I have no idea why this hotel is rated so well at an 8. It is very dirty and it looks like the hallways have literally never been vacuumed. Our hallway had a terrible smell. The room was clean enough, but I would never stay here again.

How close it is to everything They kept my deposit because liquid spilled in the bed as if they couldn’t just wash it . They threw away items I left in my room after telling me they were still there and available . They let me come 45 minutes back and waste gas just to tell me they grew my stuff away

Me and my family was in room 407 the ac was not working at all it was hot all night we called the front desk nobody answered and we basically was in a hot room tell 3 the next morning before they switch us to smoking size room

I waited at least 25 minutes to get checked in while the lady at the desk stayed on the phone. When I was the only person there.I could not believe the room I was giving. No smoke detector & wires hanging from where the smoke detector should have been. I emailed the manager and provided pictures with no reply. I killed 2 coacroches and was unable to wash my face or brush my teeth because a cockroach would not leave the sink after trying to kill it. The room smelled old like mold and I pulled the shower curtain back and it had nothing but mold around it. When you turn the air conditioner on nothing but old musty dust. Don't waste your money here. This place has gone downhill.

Breakfast is bare bones. Most of the thins don't work. Even after leaving messages for the manager to call me, he never did. Even for free I would not stay there.

I love the parking and check out time

The atmosphere around the hotel also felt questionable. At one point, police were blocking the entrance and searching vehicles coming into the driveway, which definitely did not make the place feel safe or welcoming. Next door is a liquor store where all the crackheads and prostitutes hang out and pour into the hotel area there's three hotels in this area The complimentary breakfast was mediocre, people from the nearby Motel 6 regularly came in just to load up plates and leave with food. Oddly enough, the cleaning lady appeared more concerned about it than the actual hotel staff. One employee even admitted they didn’t bother stopping it because it would create too much conflict. The pool area was very humid, and the water temperature was strange — not warm, not cold, just kind of cool like tap water. The carpets on the 4th floor were also dirty and looked like they hadn’t been cleaned properly in a long time. The one positive I can give this hotel is that the beds were comfortable. Other than that, this was not a stay I would repeat.

Breakfast was standard. The breakfast area was nice and clean. There was a lack of variety in the bagels. Also, one toaster is not sufficient for the number of guests. Additionally, there should be an easily accessible water fountain in the lobby. Please note these are suggestions, not complaints.

An emergency occurred, we did not make it & I completely forgot about the booking, due to the emergency at hand. They drafted my card anyways & refuse to refund me, so I’ve paid for a stay that I never had. Do not reccomend

The beaskfast was prepared very well and on time, the area was clean and the help was available when I needed it. the room service and house keeper was on time. the bed was very comterable, I am very satified. the ice machine was broken . the smell on our floor was a little loud. but over all I was am satified.

My son got bedbugs bites from the crib they gave us he is 5 months old and when I bought the issue to management they were rude and less helpful. the health department was contacted and legal action is pending

Fake reviews don’t stay here. As soon as you pull up, you’re greeted by homeless people. The hallways smell terrible, and the room was nasty. The front desk did not want to provide a refund and also did not return the security deposit after leaving.

I booked a double queen room and upon entering my room, the first thing that greeted me was a wave of hot air. The AC in the room was disassembled and wires were all over the place. When I told the front desk about the issue, I was told that they didn’t have any other double queen rooms and they offered a king bed. I told them I specifically PAID for the 2 queen beds because we're a big family and requested 2 single rooms instead. I was told the OWNER said that they couldn’t “give me” a “free” room! I just wanted the 2 BEDS I PAID for! Unbelievable! I got charged more for the “extra” room than my original reservation cost. It’s not right treating a guest like this. I understand things happen, but when they do, the guest should be made whole and all efforts made to accommodate, not treat them like an inconvenience.

when I got to room main light burnt out, tv remote didn't work. When I took remote to desk clerk exchanged right away and with in a few hours light was fixed. Overall was good stay Not enough parking.

I checked in around 11pm on Thursday night, I went straight to sleep, around 1 am I woke up to go use the bathroom and there was unflushed feces in the toilet. I went to the front desk and the lobby assistant offered me a plunger. I wasn’t plunging someone else’s feces, she followed me to the room and took care of it. I’m literally distraught and disgusted

Beds were comfy also The worker when I first came in to check in they told me that “they tried to contact me to tell me that they are over booked” which I had my phone on silence for my drive but there wasn’t any logs of them calling me, but there was a log of me calling to see how long check in was available for since I was arriving later in the night. So they almost gave my room away with no notice.

