    Despite these maintenance issues, the staff was friendly and did their best to assist guests. Hopefully these problems are temporary and will be addressed soon, as the hotel has the potential to provide a much better guest experience.

    Thee lobby and dining area was very hot…not sure why. So that was uncomfortable, but the room felt fine. (Hopefully that gets resolved as the summer peaks) The tidy was tidy. BUT: Corners of the room had debris and hair that I know wasn’t ours so the place could’ve been cleaner. (Just a critic)

    The staff was amazing! Day and night crew were both super friendly and helpful. David woods definitely saved the trip for me! The only downside was the elevator, one was down so the other had a bit of a delay. Breakfast was well stocked and staff was quick on refills if needed.

    The experience was disappointing. The staff was often unhelpful and appeared to ignore guest requests. I frequently observed an employee using their phone instead of assisting guests or focusing on their responsibilities. The service quality needs significant improvement.

    The property has multiple maintenance issues, including a malfunctioning elevator system. The buttons on the third floor do not work, guests are instructed to call the front desk for elevator service, and the front desk repeatedly fails to answer. Because I have a sprained foot, I have been forced to use the stairs multiple times. In addition, the pool has been closed and there are substantial maintenance issues throughout the property. These conditions were not disclosed ON EXPEDIA when I booked, and key advertised amenities are unavailable.

    The beds were referred to as "Flintstone" type beds by my 18 year old and I agree. The a/c was out in the front desk area and when we checked in it smelled like weed. I'm not criticizing, just its harder when you are traveling with someone with reactive airway disease. The elevator was a bit scary with the sounds and kinda jolts when it stops. The pool was not open which I would have liked to be notified before check in and I would have moved the reservation elsewhere as it was a hot summer day and my 18 and 21 year olds wanted to swim. The night staff was kind when my husband spoke to her but the day staff on both days to check in and out could have been nicer. Facial expressions showed frustration but maybe they were uncomfortable as it was hot in there. None of us were crazy about the breakfast. The eggs were referred to by my 21 year old as they tasted like from egg drop soup minus the soup part. They definitely had weird flavor to them and I'm not sure were thoroughly cooked. I think the sausage could have been cooked more. The room was pretty clean overall. We went to the area for a concert and meeting family the next morning or I would have left the hotel and went back home after the concert. I also was not crazy about a $75 hold fee for incidental. I get hotels charge a fee but $75 on top of the room rate was excessive in my opinion. I expected a better experience with Hyatt on the building. I wouldn't and won't stay here again.

    Upon arrival a nice girl helped checked me in but there was an older man who was helping another customer who was extremely rude to the customer as well as the girl that it turned me off and made me question where was I staying. It was disappointing to witness. It did not help that the AC in the lobby was broken? It was extremely hot. Thank god the hallways and hotel rooms were freezing! I felt like the rest of the employees were all on their phones and annoyed to be working but the place was clean, the hotel was clean (besides the dirty looking pool) and the breakfast was really good for a quick stay I recommend.

    YGE POOL IS CLOSED UNTIL FURTHER NOTICE! We didn't know until we got there and the pool was one of the main reasons we booked there. My kids were so upset and cried before we even got to the room. Call and check before you reserve.

    I love the beds, they were comfortable. The rooms were nice and clean. I didn't realize that the hotel was pet friendly. I didn't like the fact that I had to fix my breakfast and eat in an area with dogs. I am allergic to dog dandruff, etc...I didn't like the fact that there was two elevators and only one was working. The first floor was hot, no air conditioner during breakfast and cheack-in. It was extremely hot in the lobby area.

    Very comfortable bed, clean rooms with plenty of space. Locations is great if you have a car. Everything is within 5min. Couple of negatives: I had a corner room facing the freeway and I had to sleep with earplugs, literally feels like you're on the side of the road. Elevator was not working, not a huge deal and I'm sure they'll eventually fix it. Outdoor pool was out of service.. The comfort of the room and soft beds were enough to bookmark this one for my next trip to Dallas.

