Friendly staff I was up most of the night because there was street racing on the streets outside the hotel. I don’t know was going on with this part of Dallas. It’s very sketchy. They had public parking an employee at the hotel told me it’s not safe to park in that public lot!

The hotel was nice in a good location for day time strolling, but sketchy in the night time. We were given a room with a horrible view - the parking structure. Walking distance to good places to eat or walk.

The room was nice and comfortable. Staff were great. It is a little noisy from the street and neighbor rooms. The internet was pretty slow, butnot problematic.

The location was the only part that was good We had noises from the wall of water flow, we can hear every car horn. We even complain to the manager and they do nothing .. The “facility” are really lame and the only thing they can offer is the pool and it’s cold

The room was so nice. Super clean and inviting. The water pressure wasn't as strong as I'd have liked, but it got the job done. The ac was nice and cold but the room did get hot in the middle of the night. It was overall a great stay.

We had a great stay and would definitely give this hotel five stars. We stayed for a couple of days over New Year’s in one of the king rooms and had no complaints at all. The room was very clean and comfortable, and room service being available was a nice bonus. The hotel has a good bar and a convenient little market, which made our stay even easier. The downtown Dallas location was perfect for the event we were attending and made getting around extremely convenient. Overall, a wonderful experience and we would happily stay here again.

My car was broken into . Over 3k worth of property damage & personal items stolen .. no microwaves in room .

The hotel was fine but the housekeeping was dreadful. We needed to use a pull out and we were handed sheets and told to make it up ourselves. I asked for a blanket for the pull out bed and housekeeping was not able to provide me with a blanket. I had to go down to the front desk to get one. We left the room between 9-11 every morning and returned late every evening to a room that had not been cleaned. I had to find housekeeping to get fresh towels. Overall very disappointing.

Clean room, great view but sink water pressure was terrible. It took so long to wash hands brush teeth etc. because there was barely any water pressure or water coming out. Shower water pressure was amazing though. Love that you could get to the Starbucks right through the hotel.

Upon arrival the front desk staff was excellent. She was friendly and gave advice on where to eat and shop. The person who cleaned the room left only one set of clean towels on a few occasions. I had wait to shower until it came usually 30 minutes. The valet service was also the an issue. Everytime I got back into my rental car the radio station was changed. Why are you touching the radio. Park the car leave it! What else are you doing with the car?! One guy had bad hygiene and smelled really bad of body odor. In addition, upon departure one of the valet attendants was careless with our luggage and broke the handle of my daughter’s new bag. The hotel was great in giving advice on how to resolve it and informed us that the valet service is outsourced. Next time I’d stay elsewhere despite the good points.

The hotel was nice, but there were a few small things that could’ve used improvement. For example, the toilet seat was broken and barely stayed on during use, the indoor pool was not heated, and the lobby restrooms had not been maintained.

Parking was a nightmare, always a long line that wrapped around building for valet; paid for two nights of valet and there was a parade blocking people from using it the second night

The room was clean. As in most hotel rooms, there was very low lighting which makes it difficult to put makeup on. The bed was comfortable and the AC worked great.

Clean rooms, was there for wedding and venue was around the corner so convenient place to stay.

I highly recommend the AC Marriott Downtown Dallas for anyone visiting the area. From start to finish, my experience was excellent. Upon arrival, Freydie at the front desk was both friendly and professional, making check-in smooth and welcoming. However, I made a mistake with my reservation. Thankfully, Adrian Ngalongalo was there to help. He went above and beyond to calm me down and carefully walked me through all of my options. His professionalism, patience, and genuine kindness turned what could have been a stressful situation into a smooth and reassuring experience. It’s rare to encounter such thoughtful service, and Adrian truly made my stay memorable. It’s comforting to know that chivalry still exists! The rooms are upscale and comfortable, offering a great place to unwind after a day out. The hotel itself has a modern, stylish feel, and everything was spotless during my stay. Overall, the AC Marriott Downtown Dallas offers excellent service, great amenities, and a fantastic location in the heart of the city. I will definitely be staying here again and highly recommend it to others!