I’ve stayed at this hotel in other cities before. It’s been a long time since I’ve had such a disappointing experience. Although the hotel looked clean in the photos, that wasn’t the case in reality. The room hadn’t been swept in weeks. There were medications on the floor under the sink in the bathroom. I had a terrible experience and couldn’t sleep because of the poor hygiene.

There are too many bumps, and breakfast could be a bit better. Everyone doesn’t like wet eggs.

Friendly staff and good location Microwave did not work; I tried to use the room phone to call front desk and it did not work. Front desk told me they were sending someone. He didn't come around because there were other rooms with the same problem. Called front desk Sunday morning from my cell several times for clean towels with no answer. We had used towels from Saturday and we had to take bathroom towels to the pool because there were none left. The pool room has mold on big windows. There were abandoned vehicles in the parking lot that took up spaces closer to the hotel all weekend long. All the amenities that I consider when booking for hotels fell flat for this location.

My room door was hard to shut. I had to pull it really really hard on my way out & push it hard till I heard it click. I had to wait forever at the front desk to pay for my snacks. I just left the money there and wrote a note. Went back the next day to get towels for the pool and had to wait. The front desk person wasn’t there again

It was a nice clean room and had a nice fragrance smell to it. It's only 2 miles to the hospital and that was the reason that I booked it. The breakfast was good with a variety of hot food and cold food. Great staff. Great place to stay that's close to hospital.

We immediately packed our items, went to the front desk and requested an early check out due to the contamination. The lady was pleasant and stated that we would need to email the manager proof of the bed bug that we had, and hotels.com for refund. I did email the manager that day and hotels.com two days later. Hotels.com stated that they would try to reach out to the manager for refund and would update me in three days. I was concerned that the manager would not reach out to hotels either as they had not responded to my emails. But my concerns were validated when i found out yesterday that not only could they not reach him, but they would NOT refund me nor only for the entire stay, but also not for the two nights that we didn't even stay there! $500 gone! The room does not get cleaned properly, housekeepers barely remove the trash, the bathroom is ill-maintained, the carpet not clean. The neighborhood isn’t that great. The building definitely needs some renovations. The breakfast quality is bad. Not planning to go there again unfortunately.

We had to stay at the La Quinta due to some unforeseen circumstances, and we had to bring our pets and stay for two weeks. The staff at this La Quinta was extremely kind and accommodating. I cannot recommend this location enough.

Everything was very good. I was impressed by the young lady at front desk staff. She was very courteous, helpful, and adept at her job. The hotel looked very nice, clean, and well updated. The room had enough lights and was clean and comfortable. The breakfast was also quite good. A great value for the price!

The room did not have any air condition. I told the front desk and they had no maintenance worker to fix it nor did i get to switch rooms until the next night. Very uncomfortable.

Good full breakfast buffett. I booked on line so wasn’t sure what I was getting. But I was very pleased with this hotel.

Room was very clean. The floors were clean throughout the hotel. Staff were friendly and helpful. Air conditioning in the room was great and throughout the hotel.

Affordable and well kept

I saw a roach in the bathroom of our room and again in the pool area. The pool was wayyy outdated the staff that worked in the evening was not friendly at all. I don’t know how this place has as many stars as it does.

Weird smell when entering our room. Clicking sound in the walls between entrance and bathroom. From the time we checked into our room (424) there’s a weird clicking sound (like when you flip a light switch) between the entrance and bathroom. Notified the manager the first night who said they couldn’t move us because they were full. Spoke to the front desk in the morning who said the storage door on the roof was open and it’s fixed. Clicking sound didn’t go away the second night and manager notified again, and he said he fixed the problem this time. Welp it still happened the 3rd day. Never offered to change the room. Maintenance came and nothing happened with that or an update. Let them know when I checked out and never offered apology or anything, just was brushed off!

Clean room, comfy bed, quiet location, fridge kept things cold

Hotel is infested with bed bugs. After a four night stay we are leaving with bites all over. We had to bag our belongings, switch out sheets twice, switched rooms to accommodate our stay until our departure approached.

The hotel is located in the back part of two other hotels. Kinda sketchy. Hotel wasn’t bad, it was okay. The breakfast was typical. Sofa bed was very uncomfortable. King bed was hard. Had to change rooms because the first room given to us didn’t have a tv, but Jamie was really sweet and changed our room. Room 212 is very spacious. Not sure if it was a handicap room or not (had a walk in shower) but it worked.

Got hit by the smell of marijuana as soon as we stepped off the elevator. It was noisy very early in the morning. Coming from by the ice machine on the 2nd floor. Someone was playing loud music at the pool and the breakfast was below average from other La Quinta's that I have stayed at.

I used to like this hotel and stayed here many times with family but I feel like the standard of everything there has gone down. They used to have really nice breakfast but this time around not much variety and they changed the settings. Also the room we stayed in was not comfortable at all. It was small and beds were not comfortable as well.

