Apparently Chicago was quite busy with a bunch of different people events so the hotel was booked for the weekend. I called early in the morning to see if we could do early check in. Unfortunately there was no availability. We were able to put our luggage away while we went to get something to eat. Once we were able to finally get a room the first room was occupied even though their system showed a vacancy. The second room that we had was on a totally different floor. The room was clean however the fridge had an odor. There was also a small stain on the bedsheet. The rooms were recently redone but I don't think I would pick this as a place to stay again.
- 5/5
GM Beth and Lexus in the Restaurant are amazing will definitely stay here again !
- 1/5
The service was poor, but the most concerning issue was during breakfast. Milk was being served to guests even though it had expired more than a week earlier. I have a photo showing the expiration date as evidence. Serving expired dairy products is a serious health and safety concern and should never happen in a hotel that welcomes families and travelers. When paying for a hotel stay, guests expect basic food safety standards to be followed. I hope management takes this matter seriously and improves both their food quality control and customer service to prevent this from happening to other guests.
- 5/5
Really nice hotel. Parking seemed a bit expensive though.
- 5/5
Staff are very nice and helpful
- 4/5
Room was clean and comfortable. The staff were excellent, really helpful with a couple requests.
- 1/5
Bad experience, I recommend to visit this hotel again ever
- 3/5
Smokers blocking door so have to walk through cigarette smoke just to get to room.
- 5/5
This hotel was nice paid 30 for the night.
- 4/5
Checked in on May 29, lobby was very nice, staff was super friendly and accommodating. Room was very comfortable. I would stay here again!
- 4/5
The rooms super clean and bathrooms as well. A few things I would have liked is better lighting in the bathroom. The lighting is a bit dim for us who do our hair and make up. The breakfast was ok. We went down to eat on Saturday morning at ten and to be honest wasn’t much left to eat. I know it was a tad late but having 30 mins left would have liked to have more of a selection. The cook was great offering us anything we wanted when we asked so that definitely made up for it. I just think it was a tad expensive for what we got. I will say that the young lady who checked us in and out made up for anything that we didn’t like. Her personality and smile was very welcoming. There was a young lady that worked at the bar the day that we did have breakfast that wasn’t as friendly and seemed bothered by us asking for bowls and cups but again the cook, GM and other young lady made up for it. Getting to and from the hotel on public transit was super easy. I loved the location and accessibility
- 5/5
Unfortunately, our check-in experience on the evening of May 31 was disappointing. The front desk associate was on a phone call for about ~10–15 minutes while guests waited in line and did not acknowledge anyone waiting. A simple greeting or update would have gone a long way. When we finally checked in, it was difficult to get clear answers to questions about parking and Wi-Fi, and even the handwritten room number was hard to read. I was also disappointed by the booking experience. On Expedia, breakfast and parking were listed as “Available,” with no option to select them separately during booking. I assumed they were included in the room rate, so it was surprising to learn they came at an additional cost. While Expedia may use “Available” to mean “available for an extra charge,” I found that wording misleading. Travelers should not have to search through fine print to understand what is included. On a positive note, the front desk staff the next day were outstanding. They were friendly, professional, answered all of our questions, and provided helpful recommendations about the city. Overall, the property is excellent, but the check-in experience and lack of clarity around additional charges left room for improvement.
- 4/5
The room was clean and the hotel hospitality was good.
- 5/5

- 2.5/5
Location close to restaurants There were cock roaches in the room disgusting
- 5/5
Nice place and good price
- 5/5
Very beautiful right when we arrived, we were greeted bar was great. The drinks were great. Happy hour. You do have to pay for parking, which is a very cheap price. The rooms were very clean. Love the full size mirrors.
- 3/5
it was ok
- 4/5
Breakfast is too expensive at $17 per person. Drinks in the hotel lobby to purchase from their hotel store was 3 months past expiration. Rooms are nice but for a group of 4 adult guests, you’re only allowed 3 towels. That’s not very sanitary to share between adults. Beds and pillows are comfortable.