    The rooms are nice in size , and clean The main lobby was hot and muggy with no AC and only one Elevator worked . Elevator takes a very long time to come to the floor needed and ended up taking the stairs the whole stay

    Staff was very friendly. Room was clean. Only 1 of the 2 elevators worked, and the elevator buttons did not work on the 3rd floor at all, so you had to call down to the front desk to have them send up the elevator. Another guest told us they stayed there a year before and the elevator was down at that time, so it has been out of service for at least a year. The AC did not work in the lobby, it was very hot and really uncomfortable when downstairs. The pool was closed. We stayed the last weekend of May so we thought it would be open. The room itself was okay. The bathroom has a weird set up and the toilet & shower area was small.

    The staff were very friendly yes ! When I arrived I was so upset that the pool was NOT available without notice or anything! First floor had no AC so breakfast was not pleasant. Only 1 working elevator that seemed to take at least 20 min each time.

    Nothing Lobby had no air. Running fans. Wouldn’t allow me to check in because stayed no rooms. Booking.com listed several available rooms. Would not refund my money either! Awaiting help from booking.com as management refuses to communicate and/or refund my money. Front desk stated refunds are not offered to the third party customers

    Only one good thing about the Hotel was the room. I can honestly say this was not a good experience - pool out of service, elevators did not work, A/C was broke and staff were unpleasant. I do not normally write reviews but this one has to written to let others know to be cautious when booking this hotel. There is a reason that is cheaper than other Hyatt Places.

    Not a single thing apart from location and that’s it Room was filthy upon check-in and never cleaned despite formal complaint. Stained bedding, food debris on floors, hair on surfaces, dirty walls. My two young daughters developed skin rashes and allergic reactions from the unclean bedding. Pool was advertised as available but closed upon arrival with zero prior disclosure. Front desk refused to clean the room same evening, promised morning service that never happened. Complained to GM and Hyatt Corporate — both refused refund without reviewing photo evidence. Worst hotel experience with a major brand.

    First thing that stands out about this property is the customer service! My family really appreciated the promptness and kindness of the front desk with assuring our needs were met. The breakfast was delicious and well worth trying each morning. My only concern was the elevator not being in service. I was told it was being serviced. I would stay here again!

    There were also ants in the room, and the AC unit was visibly full of dust and dirt. I couldn’t use it because it aggravated my allergies, making the stay very uncomfortable. I will say, the staff members I did interact with were great—professional and kind—but unfortunately the overall condition of the property and lack of communication overshadowed that.

    this is our go to hotel in dallas for the rooms, staff, location, and value. This is our 4th time visiting within the last year and we plan to return! the parking was our only difficulty but it was mothers day weekend and hotel was sold out. Parking lot was full but there was also trucks with trailers taking up 5 or 6 parking spots in the back so that added to the problem but hotel staff was great to guide us to a safe place to park.

    The property was extremely hot & humid in the rooms. There were fans in the lobby pointing towards the entrance. The elevator is a complete safety hazard it’s stopped & the door opened repeatedly every floor before even getting to the floor i was staying on which was level 6 everytime we got on it! The other elevator must have been out of order there was no sign however only one worked. The rooms were cleaned decent my sheets were dirty & there wasn’t a phone in the room to contact customer service. Breakfast was okay i’m not a fan of buffet style food i assumed it would be more covered & at least hot or warm if not provide a microwave. The pool was 3ft didn’t even bother. Overall 3/10 experience won’t be booking here ever again.

    The room was clean and basic. The staff were very short tempered and seemed put off by requests for malfunctioning keys. One of the two elevators were broken and the functional elevator sometimes just simply refused to run. Was told there would be gated parking but the gate never closed. All in all 5/10 needs updates.

