We traveled from the states and thought this was a beautiful location with the amenities we needed within our budget. The staff were very nice at check in and so friendly, giving us ideas for things to see and places to go. This is a hostel. The pictures were misleading, we thought our room had a small kitchen and washer, but it did not- those are common areas shared by everyone. Our family room was essentially a room across from the reception desk and hallway with no insulation from the sound. We quickly decided that the pictures and advertising were so misleading and we did not want to stay here while in barcelona. We decided to find another last minute place and we were granted a 50% refund. The staff were friendly, but we felt like we were duped travelers based on the pictures and description of the space.

Needs a little bit more variety of breakfast. But overall it was good.

Lovely room, very cozy, clean and tidy! Great balcony. The staff were amazing, always friendly and helpful - specially Melina! Good common areas, with nice little treats to help yourself. The location is ideal, near all the interesting places to see - or just a very pleasant walk away. The room is not so quiet, as I could hear people in the corridors and the next rooms, but it was nothing too disturbing. The hot water in the shower would run out quite quickly.

There was a lot of noise from the front desk which we heard from our room. The hot water didn't last through a shower for any of us.

Size of room

Rooms were clean, the people we’d at front desk were very nice and helpful! The location was good walkable too many of the historic sites, Casa Batlio, Sagrada Familia etc. Nice kitchen with continental breakfast items supplied to make for yourself. Little bit of street noise until about midnight, , typical city type.

The staff was amazingly friendly, resourceful, and helpful. The facility was nice, quiet, and clean. An excellent location. I highly recommend Casa Consell Everything was great

Loved the staff Melina made our check in easy, and she informed us of everything. All the staff were friendly! The shared kitchen was so appreciated, everything was clean and felt like a home away from home, the little porch was great as well to sit outside and have a glass of Cava! ☺️

Perfect location, comfort, amenities, and front desk staff! It was an amazing experience and would love to book with them again when I come back to Barcelona. Room with terrace that I got was facing the back street so it was very peaceful and quiet at night. Melina also helped me check in early as the room was already available. 10/10 Bathroom was a bit small but totally not a dealbreaker