- 4/5
The hotel and surrounding area were nice. It was very clean, room was comfortable and I enjoyed the shower. My only complaint would be the road outside the hotel … very loud and you could hear it all night long.
- 3/5
Overall the place was very nice. The breakfast we paid for in advance didn't start until 7:30a, which is odd for a hotel so close to the airport. The coffee shop & restaurant both opened later than 7:30 as well...we left at 7:40 and that wasn't enough time to grab breakfast or coffee. We did appreciate the on-brand dove soap throughout!

The staff in the restaurant and front desk were very friendly and helpful. There was not an airport shuttle so I had to get an uber to/from the airport
- 3.5/5
Its a holiday inn Pay to park because its by the airport
- 4/5
It was in a good location right next to a bus stop but it looked like they were fixing the place up and I’m sure it will be great when it’s done but it’s not there yet
- 5/5
The only thing missing was a microwave in the rooms themselves. Otherwise loved all else.
- 4/5
Great staff
- 0.5/5
Absolutely, nothing.

- 3/5
Muffins were stale and bacon was burnt overall breakfast wasn’t up to par

This hotel is quite worn down but was quiet with minimal disruptions.
- 3/5
didn't eat there
- 5/5
Clean Room, helpful staff.
- 4/5
Parking fees should be clearly marked on adds
- 1/5
Broken windows, broken weird staff, no safety precautions
- 2.5/5
Everything was ok besides the bar and food Time's for food and bar
- 2/5
No drinking water in the rooms and breakfast was horrible
- 5/5
We arrived at the hotel early and we were allowed to check in early which was very accommodating. We were initially in a ground floor room, but we requested to be in a higher room and they did oblige. The property was clean and the new decor was very beautiful. The staff was friendly and professional. Would recommend.
- 5/5
Exceptional customer service, fabulously comfortable beds, beautiful decor M/A
- 1/5
The breakfast was terrible $17 and the stuff wasn’t even full so you never even got a good amount of food. Our pillows smelled terrible. We had to spray stuff on them just to be able to sleep on them. The maid never came in the next day to clean. I would not recommend staying there all overpriced.
- 3.5/5
Close to airport No shuttle but was listed having one
- 5/5
Excellent customer service and very accommodating. Great bartenders and food!!!!
- 5/5
3 miles from Midway. Very new property & sooo cute inside. Beds comfy, air conditioning & heat were both fast & excellent. Food from their restaurant was outstanding. Staff was so kind & helpful. Especially Chinci at the front desk (spelling could be wrong). Bed was comfy, good pillows, shower was nice. Keurig in the room was AMAZING. Love this property. Will stay again soon!
- 5/5
Although there was no shuttle to pick us up at the airport, they arranged and paid for an Uber, which was very convenient.
- 1/5
The times post for service was wrong and location was not clear ? was in bar area or where, the cost was high
- 5/5
Paying for parking
- 5/5
Bathroom was super clean...this is something that always scares me about hotel's. I didnt have a microwave.
- 3/5
Clean room, comfortable beds.
- 3/5
There was someone’s leftovers in the fridge and one bed was a bare mattress
- 5/5
Great stay!
- 5/5
Clean rooms and outstanding staff.
- 5/5
The American flag flying in front of the facility was beyond repair and should be replaced or at the least taken down.
- 5/5
Stuff very professional and helpful!!!!
- 5/5
Breakfast was a typical hotel breakfast, was pricey for what you get.
- 5/5
They was no tooth paste
- 5/5
Very Nice and elegant I have to pay to park.
- 2/5
Close to places Had to pay for hotel parking. That’s rip off.
- 5/5
I think parking should be free and they continental breakfast should be free other than that the experience was great
- 4/5
The location was really close to the airport, which was great for early flights. The facility was updated and clean. The staff was very friendly and checked me in quickly. My only complaints are the parking pass process. The have a 3rd party online vender handling the parking. I was charged twice and threatened with a $54 dollar late payment fee via text. My second complaint is that the bathroom door is a sliding door so you don’t get full privacy, there’s a crack that others in the room can see through. I see this a lot more now in hotels but it’s a problem when sharing the room with others such as kids. Not to mention everyone can hear your business.
