The reservation was for 10/31-11/2. We pulled into the parking lot and it literally looked abandoned. There were no signs or anything. The front doors were blocked off and it said that it was closed for renovation. I called the phone number for the hotel and was told by a contractor that the hotel was sold. I wasn’t made aware of this and had to book a last minute hotel. Expedia was very accommodating, but this hotel should’ve made its guests aware that it was being sold.

Had a nice stay

The elevator in the hallway was missing the button to go down. So you had to push the up button every time you used it. The door to the outside of the building was propped open with rocks every time we entered the side door. Not very secured. The wall between room was thin. We woke up to profanity and yelling every night. The free breakfast did not have a good selection to choose from. Very disappointed in this hotel. Check in was easy. Friendly employees.

Good stay there

We got a room on the first floor and the smell of cigarettes was strong and in the room. I went to the front desk and the lady changed us room to the second floor (she was super nice and helpful, no questions asked). We got the second floor and the smell was stronger. We kept walking down the hallway and started to get better and we got to the room and it was fine. The pool was empty at 8:30pm but it was cold the water. Its a place to stay for the night it works because is next to a Walmart and near the mall of America and the airport.

Front desk lady was very rude! There was no coffee in the morning! And at 2:30am people were loud and obnoxious! The smoke detector was gone! Very bad experience! When we pulled into the parking lot there was 3 cop cars! Not very comforting

The hotel lobby smelled like marijuana and our room had a stale smell, the furniture was pulled out and dog food was left on the floor.
-
The room was vvery comfortable and clean. Loved having microwave and fridge to cut down on food cost. Also a warm breakfast was the biggest benefit.
-
The whole building smell like smoking, even the towels in the room that is supposed to be non-smoking.

Breakfast was not the best
-
Would not stay again.Breakfast was just OK but sufficient. Rooms were clean but there was crud on the ceiling. When we turned the heat on a bad odor came out of the unit, started burning and stunk up the room. The smell was nasty and it wouldn't go away. I believe a lot of homeless may stay there. It certainly seems like it maybe the county puts them up there.

Just didn't feel safe here. Too many people hanging out in front of property which is never a good sign. The room itself was not bad. I stay in budget hotels a lot and had no problem with the room so if that s your main concern,it's ok. Just didn't like the other element of it

Front desk threatened to assault me and was beyond unprofessional.
-
Junk lying by back entrances. Key card doesnt work in back entrance doors or pool entrance. Continental breakfast is sub par in number of foods offered.
-
Older establishment closing mid Oct for renovations. Parking was $10 nightly above the Hotels.com price.
-
Remodeling is overdue, although there was a note on every hotel door saying that they were shutting down next month to remodel.
-
Faculty needs to be painted and repaired. Looks old and dated!
-
My room was not well maintained as part of the bathroom ceiling dry wall was coming apart the seams!
