The Lorenzo Hotel is a unique and artsy hotel with a vibrant atmosphere, appreciated by many guests. However, some guests have expressed concerns about the noise from the nearby highway and issues with hot water in the showers.

Been a guest several times and it’s consistently a great stay. Eclectic rooms that aren’t over done… just a great stay!

This was such a fun hotel. Great find for a short stay! Loved the decor
- 5/5
Clean room.
- 5/5
Hotel was adorable and very kept up with. The only complaint is the highway noise. But that’s my own fault for not thinking about being next to a hotel.
- 5/5
Great property in proximity to everywhere we wanted to go during our stay. There is quite a bit of construction happening in the vicinity to be aware of.
- 5/5

Room was comfy and very nicely designed! Staff was super friendly and breakfast was superb would definitely recommend this hotel and will look forward to staying here in the future again!

We loved this hotel for a weekend getaway staycation. The room was cozy, bed was like sleeping on a cloud and the overall vibe of the hotel was very cool & the pool had a great deep house dj playing on Saturday when we arrived. My only complaint was the elevators were super slow and seemed like they could use an upgrade soon. Would recommend and stay again though when in DFW.

Location is a little sketchy but other wise a great stay!

At the time of my trip, there was a lot of construction right outside the hotel. Staff is super friendly and super helpful. Room was very clean. Breakfast was complimentary and delicious. However, the room I stayed in had the headboard on the wall closest to the highway. I figured it wouldn’t be that bad but I barely slept due to highway noise. The hotel itself is great, the location is not the best.

Cons: Taco Enzo is closed yet still advertised. We were told it might open again in a couple of months. "Pool party" on Saturday is a joke. DJ showed up 2.5 hours late. Advertised as "adults only pool party" but kids were in the pool all day. If you are looking for a party look elsewhere. $20 a day for self park.
- 5/5
Perfect ! Will be coming back !
- 2/5
Lobby looked pretty cool. Construction going on so we had to figure out parking. Then the fire alarm was going off while we were on the 8th floor but staff was working per usual like nothing was happening but when asked they would shrug and continued vacuuming. Language barrier perhaps? We look out the window to see a bunch of people standing outside and a firetruck pulling up. Took the stairs all the way down. Ceiling in the bedrooms are also weird.
- 5/5
Perfect stay! Rooms are so retro and abstract I loved every detail!
- 2/5
It was the check in day. I called the hotel in advance and asked about using my debit card to pay for the reservation and I was told it would be ok. I get there and they say they don’t take Chime even though it’s a bank.

I don’t know, never made it out the lobby! I didn’t like the front desk clerks, they weren’t very helpful and had me running back and forth just to not be able to even use my reservation!

Room was nice. Parking lot was great. At night, the building was beautiful with colored lighting. Our venue was just a few blocks away. No microwave oven.

Only thing they didn’t have , but I wish they did was a microwave in the room or any where in the hotel so people can warm up there leftovers . But that’s the only thing I had a problem with everything else was great

I had a wonderful experience with the hotel’s housekeeping team. I accidentally left my electric toothbrush in my room after checkout, and Maria from housekeeping kindly found it and kept it safe for me. When I received the package, I was really impressed by how carefully everything was handled. The toothbrush was packaged very well, and they even labeled where and when it was found, including the room number. I truly appreciated the attention to detail and professionalism. Thank you again to Maria and the team for going above and beyond to help me retrieve my lost item!
- 5/5
Beautiful upscale and modern hotel. Very artistic and fun.
- 5/5
Second time staying here. Cool place.
- 3/5
Hotel decor and cleanliness was great. Bed was very firm, too firm for me. Wanted to let my kids swim but there was a pool party going on and the pool door was propped open to the parking lot. The surrounding area, hotel parking included was sketchy and didn’t feel safe. I won’t stay here again unless adults only.
- 3/5
The art was whimsical and modern. Nice decor. But really not relaxer kid friendly. The walls are super thin. And after telling us that kids were allowed at the pool part but not recommended, they put us in a room overlooking the pool. The music was still loud that it was really a nuisance.
- 5/5
Very cool hotel...lots of artistic flair in the design so not a typical cookie cutter property...located nearby a lot of attractions. Desk staff were friendly and check in was quick.