- 5/5
Super nice, friendly staff. They made my stay a delight. The room was clean and comfortable! Lots of shopping and restaurants nearby.
- 5/5
One night stay. Rooms were clean, comfortable beds and affordable. Close to many restaurants. Breakfast not included in the price
- 0.5/5
No rooms keys worked so security was having to manually let guests into rooms. Slow and unsafe.
- 4/5
But the parking 23$ omg
- 1/5
We had a connection cancelled due to severe weather and got stranded in Chicago late in the evening. I booked this hotel on Hotels.com thinking it had an airport shuttle. It did not. When we arrived, the line to checkin was nearly out the door with one young girl working the desk and clearly using her phone to FaceTime someone who was guiding her through every step, every click of the mouse, etc. She was not trained and should not have been there alone. As a result, we stood in line for well over an hour to get checked in and didn't get to sleep until around 2am. This turned a miserable day into two miserable days.
- 5/5
Great staff , enjoyed our stay , very close to where we needed to be
- 1.5/5
I love the location Night staff is rude and air conditioning wasn't working on a day that was 69 degrees. The entire hotel was extremely hot and was told oh sorry we can turn it down that the maintenance guy thought it was cold . Didn't get sleep due to loud noises of someone running , and repeated opening and shutting the door for hours.
- 4/5
The decore, & the hospitality The price of the snacks & water
- 5/5
Fast, friendly, outstanding service
- 5/5
Nice
- 4/5
Room was nice but need internet in the tv so you can log into your own streaming services.
- 5/5
The stay was good.
- 5/5
Very clean and quite room.
- 1.5/5
The bed I had to pay for parking each day. Paying for parking was not advertised in the price. My key card for my room kept needing to be changed out because it demagnetized whenever I had it in my pocket. This happened 5 times in the 2 days I was there. The breakfast I PAID for was horrible. The buffet was cold and I had to wait 25 min for a single serving of bacon.
- 5/5
Great hotel and location. Staff was excellent, very friendly. Will stay here again.
- 5/5
The room was very clean. The staff was very friendly. Everything was done quickly, so that I was able to do what I had planned for the night.
- 4/5
Required 23.00 parking fee for customers Water leaked all over bathroom floor iafter i showered in the handicapped mobility access room.
- 5/5
Clean room, friendly staff, good conditioning
- 5/5
Clean room, very nice
- 5/5
I really loved my stay! Staff was very polite and friendly! Hotel room was clean! Overall great experience! 10/10 Recommend!
- 4/5
Cheap n accessible plus very neat
- 4/5
Friendly staff, clean room and good onsite amenities
- 1/5
Did not stay, hotel building dark on outside. Felt very unsafe. There was drugs and prostitution around the area. Need a refund. Did not stay after seeing what was going on.
- 3/5
The staff was amazing. We ate at the hotel, that was also amazing.
- 5/5
Great hotel in all
- 2/5
I wish someone would told me about breakfast
- 5/5
Everything No complaints
- 5/5
Clean
- 4/5
Very clean and modern andmodern
- 5/5
There are two concerns- 1. Small bugs almost invisible to the eye. An exterminator once in a while would help. 2. I would not waste my money on the breakfast. Stale bread and pastries, and a lack of variety in a city that boast of the best food in the U.S. is a disappointment. The best part of the breakfast is the free range shambled eggs.
- 5/5
Staff very friendly
- 5/5
Unfortunately, there’s no microwave in the room. All the rest is fine.
