The room was absolutely clean and spacious. The bed was comfy. The staff was super nice .the parking fee is reallly excessive.

The food is crappy just like at any other hotel that provides free breakfast. Same plastic eggs and waffles...

Let me say that we stayed 5 nights and the staff was nice and the rooms were clean. But there were a few inconveniences. The plug by the bed was covered by a headboard screwed to the wall, making it unusable. The wall tv was gone and a small tv was brought in and sitting on the desk. The breakfast was subpar and the coffee terrible. They didn’t even have whole milk and the bananas were too brown. When we tried eating that first morning, we saw two people off the street come in…one got coffee and then another one got a plate full of food. We opted to go out from that morning on. The entry, awning, and interior halls were being remodeled, great for them, but not mentioned when booking and was loud and inconvenient. The location was also questionable. We did not venture out at night. One night someone’s car alarm was going off for over 30 minutes which made us wonder if someone had tried to break in it. There was another car in the parking lot with a busted bumper, but by the next night the hood had been ripped off and was laying by the car and parts had been taken from the engine area. By the third night someone put a tarp over the whole car.

Construction was going on during our stay. We had to go arrive workers both in and outside the property. We were not advised about construction prior to check in. . We had to be moved rooms due to ac issues. Keys had to be reprogrammed a few times. Ice machine was broken our entire stay. When we asked the front desk for extra coffee for our room they said they had none.

I will never book at this location. They refused to refund my cancellation fee when the reason for my cancellation was due to the indoor pool being out of service due to renovations. The manager stated that booking.com should be responsible for that problem and unfortunately after several attempts to speak to a representative and emails sent nobody has reached out to me. New beds were amazing! Woke up with no back pain! Roaches. Also we had a family emergency which is what put us in that location to get a motel when we finally got through at the hospital and arrived at our hotel. It was past midnight and I was told that I had to wait until 4 AM to check in if I didn’t want that date account that they would not let me switch days.

Nothing at all when we first got there they had my reservation but would not let me get into my room because they saying it was an issue with paying through booking There was not anything to like about it. My door to my room would not lock. The pool was out of service and it didn’t say that online before I booked the room or I would not have booked it. The breakfast was OK, but not good enough to stay another day.

It ended up being an ok stay (at best). The hotel didn’t initially didn’t have our reservation info from hotels.com even though we had paper copies and emails. They made us make phone calls and figure things out on our end which was a hassle. The hotel is under construction due to an immediate need for updates and repairs. This is fine except for the fact that this was not indicated or notated anywhere on the website or hotel description. And when I thought I’d sit in the hot tub to relax, I found that the pool area is empty and not accessible. Our room had a one foot square hole in the carpet which, I’m assuming, will be changed out when the rooms are updated. We walked out of our room this AM to an inch of water outside our door in the hallway carpet. Not sure what that was due to… Several co-workers in another room had to pour out water into the toilet for it to flush. And this was after they were relocated to a room due to the ac not working in the first room. Overall, I wouldn’t recommend this place. At the very least, check up and see if the construction is completed before arriving

Old property, Photos on the website different from reality, Dirty comforter and shower curtain with blood stains (I had to ask to change it), window wouldn't lock. Twice I had to unclog the toilet myself, as it clogged very easily. Very expensive daily rate for the condition of the hotel and what it offers.

Todo muy bien con la locación pero en cuestiones de limpieza terrible , cabellos por todos lados los baños no los limpian bien , la alberca el agua súper sucia , muy mala experiencia en cuestiones de eso, los de servicio muy atentos pero para mí el edificio no luce como las fotos , las fotos quién sabe de cuándo sea 😒

The pool was not clean . The weekends are usually the busiest time where people want to relax, and they were barely cleaning it with chemicals. So we could not get in.

Neither of which was disclosed on the website. Based on the shabbiness of the surroundings, we can't imagine why they would require an $80.00 deposit and $3.00 parking fee. We have stayed in resorts that didn't ask for a deposit. The help seemed confused about what rooms they had ready and evidently, there were not many rooms cleaned when we tried to check in. We saw housekeeping cleaning rooms after 5:00 pm. The morning of check out the housekeeper just opened our door at 9:30 am without even knocking. The lampshade had stains all over it and the phone had red smudges on it. There was also the most foul odor coming from the 'breakfast area' when we checked out. It smelled like rotten eggs and worse. The help just laughed about it. The elevator was filthy and the push button panel was detaching from the wall and appeared bent.

