Was in Dallas for convention, stayed at convention most of the day both days. Room was clean, place was quiet, just what I wanted. Would stay again.

Room was clean and worked well for a short stay. The property is centrally located with good access to major roads and highways. Staff is kind and helpful. Billing an extra $100 for "possible damage" and refusing to check the room after I checked out (while I was still present). I was told they would only check after I had left and then assess any damage fees. Very shady practice.

Eat check in and check out. Doors to the interior required key for entry. Was able to park right outside the front doors in the first parking space under the security cameras. In-n-out burgers right next to hotel. The staff was friendly. Free WiFi. No breakfast included. Not altogether the cleanest facility. Some areas had a weird smell. My daughter pointed that out. Window curtains in the room wouldn’t close completely letting in light from outside that was on all night. There were some spots of dark mildew in the bathtub/shower. Shower curtain was on a curved rod and wouldn’t stay closed by the wall on either end leaving about a 1 foot gap on each end.

Everything was great. The only problem was that the people in the room next to us played loud music till 10:30 pm and then again at 6:30 am.

I loved the size of the rooms everything was convenient the housekeepers were nice The girl at the front desk always got a attitude I hate when I can't see my car cause it's a lot of people walking around in that area I read the hotel rules and it say no noise between 10pm to 7am and I was playing my music at 830am and the girl from the desk said she had complaints about my music and I told her what the policies said that thay put in the room and no I didn't turn my music down cause it was not during policy times she a rude

Close to many dining options and bus stop. The first room we got had hair and dirt on the bed. We requested a new room and it was better but smelled like cigarette smoke. The building smelled like weed, cigarette smoke, or very strong cleaning supplies. Not a very clean or good smelling place.

Loved how continently located this property was!!! Well, the only thing we didn’t love was when we walked in, there was a roach. My boyfriend took care of It, but it freaked me out. Would be nice to have a free breakfast in the morning too

It was close to everything. It is conveniently located by the highway major restaurants are super close. Perfect location and the security is very good. I love how there are no stragglers hanging around the hotel and it was clean around the property. I have no complaints

I would like to say that upon my arrival to check in the guy of the front desk was a bit rude when it came to splitting the payment up on the room charge, the switch of the room had roaches, and just really wasn’t up to par.

Super lowkey and pleasant stay, some interesting neighbors but also good conversation. No pets! Just keep that in mind and Dallas in general is not very pet friendly! Pool area so nice during this time of year (spring) but there is not hot tub and it is outside. Staff was direct and friendly also understanding and overall just a very straightforward and normal stay lots of space in the room not necessarily super fancy however!

All the receptionist I encountered were nice. There was one specifically that during my return from being out came to help me hold the door since my hands were full with shipping bags and dinner. The property was always clean and quiet, as far as guest goes. I only heard once towards the weekend, someone in the hallways being louder but wasn’t for long. I liked that if you want a burger, in and out is walking distance and so is coffee and other little shops. The traffic and construction at night was terrible! Right outside my window, you can hear it ALL! Non stop all night. Construction going at 1 am too! Besides the king size bed being hard as a rock, the noise level of traffic makes me rate this lower than I would. It really was that bad. Perhaps it was the 3rd floor where I was staying, idk.

The Hotel Alexis is a unique property. The hotel has a vintage feel that I like. The size of the place is a nice throwback to the more grandiose Hotels of the past. The rooms, even simple queen and king rooms, aren't cramped and have real furniture that's modern but solid. It's well built like most older construction and the noise level in the rooms is fantastic. I can't remember the last time I stayed in a quieter place. The other side of such a large property is the upkeep. They have a "garden area" and pool opposite the hallway from each other that could be a shining feature like I'm sure it used to be. Alas, the pool was clean but that's about it. Nothing more. The garden area was overgrown and unusable. The old ballroom was blocked off and blacked out The outside of the property was overgrown and in need of considerable upkeep and repair. Overall, this place is a bargain. The room is what matters the most at the end of the day and for the money, it's clean and QUIET! Would not hesitate to stay here for business travel again. If atmosphere is also on your list, maybe look elsewhere.

