Hostal Las Flores

Convenient location on La Rambla offers you the opportunity to walk everywhere in Gothic and Borne Quarter. Besides the metro station Liceu (L3) is just 50 meters away. The Mercat de la Boqueria is just nearby. The room is clean and equipped with AC, TV and safe in the wardrobe. The bathroom is clean and spacious. Housekeeping was provided in daily basis. The small balcony has a nice La Rambla view even though the street is under construction. There is an elevator on the reception, which is one floor above the entrance. There was some smell in the room even though the room was ventilated in the morning. It’s not about the hotel; however, La Rambla is still under construction.

The position is optimal, you are gonna appreciate it most as you are gonna find yourself in the Rambla and so easily connected, by walk and bus, with almost all the most famous places in Barcelona. Not the least, close to the Hostal there is the Aerobus stop that allows you to reach the airport 24/24 Room view was not excellent, but not my priority in this journey

It was clean, reasonably priced, in a good location, and had air conditioning.

The location was great for me as I was leaving for the airport by metro early in the morning and the station was only about 100 meters away. Also very close to a great food market and many good restaurants!

The hostel is conveniently located near local shops and train transportation. I was disappointed with my stay. There is no elevator, meaning I had to carry heavy luggage up a long flight of stairs just to reach the front desk. Additionally, there was a strong, unpleasant smell of raw sewage coming from the pipes.

just location staff were not kind, aircondition and hair dryer were not working, does not give heat air both of them. la ramblas has under construction thats why room was so noisy.

The location was in the heart of the Gothic Quarter of Barcelona, and had amazing access to the main streets of Las Ramblas. The room was clean and private, and staff was very friendly and helpful! I was even able to check in early!

Costly for the limited facilities. There was no drinking water or fridge. There is no shampoo and shower gel.

The bed & pillows are not so comfy, it's very thin barely can feel it, the room lacks refrigerator as well as coffee machine it's very basic

Clean, right above the Ramblas. Price changed dramatically - less than half of what I paid when I looked during my check in. Booking refused my claim for a price match guarantee although the data came from their own website. I feel overcharged at over $271 for one night for spartan accommodation.

location IS GOOD

The hostal is located in a great area right on the rambles and steps away from the market and many restaurants. It is also on the edge of the gothic quarters and subway station is right there as well. While you do have to go up a flight of stairs to get to the hostal lobby, staff did help with my luggage up and down. In the lobby they sell bottled water which came in clutch many times. I don’t like people in my room when I’m not there so I declined cleaning. But I did ask for extra towels and the guy gave me a hard time about it. Room is awkwardly shaped so you can’t see the tv while lying in bed. The tv cable box is connected to another location so when they would change the channel it would also change in my room. My room was on the first floor so I could hear everything going on in the lobby especially when staff were hanging out. No wash clothes so make sure you bring your own. AC barely worked; it had only one speed (extra low) and took hours to cool down my small room. You have to put room key in slot to power on electricity in room (including AC). So you are unable to turn on AC to cool room and go for a walk while room cools. This was annoying especially since there was a major heat wave while I was in Barcelona. No screens on windows to prevent bugs from coming in.

Good location. Attentive staff Lacks a refrigerator for customers to store water and other necessities which need refrigeration.

It was a comfortable and clean place with basic but sufficient facilities. The location is obviously great also letting a quick drop in within the day when needed. Safe even for a solo female traveler with walking distance to main attractions and also metro station is 2-3 minutes of walk. Mercat de la Boqueria is very close. There is a great bakery just beside the place and Carrefour market is also nearby. The staff is friendly and helpful. It is rather a basic hotel than a hostel which exceeded my expectations for the price I paid. I was aware of it before the stay, so just to note, you need to climb about 18- 20 steps to reach the reception and the elevator. A/C was not needed, therefore I'm not sure, but it seemed to be fixed at a certain temperature with no option of manual change. Switching to shower was not very stable with high water pressure, but manageable after a couple of tries. However, none of these drawbacks effected my stay in a negative manner.

Beds were uncomfortable and room was very small. You are definitely paying for location.

Cradle for the shower wand was loose. Made it difficult to take a shower with the wand staying in place.

Location is great, staff is attentive and they have 24 hour reception. The double bed is actually two twin beds with double bed sheets. The room was small but we knew it before booking.