Decent hotel located walking distance to the convention centre. My room was large and well appointed. Downtown Dallas doesn't really seem to have much going on but there are a few decent restaurants close to the hotel. I would stay here again for a business trip.

We usually stay at the AC in Ft. Worth and love it, so I was excited to have one in Dallas. Upon arrival the vallet guy was very uninterested and the room faced an ac unit. The hotel and room was extremely clean, and well located for what we needed. The bed was like sleeping on the floor it was so hard. It just not what I’m used to from this Hotel.

This hotel and its staff were great! The restaurant in the lobby has a great pesto rigatoni if you're hungry! The room was very nice, clean, spacious, & quiet. My daughter and I were there for a volleyball tournament at the convention center and its a short easy walk! The hotel will push the valet on you and if you're at all worried it might be worth it @ $42/day but since I take kickboxing and my daughter is an amazon woman and we're not scared we risked it in the back lot for $20/day and it worked out fine!

The gym needs a lot of work. Don’t even have exercise mats and they expect you to lay on the dirty floor that everyone walks on. Needs to be changed.

The elevator is terrible. There are 3 elevators in the building but it seems like only one works. The shower controls are a pain to use because they're so far from the shower heads and the toilet doesn't work well.

Felt very unsafe. There appeared to be soliciting outside the hotel.

This property is in the good location but it gets loud with the cars coming down the street with loud music but that was not on the hotel. I did have an issue when I checked in I prepaid my reservation on Expedia prior but for some reason I had 2 reservations when I checked in the female that checked me in continued to repeat I have 2 reservations but I advised I paid for 1 already and that is the reservation I would like to use. She continued to repeat herself after about 2-3 mins of the same scenario a gentlemen next to her that was working beside her said just "cancel" the extra reservation and we was on with our day. I do want to express how good the other staff was with letting us in our rooms with no wait time while the issue with IT was going on around the world this weekend planes were grounded but Marriott good job!

I think the hotel was mediocre. Definitely not clean. The bathrooms were definitely not clean upon arrival and even when they cleaned they just overlooked the dirty areas. Location of hotel was in a good area. No need to rent a car. For the amount we paid I would have expected a better stay experience.

The decor is very modern with a European feel. Squeaky clean. Great customer service. Had the salmon dinner in their restaurant and it was superb.

This is a great hotel in a great location. The staff were friendly and responsive to concerns. We used valet and they were efficient and make sure to have great service the entire trip. Overall would stay at this location if in Dallas.

This hotel is centrally located. Within an easy walk to many restaurants, parks and 2 DART stations. Service was friendly and prompt. The room plus public areas such as the business mezzanine, reception, laundry the pool area were very well kept.

It was a wonderful experience! The valet that is an additional $45 is well worth it! We didn’t have to deal with the hassle of finding a parking lot. The room was immaculate and met all our needs! Will book again in the future!

I like the aesthetics of my room. I did not like having only one ice machine available on another level which was never able to produce enough ice for my needs (to cool one small cup of Coke as well as a small cup of water. I did not like the limited snack options or having snack machines conveniently located. I did not like having to pay extra for items not available on $15 breakfast menu, ie. egg whites because I can not eat egg yolks.

The restaurant was over priced, we chose not to eat there at all. We had ordered drinks from the bar…none of them tasted good at all. The bartender closed things down early. I don’t mind it too much because he seemed short staffed…having to get food from the kitchen and make drinks on a busy Saturday night. Bottom line, I’d not stay here. You over pay for what you do get and the “high tech” appearance is not more functional. There are some good dining options nearby and within walking distance. And more reasonable prices too!

Went to ILS2024 at the KBHCC and it was walking distance. Convenient to transit and stores.