We loved staying at Lorenzo it was a unique hotel with art everywhere. The room also had some personality, it was such a cool experience compared to standard hotel rooms everywhere else. The staff was 10/10 and so helpful/accommodating. We took the time to walk around the hotel and there were so many photo ops. Hotel was clean. It was a great stay, and the price was very affordable compared to other hotels
- 5/5
Very beautiful hotel. Will stay here again.
- 5/5
Absolutely adored this hotel! Will be staying here each time I’m in Dallas. You could really get lost in the art and decorations in the hotel. Room was clean and staff was friendly. Great location as well.
- 5/5
I believe his name is Jeremiah or Jeremy. At the front desk. He is amazing and kind.
- 5/5
Really cool and calm vibes.. Have to pay 25 for parking outside and inside the garage.
- 1/5
This was my first time in Texas, and instead of trying to find a solution, they left me stranded late at night with nowhere to go. I understand hotels have policies, but customer service and basic human understanding should matter too, especially in emergency situations. The staff made the entire experience stressful, humiliating, and upsetting. I ended up losing money, time, and feeling completely unsafe in an unfamiliar city. I would never stay here again and would not recommend this hotel to anyone traveling from out of town.
- 4/5
Location is perfect for downtown Shower configuration needs to be redone. While showering with the half glass and no door. Water get all over the floor. Potential slip and fall hazard

This property does a great job of showing art artistry
- 5/5
This hotel has always been a special place for us. We spent our honeymoon here over 40 years ago (when it was the Greenleaf Horel) and have come back periodically through the years. The remodel into The Lorenzo turned this place into one of the most eclectic and interesting places we have ever stayed. Every where you look or investigate has something fascinating to see. The neighborhood isn’t great but $8 for an Uber gets you right to The West End in minutes (well worth the cost so you don’t have to find a parking place). We had another great stay in our usual spacious corner king room overlooking downtown. Beautiful views at night.
- 5/5
What a great place to stay, very unique, artworks every where. The bed was soooo comfortable. Great service and the Food was tasty in the dining room. Highly recommended!! Thanks for a memorable stay.
- 4/5
The staff was great, and the hotel itself was super clean. My only complaint was the parking/construction nearby, and the scented sheets and towels. For those with sensitive skin, the hotel uses a cheaper detergent (from I can tell) and it left us feeling pretty uncomfortable during a longterm stay. We didn’t have a chance to ask if they could bring us a different set of sheets, so it’s possible they can work with you, but generally we expect hotels to have unscented/hypoallergenic detergent for bedding and towels. Otherwise, it’s fun, quirky hotel, and a perfect place to stay on the edge of Dallas. Also, super clean!

Very good breakfast, fast check in and check out, friendly staff, quiet and big room. Unfortunetly couldn't use the pool and fitness due to my schedule, but they seem to be very nice. Well furnished halls and well equiped room with design. The carpet in the room (although has a story and a designer) didn't look clean and the cleaning staff was a little unrganized with schedule and almost didn't come in my first day. I left the sign on the door, but I had to call them when arrived back in the evening. Location is also a point to pay attention. It seems very close to touristic area, but has a huge highway to cross, so it is not walking distance as it seems.

the hotel was alright. i thought it would be better and more high end luxury because i paid nearly $500 for only 2 nights. there’s no free breakfast, $20 a night parking, $50 to check in early just so much extra fees and it’s in a terrible place downtown. i expected better it’s an okay hotel at best.

We were intrigued as the ratings were good. However, to get to this hotel you have to go through a gauntlet of vagrants and encampments. The hotel staff were friendly. Not, 4 or 5 star hotel service by any means but not rude. The pillows and mattress looked like they had been through multiple rounds of rugby teams beating them up. We had to put that out of our minds to go to sleep. Would not stay here again.

This is a great place to see with lots of character which we love. It’s a little off the city path so rental car or planning Lyft a lot to anywhere. Not a walking around area.

The decor was very beautiful and staff at the front was nice Upon checking in we found lots of hair strands in the bathroom which showed it was not clean properly. We asked the morning staff for the room to be cleaned but no one cleaned it. Some of the outlets were not working when we tried to charge our phones or use the iron. The ice machine was extremely dirty and black stuff was coming out.

The hotel tries with a modern Vegas strip feel. Hot pink, black and grey decor. Front desk staff was really nice. Pool area was pretty funky. Very nice. Was way too cold to swim. Maybe rethink the freaky blue mannequins looking in the bedroom windows on the 2nd floor…where we were. Would not return.
- 5/5
The staff was welcoming, the hotel was full of interesting art and the food was delicious.
- 5/5
The room was cute and the bed was comfortable. I liked that the AC control was on the wall! The shower pressure could have been a bit better and I had a room directly across from the elevator, so I could hear people coming and going. But it wasn't too much of a problem! Overall a great hotel and very close the Southside Ballroom!