The room was clean The staff and the manager we were assigned a room and when entered it reeked of cigarette smoke. Went downstairs and requested another room. Jasmine assigned us another room which was fine and smelled clean. The scary part was she failed to switch us in the system and later that night the room was assigned to another customer with a huge dog who opened our door and scared the heck out of us! The manager just told us it was a lack of communication among the staff. To top it off the night staff kept arguing with my husband when he called guest services to report the incident. Telling no one should be in that room and we should come down to the front desk!! How the heck did she think we got in the room if we weren't given keys REALLY????? The only thing the manager offered us was 50% and since we paid through Booking.com we had to go through them to get the 50%!!! We will not be staying here again for sure.

The hallway and the rooms of the hotel smelled musty. Also the hotel is non-smoking, but you can tell people smoke marijuana in their rooms. The walls are very thin as I could hear the people next door very easily as their kid was screaming and they were talking loud until 2am. Thankfully I was able to switch rooms the next day.

No breakfast the whole hotel smelled like marijuana the morning I was getting ready to leave. My truck was broken into nothing was stolen because I walked out on them. They had security walking early in the morning did not have the abilities pull up the camera footage although they said they would email it to me when the supervisor got there. Seemed like people were living in it more like an apartment complex than a Hat hotel. The staff was very nice. The beds were very hard for the price reflects these stay cheap price for a cheap stay in a rough neighborhood

Overall great experience little on the pricey end of choices I have to say one of the more quiet stays I ever had in a hotel it's nice to not hear every door open up in the hallway all night long didn't hear a single door nothing not sure what was going on up stairs periodically through out the night nothing to complain about if it was 25 dollars cheaper I'd never take my business anywhere else this would be my go to number 1 pick

Shower didn’t have running water. Room was supposed to be non-smoking and smelled heavily of cigarettes and marijuana.

Old property old rooms, weird smell so they put air freshener in room thy mix with funk and produce a new smell that is not pleasant. Rough area so not pay more than 100.. it’s a 50 Motel. It is the same as a Motel 6. Some Motel 6 are better. Go there only if you need to sleep and get up. Not for pleasure and relaxation

Older motel type facilities. Very basic. Room seemed to be recently refreshed and was clean. The are is not great. A lot of homeless on Coit. I did experience any at the hotel but they are across the street. One banged on my door at the light at Coit. As a single woman traveling, I think this is important to know.

Unfortunately, my experience quickly went downhill. My first room had mold growing both inside and outside the window, apparently due to damage from a gunshot. To their credit, the front desk immediately moved me to another room on the second floor, which was clean and free of mold. However, once the evening hit, the noise issues began. The guests above me were extremely loud—running, stomping, and dragging furniture late into the night, sometimes until midnight or later. For the next two days, it was the same constant noise and loud music. While the front desk would get them to quiet down temporarily when I complained, the noise always returned within an hour. On my last night, the situation was even worse: the neighbors next door blasted music until 6 AM, while the upstairs guests kept up their stomping past 1 AM. I had an early flight and barely got any sleep. On top of that, the parking lot at night didn’t feel safe, with homeless individuals camping out. At one point, I couldn’t even walk next door for food without a car pulling up to solicit me. Overall, I would not recommend staying here. Despite the kind staff, the noise, safety concerns, and general environment made this a very unpleasant experience.

From start to finish this hotel stay was a fiasco. The workers are illiterate and rude. There were prostitutes walking through the parking lot. They charged me for smoking when no one in our group smokes. We definitely don’t recommend, nor will we be back.

The room had wet carpets which we had to put towels on the tile, we almost fell because our feet was wet. I appreciate it was very clean but they should have dried the carpets before putting guest in there first. The lady in the floor above us stayed up.all night and kept us awake. Sounded like she was bowling. I would stay again but hope it was quiet and not wet.

The security they have is amazing. Not anyone can just walk in and go to the rooms. The rooms are big and the carpets seemed very clean like new. The king bed was everything I needed to have a good night sleep. We enjoyed our stay.

It was great until someone down the hall started yelling Fbombs at his wife and it went on for WAY too long, They took a break but started up again. I couldn’t help but wonder if it was someone who lives on the property as no one seemed to do anything about it.

