There was poor customer services trash cans full. Didn't get any rest noise level was crazy. Breakfast was horrible and shut down early

The location I would like to express my frustration with the check-in experience today. Check-in is advertised as 3:00 PM, yet we waited an hour and a half for our room to be ready. Once we were finally told the room was available, we had to wait an additional 20 minutes before we could even access it. To make matters worse, the room keys did not work. I had to return to the front desk to have them reprogrammed, and even after being issued new key cards, those did not work either. We are now more than two hours past the advertised check-in time and still unable to access our room. After a long day of travel, especially with a family, this level of service is completely unacceptable. The delays, lack of communication, and repeated issues accessing the room have made for an extremely frustrating experience and a very poor first impression. I would appreciate an immediate resolution and an explanation as to how this situation occurred, as well as consideration for appropriate compensation for the inconvenience.

We went to this hotel with low expectations, and were pleasantly surprised. We stayed in the Doubletree on I-35 a few weeks ago and this hotel is FAR better. The room was clean, breakfast was great, parking was free. Highly recommend for a stay in Austin.

It was exactly perfect for my dog and I to stay the night. We had a downstairs room with easy access to the outside.

The front guy was new and still needs some training. We didn’t get the enjoy the breakfast because the hours were 7-10am and we had to leave our room every day at 6:30am to head to our cheer comp. Website had said it started at 6am but that’s only week days. Pool was good. Said it was heated, but it was pretty chilly.

Great welcome on checking-in. Extremely spacious room, with great air-conditioning. Restaurant/breakfast menu had great variety and seating overlooked a lake.

Everyone we interacted with was extremely helpful, welcoming, and kind. Breakfast and happy hour snacks were very good. The pool and outdoor spaces were a lot of fun and very comfortable. Would stay here again without hesitation.

The room was very spacious for our family of four and clean. Weather was yuck so we didn’t get to enjoy the outdoor facilities. The breakfast buffet wasn’t the greatest but overall great stay.

They should put sufficient towels … we were 4 guests and there was barely enough for 3 guests. We tried to be courteous and take the trash out and when asked for a trash bags the lady handed us the trash bags instead of putting them

There was an issue with the water in our bathroom and we didn’t have a fully working shower either day. However, the building is very nice, staff was helpful and efficient, repair attempts were made after hours, and the situation was resolved to our satisfaction. Would stay here again.

This is the second time I’ve stayed here and I love the place and the staff.

I loved the hospitality of the crew and how clean everything is. Some guy from Israel called me stupid during breakfast because I was eating a boiled egg with my fingers. He was Jewish or something but nothing to do with hotel.

Excellent hotel

We stayed two nights at the Homewood Suites for the Austin F1 Grand Prix. Check-in was smooth, but our room had issues. It was the only room without a number; the door number was on the floor. The bathroom toilet was running with condensation, and the handle kept sticking. There was blue painters tape on the walls, likely for mounting pictures or paint retouch. The shower water was cold despite running it for 10 mins. The coffee machine was dirty, there were no pots, pans, trash can or dish soap in the kitchen. I called the front desk, but no one answered. I walked over and no one was there but they eventually showed up. I explained everything to the attendant. They said we had the last room, no other rooms were available. Said they were in the middle of a renovation and admitted we got a room that wasn't finished yet. They said there were no showers in the gym or pool area. No engineer was available at night, but they’d fix it before we left in the morning. Morning came and it had not been fixed. Attendant said go eat breakfast and then they'd get us a shower to use. After eating we went to a room just to shower, then had to get our belongings. Attendant called & asked us to move to a third room that came available. We rushed to move our stuff and then leave. We left for the race at 10:30 am, 1.5 hrs later than we planned due to hotel delays. We missed all the opening ceremonies we wanted to see and had limited time to find seats. The delays heavily impacted our experience.

This is a terrific value. Room is super comfortable and all of the hotel staff are so friendly and helpful. We will definitely stay here when we come to Austin.

The room felt dark, the drawer in the bedside was missing. I didn't pay close attention to the destination when booking. its a 20+ min to the city.

Staff was great but property going through construction so our room looked new but there was drywall dust everywhere and could see paint on fixtures on the door. Room itself was nice but I feel like the crew that did the work did a crap job of finishing touches, was sloppy.

Highlights: clean, friendly staff, nice breakfast options, pool are was comfortable and clean. Areas of improvement: there was no shampoo in the dispenser, so making sure toiletries are stocked. Overall, very pleased with the hotel and will stay here again.

Front desk staff is very rude and dishonest. Female that checked me in on 4/4 failed to mention that the room that I booked and PREPAID was unavailable. When we went back to front desk, she advised us at that time that if you book through Expedia you are not guaranteed the room that you selected and that they are only required to provide you with a room. Expedia called front desk and the black guy advised Expedia that we were advised this when we checked in. The room given was a handicap accessible room with a roll in shower right by the back door. We explained to them repeatedly that we had a younger child and needed a bathtub. They could care less. We asked for a manager and were told there was not one and we were given a card with the managers number that RINGS BACK TO THE FRONT DESK. DO NOT STAY HERE. I have always booked Homewood through Expedia and have always been given what I paid for. This is the WORST Homewood. Never again. I wish I could give them zero stars!!

They are very relaxing and what I like most is that there are pulls, everything you need: kitchen, living room, kitchen utensils, everything super equipped. Since I'm going to Austin, this is my place to come and rest. 5 stars. Thank you very much for everything. I will return soon.