to explore more. Secondly, free parking should be included with the price of the stay. It costs enough to surely be able to cover parking a vehicle in a lot for the duration of a stay. Lastly, this fancier hotel was built in the projects in downtown Dallas. It’s one street down from a huge homeless population. Kinda felt like a slap in the face and a bit of a reality check about how cruel life can be. An upscale establishment almost in the heart of a population who has nothing but the bag they carry on their back…
- 4/5
The room was quiet, the bed comfortable, the bathroom clean. Having the restaurant downstairs was convenient. The location is a bit isolated. No grocery store or restaurant near by. Due to road construction work around the hotel, the shortest path to downtown was blocked which added some distance and time to a walk that could have made access to the center of town much easier.
- 5/5

- 5/5
Bed was comfy, room was clean, very cute decor in the rooms, and very friendly staff.
- 5/5
The hotel was beautiful! I love the artsy decor. It's a small hotel so there was only one restaurant that was open for all three meals. I only ate there once for lunch. The food was delicious. There was a taco joint that was only open for breakfast which was curious. The bridge that leads from the main downtown area was demolished so we were not able to have access to downtown easily. The hotel is near a highway so it's a bit noisy but that did not bother me. If you are a very light sleeper, this may not be the spot for you.
- 5/5
The bar was excellent! The room was clean and welcoming. It was a great stay!
- 5/5

The atmosphere, restaurant, the cleanliness, staff was exceptional. The the outline and décor of the hotel was outstanding. We really enjoyed our stay and everyone was very hands on. I really didn't like having to pay for parking. That's the only bad thing about it.
- 4/5
Pics look better online than in person. The room smelled like bleach.
- 4/5
The pool was cold; it’s not temperature controlled. There’s no access to a microwave. Otherwise, it was a nice place, reasonably priced, & parking was more affordable than the other downtown hotel options.
- 5/5
Great weekend stay at Lorenzo! Axel at the front desk was great, and can't beat the $20 parking right in the hotel. We attended a weekend concert and the hotel was great, right next to downtown and everything we needed access to. Would definitely stay again.

The location was really the only bummer about this hotel. As I single woman, i was advised it probably wasn't safe to walk into downtown, so spent extra $$ to shuttle into town and trek around. Otherwise, the staff was exceptional and the decor fun and funcky.

This hotel is awesome. Very different decoration. I’ve room was so cool. Nice view. The bed was comfortable. The only thing that could had been better is a microwave in the room. This place was nice. Would definitely go again and recommend to others.

If you enjoy staying at a boutique establishment with a hipper, more artsy ambiance the Lorenzo Hotel in Dallas, Texas, part of the Hilton portfolio, consider staying here. Front desk staffers, cleaning professionals, valet employees, security staff and members of the Hamilton Restaurant team are professional, courteous, helpful, clean, and pleasant. Rooms are meticulously maintained, public spaces are clean and organized, and parking is plentiful. Restaurant offers interesting takes on your favorite food selections. The hotel gym has a variety of equipment options to support your workout on the road. You will enjoy your stay.
- 3/5
The staff were very courteous and contentious, service was very good in the bar/restaurant. We had been wanting to stay at Hotel Lorenzo for some time, based solely on the outside lights and interior aesthetic. It may have been a bit better when it was still fresh, but it was a little lackluster as it currently stands.

- 5/5
Everything was great
- 5/5
The room was extremely clean, the hotel decor was very upbeat and the staff was helpful.
- 5/5
The rooms were well kept. The concierge was attentive. A few technical issues but they were quickly resolved by the hospitality team. Only takeaway would be that the bathroom doesn't have a ventilation system for when you take hot showers.
- 5/5
.
- 4/5
The room was fine, but the location without a car was not. The walk with the bridge under construction was longer and unpleasant around a freeway. We ended up relocating to another Hilton hotel right in the city center where the receptionist was helpful in advising us on places to go without a car or Uber like the free M line trolley that loops around the uptown area.

