Location was perfect, close to the U of Texas and the Capitol NA

I guess due to the area (proximity to concert venue), the price of the hotel and the parking was high. $50 to park yourself, the spaces are tiny so your car is bound to get dinged. And the entire garage smelled like sewage. Valet was $55 and a very long wait to get your car. Lines to check in were also very long. I wouldnt book here again. All in all, we spent a little over $400 for one night.

Great Whiskey Bar downstairs and you can get a cheeseburger at the stand outside which is part of the hotel and bring it in and have it with your old fashioned. Rooms are well organized though not gigantic: just perfect when visiting all the sites in downtown Austin, 20 minutes from the airport by uber. Elegant, classy ,avant-garde Boutique hotel. Good breakfast in restaurant. You pay but also I think we chose an option and got a discount from Expedia on breakfast as well. But definitely not included in the automatic price of the hotel.

We visited in May and the AC Hotel’s bar and restaurant are closed for the summer. You do have full access to the Otis Hotel’s rooftop bar and restaurant.

It was closer to UT and interstate. The staff who checked us in were helpful and friendly. The room was cramped with barely any space. The wash basin was right next to the bed.

Really nice room and amenities Check in line was long. One person checking people in. No signage indicating the first floor is a different hotel and you had to go to the second floor for the lobby. Waited in line at that hotel and the person at the front desk informed us we had to go to the second floor to check in in the most confusing and unnecessarily complicated way possible.

The staff at the bar and restaurant were amazing. The housekeeping staff excellent.

Location and staff friendliness. Over $400 for a Thursday night stay, including a $50 charge for self-parking. We requested a “campus-view” room but did not receive one, despite the fact that the hotel was not nearly full. The bathroom area was essentially a corner of the room rather than a separate room.

I go to Austin frequently and stay a different Marriott properties. I really enjoyed my stay at the AC Hotel. It was super clean and the room is streamlined. Not fussy. No carpet. Simple modern layout. The front desk was nice. Easy parking and super convenient to campus.

The receptionist was the friendliest. We only stayed for one night so didn’t get to enjoy any restaurants or hotel amenities but everything was clean, rooms were as expected. Area was safe and walkable to Moody Centre.

Location better I very easily access all transportation ways I felt sorry for the reception staff because they probably have to stand all day, which I can’t approve of. Also, the water in the rooms wasn’t cold — finding cold water was quite difficult. And the Wi-Fi in the room didn’t work properly; I couldn’t connect my computer and had to work in the lobby instead.

It was a bit quieter than Otis, conveniently located, and the accommodations were great. Small but very comfortable room, great check in process, and the housekeeping was outstanding. Also, had a great breakfast at Acre 41 with phenomenal service by Riley and team. Overall a great stay!!!

The staff was friendly, helpful, and welcoming. Place was clean and modern looking just like the photos. There was no microwave in the hotel room, parking had to be paid and not included with the hotel. The listing was false advertised, showing photos of the pool access and rooftop area that was to be included with the AC hotel and not indicating that was for that Otis hotel part of the property. Unfortunately, probably won’t stay again there.

The stay was great, it was a little confusing to enter the parking garage but once inside check in was super fast, Jose who was at the front counter was extremely friendly. The rooms were also very clean and nice. Will definitely stay here again.

It was great with the exception of the cost of parking. I had a hard time figuring out where to park. The building is not marked very well. Once o was settled it was fantastic. I really enjoyed the balcony it was private and a great place for a glass of wine.

Paid a room upgrade charge to only get no sleep due to AC not staying on in the month of May, blinking smoke detector light above the bed area. I was pretty impressed with this property. Maybe I got lucky, but all the staff and front desk workers were all very friendly and outgoing people and they all seemed to be in really a good mood the three nights I stayed there. It was very noticeable. The room was nice and the rooftop bar is very cool to look out over the city. I was definitely impressed with this Hotel.

The hotel is very pretty and the staff was friendly and helpful. Overall we had a great experience! There were a couple of minor inconveniences I will mention. There was not a microwave in the room. It would have been helpful to have atleast 2 towel hooks in the bathroom and a 2nd mirror in the room so more than 1 person can get ready trying to share 1 in a tiny bathroom. There should also be a fan in the bathroom. These items are common in other hotels I've stayed in

Very clean, had a fitness center. Close to down town and many places. Can commute by scooter to 6th street and restaurants near by. Has a pool and lounge in the 11th floor.

