I booked a smoking room overnight. I got to the motel gave staff my ID and tells them that I have a booked room. He goes to the back with my ID, and comes back out with a piece of paper and puts it on the window. And says is this you they canceled your room. But we can sale the room back to you for regular price. I said that’s ok no thanks. Days goes on I check my account no refund. I calls Expedia to let them know what was going on. They stated well it says your stay was complete, my stay was canceled. So they canceled my stay with me but not with Expedia. Tried to resale me the room at regular price and keep the money I paid Expedia for the room. So if I would’ve paid regular price and or did not pay attention the hotel tried to scam two payments out of me. When they say they canceling your reservation they are not check with who you booked with to make sure it’s canceled

they basically scammed us. made us pay double the amount we were supposed to and saying Expedia cancelled our booking when we called and they confirmed it was not cancelled. Expedia even tried calling the motel and they would not pick up the phone. they then said they were charging more because of the festival (summer smash) and we watched them also do the same thing to other people. room was dirty and also was leaking from the ceiling and the door from the rain, the AC cover wasn't even on all the way it fell off as soon as we touched it, there was burn holes in the blanket on the bed, etc i could keep going on and on i have pictures and receipts of everything. this place is horrible!!

There were 2 other patrons with the same problem. There was an event in the area and they sold our rooms to other people at the last minute for more money. Hotels.com got me another place, but I hope this place goes out of business. Dishonest.

On the positives, the air temperature was easy to control, better than most hotels. The wifi worked well. It is a quick and easy bus ride from Midway, and the hotel is in a neighborhood with good shopping choices (Starbucks, Dunkin Donut, Best Buy, a grocery store). I would not stay in this hotel again.

Not bad for a last minute stay. Check in and out was easy. Staff was nice. Room was fine. Overall okay if you need a cheap last minute place to sleep and arnt too picky.

The only good attributes are that it's near great public transportation & close the airport. Think twice before booking here...

I liked the location and size of the rooms. It was filthy and they were not very accommodating. I cleaned my room myself and purchased supplies to disinfect. Then there were many broken things and too much mold, we left. They offered us a room and an entirely different location about half an hour away but kept the same rate and didn't accommodate the 4 hours we lost.

The staff made me wait 20-25 mins after i got there to check in when i had a concert to go to. i just wanted to shower and get to where i needed to go and they tried to charge my card twice for the stay saying my card declined when i had money on my card.

Their website says it's pet friendly, which is completely false. There was no point in having pillows since they're almost as flat as the actual bed. Props to their ac, works great. There was nobody there to receive keys when I went in. It was an ok stay, but them not taking pets was infuriating.