Amazing. so cool! loved the big lamp and i love the paint brush in the ceiling.
- 5/5
Very scenic! Good atmosphere! Theres a huge mirror in front of the bed!
- 5/5
The stay is ALWAYS excellent.. the room was clean and beautifully decorated. The restaurant down stairs had great food options and an even greater pour of cocktails. My favorite hotel in Dallas.
- 5/5
Great
- 5/5
The room was spotless, loved the whole experience!
- 5/5
Room was very good and staff helped when we needed extra waters and utensils
- 1/5
Room was not cleaned well, hair in the bathroom and everything smelled like cheap cleaner. It was so strong that we left.
- 5/5
Was a great place
- 5/5
Room was clean, staff was nice and helpful, and I liked that I could login to my Netflix. Made my stay very comfortable. Loved the makeup remover wipes in the bathroom too!
- 2/5
This stay fell short. We were locked out of our room at 2:30 a.m. with no access to our belongings and had to wait for assistance. No apology was offered. When we asked about late checkout, the response was simply “Nope, there is no late checkout this weekend,” with no explanation or courtesy. The dog park was also blocked by scaffolding and unusable, which was disappointing since it’s advertised as a pet-friendly amenity. Overall, the service and experience did not match our past stays. Hoping management improves consistency and guest communication.
- 4/5
Had a great stay. The only reason I gave 4 stars instead of 5 was the NOISE! We were on the 11th floor and I understand it is directly below the ballroom but we were never made aware of that and were completely understanding once we realized BUT the noise was excessive and went on throughout THE ENTIRE NIGHT!!!!
- 5/5
Lorenzo Hotel amenities and ambiance are superb. The art
- 5/5
All was great minus the construction so it was loud and hard to sleep through the night.
- 1/5
I didn't even stay at the hotel I called them the day before the needed to for a refund and no cancellation fee because I had a seizure and wasn't going to be driving to a hotel just staying home that time so I called and canceled. They told me it was taken care of and no charge would be given and no charge or late cancellation fee will be charged. Then I was charged this morning with a $347.44 fee I contacted them and they told me that they got the amount wrong it was meant to only $267.64 even though they told me two days before no fees or charges would apply!
- 5/5
Yes
- 5/5
The room was clean cute and access into the hotel along with parking was easy
- 4/5
Called for an early checkin, room wasn’t ready upon the confirmed early arrival.
- 5/5
Good
- 4/5
I'm not a huge fan of the room decor but it's clean and got all the basic things I need. I love the soft comfy pillows. Also, the restaurant serves a decent breakfast.
- 2/5
water pressure was abysmal!
- 5/5
Unique room, but great! Was something different than a regular hotel room.
- 5/5
Beautiful hotel and room. Friendly service. Clean. Best gym in any hotel I’ve ever been too!!!
- 5/5
I have stayed here multiple times. Gave me the exact room I requested.
- 4/5
Bed was comfortable
- 5/5
Great all around
- 5/5
Room and atmosphere was great!
- 5/5
Great
- 4/5
It's not in the greatest part of town, but I never felt unsafe.
- 4/5
Spacious room and funky decore.
- 4/5
Beautiful place!
- 5/5
Wonderful
- 5/5
I would definitely stay here again
- 4/5
yes
- 1/5
The room was bizarre. Creepy staircase photos on the wall. Picture frame and paint brush in the ceiling and the carpet said sleep and death over and over.
- 2/5
I asked the front desk 3 times over the course of 3 days to have someone check the mini fridge in my room as it was no longer working, but it was never addressed. At one point during my stay, I had a housekeeper walk into my room unannounced as I was changing shirts. She apologized stating she went to the wrong room, but I was already annoyed at the lack of awareness to double check the room number or even knock on the door.
- 2/5
I also notice hotels now say self-parking available. However, when you arrive, parking is $20 per night. No big deal, but be concise and not ambiguous. I also considered the $450 incidental cost excessive, but again, just my personal perspective.
- 5/5
No microwave was my only concern after I spent money on food and I could not warm it up.
- 5/5
What a great hotel! We only stayed for one evening but this place was colorful and eclectic. The bed, bedding and towels were all soft, new and clean. The room was spotless AND it smelled fresh too. We won’t stay anywhere else from now one. The restaurant downstairs was yummy and the staff were welcoming. Highly recommend.
- 5/5
Love how unique and beautiful the hotel is! Cool vibes
- 5/5
Beautiful hotel
- 5/5
Hotel was very clean
- 2/5
Rude
- 5/5
Room was clean, staff was nice, great location for us and good food.
- 1/5
Room was barely cleaned, it was extremely noisy. Hotel staff either took or threw away my personal belongings. Don’t recommend, this hotel was nice after they renovated it, not no so much.
- 5/5