It was good right off highway but that’s pretty much all the good I can say The place was littered with construction stuff it felt like we were going to get robbed the indoor pool was like 3 foot deep and cool the breakfast was awesome but 9 dollars for an ice cream is insane

My bathroom floor felt like it was about to sink in at anytime and had cracked tile. The tub did not look like it had been cleaned or was holding scum. To their credit, they are remodeling floor by floor. Either way, this will be a no for me in the future.

Im currently going through trying to get a refund for a reservation that was canceled Only within hours of it being made.

The Staff was very nice! Bugs, insects, roaches—whatever word is needed. There were 2 baby roaches in my room, and 1 silverfish in the bathroom. I hasn’t even gotten through my first night before I packed up and ended my stay. Everything else was mid but those bugs are enough for me to say save your money.

This place was wonderful. The room was clean. Staff was friendly. The pool was clean and nice. The breakfast was soooooo good and fresh. There were plenty of options to choose from. Only thing I didn't like was I had to leave. Vacation was not long enough.

The only downside is the freeway construction. Rooms are always clean, comfortable and quiet. Our favorite stay in Dallas.

The staff was helpful and the location was great . The breakfast was great too Light fixtures were not working in the room and the bathroom. The night stand light kept tripping and the bathroom light wouldn’t turn on. The toilet kept getting stopped up. We needed a plunger and had to keep going to the front to request. The gym was really warm and no fan. Rat dropping near the ice machine on the first floor.

Shoes marks on floor in bathroom, toilet did not appear to be cleaned well, marks on it, urine droplets. Shower dirty, soap holder dirty. Specs of white spray on handles in bathroom, looked like recent spray on ceiling to cover up mold. Comforter with dried orange goo.

The breakfast was the highlight but the hotel is falling apart and definitely rundown for a Marriott brand hotel. The pool was decent and heated so we did enjoy that. Beds were comfortable. Hotel was definitely rundown and falling apart and ceiling in our bathroom had mold growing and floor of tub felt like it was going to collapse to the floor below and toilet seat moved when you sat on it. I was also double charged for the room, I had already paid through Booking/Klarna to get the best deal but then hotel made me pay a deposit of $200 and then another for $80 for incidentals since we were paying by debit card for room.. After we got back and everything started clearing the bank, instead of getting those costs back like I was told would happen, I was charged fully for the 2 nights and still have not gotten my $80 back..

My family heard someone having adult time while we were walking in the hallway. The swimming pool water had a fecal smell to it. We were only in it for about 15 minutes then decided we should probably get out due to the smell. We did like the staff, the breakfast was great and it was a convenient place to stay.

It had a bad smell like humidity, mold cant really tell what it was. The bed sheets kept coming off and finally gave up during the night. The bed squeaked with every move and it was so annoying. The lighting is so bad and one of the lamps did not even work.

The staff was very polite. The only concern that I had with the homeless and the people gathering in the parking lot drinking in the evening. My girlfriends did not feel safe walking from their cars to the hotel.

Overall the Hotel was okay, typical Fairfield Inn. A little noise my because of Hwy next to it and major construction on same highway. But this may get better after construction. However my worries is that the surrounding are did not look good. I did not have issues but I would not walk too much outside at night. Like many places now a days lots of homeless that look like addicks out in these area.

First front desk agent was rude. Room smelled musty like mildew. No ice bucket. Fridge ice section frozen over and top plate dislodged and reducing the space to place items on the top shelf. Was not informed of the $3.00 per day parking lot charge.

There are two minor drawbacks that need improvement: I observed two or three customers unable to access their rooms due to malfunctioning room keys. Additionally, the metal L-shaped brackets securing the mattresses have sharp edges, and I got cut when getting out of bed!

Property was very dirty with damages everywhere in the hotel. The shower head didnt work properly and there were left over trash and other items lying around from whomever stayed there before. The sheets were also not clean.

It is a very old property and did not feel like I was at a Marriott at all. Carpets were dirty, bathroom tiles cracked. The discounted price is not worth what you are getting. Felt like a really cheap hotel and not a discounted Marriott price.