- 5/5
Staff very friendly
- 5/5
Excellent
- 3/5
The room was clean & comfortable. However the breakfast that I prepaid for was not worth the money. We arrived when it started which was 7:30 am which I consider late for most hotels. It was inconvenient based on our plans, and nowhere on this app did it say the breakfast times. I should’ve done more research to find that part out. Then the food wasn’t even ready for us to eat from the buffet. They were slowly bringing out food. There were only four people in the dining area, but when we went up to get food they had already ran out of bacon. They kept saying the eggs were on their way, but they didn’t even get set out until after 7:50 am which is when we left because we had to be at an event at 8 am. The staff was friendly, but definitely not prepared for the 7:30 start time. Again, not worth the money. I regret prepaying for breakfast as I only ended up eating a yogurt with some fruit.
- 4/5
The room was spotless and the staff was courteous good service
- 5/5
I was greeted with a smile we checking our room and we were late. They were very accommodating. They have a bar which we went over to eat from. I don’t know the bartender’s real name we were cold to call her TT. She was the very best ever very kind very sociable and friendly. I will be returning to this property the next time I’m in Chicago. I really had a great experience at this hotel with the staff is also includes the manager the hotel clerk, as well as the security guard. I will give my experience at this hotel five stars.
- 5/5
Close to arpt
- 5/5
Friendly staff and clean room
- 5/5
Nice room, chill environment and a super fun staff! Watching the Bears game in the bar was a blast.
- 1/5
They held my credit card for over 30 minutes because something was going on with their cash register. I was really upset because it was ruining my evening and I needed my card. Is there anyway I could be compensated for all of this negative energy that I received from not getting my credit card Back one time
- 4/5
Tbh I was surprised the hotel was clean and as safe as it was! I highly recommend this hotel considering the area.
- 5/5
Beautiful location. Lots of wildlife. Pool was perfect for the kids. Staff extremely helpful and nice. We will return again.
- 3/5
The rooms are outdated, older carpet, bath not draining properly. Our floor smelled of cigarettes. It was noisy when we were there.
- 5/5
The staff herd are friendly and helpful. The hotel is nicely situated for visiting the entire city.
- 5/5
Excellent
- 5/5
The outside of the hotel is plain but once inside it is very nice. The people were professional and friendly. MJ Rose helped us in so many ways to make our stay great. She suggested restaurants and attractions for us. Our room on the fifth floor was recently renovated with nice fixtures and was clean and fresh.
- 4/5
The distance to the airport was great, bed was comfortable. Curtain shades and walls had stains. I wish breakfast was included since we had to pay for parking.
- 5/5
Very helpful staff
- 4/5
The bed sheets had black marks on them but everything else was fine.
- 4/5
Clean and new property. Will come again
- 5/5
I. Will stay here again
- 5/5
This property was the cleanest out of 3 hotels we stayed at In Chicago when we visited
- 5/5
Staff was great! Friendly and attentive, super professional!!
- 3/5
Room was fine. Location was convenient from Midway Airport. Had to pay for parking through separate app which was frustrating.
- 5/5
Muy limpio y bonito
- 4/5
It was fine
- 4/5
Acceptable
- 5/5
The staff was incredible! Very kind. The airport driver went above and beyond. We had an unexpected stay with our cancelled flight. We ended up ordering Giardanos pizza and only wished we had offered the staff some before we started to eat as well had too much!!
- 4/5
I love staying here. I gave it four stars because why do we have to pay for parking.
- 5/5

Amazing place :)
- 4/5
Room was clean, staff helpful & friendly
- 1/5
Never again
- 5/5
The staff was amazing. M.J. and Shay took care of us and made everything perfect. The shuttle drivers were fun and at times went the extra mile to ensure we didn't need to worry.
- 4/5
This is the 2nd time my family and I have stayed at this hotel. We will be returning.
- 5/5
Front desk staff super friendly and helpful! Room was clean and spacious. Plenty of food options close by. Convenient to Midway Airport.
- 5/5
Nothing really unique…just met my needs for my weekend stay
- 5/5
The hotel is very clean. The staff are very friendly. They have free shuttle to and from the airport every 30 minutes which is convenient.
- 5/5
It was very peaceful
- 3/5
Could have cleaned the room better
- 3/5
Hotel needs improvement
- 4/5
Good location nice and clean inside
- 5/5
Loved my stay
- 3/5
Not worth the money
- 4/5
I liked MJ and Melton
- 3/5
Pay for parking and breakfast. I you are dropping $180 for one person at least have non paid parking. $20 per night is resiculous for your guests.
