The staff were friendly and helpful. The location is excellent, with a metro station nearby, and all the main attractions are within walking distance. We also received a complimentary bottle of sparkling wine from the hotel. Breakfast was decent, and the food was tasty. The terrace was available for socializing until 11:00 PM. Due to a malfunctioning air conditioning unit, we were moved to a different room. For the last night of our stay, we were supposed to change rooms again, which was fine and had been agreed upon in advance. However, the room we were given did not have a balcony, even though I had paid for a room with a balcony. Additionally, when we changed rooms, we were told that we could join the beds together. When we did so, it became clear that the floor underneath had not been vacuumed or cleaned for quite some time. There were visible dried liquid stains and a lot of crumbs and debris. In both rooms, the grout in the bathroom was dirty, the silicone sealant was worn out, and there were several old signs of water damage and leaks. For €240 per night, I expected a much higher standard.

This is not your typical hotel! There is a shared space for breakfast and a kitchen you can use. The hotel is lovely and very close to every important monument in Barcelona. Most importantly, the staff was super helpful and everyone was lovely! A big thank you to Diana who was an absolute saint and the loveliest girl to meet! No question was too dumb and she was always there to help out and have a lovely chat!

Place has a lot of character. Room was spacious, clean and with a very pretty view. Staff (especially Fercho and Diana) were very helpful and attentive. The street can be noisy (but ear plugs are provided)