Front desk was rude in the morning when I asked about breakfast, which when I checked in on the day before no one mentioned it would be non existent. I was offered complimentary coffee. Major fail and with all the options around I will not be back.

We asked for a room for three adults, offered a rm with 2 Q size beds: more like full. Too small. The coffee machine in the room serves coffee for 2 and no breakfast included.

I recently traveled to Dallas for a work retreat. The hotel is immaculate. smells fresh, has a very modern aesthetic. The staff was very pleasant and attentive. We had breakfast and dinner at the bar. Food was decent for hotel food but there are several restaurants near by and you can uber eats. The AC hotel is conveniently connected to the residence inn and the hampton inn. Both very clean properties with incredibly helpful staff. I worked with Joyce Oliver in sales to secure a meeting space at the Hampton Inn. We were able to remain indoors to access both properties. There is also a starbucks in the building on the 1st floor on the Hampton Inn side. Our rooms were super clean and spacious. For ladies, I do recommend bringing a travel light for make up application. I think this is true for most hotels. I highly recommend the property. It seems to popular for business travel.

BUT, the fragrance in the lobby is really overpowering. Additionally, the restaurant had been closed over Thanksgiving so they were limited on what they could serve and burgers were pretty much it. The burger was terrible, they gave only a few chips and yet it was all they could offer. I threw it away and said nothing more. There was no fixing that.

The hotel itself was very nice in terms of appearance and decor. The room I had was lovely and tastefully decorated and looked high end. The beds were extremely comfy and the shower fab. The smart tv also let you connect to YouTube which was a bonus. The one thing that sadly stood out for me was the pretty not interested aspect of the staff. It’s not to say they were rude; but generally things just felt a bit self service. I think Thanksgiving meant many people were away, but the hotel generally felt a bit soulless.. it didn’t bother me too much as I was out a lot; but walking in and out no one really says anything to you. Location of reception doesn’t help with that as you don’t walk past this area to go to the room. The room was really lovely but had zero information anywhere about the hotel, swimming pool times, room service, restaurant opening and menus? I wasn’t given anything at reception and sadly it prompted me to eat out (which was probably cheaper). Overall thought on balance I had a really good stay and would stay again despite the feedback. It just doesn’t have a staff wow factor despite the lovely interior. The surrounding area I avoided after dark.

Hey, I really enjoyed my stay. They made me feel right at home. I’m a soldier just getting back from deployment so I wanted to unwind and relax. This place was awesome.

Nice overnight stay for a company event. Property was in a popular location and easily accessible. Rooms were clean and up to date. Service was mediocre but available. I would definitely stay again if needed.

Next, the sink in the bathroom was inoperable the entire stay. Water pressure was horrible in the sink. That’s very frustrating. Lastly the toilet didn’t flush properly at all. I had to call to request for maintenance to come up to fix the problem. My opinion is that this hotel needs to do an annual inspection in all the rooms so that this don’t occur . It was a inconvenience for me not being able to flush the toilet and use the water in the sink normally. I would not refer a friend to stay here for those reasons forementioned. This was the first time that this has happen to ne staying at a hotel. Especially with such high price that came with too many inconveniences within the room period.

Helpful staff

The only thing I would say is that it is not worth paying for breakfast in your hotel prize as you don’t get a wide choice. Wait until you get there and decide. Also very disappointed that for my last two nights the kitchen was closed for evening meals even though they are meant to have a evening restaurant as they do have a menu so beware.

As a Marriot Bonvoy Silver Elite member, late checkouts are one of the benefits. I’ve stayed at multiple AC hotels across the country and I’ve only experienced this issue with this particular location. This is not the first time. They need to honor their member benefits!

Check-in was easy, the hotel room was quite spacious and comfortable. However, our room was facing Commerce Street and was extremely loud at night due to vehicles and that with the noise from an older AC vent made it really difficult to sleep. It also looked like the comforter had been stained by a previous guest.