- 3/5
Is a average service
- 5/5
Trash around the outside and surrounding blocks. Noisy on the street side during the day. Factory lot on the back lot.
- 1/5
Horrible service from lady named MJ.. very rude and tried charging extra for things I had included already! I would like a refund or some sort of credit.. Please and Thanks.
- 5/5
Everything was great . The only problem was the struggle to find a parking spot every time we r back at night
- 5/5
Very clean and convenient, less than 2 miles from MDW, modern & chic. Staff is very friendly. Key card is required to access the elevator. I felt very safe as a solo, female traveler. $50 flat incidental fee. Recommend! 5 stars
- 5/5
Great⭐️
- 5/5
Great service
- 2/5
I guess it was a decent accommodation for a last minute trip. The worse thing was to have to pay for parking to park at the hotel! That is crazy to me. There are no other parking lots or any street parking so you have no choice.
- 1/5
NEVER AGAIN!! You have to pay for parking on an open lot, no gates. Noisy and super busy area. Traffic horrible. Parking lot is small and not adequate for all the traffic. Breakfast costs. Very minimal basic channels. I will never stay here again.
- 4/5
Lack of parking and littering around the building.
- 5/5
.
- 4/5
Very bad lighting in the bathroom!
- 5/5
Staff accommodation
- 4/5
Place was good to stay , very friendly staff , bed was comfortable the only thing I didn't like was there was a smell in the room.
- 4/5
Pretty decent getaway spot minus the sneaky deposits for parking and holding fees that aren’t as apparent upon booking. The parking fee is really unnecessary. It’s not downtown Chicago. I liked my room but would’ve appreciated more light in the bathroom. It’s kind of dangerous only having a dim mirror light and no overhead lighting.
- 1/5
I was extremely disappointed in my stay. Outside of the hotel, there was a large piece of metal in the road. Every time a car drove over it, it made a large noise. I tried to call the front desk and they were unable to change our room. We were on a family trip and my kids and I were unable to sleep due to the constant noise. There were also stains on the bedsheets. I was extremely disappointed. I tried to call the front desk and hotels.com for help and wasn’t given any type of refund/compensation. I’m very disappointed. The price for parking was also very steep considering we weren’t downtown. I will not stay at a holiday inn again and am very disappointed in hotel.com’s response.
- 4/5
I love my stay but parking the way you have to pay separate party
- 5/5
Everything was good
- 4/5
Hotel is good for the price. Staff is friendly. Beware you must pay for $20 for parking.
- 5/5
It was a nice place to stay! It was clean and the staff was friendly & helpful.
- 3/5
Average
- 5/5
Great stay parking was so expensive though.
- 3/5
They charged for parking but had limited spaces for the number of guests at the hotel. People were creating spaces in the middle of the lot making it hard to navigate. The property had additional parking behind the hotel, where it was unlit, with no entrance to the hotel.
- 5/5
All was good
- 4/5
Super clean
- 5/5
MJ was super sweet and helpful! Shuttle service was excellent too!
- 4/5
it was a great place, clean, well laid out great customer service. the only problem is they charge to park your car/truck 25 dollars a day. Does that make sense i have to pay to park even though I have a paid room.
- 4/5
Airport shuttle runs 24/7 which made it easy to catch my 6 am flight. Great value and amenities for the money!!
- 4/5
Great clean room. Parking fees? Dumb should be included in your purchase online.
- 5/5
No complaints!
- 4/5
Had some noisy neighbors after 10pm. Restaurant closed. Breakfast buffet was good. Room was clean. AC was not working great, but enough.
- 4/5
The hotel was nice and clean but paying $23 for parking is ridiculous
- 3/5
Was surprised to find that we had to pay $23 for overnight parking - wasn’t aware. Would have booked elsewhere. The lighting in the bathroom was not very bright & no exhaust fan. The walls in the bathroom were not clean or in the entry hall. Very loud as well. I realize we were by an airport but it t was like a raceway outside. The desk clerk was very knowledgeable and professional.
