The location was everything! So close to the city centre, in walking distance from food places, shops, transit etc. The staff were very welcoming. They brought in a chef to cook Paella on the nights we were there, and it only cost 6 euros to purchase. The hostel encouraged community, and offered a bar crawl experience. We didn’t have time to take part in the bar crawl, but it looked awesome for those who might want to try it! there was a bit of an odour in the stairwell and in the hallways, likely from an old plumbing system. The bathroom wasn’t super clean, but the rooms were.

the people were super nice and my room was beautiful with a nice private terrace with beautiful tilework. the people are so nice and it felt very social. lots of community dinner nights where you can socialize with other people staying in the hostel my phone was stolen from the common space in the hostel by someone who was not a guest even though the front door was locked. i should not have left it there and i was actually able to get it back with the help of the front desk and security cameras but it would have been nice if the inside of the hostel was a safer space

The staff made me feel super comfortable , they are super friendly. Everything was super clean

The hostel was in a great location and had many activities for people staying at the hostel, so it was easy to meet people if you were solo. They had a basic, but nice breakfast which was helpful in setting me up for big walking days! This is not a negative, but just a heads up! This hostel tends to draw a younger crowd (early 20s). People were in and out of the hostel throughout the night, but this is also pretty typical for Barcelona :) There was not a lot of privacy here -- the bunk bed were completely open, no curtains.

Daniela went above and beyond, very happy with her help Thank you Daniela.

The shower water temperature kept fluctuating between hot and cold, and the charging outlet at my bed was blocked by the adjacent bed, so I couldn’t use it at all—I had to charge my phone in the common area instead. Aside from these issues, everything else was fine. I spoke to the reception about the water temperature problem, and it seems other guests have complained about it as well, but it still hasn’t been resolved

The community, events, and hosts. Daniela, Fernando, and other staff made the trip to Barcelona one to remember!