Beautiful hotel! Loved the artwork and the quirky decorating touches, and loved that the room was very comfortable, had all amenities needed with just an extra touch of special. All of the employees we encountered were very friendly and helpful. We REALLY appreciate that. The food in the restaurant was good. Drinks at the bar were on point. And their coffee was great as well. There was keurig coffee in the room, but the coffee downstairs was exceptional. We would definitely stay there again. Also, we felt safe there. Our room was right across from the elevator which initially concerned us, but we never heard a thing!
- 2/5
Although the aesthetic were beautiful and the rooms were clean and staff was amazing the location made it unlikely for me to return. It was noisy in and outside the hotel. My bed was the most uncomfortable bed I've every slept in in a hotel. The restaurant food was good and very intimate and at arrival they had a photo shoot for Santa and guest.
- 5/5
I always love staying at this hotel when I come to town for shows. The staff is nice, the art and interior are cool, the bar is a plus, the pool rocks. The rooms are super cool and comfortable. Love the glasses inside as well. I bought them this time!
- 3/5
Every thing was pretty okay!
- 5/5
Entire property nice and clean
- 4/5
Bad location, but a nice hotel. No valet parking and no coveted parking.
- 5/5
Great
- 3/5
The room was not cleaned to my standard. I wiped down all the surfaces. The largest light in the room did not work. The lighting throughout was low. The bed was hard. There were no extra covers.
- 5/5
Maybe ask for a room on the parking lot side, because the highway can be really loud!
- 5/5
Everything was very clean, the staff was very friendly, and the hotel itself was just amazing. The aesthetic was very different from typical hotels, but it was so interesting and enjoyable. Definitely will stay here again when we are in Dallas!
- 5/5
Restaurant had a wonderful menu that provided delicious food and excellent service. Front desk was extremely friendly and helpful
- 5/5
Room was very clean and very nice, super comfy bed!
- 4/5
Room was okay, staff is good
- 5/5
Beautiful property with art everywhere. Our room looked out over the magnificent pool, it was too cold to swim but we'll be back for a girls day once it's warmer. Everything was clean and well maintained. The beds were so comfy with down comforters it was hard to get up in the morning .
- 5/5
Yes
- 5/5
Quiet, clean, and the art work and detail was amazing.
- 5/5
Multiple people were complaining while we were there, also.
- 5/5
Everything was wonderful! No complaints.. A relaxing beautiful friendly place to stay
- 5/5
Beautiful Room!!!
- 5/5
i’ve stayed here about 5 times, always my favorite place to stay in dallas. clean and convenient.
- 5/5
The artistic aspect was nice and different from other hotels. We enjoyed looking around at all the pieces and the furniture! Would definitely come back
- 5/5
Cici was the nicest at check-in. This is the 2nd most amazing experience & service.
- 4/5
- 5/5
room was spotless and staff were very quick when we needed anything.
- 5/5
Room was clean and attractive.
- 5/5
We really loved this place! It was so cool and clean. I only had one issue with our stay, our hotel room didn’t have a microwave. Everything else was great! Would definitely recommend.
- 5/5
Great location, beautiful hotel. Will definitely stay again.
- 5/5
Second time here, still great place to stay.
- 3/5
The proximity to the convention center is great and the hotel itself is nice. Cool art and funky rooms, though poorly lit. The restaurant staff was attentive. The highway noise, however, is hard to convey in words. It is SO LOUD in the rooms facing the highway that earplugs and a white noise app can't even begin to drown out the noise. Do not, I repeat do not, let them put you in an east, north or west facing room. You won't sleep.
- 4/5
The hotel itself was super artistic and fun. Our room was interesting (in a good way) and had we been there longer than one night- we would have used the pool (also interesting).
- 4/5
The property was unique but it was load in my room at night time from the surrounding areas
- 2/5
The hotel is nice. It's just outside of downtown, but a decent compromise for the price. The highway noise at night is unbearable, though. It was tough to sleep it was so loud. And their AC units don't have a setting to run the fan to drown the noise out. I wouldn't stay there again.
- 5/5
Amazing
- 5/5
Cool hotel near the Dallas Arts District as well as Dallas Farmers Market
- 5/5
All good
- 5/5
Strange spot yet a great stay! Walking was easy
- 3/5
You must pay extra to park on top of a mid stay.
- 4/5
Great parking, very convenient for ride share as you are only a 10 minute ride to anywhere downtown. We had a room facing the highway and it was loud at night so be aware. Also not the safest area for walking into downtown, be smart. Very fun rooms and decor, staff was helpful and friendly.
- 5/5
Location was perfect, several minutes from key attractions, restaurants, and social clubs.
- 5/5
Loved the room!!! The decorations !! The view just loved every part from entrance to exit !!! Unforgettable ! Would totally stay here again !
- 5/5
.
- 5/5