- 3/5
I didnt like the fact that i had to pay for parking, thats one the perks of staying in the suburbs.
- 5/5
Excellent
- 5/5
Check in host was excellent
- 4/5
Had to pay for parking
- 5/5
Efficient and wonderful service!
- 4/5
Clean
- 2/5
Building seems newer but room was not cleaned how it should have been.
- 3/5
Website said parking available should be changed to Parking available for a fee. No convenient food options.
- 2/5
Everytime I stay at Holiday Inn they have free breakfast And free parking and this one has neither
- 5/5
The staff was so friendly and super helpful. I had a wonderful stay!
- 3/5
We chose this hotel due to a short weekend trip flying out of Midway Airport leaving early in the AM and returning late at night. The hotel advertises an airport shuttle with extended parking available on-site. However, when we checked in we were advised that extended parking was only available if we were staying at the hotel each night. How's that supposed to work? Very disappointing. Ended up parking at the airport which was cheaper and easy.
- 5/5
Excellent customer service at check in. Room was very clean, I looked all over the room and didn’t find anything needing cleaning or repair. Very safe, you can’t access hotel floors without a room key. Midway airport departures is a 6 minute drive away. They offer a shuttle but we didn’t use it. Many food options nearby.
- 5/5
Great stay
- 3/5
Got a lot of noise bleeding into the room from the street and the very busy parking lot. I didn’t read the fine print on parking. Simply seem “Parking Available”, what the meant to say was parking available for a fee in a very small and busy parking lot. Good luck! Lobby was very loud from the music coming from the bar area with lots of people coming and going.
- 1/5
Wasn't in the room 5min before I laid on the bed & bed bugs came out the pillow. Literally 3 big bed bugs came out my pillow while I was laying on the pillow. I jumped up in disgust while checking my body for more bed bugs & snatching my luggage off the bed me & mom. Me & my mom started recording & taking pictures. Only found 1 remaining bed bug on the pillow. Did not stay at the hotel, was forced to leave. Was not reimbursed my money to my knowledge. & Had to pay additional money at another hotel. Drove 8 hrs to Chicago from West Virginia to attend a funeral. I was very disappointed & that experience added more stress to me & my mom that we was already experiencing from losing a family member. Terrible experience
- 1/5
Vehicle window broken out in parking lot overnight at least 10 in parking lot. Havent heard a word from management or an appology or anything.
- 5/5
The hotel was clean and well decorated. The staff was very friendly and helpful. The only downfall was having to pay $20 for overnight parking in their lot. Other than that the stay was great.
- 2/5
1. Attention to the parking fee ($20/vehicle/per night) ahead of time would have been appreciated. 2. One of my reaervations was cancelled midway through and my mother-in-law was left to deal with the issues. 3. The atmoshphere was loud... even playing white noise in the hotel room did not froqn out the noise in the hallways. 4. Upon entering the hotel we were greeted by excessively loud music and people coming from the bar... not exactly family friendly. 5. The $ transactions were complicated and difficult to work qith. On a positive note, the hotel was clean and the lady at the front desk that my husband spoke with was exceptional.
- 5/5
Very clean
- 5/5
Everything was excellent
- 1/5
Maybe the worst place I’ve ever stayed. Room smelled of dope and incense. Blinds didn’t work. Run down.
- 5/5
Would recommend
- 5/5
Everything was good they even gave me a birthday gift they don’t have to it was the thought that counted
- 5/5
Location and friendly staff
- 5/5
Short and sweet stay!
- 4/5
Liked property but not having to pay for parking and lack of free breakfast.
- 4/5
Nice clean place to stay, but does need some updating, i.e. sliding door for washroom, not convenient and difficult to 'close'. Also right a major road with loud traffic, upgraded windows would help.
- 2/5
rooms facing the main street is noisy all night
- 5/5
The cleanliness, very nice room.