The hotel staff was super nice! The hotel itself was a little dated. The pillows were super hard. The hotel had a strong marijuana smell in the lobby area. It was not a bad stay for the price.

The front desk was rude, they made us give a big deposit, there was a big roach in our room. The did not offer breakfast, not even coffee, no ice available either. Bad choice

Property didn’t look like the photos, it’s run down, reeked of marijuana in the halls. Paint peeling off walls, floor uneven, holes in the curtains, shower curtain was torn, chair had leather flaking off, and don’t recommend a room by the outside door. Door scraps and squeals every time it’s opened and slams itself shut

Room was clean as always. This time the refrigerator didn’t work and the remote was missing for the TV. They let you pay your deposit in cash which is great! They have vending machines and restaurants near by. I have always enjoyed staying here. Unfortunately, they have some sketchy people walking around because of the area (not their fault). Nothing bad to say about the property!

Property did not have a baby bed as stated on my reservation. The quiet time did not happen because upstairs people jumped around half the night. People smoking weed all over the property. We found a roach in the room. Charged 100 dollar deposit not stated upfront and added an extra 40 dollars over my receipt amount.

It’s an older place needs to updated especially for the price they charge. Bed was ok need to update tub.

This was not a very pleasant experience. We booked a room for one night, the first thing we saw when we arrived to the room were two roaches. We switched rooms, however it did not give us peace of mind. The hotel has a strange smell throughout, which they try to mask with air fresheners/scents. Just the whole vibe was icky.

I was attending an event on the second floor; however, I could not enter my room without going down to the first floor and then get into the room areas.

For the price point I was pleasantly surprised with how great this hotel was. I really enjoyed my stay.

When we arrived, It was busy. We waited maybe 5mins in the lobby. The young lady in the front was very nice, I loved her good vibes. The building inside is beautiful! Our room was on the second floor, in the corner! Perfect when we came down the stairs, and the door was there for us to park! The room was spacious. The bed was a little hard but we managed. The only thing I saw that was a little nasty, was hair in the sink. But all in all we enjoyed our stay! We will return soon! Thank you for a great stay!

It's simple not a lot of amenities; but it fit my needs. There are a lot of homeless people in the area around here; sadly it seems to be that way in a lot of places around Dallas. So far, we've had no problems. If you are traveling by yourself; just keep your wits about you.

We had a microwave which didn't rotate to cook like it was designed. Within 12 hrs, the microwave was changed out! The cleaning staff was quick and amazing. What the associate did in 15 minutes was incredible: mopped, dusted, changed out sheets, restocked amenities and cleaned the shower! Being in Dallas, you'll always have to deal with the homeless and other vagabonds. Although I wasn't approached by any of the homeless, one has to realize that this issue is NOT the hotel's fault! The homeless etc., are everywhere in Dallas. My in-law was in a local hospital, and they were there too! There is no doubt that if there had been any external problems, the authorities would have been called! The staff was also amazing during our 2-day and week long stay. In fact, we're booking another week long stay!

When we walked in the building it was noticeably poor quality, inferior finishes, cheap, but the most overwhelming sense was that they were getting to mask an odor by over perfuming the lobby but as we went up to our room we found that to be the case everywhere. We asked to cancel our reservation and stayed someone else. Guest services were kind and accommodating but told us we would need to file up with Expedia for the credit.

Totally fine for a cheap hotel adjacent to a large freeway interchange. Convenient to loads of fast food.

It’s a nice hotel, the room was nice, the bed was nice, showers and proximity to highway were my biggest problems. Other than that, I would stay again for $70/night.

Staff very nice. Not to happy with my pillows. My son's pillows were okay. Lots of people hanging out in front of hotel. That are not guest there. They did have security.

Alexi Hotel has al the basic services one needs. It is simple, but clean and they provide all the items in the bathroom needed, except shampoos. They clean Tuesdays and Fridays. The location is great. They have a swimming pool and a gym, and meeting room. The internet in the bedrooms is quite efficient. The parking is free. The price was competitive and affordable.