    Water was shut off on our second day from 9 AM to 4 PM. Staff did not notify us prior to any inconvenience. we were not able to take showers or use the bathroom. they failed their fire inspection, which caused them to have to fix a water problem immediately. Maria at the front desk was rude and laughed in our faces. Whenever we asked what they were gonna do about the inconvenience she said that they had posted signs on the elevators that they posted after everyone went to the front desk upset that no one could take showers. They did not refund or offer any kind of compensation for the inconvenience. also, they had an elevator that was not working only one elevator for the whole hotel and our first day there we got woken up to fire alarms going off constantly.

    We loved our girls weekend away. Batman (Zion) was so awesome, helped us the whole weekend and made sure we had a great stay. He was very professional and went above and beyond, making sure we were comfortable, had everything we needed and made us laugh more than we can count. You have great staff. Your hotel is beautiful and has a great lay out. We were a little sad that the outside pool was closed for repairs but we will let that slide. As the room was very nice, the AC worked well and the water pressure was amazing!

When I explained to the night mgr at check in, he argued and got very loud and rude that no one there told me that.I showed my phone call log. He continued to argue. There was no reason for that. He also hung out with his buddies in the lobby, very unprofessional. BUT the property was clean, the breakfast was WONDERFUL!

    The property was average at best. The rooms are super tiny. The bathroom makes you feel claustrophobic. No drawer space to take clothes out of luggage. Literally 2 drawers for a family of 5. The pool wasn't open, but it didn't look clean. Work-out area was meh. The staff was nice, but not around very much. First night, I was told the room I had reserved was not available anymore, and they tried to give me a smaller room. The room I got was on the 3rd floor, and the elevator didn't go down, so I had to take the stairs all week. Elevators were dirty, and I felt very skeptical getting into them. Check out ther was nobody at the front desk. Multiple people just left their key cards at the front because they got tired of waiting. Just an overall bad experience, I will not be going or recommending this hotel to anyone.

    breakfast was not great, nothing looked fresh and it was very plain. Door slamming all night long. It sounded like people were in and out all night. Apparently there was a fight on 03/06/26. The cops showed up and were interviewing people involve in the issue this happened in the morning.

Rooms were super spacious and clean, Only issue was the elevator went out so the whole weekend we had to walk up and down 5 flights of stairs anytime we went somewhere. Wouldn’t have been the biggest deal but I’m recovering from a car accident so climbing up and down stairs was not the greatest choice for me. Other than that I would of gave it hotel 5 stars

    I feel that a refund is in order. We called before we were to arrive and ask for a crib and were told they didn’t have cribs and offered no solution. We arrive on Thursday pm very late, they put us in a room directly across from a malfunctioning elevator that slammed shut every five minutes with no one on it. Kept us awake all night including our 1 year old. We asked to be moved to another room and ask for a bathtub while we ate breakfast in the lobby that had no air conditioning which was miserable. They moved us to a room with no bathtub again so we had to move our luggage for a third time - this room Had 2 double beds not a king. We left the hotel and when we came to change for dinner the elevators were out so we had to climb 5 flights of stairs carrying a toddler. Then when we came back from dinner they told us in the non air conditioned lobby the elevators would be out for a week. So we had to climb 5 flights of stairs again. Carrying pack and plays and luggage and a toddler down 5 flights again to leave. All of this was unacceptable to say the least. I feel a refund is in order and I will also be contacting Hyatt. Expedia should have been advised of the state of the hotel and contacted us to make other arrangements. Expedia itinerary 73280548708454. Booked 10/21. We were in Dallas to visit my 88 year old grandfather/great grandfather who is a resident of Presbyterian village North. I can be reached at 504-210-7492 for any further information. I expect a refund imm!

While we were in our a room, another guest was given our same room and a key for it and keyed into our room. She was horrified and we were also horrified. The staff didn’t offer us anything other than “sorry that happened”. It was incredibly unprofessional. This is neither here nor there but it also seems that people may be living out of this hotel. People were yelling down the halls and at one point people were having a verbal altercation at the end of the hall. It was a HORRIBLE experience. The staff didn’t seem to care at all. One of the staff members was outside smoking cigarettes multiple times when we came in and out. I expect Hyatt’s to be clean and nice and this one was not.

