Everything was perfect!

The room was nice and spacious. The AC was not functioning properly, and there was significant noise coming from the street outside throughout the night. Additionally, there was no maintenance staff available on site during nighttime hours. The hotel room telephone was also not working, making it impossible to contact Reception despite multiple attempts. I also tried calling from my cell phone, but no one answered. When I eventually went downstairs after 10:00 pm, there was no one at the reception desk when I looked around. The receptionist then spotted me from the dining area where he was eating his dinner and came out to speak with me. When I asked for assistance, he was extremely rude and unhelpful, stating that he was the only employee working at the time and there wasn’t anything he could do. Overall, the lack of basic room functionality, poor customer service, and absence of support staff made for a very disappointing experience. I also attempted to send a private message four days ago to express my frustration privately, but no one responded to or acknowledged my message. Therefore, I am now sharing my feedback online.

This hotel is well located and we liked the space (we chose the superior room) with a sleeping area separate from a lounging area with a sofa. The hotel has seen better days and is need of refreshing. There is chipped paint in many places, the sink area in the bathroom needed recaulking, the refrigerator was very small and was located in a wooden cabinet which had sustained water damage. The telephone in the room was not working and we could not contact them. The front desk was often left unattended and we had to wait for a staff member to arrive before we could get any help. The cleaning crew once took all of our bath towels which we had hung up and planned to use again and left us with none. Sometimes they left us face clothes and sometimes they did not. They also took some of our food during a cleaning session. Our room keys didn’t work and we had to return to the front desk three times to ask them to fix them. One night there were no lights on in the entire second floor hall and we had to ask the front desk attendant to turn them on. The front desk staff was unwelcoming, unfriendly, rude and not at all helpful. They often left the front desk unattended forcing us to wait until someone arrived to help or answer questions.

The location, and the room size. The property looks older than I expected. Air conditioning was not working and the room was hot during the day. They explained that because of the season the AC if off for all rooms, but this is not included in the hotel description. We stayed in April.

Location is fantastic--walkable to most sights and on a quiet plaza right near Diagonal. Our family suite was also spacious with a great view overlooking the street. The price was a bit high for a sunday in shoulder season, and it was frustrating to have the price go down by 75 euros after we passed the cancellation window. The rooms also looked a bit dated, with some peeling paint/moldings. However, the room was super comfortable and spacious and I would overlook the ageing and stay here again.

Location was great with a lot of options available. Room was spacious, especially for a family with kids. The separation of the main area to the bedroom was great. The air was not able to be adjusted within the room. The room was hot even when the cool option was selected. The bathroom water temp fluctuated during use, and it got extremely hot. This was important to consider when washing babies.

We booked a junior suit and it was very large, especially the sitting area, and had a second toilet. The area was good for our needs, not in the center of the touristic area but close enough to food and shopping. The hotel is really run down, with large stains on the hallway carpet, peeling wallpaper in the room, chipped vanity counter, stained bath tub etc. A single standing lamp in the sitting area provided inadequate lighting in the evening. Our room was missing a coffee machine and it took a whole day and multiple requests to get it.

Not enough lights in the room

The location and the staff Hello, I would like to share some feedback regarding my stay. The soap provided is not good, and there is no bathrobe or slippers available in the room. Also, the hallway upstairs is not clean, and the pillows are uncomfortable and not clean as well. I hope this can be improved. Thank you.

Nice and perfect room, delicious breakfast, incredible attention from staff!

Great location, walking distance to most main attractions. The area was very safe and no shortage of restaurants or cafe. Easy access to public transportation and cabs. Very clean! The cleaning crew was a bit too loud especially for people on vacation who don’t wish to wake up too early.

Breakfast was not the best value for the price. Muffins were day old and the juice and milk were on the edge of going bad. There are no instructions on how to use the coffee machines, one must observe others using the machines.

We were robbed two blocks from the hotel, and later were told this was a common occurrence in this area.....would have been more on the alert had we known this! Tough lesson!

The lobby smells so good The room was old and was in bad conditions.

The maintenance of the room and facilities could improve and give a better image to the hotel which has good spaces but they are sort of run down.
