Wow Hostel Barcelona

Walls were a little thin.

Only complaint is that the bed I had could really benefit from a new mattress.

Really great location, losts of restaurants, cafes and even clubs nearby. Friendly staff was a huge plus. The place was clean and well kept, also felt safe. The only downside was the shared bathrooms, you sometimes had to wait a while for others to finish up

Friendly staff, great location, flexible check-in hours. Walkable distance from train station. Simple but clean place. I staid for 1 night only, just to sleep over before moving on to next destination. For someone with sensitive sleep might not be the best rest place - thin walls transfer sounds well (someone taking shower, neighbors activities, foot steps, etc). Other then that, no complains.

The vibe of the hostel was great and the staff were very accommodating. Free coffee and popcorn within your stay (but note there is a timing for when it is available). The Hostel is located in Diagonal which makes for a perfect location to go around the shops, cafes and restos. Compared to the photos in Booking.com they are a bit outdated. Maybe sheets, pillows quality should be updated as well. The bathroom only had one hook to hang your towel in, would've been nice if there were more or even a shelf to place in your clothes for changing.

One of the shared bathrooms was out of hand soap for 3 days, but we also did not notify the staff and just used our own soap.

The room was advertised as having air conditioning included in the fee, but it's actually coin-operated — something that should have been disclosed in advance.

The lobby was really cool, we loved the big windows letting in natural light. And the reception was very friendly. There’s a lift to take you up to the floor so that you don’t have to climb all of the stairs if you do not want to. Nil

Nothing

The room was clean and came with fresh towels. The bathroom was also well-organized and spotless. The location was excellent — close to everything and with easy access to public transportation. Great place to stay in Barcelona!

We had a great stay at Wow Hostel! We were surprised how clean, well equipped and friendly is the place. The stuff was so communicative and friendly. The dog at the hostel, Luca, made our stay even more pleasant! The best way to relax after a full day of visiting, playing some pool at the reception and playing with the adorable dog! It definitely worth the money and I warmly recommend it! Hard to think of something.

The staff is incredible ppl! And dog Luka in the common area is a true love of this trip ? common area has billiard, chess and is welcome for guests :)

The staff was very friendly and there was always someone around in case you’ve needed something. The hostel is located in a calm & clean part of Barcelona. I’ve met interesting people from all over the world. The rooms had lockers for each guest & thanks to the curtains by the bed you’ve had enough privacy. I didn’t expect more from a hostel but the room was furnished only with the bed and the lockers.

I want to say big thank u to this hostel and owner as well,location cant be better in barcelona.the stuff was helping us 24/7 when we needed this.so i recommend this place to everyone who is going to barcelona for visiting,a hundred thanks to this place!!!!!!

Friendly & welcoming. Small rooms, but shelving... to help organize. Kitchen area spacious and easy to work in. Never a wait for a shared restroom. Location okay. Shared spaces okay.
