The hotel is clean and so are the rooms. The rooftop bar and pool area is nice and clean and the service is good. The hotel restaurant was short staff, and the service and food were not so great, but the last time I stayed here it was good so it may have just been the staff that was working on the day I stayed.

Parking was very tight but the hotel was amazing. The attention to detail was insane, I’ll definitely be back !! Keep it up guys you have a guest for life here

Awesome stay, best hotel we have had in a long time, inside bar was excellent, steak house was excellent, vinyl collect excellent, it is a little pricey but you get what you pay for did not let us down on any aspect.

Staff was super friendly and helpful even though they seemed to be pretty full! The lobby bar and whole atmosphere was great!

The hotel location, its staff and restaurant were great. The lobby was nice and we felt welcomed when we arrived. Once we arrived at our room things began going south. Yes, the room was clean, but the layout was horrible. When you walk through the door you are in the bathroom. The glass door shower is immediately to your right, and the bathroom sink to your left. A few steps further and you are in the bedroom. The beds were comfortable but the city view room I requested was terrible and gave me a view of the rear side of some dilapidated buildings and their roof tops.

Location was great as we were headed to a concert at moody (15 min walk) the room was clean and comfy Valet was SO EXPENSIVE ($65). Also wish the food options were a little better but what we had was delicious and it is mega convenient to have it delivered to the room when on a time crunch.

The rooms were nice in comparison to other hotels we looked at. It was nice with the big TV and record player. The location was a bit off from the main part. The car valet was extremely overpriced. It was $65 when parking down the street I saw was $20. The restaurant in the hotel tried to be fancy but the food was average and almost sickening. Although the rooms were nice, it was missing some touches

The facilities were amazing and so was the service from the staff. The food and drinks were wonderful and the views from the lounge on the top floor were amazing. The pillows were not very comfortable in the room.

The Otis has a very nice pool. Restaurant is just Okay. Honestly, in my opinion, The Otis is a 4-star hotel. Not a 5 star. They apply a lot of fees that you are not aware of. Like a resort fee? This place doesn't feel like a resort. They applied $50.00 to my account for a two-night star. It was use it or lose it. I had to eat on premise. So be aware. Also, parking is very expensive. Not a bad hotel, but also not one I'm looking forward to returning to.

The coffee pot in the room - or whatever it was - is the most ridiculous thing I’ve ever tried to use. You gotta understand, people just want a regular, easy to make cup of coffee.

Great vibe, walkable to UT locations (dorms, apartments, restaurants), easy parking (valet or self park), nice dining & a fabulous roof top bar. Only down side was only two very slow elevators, but it was fine bc it was a very busy move-in and sorority bid day weekend!

Friendly staff and the record player is an amazing touch. People kept talking about the restroom at the entrance. When you walk in to your room, you are technically in the main restroom and visibility to shower so plan for that if you’re staying with a family member. I enjoyed the stay and will be back again.

This is an excellent place to stay! The staff is extremely welcoming. The entire hotel is clean and smells great! The rooms have all the accommodations one can need. The bar is exceptional and has a great variety of whiskeys. 10/10

When I scheduled the stay, I was offered an option to prepay for breakfast. This seemed convenient so i chose to do so. However when we arrived at the hotel to check in at 9:30 at night, we were handed a voucher to ise for room service and told that it had to be used in the next 30 minutes as the kitchen was closing. I informed them that I purchased the prepaid breakfast and was told that it could not be ised on the day of checkout. So for a 1 night stay, i was robbed of my prepaid breakfast. I will be requesting a refund. Aside from that the hotel was nice. But I feel like they scammed me so I will not be returning.

Pool not kid friendly. Locals that weren’t staying at the property were allowed in - smoking, cussing, yelled at my 13yo for accidentally splashing.

Music selection , restaurant Requests being made multiple times, took forever to accommodate ,hold on cc kept getting removed and added multiple times causing issues with my bank.Getting hold of mgmt was a nightmare.Expected better from a high end hotel.

The hotel was lovely - all the employees were friendly (even offered free donuts that were still warm!) and the hotel was clean. The highlight was how comfortable the room was from the linens, the pillows, the mattress, the blackout curtains, to the steady ac. It was the the best night of sleep I’ve had in a hotel. I would go back just for the good sleep.

The staff was absolutely wonderful at the front desk! I didn’t get names but every single one of them was so accommodating and friendly. My room was lovely and very clean! Had a great view of the UT tower and the city. Rooftop was a relaxing vibe and great to have a cocktail at sunset.

The Otis is a super cool hotel with a great restaurant and bar downstairs and an even cooler rooftop bar/pool upstairs. The servers were all professional and so helpful. I love the vibe of the hotel with all the great music always playing. Rooms are comfortable and chic. While the music always playing in the hotel is very cool, my room was on the fourth floor right over the entrance with the valet. The music is quite loud on the street, but in the middle of the night/early morning, it is disruptive to sleep. They should definitely turn it off during sleeping and early morning hours. The valet charge is also really high at $65!

The Otis has a beautiful lobby area which is really important to me. I like to get out of my room and meet with friends, have a drink or coffee, etc. Very neat decor, too.

We got upgraded supposedly, but the room for 2 People Was Way too small

Perfect location for UT. Liked the room and facilities even though unusual layout with bathroom as you enter but this wasn’t an issue for us. Could have done with more drawer space and towels were not great. Record player cool touch but as others have said May be more useful to have a fridge. Pool was fab and spent many hours poolside and at the rooftop bar. Biggest issue we had was with noise. Some to be expected from road but on one night there was music blaring until 4am. Desk claimed to be unaware. Would request a room away from the front entrance if I stayed again as could hear the music played into the street. Overall a great - if pricey - stay.

I only stayed for one night for an event at UT, but the hotel is very nice and clean. Super convenient if you are doing something in the campus or downtown areas.

This was such a nice boutique hotel with cool vibes. The rooftop bar was amazing and bartenders even better. The view of the city of Austin on a clear day was gorgeous! Loved the option to play a vinyl in your room.

First impressions are everything. The first interaction with the desk clerk was him telling me that although I reserved a king bed room, there were none available. After I protested and he could see my displeasure, suddenly he was able to "do me a favor" and "upgrade" us to a king room, but I was to "be sure to give him a good review for the upgrade". It's not an upgrade. It's what I reserved. Also, I found the rooms to be small and didn't like the fact that you enter from the corridor directly into the bathroom of the guest room. Also, there was very little storage space for clothes. No in room refrigerator or even ice buckets in the room.

Best hotel in west campus. But - no mini bar and having to walk through the bathroom to get into the room itself is odd. But - attentive service and great option is need need to stay in or around campus.

Friendly and accommodating staff. Clean rooms and gym. Only issue was parking as the hotel room would often not work when driving back into the garage causing you to have take a ticket.However, front desk staff were always quick to remedy the issue.

Really enjoyed talking with their vinyl album specialist and listening to records in my room. Wished I found out before midnight that guests can request a refrigerator but the hotel staff had one delivered within 15 minutes and we had cold drinks!! Very helpful and understanding staff! For both hotels!!

Stay was fantastic including roof top bar and room service. Only need to level the sliding door between bathroom and bedroom so it will stay shut in order to get a perfect 10