Beautiful rooms and very helpful and polite staff. My son was performing at a state competition and AC Hotel let me leave my car in the parking garage, after checkout, so we would not have to worry about finding new parking and our son could concentrate on his upcoming speech au UT. Hidden fees and mystery charges that don't appear until it's too late. Only hotel I've ever had a pricing discrepancy with. Great stay but not worth the financial hassle.

It was honestly a really great stay note all parking is paid something j just forgot to check also theres one microwave in the whole building if you even need it theres a million food spots all walking distance just little things lol. But everything was made up for with the nice room and mostly the staff, they are AMAZING amd overly helpful & welcoming in the best way. overall my stay was great id recommend again

The hotel is conveniently located in west campus. I appreciated how valet and a very close public parking garage are options. The staff was so courteous and kind. Pratik was friendly and made the check out process pleasant and easy. Overall hotel is clean, great breakfast options and the ambiance of the entire place was calming and relaxing. Thank you!

Close to college I feel they are money hungry. They charged my card 25.00 in case I wanted to buy something at the hotel. If i did not I would lose my money.of course that was not in my price when I booked the room. So it was hidden charge.

I’ve never paid $50 for parking in Austin, especially somewhere that’s not downtown. Got hit with charges they couldn’t explain. I definitely will never stay here again. The hotel wasn’t even that nice for the price

The location is great if you’re visiting the Capitol or UT Austin. We added on breakfast to our room stay as an additional cost which was worth it as we had breakfast at the Acre 41 restaurant which is attached to this hotel.

The hotel is pretty however i did not anticipate having to pay $50 a night for parking and the bathroom is an open concept so zero privacy. Only thing you get is a sliding door for the toilet but the shower can be seen by anyone in the room unless you are on the bed staring directly ahead. Was fine for my husband and I but someone coming with a friend may not appreciate have zero chance for privacy.

Had a good stay, that was really conveniently located to campus. The bar and restaurant downstairs are great, but checking in is a little confusing for the AC side of the hotel (compared to the Otis) since the lobby is on the second floor, and there is no bellman to help with luggage from the valet.

The service was excellent and the room comfortable. Seems to have been a little more pricey than some of the other hotels but most likely due to location, which is why we chose it. The location was great for the venue we were visiting. The restaurant on site was decent but really pricey as were the drinks.

A Facilities and services

The room was way too hot to sleep comfortably. We could not get it to come on when we needed it. It was not a good nights sleep at all. The thermostat said 65 but that was an out right lie. It was more line 75/77 in that room. The air would kick on once an hour maybe 45 min so your constantly taking covers off putting covers on. Just too terribly hot in our room.

Location Coffee pot was located where there was no electric outlet as well as the iron and ironing board. There was no hand soap at the sink or anywhere to be found. Lousy view of the top of the gross building below us and was woken up about 4:00 am to a popping sound that I assume was trash trucks dumping dumpsters. I was charged more on my debit card than the invoice and will be investigating that issue. For a $340.00 charge, I have stayed in better hotels for less. So disappointed!

Parking is expensive ($50). Construction in area causes delays. The only is lighting above sink is wrong making putting on makeup a challenge. This is a more open concept. A curtain between shower and bathroom would be nice. Great rooftop bar at adjoining hotel! Very close to arena and UT.

Easy and convenient to UT

Very clean and very nice Staff.

This was an all around clean,quiet and very pleasant place to stay. It will be my go to whenever I’m in Austin.

Room with modern bathroom (shower with glassdoor) and beautiful view of UT Campus

This is my last time staying here. While the location is great, I can’t justify the nightly rate for such an average room. Every 20 minutes I hear a slamming sound like a cabinet door is being shut, housekeeping skipped us in the morning. Oh well, plenty of other options

She helped me navigate through the booking website to complete my reservation and made it look effortless. She cleared the confusion between the two hotels which are located next to each other. Her warm, friendly manner and efficiency made check-in a breeze. Makayla's exceptional service set a great tone for my stay.

Wonderful atmosphere for family gatherings

Property was quiet with a good local for dining. Beautiful bar & areas for seating while meeting with family. Loved the piped in music in the lobby. Complimentary water was a big plus