    Worst stay ever. Upon arrival I attempted to add my husbands name so he could check us in since I was nursing my son. The front desk lady however would not allow this saying it was impossible to add a name. When checking in the facility was unbearably hot as the ac was out. We were then given a room on the 5th floor that we did not have access to as both elevators did not go to the 5th floor. When we went back the front desk the lady said there was nothing she could do so we asked for a refund but then were told she can open another room on the 3rd floor. We also did not have access to this floor via the elevator and the only way we could get up or down from the room was if we took the stairs with 2 small children, our luggage, and me being 8 moths pregnant. Once we get to the room there was trash under the couch, the bathroom was dirty, and we paid for 2 queen beds and were given 2 full beds. At this point we were exhausted from a day a traveling and tried to make do. The toilet seat was loose and broken and both my son and I fell through. Luckily my husband was able to tighten it enough to get us by until the morning. All night the fire alarm kept going off and flashing a bright green light. We could hear everything going on outside the hotel: gunshots, emergency responders, traffic not to mention all the commotion in the hotel itself. When checking out we requested a printed receipt for our records but were told they were unable to do so. I would not recommend this stay.

    Was given a king room on the 3rd floor. Went to the front desk and the front desk representative kept stating you have a pull out bed. Excuse me I paid for 2 queen beds to ensure that everyone would be comfortable. Asked to be moved was told they were booked but I could possibly be moved the next morning. THAT DID NOT HAPPEN. Had to get an air mattress. Had to call the front desk several times to get fresh towels. Placed dirty towels outside the door the towels were not replaced. Very disappointed I have never had any issues

    Our adult son was in a nearby hospital for cancer treatment and this hotel was very close and convenient. After we booked, I read several bad reviews and was worried that we had made a mistake but this was a spur of the moment trip and we decided to hope for the best. We couldn’t be more pleased. Staff was so nice and accommodating. The room was clean and comfortable. It was a nice place to stay during our son’s treatments. Parking was free and convenient. Breakfast was okay, not the best, but included in price of room which was reasonable for location and convenience. Will stay there again on next trip. We did a review on the hotels site as well and the manager reached out to see how our son is doing. That speaks volumes to us.

    Property was decent and clean. Checked in on a Friday and there was plenty of parking. When we returned for the night on Saturday, there was no parking at all available. When counter agent was asked what was alternative, she got defensive and said “what do you want me to do? We are full and this always happens on the weekends”. There is no ability to park anywhere else because the freeway is right next to hotel so that wasn’t an option. Luckily there was someone leaving so we got that space but there were 3 additional cars looking for a space. It appears they just made their own spots.

    I didn’t feel our cars were safe outside the gated parking. Apparently there was a computer upgrade and customers waited 20-30 minutes to check in. I waited 40 min just to get a new towel and coffee for the room. Breakfast was less than desirable on Friday. The sausage was well done and the eggs and French toast sticks wouldn’t feed to my dog. The yogurt was warm. Another variety of bagel would be nice too.

    The front entrance staff was so kind and helpful and worked to find me a room to get in quite early without extra fee because we had to pull over due to driving fatigue and she, I think, could tell how exhausted we were. Another lady needed her stay extended while her family was in the hospital a block or two away and she was so kind about that situation and very empathetic with the customer.     Hotel room: it was clean when we arrived, a little humid. However even after requesting it to have the garbage taken out and clean towels it was never done. NOT ONCE did they come to clean it; thought I saw the front desk lady write our number. She told us they didn't clean rooms only upon request. I tried to use the Iron for my clothes but the iron literally fell apart. I asked a cleaning lady for another and she said oh we dont have anymore… but well look for one. She brought one… also didnt look in good shape. Front reception: Was absolutely awful. One night a receptionist was smoking outside while I waited for towels, two other people were also waiting for her. In the morning a receptionist was annoyed when I asked for my room to be serviced. The prices on water bottles were insane! $4.50 for a bottle of water! Save yourself dont stay here it was an awful experience.

