would make this review but decided I should because everyone needs to be wary of this hotel. My husband, mother in law and our kids stayed at this location over memorial day weekend. We checked in and quickly head out for dinner. After dinner my husband and I decided to go out on our own and left our kids with my MIL. We noticed the door had issues with the lock working but you still needed a key to enter the room so we told my MIL to use the latch. We stayed out for approximately 2 hrs and decided to come home early. We went to bed soon after coming home and put the door latch back on. At around 12am my MIL heard someone putting a key into the door and quickly grabbed my husband. My husband stood at the door and saw what appeared to be a male standing at the door. The latch stopped him from entering all the way through but his key worked. My husband asked him what he was doing and he said oh my bad and quickly left. I went to talk to the manager, a hispanic woman. Her excuse was that she instructed an employee to enter our room for a maintenance issue happening in another room...supposedly a leak. It sounded like straight BS because if it was a leak...why couldnt you call and ask...why couldnt you at least announce yourself...why would you send someone to a room you know is occupied at 12am to enter the room with a key. It made no sense. And when my husband confronted them they ran away.

The state of the room was shocking. Multiple Stains on the couch, a bag tied over the smoke detector (??), metal pieces sticking out if the bed that I banged my shin on and one of our children scraped his leg on (drawing blood), light in the bathroom doesn’t work (housekeeping didn’t notice this?), and a door very oddly bent, missing trash can in kitchen area. The temperature in the hallways was 88 degrees. All of this is not what we expect from a Hilton property. Very disappointing. On the other hand, dinner was great and glad to finally be at a property on a Wednesday to take advantage of it. Worst move by Hilton to take away dinner reception and lower the value of the stay at homewood suites.

The check in process was extremely chaotic, 3 hour delay after check in time and the staff did not seem to know which rooms had guests in them. The room itself had stains on the carpet and curtains, it reeked of pot and had a plastic bag over the smoke detector. The hallways had damage to the walls all over the place.

Nice property. Clean rooms. Breakfast wasn't that great but still good.

do not book this place. We had to plunge our own toilet when it was clogged when we checked in. There is what appears to be feces spattered on the bathroom wall and ceiling. Dead cockroach. Dirty dishes from prior guests in the kitchenette dishwasher. Homeless camp across the parking lot.

Homeless camp outside the hotel, the employee at the desk was rude, they tried charging me over 300.00 more for my prepaid trip at check in. Pool wasnt working. The rude lady at the check in desk was a blessing in disguise. I ended up cancelling and going to a much nicer hotel in a better area. My kids had a great time, and we were in a safe area at the new hotel with polite staff. Dont come here.

When I checked in the front desk lady tried to charge me again for the room I had pre paid for. The pool and spa were closed. The side door was stuck so we went out the emergency exit and an employee got mad at us. There was no way to exit the building through the other door. The sofa bed was old. The cushions were torn and damaged. The mattress was thin and uncomfortable. The king size bed was nice and the restroom was clean.

Hotel is newer and appears well kept in the main areas. Negatives - Was made to wait an hour to check in because short-staffed and rooms were not cleaned. There was a water leak in the hallway on the first floor. Couch cushions of sofa torn on several sides. Staff was not friendly. Waited for over 10 minutes for staff to help at front desk because they were outside in their car. Homeless people constantly crossing through parking lot. Smelled Marijuana on the first floor. Back stairs smelled of urine.

The lady at the front desk Olga was very helpful and friendly. She was the only one here doing it by herself. I really appreciate her hard work.