The Staff was friendly and helpful. The room was clean and looked just like the photos posted. Note....you must scan the QR code to pay for parking...payment is not accepted at the desk.
- 5/5
So cute. Close to the highway. Awesome rooms and decor. Highly recommended
- 5/5
Everything was nice! But would have been better if you didn’t have to pay for parking.
- 5/5
I plan on staying there again in November!
- 5/5
Nice people
- 5/5
Very clean and professional
- 5/5
It was perfect
- 4/5
The hotel was chic and beautiful. A little on the smaller size. The location of the hotel was a bit strange in my opinion. The location did not offer much of a view. The staff was amazing and overnight parking was the cheapest I’ve paid in a long time, so that was a plus.
- 4/5
The hotel was beautiful, but the room smelled like dog urine and the air conditioning didn’t work. The tv only had basic cable.
- 5/5
Special praise for the restaurant. We had breakfast every day and dinner twice, all meals were excellent. The chef-special baklava was a real treat. Staff were always pleasant and helpful.
- 5/5
Parking Situation is a Little off and Costly for Guest But besides ALL THAT its a GO
- 5/5
Funky, fantastic! The staff was friendly and professional. Would 100% recommend Lorenzo and will stay again.
- 5/5
From the room to the staff, it’s a really nice hotel! Location is in the heart of everywhere you will want to go
- 4/5
Very original and very cool art everywhere.
- 3/5
It was really weird having a blue naked man looking into our room when we looked out. The mirrors were also kinda icky and caused some strange vibes. Really wasn’t enough light in the room for me.
- 5/5
The property is in excellent condition, nice restaurant and pool area was clean and well kept. Staff were pleasant.
- 3/5
The air conditioning unit didn’t not really cool the room down, it was ok but not as cold as I wanted it to be. The tv didn’t have any premium channels and trying to connect my iPhone to the tv was a huge hassle. I ended up giving up and didn’t even bother calling the front desk.
- 2/5
They said the issue was on my end, but after further investigation and calls to my credit card company we indeed able to confirm the payment was processed successfully. Although I’m relieved the problem was resolved, this was a bad start to my stay.
- 5/5
I love the feel of this hotel. I only wish the food at the restaurant was more authentic.
- 5/5
Nice hotel with a restaurant inside.
- 2/5
Hotel was clean, staff was helpful. My biggest issue was the “pool party” they had going from 3pm to 9pm on a Monday. Music was so loud, I could feel it in my room. Staff was accommodating and moved me, problem was new room was on the corner closest to I 30. This was a business trip, I kinda needed sleep. Also paying $20 to park your own car seems unreasonable.
- 5/5
Great hotel, fun rooms. Yummy restaurant!
- 2/5
I only stayed here for the pool party. I called and asked the front desk and they said yes it would be a pool party. When I checked in I asked again and instead of the front desk person being honest, he said maybe and directed me to eventbrite. He should’ve been honest and said no there is no party today, that’s tomorrow and I would’ve changed my booking. As it stands I am not happy, my friends and I were put out of the pool area at 11pm on a Friday night. The employees lied when asked, I’ll NEVER stay here again.
- 4/5
Everything about my stay was great except for the horrible check in experience with the overnight shift. There was a woman who was awful to me. She had braids and was talking over the other woman who was trying to help me. She wouldn’t let me check in. I waited for 2 hours in the lobby after taking the redeye flight. I was exhausted and she said she couldn’t add a night to my reservation because I booked through a 3rd party. As soon as the morning shift arrived around 8 am, I had a lovely stay! I got checked in and even paid for an upgraded room so that I could have a bathtub. The hotel is very nice and the downtown location was convenient to the KBH convention center. All of the other staff besides that one woman were helpful and lovely.
- 5/5
Great
- 5/5
The art deco design. I was able to check in early. Staff was courteous and welcoming.
- 5/5
Perfect
- 5/5
VThe room was clean qnd alll of the esthetics are really nice and theres nightly security to keep everything safe.
- 5/5
Great environment
- 5/5
Beautiful hotel. We really enjoyed our stay!
- 4/5
Our room did have a leak in the bathroom tub area and issue with the TV, but they corrected it quickly. Location is close to the farmers market as well as other downtown dining options. It only took us around less than 15/20 minutes to get to any of our reservations. Which was a plus! The parking is self park for $20/day , there wasn’t any issues with finding parking though.
- 4/5
If you like art and cool design that is really fun this hotel is a great choice
- 3/5
Hotel restaurant has a great breakfast and great staff. However, we did not appreciate the front desk staff’s rude disposition NOR the “pool party” experience. Open to non-hotel guest and hotel guest under 18 had to leave the pool area at 3pm! It became an outdoor nightclub open to the public. Watched homeless people cruise the streets from the hotel window. Parking was overpriced and had to be shared with the “nightclub” guest at pool party.