    Terrible experience. The elevator was not working and had to call the front desk every time we needed to go down so that they could send the elevator up. The wait would be long we so had to use the stairs and that was very inconvenient. The cold water was not working in our bathroom. Extremely hot and boiling water was coming out. We let it run for over 30 minutes and it would change. We made sure to turn the knob around to make sure, but it was the same. There was no way at we could shower like that. We called the front desk to notify them, but the lady said that she didn’t know what to do. We ended up using the ice bucket and pour water from the sink and go back and forth to the restroom. The sink cold water was working as it should. It was 5 of us and it was a nightmare showering that way. Will not be back this hotel.

    The pool was not appeasing to the eye — the bottom of it was dirty. There where pigeons flying all around going in and out of it, and the overall decor was tasteless and tacky. There was a tons of dead flies at the end of my hallway on my floor, dead and then looks like they were just left on a window, which totally disgusted me, knowing that house cleaning and walks past them every day and doesn’t decide to clean them up.

    This Hyatt felt overhyped and underwhelming. One elevator was out of service, leading to long and slow waits. Breakfast was average at best. While the staff was courteous and friendly, the rollaway bed sheets were ripped and torn, which was disappointing. The property overall feels outdated and could use some renovation. I didn’t use the pool, but it looked fine from a distance. Parking was gated and free. pricey, especially considering the limited amenities and overall experience.

    When I arrive there, I went to go onto the elevator, and when I was going to my floor each floor, it went past. It stopped and shook. That’s when I decided I would take the stairs, and I was never told of any problems with the elevator, my entire stay, there was a small note on the elevator doors that you had to be looking for to notice, but they never said to take the stairs or anything, and I saw most guest use the stairs as well

    We were on the 3rd floor, it was easier for us to use the stairs to go down and the elevator to go up due to whatever issues they're having wth that. Breakfast was ok, I'm not a fan of it unless there's waffles which they didn't but they had fresh fruit, hot and cold cereal, orange and apple juice, eggs, sausage and hash browns, muffins and toast. While my husband was having breakfast i enjoyed the coffee and i did notice that once they ran out of the fresh fruit, it was not refilled so it you want variety get there right at 7. They also have gated parking so that's a plus and from what i saw the pool was open. My only ick was that the second day when i called for fresh towels the woman that answered the phone left me on his for about 10 minutes then sighed in annoyance with my request, but i got my towels so I paid no attention to her.

    What was initially a short visit turned into a five-day stay, and throughout that time, I found the room to be impeccably clean, quiet, and secure. Every member of the staff I encountered was warm, professional, and eager to assist, which made my experience all the more enjoyable. As my family lives nearby, I fully intend to return in the future.     The staff was very nice and accommodating, helping me the best they could. I found a full size cockroach crawling in my room as I was getting ready for bed. Again, the front desk did their best to fix it, but theres little that could’ve been done on their part. Both elevators are terrible/broken and the ice machine didn’t work on my floor (5th). Went down to floor below and got ice, however when I tried calling the elevator I noticed a sign over the buttons that said “they’re broken, please use stairs or call front desk to call the elevator for you” just very very old I don’t think it stands up to other 3 star hotels in the area

    The room I was in had mold in the shower, the commode would not flush, the TV would not work, they said due to the weather and the bed was very uncomfortable. I took pictures of everything. When I was checking out the same staff member that checked me out at the front desk, also was setting up for the continental breakfast items. I saw her leave the front counter and walked straight in the buffet area didn't wash her hands, stirring something, lick her fingers and wiped her hand on her clothes and continued the food preparations.

    The stay was good, the staff was friendly, the pool was closed which is one of the main reasons we chose this hotel was for the pool, so it was disappointing as we met family there and had lots to kids that were excited to go swimming.

    Had a dead bug in the picture frame in the bathroom. There was sticky stuff all over the handle to my room and on the floor in my room. Duct tape in the elevator (only 1 of the two were working). Overall very run down and not taken care of. Will not be staying here again!