I book this propert frequently for family to visit. We love the rooms, staff, breakfast, snacks and most of all the pool!

This was a fantastic hotel. Thank goodness for them, but Expedia you suck! I will never book through you again, you did not save my reservation on your side and they did not have my reservation on my side. After you kept me on the phone for 40 mins to tell me I was out of a room and I was not going to get my money back. Homewood was able to give me a cheaper room and give me my money back. Thank you Homewood. Expedia never again!

Room space was good enough for 4 people. Breakfast was good, there’s some room to improve. Beds & mattresses were just fine, they were a little noisy! Not sure if it's doable or not, or how, but Hotel management need to do something on not allowing people to vape or weed inside the building or their rooms. You could smell it easily in some hallways and also during the night even in my room unfortunately!

It was my Grandsons 16 th birthday and it was to be poolside. The weather turned bad and we had to come inside. The guests were wet and cold and the front desk attendant made us a pot of coffee. Customer service excellent. Great breakfast as well

I requested a 1st floor room because i was traveling with a toddler but i needed a bathtub which they did not have. I called 1 week in advance to ensure that one would be held. Unfortunately thay did not happen and i was given the 4th floor. But nathan was very helpful in giving us a room on the first floor when it became available. Although it didnt have a tub i was happy thay my kid was able to be a 2yr. Nathan thank you for your attention and helpfullniess

We did not have a good experience. We only stayed one night while we were in town to go to the theater. When we returned and went to get in the bed there were live bugs under the pillows in our king suite. We were told there were unable to move us because our reservation was for a king suite and there were no other king suites available. So all 4 of us attempted to sleep on the pull out sofa bed in the other room. When we went down to get coffee after a sleepless night there was no creamer. When we asked the manager on duty for some coffee creamer she brought us 3. When then asked if we could have more for our 4 cups of coffee and she brought 3 more with a heavy dose of attitude. When we told her about the bugs and showed her pictures, we were informed there was nothing she could do since we booked thru a 3rd party. So no, I would no recommend staying here. The experience all around was not a pleasant one.

We enjoyed an overnight stay here recently as a family of 4 and enjoyed our experience. Plenty of parking, our King suite included a pull out couch for the kids and the kitchen was a plus. The pool, patio, and basketball court were also great. The breakfast was great with lots of seating in the lobby area. We will definitely keep this place in mind again for when we return to the Austin area. Thanks to the staff to for their willingness to help and for being friendly!

Upon arrival, I appreciated the ample parking and smooth check-in process. The front desk staff were very nice and efficient, which made for a great first impression. However, when I got to the room, I was shocked—it hadn’t been cleaned and looked like it had recently been used. There were pizza boxes and overflowing trash in the kitchen, dirty towels on the floor, and an unmade bed that clearly had been slept in. I was worried someone else might still be in the room. I immediately called the front desk and went back down. Unfortunately, they had no other king rooms available, which we had originally reserved. We were given a double queen room instead. It was clean and decent, but the smaller beds meant we had to sleep separately, which was not ideal. The next morning, breakfast was good and check-out was just as easy as check-in. I was told I would be compensated with reward points for the inconvenience, but I had to leave early for the Capitol and never received any follow-up, so I’m unsure if that ever happened. If it weren’t for the issue with the dirty room and the downgrade, this would’ve been a great stay. The staff were professional, but management needs to improve housekeeping oversight and room readiness.

The refrigerator was very load, something was very wrong. I thought about unplugging it. Also there must have been a soccer tournament in town because kids were running up and down the hallway for two nights.

Marilyn at the front desk should not work in the service industry. I dealt with her 3 times and each time it was like speaking to a wall. You cannot get a straight answer from her - every question I had was followed up with "um, I don't know" and a blank stare or silence on the phone. For example, Me: "are there any cribs available?", her: Hm, I don't know" then no action or follow up whatsoever. Then, "can we do a late check out?" "um I, don't know, there's a lot of people checking out" then doesn't look up any availability. I offered to pay extra to stay 1 more hour and she said "hmmm, I don't know $50???". I just left very frustrated with her. The room was also not very clean. The key card did not work in all entrances. Just not a very good stay at all. I am a Hilton Honors member and this is by far the worst hotel by Hilton I have ever visited. Will not return.

The location was great. However, our room was NEVER cleaned. We were apparently forgotten on the floor they put us on. That was very disappointing.

If I could give more than 5 stars, across the board, I would. I never leave reviews, but, I was compelled to make an exception this go around. Hats off to the entire staff and the professionalism they’ve demonstrated and anyone would be lucky to stay here. We loved it. Don’t get me started on the awesome pillows! Hands down best hotel stay ever! Gonna miss you guys and hope if I’m ever in the area again, I know where we are staying!

When i saw the stains on the bed sheets that was it and I asked to change the room . The girl at the counter apologized and changed my room and promised that the manager will contact me in the day after. I am still waiting. The other room was cleaner but the tiles at the bath were broken and the toilet paper was used. Very disappointing.

We had an amazing stay at the hotel , it was very clean and smelt like a new building . The staff were very welcoming especially Alysha at the front desk .we checked it at about 5pm it was snack hour , I mean hot broccoli cheese soup, garlic bread, salads you name it … this was served Monday to Friday, and breakfast every morning …..Our stay was one to remember and we will definitely be back . Being someplace that’s comfortable is very important to me and this was it !!!