- 5/5
Loving the artsy decoration and local artist displayed art. Beautiful and fun, it has been a great experience with my teenage son.
- 1/5
The stay was excellent..but the hold for the deposit is terrible still haven’t received a call back
- 5/5
My wife and i would definitely stay at the Lorenzo again , staff was professional, room was clean , close walking distance to many downtown areas within 20 to 30 minutes if your into walking, Southside Ballroom close enough to walk to for concerts
- 5/5
Great property! DJ pool party was tons of fun!
- 5/5
Had issues with Ubers all weekend which isn’t their fault, mostly due to the location! Parking is hit or miss!
- 3/5
Nice hotel but extremely loud street/hwy noise that disturbed my sleep for both nights.
- 5/5
Pool party was crazy.. for young ones
- 1/5
Don’t go
- 3/5
Hotel was nice but beware of partying on Saturday evenings. Apparently they have a Sip N Slide or something like that so there were alot of people in the pool twerkin in thongs and skimpy swimsuits. I vacation for peace and comfort and unfortunately I couldn't enjoy the pool.
- 5/5
Very nice environment
- 5/5
The hotel itself is a unique experience, The decor and creative artwork throughout gives art gallery/ miami boutique vibes, The staff was very accommodating. The housekeeping did a wonderful job keeping the rooms and common areas fresh. The location it near airports and all of downtown. I will be returning. Only thing that i would say that could be better is that the area is being built up so they was some construction near. Other than that.. Great stay!
- 5/5
It is a quirky and clean place right off the highway.
- 5/5
Very nice hotel. Clean and well kept.
- 5/5
We had an amazing stay at this uniquely decorated hotel! The pool was wonderful, the restaurant had great food and the room was comfortable. The only minor complaint I would point out is that the mattress, which was definitely comfortable, sits on a slick piece of wood, which made it quite slippery. That made "activities" a bit complicated...but the challenge was fun anyway!
- 5/5
The place was amazing from the minute we walked in the door. Very cool tapestry, friendly staff. Area was kind of sketchy but not terrible. My only complain would be the 25.00 parking a day and on Saturday they host a pool party open to anyone therefore parking was limited even tho we paid.
- 4/5
You have to pay $20 a day parking fee per car. That needs to be listed prominently. The front desk on the day we checked in weren't friendly. Also we would call down to ask the front desk a question that would have just taken less than 10 seconds to answer and they didn't answer the phone. Then we walked down to the front desk and there were about 5 to 7 people down there doing absolutely nothing. They could've easily answered the phone call. I will mention the hotel is lovely and the overnight staff and the staff the next day were a lot more friendlier. It would've been 5 stars for me if it weren't for these two issues.
- 5/5
This is the most beautiful hotel I've ever stayed at, I can't recommend this hotel enough we loved it so much. We will definitely be back!
- 3/5
I was excited to stay here but was disappointed in my stay. Our room smelled like mold, and we were placed in a room facing the interstate, which was very loud all night long. The food in the hotel was just alright, and the wait staff wasn't great either.
- 5/5
We were very surprised how affordable and great food the restaurant had. Highly recommend the sweet potato fries with the burger!
- 5/5
- 5/5
Very cool vibe at this hotel. However they had a Juneteenth pool party that was open to the public and the parking was a nightmare and they were confrontational with hotel guests. I’ve never seen something like this at a hotel.
- 5/5
We love staying at the Lorenzo when we come to listen to music at Dos Equis. The hotel is great and it is convenient to Uber/Lyft to the venue.
- 4/5
Hotel is nice and clean. Can use some updating in rooms but clean. The air conditioner was not working great, it finally quit 98 outside. Called the front desk. Maintenance guy arrived less than 5 min later and changed out the AC. 5 min later he decided it was not working properly and moved us i to another room. The front desk setvice was great. The staff as a whole was very helpful.
- 5/5
I am obsessed with this hotel. We will definitely be back. The pool area was amazing, the restaurant was good, the beds were comfortable and I loved all the unique art and modern feel. The staff were friendly.
- 5/5
Very comfortable , awesome bar with fantastic bar tenders , great service and conversation, only issue was tight parking that costs you every night
- 4/5
- 4/5
Everything was good, except people who paid for rooms, also had to pay $20 a day for parking, plus $80 deposit that supposed to be refunded after stay.Other then that, the stay was nice.
- 3/5
Room wasn’t ready til almost 5PM, room was very clean and tidy though. Pool is very nice and fun. Bar staff was welcoming.
- 5/5
Clean handy in walking distance of town - highly recommended