We have now stayed here 4 times. It is convenient to the hospital we go to doctor appointments at. It is clean and usually very quiet. They have an excellent breakfast also.

I was on the 4th floor and it honestly smelled almost like a smokers house. My room sheets were stained and it was noticeable, the chair in the room had a huge dirty mark on it, I always check mattresses at hotels I stay at. The mattress was extremely dirty and yellow stained down the sides.

We stayed overnight at this hotel. The first room’s air conditioning wasn’t working but we were given another room quickly. The speed of service was excellent. The room was clean & comfortable. I would stay here again.

Front staff was great with my check in, but the room was not cleaned properly! There was hair in the sink, and counter. The room was hot, and the t.v only had 10-15 channels, and was the smallest television I have seen in my travels! I stay at LaQuinta weekly for business, and I will never visit this on again! Let’s face it, with the economy the way it is, I need a stay that is budget friendly, but I don’t need it to feel that way!! This stay reminded me how unappreciated I am!!

My daughters volleyball team stayed here so i booked to stay with them. My daughter called me to inform me she had bed bugs in her room. She was moved to another room that also had bed bugs and the mattresses had stains and they found a condom in the room

Place was quiet and the bed was comfy. The phone didn't work and one TV was gone.

Omg where do I start…the worst stay I ever had in my life. This hotel is DISGUSTING AND RAN DOWN! The lobby furniture was torn and dirty. The hotel smelled stinky upon us entering. Our hotel room was HORRENDOUS! I wanted to leave and just lose the money but my husband was exhausted to drive back home 3.5 hrs so we stayed. My kids cried bc they were so grossed out. The walls of the room were DIRTY! The sheets were dirty, the rooms smelled like someone had just cooked dinner in it which wasn’t appealing at all. The towels smelled so bad that my kids and I ended up sharing a couple towels we had brought from home thank God we had those. The staff was ok I mean we didn’t interact with them and the hotel was quiet. Area where it was located look like the ghetto and it was hard to find the hotel. We passed it so many times. I would NEVER in my life stay here again. I’d rather sleep in my car. DO NOT STAY HERE UNLESS YOU ENJOY FILTH. YUCK!

Overall stay what great! Bed was nice. Room has good. Ac works great. But carpet in hall ways needs cleaning. Shower pressure in rooms need to be adjusted. Breakfast bar needs to keep food warm. When we ate it was cold.

The overall presentation of the room was nothing like the photos advertised online. In the pictures, the space appeared bright, modern, and well-kept, but in reality, it looked neglected and poorly maintained. The atmosphere gave the impression that proper housekeeping and hygiene standards were not being followed. Due to these conditions, I did not feel comfortable staying the night and made the decision to vacate the premises immediately. This was a highly disappointing experience and a clear misrepresentation of the property’s quality.

I literally had to freshen up my own room because housekeeping didn’t clean after my first day. I left my room early around 9am and came back around 4pm to see my room was not freshened up and the toiletry replaced. I called the front desk and she said I’d be getting someone at my door with just towels to replace the used one’s. Then I get a call back 1 minutes after saying that I need to bring the dirty towels down to the front desk and get replacements myself. Seriously? My bed and room wasn’t even freshened up either. I worked for the hotel at that point and I paid them for it. After inquiring to the front desk on the inconvenience, she said I could get a free drink from their little snack bar. Unbelievable.

Charged $50 even though I had no charges or damages. Made my very unhappy with them.

The hotel is not in the best area, but the hotel itself is nice, and the room was comfortable and clean. My only qualm about our stay is that one of the rooms caught on fire in the middle of the night (I’m not kidding), and the hotel staff didn’t really do much to check on us to make sure everyone’s OK. We didn’t even receive guidance on evacuating, and summer told they didn’t have to evacuate.

Everything about the room was terrific. My only complaint is the navigation app couldn’t pinpoint hotel location. Please put a clarifier telling those who book this hotel, to turn right at the Super 8, and drive into the hotel complex, then you’ll see La Quinta.

It was nice only prob we had js the doors slam really hard and can hear them all night. Ours we had to pull shut to lock it.

Beds were very comfortable

Everything excellent, but the patio by the pool had open alcohol bottles left behind it was not pleasant when you have a 1 year old and a 3 year old, but everything else !AWSOME!...

Well when pulling in tonthe parking lot there were hookers all in the parking area. If it wasn't so late we would have went else where.

I canceled this booking through the orbit website about a week ago, but went in today and saw that it was still active. I need to not be charged.

Hard to get in and out of this location, but hotel was very nice and the breakfast was pretty good.

