I strongly do not recommend this hotel. We had booked and fully paid for 3 rooms. I personally arrived at the hotel and clearly informed the reception that my two colleagues would be arriving late due to a flight cancellation. I explicitly asked them to keep the two rooms, as they were already fully paid. Despite this, the hotel decided to cancel the reservations as “no-show” and resold the rooms. This is completely unacceptable. Since then, despite multiple calls, no solution has been offered, and they are even refusing to issue a refund. This is a dishonest practice. Be very careful if you plan to book this hotel. It is a desastre On top of that, there were construction works causing constant noise, the windows were poorly insulated, and the air conditioning was not working properly, making the stay very uncomfortable.

Location, location, location!

This property was fantastic — my friend and I stayed right next to the market and were able to get some great local food there. The staff, especially the receptionists, were extremely helpful. We wanted to do a day trip to Costa Brava and he helped guide us so we didn’t spend too much money. Ideal location, close to so much shopping and food, very close to gothic quarter as well. Some renovation happening right outside — no loud sounds, just a note for anyone who wants to drag in their suitcases a little bit more easily at the moment!

great location, fairly quiet despite being on La Rambla with active construction. Right next to La Boqueria market and so close onto Gothic Quarter and Plaça Catalunya. Shower was great, hot with excellent pressure. 24hr front desk, key card access was secure. Breakfast was excellent, with variety and plenty. beds were small and firm, right next to each other.

Location was perfect, central La Rambla, backing onto the market The room felt a little 'cold', nothing soft underfoot, cold hard flooring, not many pictures on the walls just white washed

The location is nice, right in the middle of Rambla. My experience at this hotel was extremely unpleasant and frustrating, especially considering its location on La Rambla, in Barcelona, one of the most crowded and noisy tourist areas, at any time of day or night. Precisely for this reason, proper soundproofing should have been a priority, yet it was almost completely lacking. The room had three balcony doors, and one of them was missing the sealing rubber between the door and the frame. Although the door appeared to be closed, it was not airtight at all, and the noise from the street — tourists, music, loud voices, traffic — could be heard very clearly, making sleep practically impossible. On the second day, the staff attempted an improvised fix by adding a sealing strip, but the metal latch in the door frame (the locking mechanism) broke, meaning the door could no longer close properly. As a result, the issue remained unresolved for the entire stay. The situation is even more serious given that I later discovered the hotel had sent me an email offering relocation to another hotel outside the tourist area. Unfortunately, that message went to my spam folder, and the reception staff never informed me of this option, despite being fully aware of the room’s issues. Because of this lack of communication, I was forced to stay four nights in an extremely noisy and defective room, without being offered a real solution on site. It is unacceptable for a hotel to handle a known issue in this way — relying solely on an email that can easily be missed and failing to inform the guest directly, especially when the guest repeatedly reports the discomfort. The level of comfort was far below any acceptable standard, and the lack of responsibility and communication from the staff makes this an experience I do not recommend under any circumstances. Additionally, the hotel feels somewhat neglected: although it has clearly been operating for years, it appears not to have received any meaningful renovation or refresh, and this is notic

Great location, small room and even smaller bathroom. Amazing staff. Overall, worth the money. Room and bathroom size.

Our room had a lovely terrace that allowed us to see the market and enjoy the beautiful evening! Morning coffee on the terrace was a plus!

The big market next door was one of the reasons we booked and unfortunately the market is now shut down permanently. There is a ton of construction right in front of the hotel. A taxi driver couldn't get close and dropped us off more than a block away from the hotel.

Staff and location are great. Rooms are small and barely fit the bed. Bathrooms are also tiny with no shelf space Small bathroom with very limited shelf space

Great location , on La Rambla right next to the famous market “St Joseph , Boqueria “ . And for being European the bathroom was a decent size , at lest in our room . Be aware there there is major construction going on La Rambla . Half of the road and sidewalk are tore up on the west side of the street. And when they finish that , they will start reconstruction in the middle boulevard . 2-3 year project . They don’t move very fast in Spain !

The location is brilliant. The staff were great and the rooms were perfect - comfy beds and pillows. I do think the breakfast could be improved. The scrambled eggs were inedible, unfortunately. And the only other disappointing aspect was the foyer, as none of the pictures online gave any indication of this.
