Hostalet De Barcelona

Location is central, almost near the major transport and amenities. The staff are very helpful and friendly. One staff Jeanelle speaks fluent English so it's very easy to communicate our needs. She also helped us navigate public transport and suggested a nice nearby restaurant. It made our stay more convenient and relaxing. The toilet is clean but it looks like some parts are outdated and need immediate replacement, for example, the toilet door.

The room was not worth 118 euros. The bathroom is very small, bed is tiny, no chair or table in the room. The hotel appears to be 4 apartments in one floor converted into a hotel. I was there for one night but would NOT recommend for longer.

I really loved the place. I got my room earlier then the check in time which was really nice as we were very tired after our flight . Room is small but clean and tidy. It had a small balcony which was really a nice thing to have. Staff is very helpful. They answered all my queries even before checking in to the hotel . They also provided me with a bowl so that I could microwave my breakfast in the morning . They also provide a heater which was really nice as we would have frozen without it Opening the main door with key was difficult. Most of the time I would just give up. Also the internet for the first two nights was really bad but then it was all good from the third night .

Room was small as expected but it was clean and comfortable. I could do check in earlier and could leave the bags after check out.

+ Nice and understanding staff + Some times I could smell food smell in the hostal’s hall. + Rooms were small but we knew about it in advance.

The room is really small, but we were not spending time inside anyway. The staff is very friendly. The reception area has a nice little nook with coffee, tea, and cookies. The bathroom was OK. Location is very convenient

All amenities were as described and very comfortable. We were placed above the front entrance and the gate was slammed all hours of the night which kept us awake. Also our neighbors slammed every door as well. The only other thing I didn’t like was that the shower, sink, and toilet were all in separate areas.

Superb

The location was perfect! I practically did not use public transport as I could go everywhere by just walking. The room is cleaned every day, as well as towels changed. The bed is comfortable. The only flaw with my room was that the window was facing the building and it was dark inside( so I had issues waking up). So, if you are looking only for a place to sleep and want to spend your day outside this is a good place for you as it is really clean and on good location.

Very small and economic room with separate bathroom - super cosy and clean. Hostalet is run efficiently, so the basic and economic single room level I had booked was far better than expected given the high level of cleanliness and comfort. Bathroom for myself. No complaints. Management is very efficient

Staff were very helpful, kind and available. The space was great for our family of four. The snacks and drinks were excellent and access to fill up water bottles was great. The laundromat is right across from the street and so is a fabulous bakery for fresh croissants every morning. Fresh towels and cleaning services were wonderful.

Great experience! The receptionist (Daiana) was multitaking. She showed empathy with me since the evening I arrived to Barcelone, my luggage didn’t arrive with me. The day it arrived at the hostalete, as she was aware of it, she received my luggage and took it to my room. Very positive customer interaction. Thanks a lot. God bless you.