While the two staff members on duty remained calm during the fire alarm, there wasn’t enough manpower to properly address the aftermath. Our floor was still wet in multiple areas, particularly in the bathroom, and the carpet was soaked in the first half of the room. The mop was left in the room, so the situation was not resolved. I was genuinely concerned about my husband or myself slipping and falling, especially in the bathroom where the floor was dangerously wet in most of the area. The wetness turned a simple return to the room into a major safety hazard. I mopped and used towels to dry the floor. We only managed about an hour of sleep between the alarm going off and being evacuated. I had worked until 2 am, and the alarm sounded around 3 or 3:15 am. After being evacuated, we had to sit in our car with the fire truck lights flashing around us, making it impossible to sleep. We were then informed that our room had been inspected and that we could return at 6 am. Unfortunately, we had to be up by 7 am for an early doctor’s appointment. After all of that, I had to drive 3 hours back, sleep-deprived, making the trip even more exhausting. We were not offered compensation for the discomfort and risk we had to deal with. Instead my husband was told the $50 deposit would be refunded and we would be sent a message where we could ask for a refund.

Breakfast was not good, even the juice. Room and facility nice and clean. Quiet. We did not use pool or gym so rating is not for those areas.

Older hotel, not so clean. Coffee was terrible. Breakfast ok. Homeless people outside. But good location for proximity of things to do in Dallas.

Honestly everything was going good till i was woken up on the 24th at 3:20ish by the fire alarms. Took the evacuation stairs, told by a staff member that it was a false alarm few seconds later another guest said her hallway was full of smoke. We were out of the building for over 3 hrs finally when we got back in it was past 5:20am. When i woke up i called downstairs to see if they extended the check out time since we lost hrs of sleep and i had to drive back almost 5 hrs to my home town. I was told we were given till11:30 only 30 minute extension. Around 10:30 the alarms rang again i just rushed to get my things and decided to leave the property for the final time..

Our stay here was perfectly fine, except the last night a fire had broke out in a room across from ours and we were made the evacuate. Upon evacuation, some of our belongings were damaged due to the water from the firefighters putting it out. It was upsetting that it had happened at 3 in the morning and our checkout was at 11am, we did not get to enter our room to retrieve our belongings until after 6am. Then, we were to check out.

Not pleased at all with that. Could have been disastrous.

On a positive note, the staff were accommodating and friendly. The hotel smelled really nice and the lobby was spacious and inviting. Beds were comfortable and rooms were as pictured. The hotel was centrally located to get to all destinations quickly.

Room was clean and bed very comfortable. The full breakfast had many choices to include waffle maker.

This property has security and is very clean and nice. The hotel has a firearm restriction but the area around it is suspect. The room was great except the poor pillows. And the sofa was past its prime. We felt the fold out bed under us when we sat on it. Other than that the staff was super friendly and helpful. Parking is limited

The breakfast was very limited, the area seem a little sketchy with people hanging out all hours. Additionally, the charging station was confusing and did not work well even after calling the toll free number, no resolution.

The hotel was extremely dirty, and the housekeeping service was unacceptable. Although breakfast was included, it was so poorly prepared and presented that I wouldn’t even consider it a proper meal. Very disappointing experience overall.

I had a good stay. The room was cleaned daily. The front desk staff was friendly and check in & out were quick and easy. Breakfast was simple but satisfying. There was a swimming pool for relaxing, it was truely a plus.

The hotel was clean and orderly but some things definitely need attention. The toilet never stopped running and the air conditioner was the loudest air conditioner I’ve ever experienced in a hotel room. The location was very convenient to Medical City Dallas, where we were having a procedure done the next morning. It did the job of giving us a clean place to stay the night before that and was super close to a few eating options the night before.

Quick and easy check-in friendly staff they have a indoor pool with a outdoor closed in smoking area. The gas station is within walking distance. Salt Grass and Dennis are right up the road. Driveway kinda hard to find so when you see motel 6 turn immediately hehe. Over all great place

The breakfast was only okay. We stayed for 10 days. At breakfast they ran out of brown bread, eggs and yogurt at some point during the stay. Having access to hot water and coffee throughout the day was great The room door and bathroom door were incredibly difficult to close shut, parking was hard to find in the evening or later, and the area itself was a little bit sketchy. I did appreciate that there was a security officer monitoring the parking lot. I didn’t realize that this hotel takes cash for the rooms, which makes me a little uncomfortable with who the other hotel guest might be. For example, if damage was done to another vehicle or at the hotel, I feel like it’s best to have a credit card on file. As I mentioned before, the staff themselves were lovely.

The property was not in a great area. The breakfast was not impressive. There was mold on my wife’s bagel. I would try a different place next time.