- 2/5
Not a fan of the decor. It look like your staying in Alice in Wonderland.
- 5/5
We have stayed here twice now for conventions and being in walking distance is such a luxury.
- 5/5
This was an amazing hotel! My 7 year old daughter loved all of the art and fun pool! I think this would be a fun couple trip too!
- 4/5
Property was playing the non-like that had to pay for parking
- 5/5
GREAT STAY! WILL DEFINITELY COME BACK!
- 5/5
The daily care of my room by the housekeeping staff was fantastic. The walk from the hotel to the convention center was convenient.
- 5/5
The design of the hotel
- 5/5
This hotel was in the perfect location for me! It's so fancy and different. Added bonus was the pool party Saturday. I came for a good time and that's what I had. Only thing I guess I would change is the music in the bar during happy hour. Also I loved that they provided me with water each day of my stay! Just know I will be back! Staff always had smiles when I came through the lobby and the housekeeping were like ninjas! Never saw them but room was always clean when I returned! They need a raise! ❤️
- 5/5
Awesome
- 5/5
Great place
- 4/5
Nive.. I wish we would've knew about the pool party before hand.. I
- 3/5
Beautiful place , nice view & comfy room aswell as good parking . Unfortunately room service closes at check in time & pool closed by 11. Would be nice to know and pay deposit beforehand. Expedia didnt show exact info but overall nice stay
- 5/5
Great!
- 2/5
AC and TV didn’t work in room, pool bar and music is only on Saturdays. Otherwise it was a good location for the convention center
- 5/5
Fun stay
- 5/5
This place was absolutely beautiful and the pool was amazing and my goodness was the staff incredibly friendly. I arrived an hour early and was still able to check in. The food was excellent and the enzo tacos in the parking lot is a MUST try. The best burrito i’ve ever had. Will definitely stay here again if I get a chance. Also the rooms are super neat. A really unique stay.
- 3/5
It's ok. Not a huge fan of having to pay twenty dollars a night on top of everything else for the privilege of parking your vehicle on the property. Staff were friendly and courteous. Hotel itself was clean and well maintained. Nothing too special to the hotel itself, lots of art. Don't think I'll go back myself but definitely not a horrible hotel. If you find something else nice that's twenty dollars more just know it's basically the same price since this hotel charges you every day to park.
- 5/5
Friendly staff, nice pool, good food
- 5/5
Great stay, as expected. The only issue was parking on Saturday. There was some kind of private event and all the parking spaces were taken, even though we paid for the whole weekend. We drove around until someone was leaving. There were two spaces below, but people in the next space parked over the line, so we couldn’t park there. It was very frustrating!
- 5/5
Amazing experience! We will definitely be back. This was our favorite stay. It was a unique hotel and a very convenient location.
- 5/5
Every employee was very kind and would make sure every question we had was answered. Thank you so much and hope to stay there September 2026 for Fan Expo 2026.
- 5/5
Nice hotel and restaurants.
- 5/5
Very friendly staff. Good distance to walk to convention center. Breakfast food truck was so good! Ate lunch at hotel and delicious!
- 5/5
Very clean, very kind service, enjoyable experience
- 5/5
Friendly staff good service happy to come back
- 5/5
Restaurant was elevated did experience for a small hotel restaurant. Great choice!
- 5/5
The location feels a little “sketchy” but it was safe. Inside of the hotel is decorated so cute and artsy. Front desk staff could’ve been a little more friendly. Room was clean and beds were comfortable. The restaurant and bar staff were super friendly. The food was excellent. Would definitely stay here again!
- 5/5
Neat little hotel slightly away from the full hustle of the Downtown area. If you’re not opposed to walking just a little, there are plenty of things to do within a reasonable distance. My only knock, and it’s a small one, is that the showers water pressure was pretty weak. Not the worst I’ve had though. Would 100% stay here again.
- 5/5
Courteous front desk staff, cleaning staff polite, and room was impeccable
- 5/5
It's a short and safe walk to the Kay Bailey Convention Center Dome over the highway overpass. If the convention center doors are locked, it's a leisurely 10-15 minute walk around to the front doors or underground parking doors.
- 5/5
Beautiful and unique decor - we have stayed her twice before.
- 5/5
It was perfect !! The view was amazing
- 5/5
What a beautiful little gem of a place in down town Dallas. Loved the unique art and design throughout the hotel and in the rooms with Shakespear on the flooring and art across the ceilings in our rooms made for a fun and unique experience. We were attending Lonestar at the Kay Bailey Convention Center - perfect location for easy convenient walk back and forth to events all weekend from this location. Ate at the restaurant with wonderful staff and tasty chocolate mochas. Will stay again.