Was in town for a football game the hotel was nice enough but the area was very sketchy lot of homeless people and vagrants around the hotel. There were 3 hotels together and looked like a lot of illegal activity's going on I would not stay there again. I was carrying a hand gun so was not scared but seen security make several people leave the property so not a safe area for a family stay.

This hotel is a subpar Marriott hotel in desperate need of an update. We witnessed a shouting match between a custodian and a customer in the breakfast room this morning. The custodian was vacuuming at 9:00 am before we were done eating. The patron complained to him. Never seen such rudeness.

This hotel is a subpar Marriott hotel in desperate need of an update. We witnessed a shouting match between a custodian and a customer in the breakfast room this morning. The custodian was vacuuming at 9:00 am before we were done eating. The patron complained to him. Never seen such rudeness.

Old run down , the heated pool was cold , elevator was scary , not recommended . We even had to pay for parking and park in very back and walk in o front to get in

Looks like some maintenance and updating might be needed. First room door wouldn't open. Hotel overall is a little drab and just "feels old". Staff was great, room itself was clean

I didnt like all the construction that was there but that is of no fault of the hotel. The staff was amazing and really helpful. I loved the 2 ladies that checked us in on friday evening (08/11/23)they are super amazing and patient and answered all of our questions. And trust me, we had alot of em. Thank yall for the wonderful stay!!

It was a great place tho stay. Clean comfortable rooms and very comfortable beds. Had a good breakfast with a good variety to choose from.

The room smelled like cigarettes even though our room was a no smoking room. There was a roach in the room. Shower kept getting clogged.

It’s a much older hotel. Pool was closed longer than they stated (2days). Room was clean but AC left a weird smell. Rooms are small. Elevator is rough and there’s only 1, so lots of waiting.

Once I got there the booking had been canceled and needed reserve the room afresh but now could only reserve for the next day. Reserved and went about my business when I showed up the next day around 8p found a long lineof customers. The hotel had been overbooked and had no available rooms we were all told we would have to find another location.

Check-in took about 45 minutes. The guest in front of me was checking in a group of school children with several rooms, and there was a second computer there which could have been used by the other clerk to check me in in about 5 minutes. It was frustrating. Construction makes it a little challenging to get to from the highway, but fortunately there are several ways into the parking lot from side streets and other businesses.

The staff could not have been nicer. The front desk workers, cleaning staff and the breakfast crew really made you feel welcome. Kinda nice to see the hospitality business model at play! Would highly recommend.

It was VERY difficult to find the right street leading to the hotel. Road closures made it extremely difficult to get to the hotel especially at night. I tried calling the hotel to make sure that I had the correct address and the phone was busy for hours!!! I kept trying and it was stressful. They never confirmed the address. To top it off the smoke alarm went off VERY EARLY in the morning. The alarm set off the WHOLE hotel system. The front desk stated that it was due to cooking.

Well below Marriott standards if this hotel has any! Worst hotel experience.

We really enjoyed the stay. The manager and the staff are extremely cordial and helpful and make sure that we were comfortable. We will recommend our family and friends without any hesitation

ThomasPoole here was not please cause I didn’t get a chance to stay because of a breakdown on my vehicle then call to cancel my room & ((service was not listening )) when I was telling him I was trying to cancel but just say it very wrong to try to ask people for something & it come to a dispute over Nothing about them receiving money out my account & I haven’t stayed at their Hotel

The staff was friendly. I have stayed here in the past . I did notice a lot of homeless people roaming around. I couldn’t go on any walks during the day, because of homeless all over the area , making it very unsafe . On September 10, 2022, my front license plates were stolen over night . I had to call the police and make a report . I was surprised that the security guard didn’t see anything. The front desk personnel were supportive but didn’t offer any time of compensation due to the time I wasted on the phone with the police while making a police report . I would have expected some type of compensation, I had to drive back to Houston and order some new tags . I am sad to see that the area has gone down hill . I would not be staying there anymore . Bad security, trash all over the parking lots, homeless people hanging around. Please be safe if you do decide to stay there . I caught a homeless person hiding behind a bush , it seemed like he was watching me . I would not be making this up . Please be safe .
