Parking was the only thing I can say was adequate. The hotel from top to bottom is old and dirty. There is active drug use that you can smell and people that are hanging around your vehicles. I had to get up and move my truck to a different part of the lot because when I looked at at 1230 am in the morning there were people right next to my truck. The staff was very accommodating because I had two instances I needed help one being my TV and one being my lights and both times the staff came to my room and fixed it. There is no security staff and the desk is closed all night. I did not feel safe.

I can’t give this 0 stars or I would. We arrived after 10:00 pm, unfortunately, but we’re unable to reach anyone at the phone number provided for over 45 minutes. In fact, I NEVER reached anyone by phone. We finally left and slept in a rest stop down the highway. We have contacted the hotel with no response. Very disappointing.

Scam. Booked 3 nights, Hotels app showed a total price of $195 after tax and stuff, then the property tried to charge me $277. When I asked Crystal at the front desk how that happened, she told me that’s how much 3 nights @ $53/night costs. After some back and forth, I was granted a full refund and was told to leave immediately. I have no intentions of going back, wouldn’t recommend it.

This property is geared towards extended-stay residents but worked fine for us for one night. We checked in about 9 PM and departed at 7:45 AM. Room was clean, bed OK, minimal toiletries. Did not use WiFi or TV. Outside dumpster was overflowing. Basic inexpensive accommodation.

The kitchenette had nothing in it. No utensils, knives spoons, forks,pans, plates,....nothing. the room had no toaster OR coffee maker. Cooktop was great, full size refrigerator was great. I had to stop and buy basic utensils and a pan, plus plates to eat off of. The bed was HORRIBLE. The most uncomfortable bed i have ever slept on. And even though it cam with 3 pillows. They were absolutely worthless. The deflated the minute you laid on them. All 3 were used on top of each other and i woke up with a massive headache/neckache. Not to mention my entire body ached because of the bed. Was exhausted the entire stay because a good nights sleep was impossible. I am in yown for work every week. I did not rebook for the reasons listed above. Will choose better accommodations elsewhere.

Even though there's a after hours check in policy posted on the website and outside the lobby, it was not honored and we were not permitted inside. We also were not provided a refund.

The staff are very friendly, attentive, and willing to help. They need to be more diligent about fumigating the rooms regularly. I found and killed a few small nighttime visitors in the bathroom and kitchen, but these things happen, and there weren't many. If they act quickly, they'll effectively tackle the problem.

I booked through Expedia on wood spring suites for 1 night at Amarillo tx . I called them before to let them know we will be arriving around 11pm for check in. They told to call from phone on wall and someone will come and check me in. Upon arrival there we could not check in at all. The phone was off the hook and broken. There was nobody at front desk to help. Called them several times and left messages.

Seemed unsafe. Lots construction workers. People had dogs in hallways. At 530 in morning when we left 3 guys in huge fight right at front doors. Scared us trying to get to our car. Lots commotion in hallways like 3am. People drunk.

They did not have a room that was handicap adh,i reserved a walk in shower,and the receptionest could seem to find one available,after checking out several rooms. I was left with a room that had a tub which i could not use. No lamps in the room , the phone in the room was out of order and when I called the front desk at 7:45 in the morning to get them too call my grandsons room so he could come take my dog out i got no answer,was sent to leave a msg,whih i did but never got a call back on my cell phone, so it was a terrible visit

I got what I paid for but it did smell funny and the main swing lock on the door was broken and the area/place didn't feel that safe at night. I was worried about my car outside. BUT, I feel I got what I paid for.

The guy at checkin was great. The room is simple, but the floors were sticky and the bed and pillows were horrible. The bed was so hard and the pillows did not hold their shape at all.

The cost was very reasonable, which justifies all of the mid-range evaluations. It was convenient for me, the check-in person had all my information and I was up in my room within 5 minutes.

- We found and killed a roach in our room. Pay more attention to the pest control. - It's too noisy and had difficulties to sleep the two nights I stayed. The neighbors are very noisy, not sure what happened at around 4 am today but the people staying in the top floor was like carrying big rocks. It wss very annoying. The first day we also noted that the noises make in others rooms were heard at our room very noisy. The positive thing is the guy at the reception. Very cool and kind guy. The room was ok overall. I would recommend it if you plan to stay 2-3 nights

There was no one at the front door when you got there get a call and then they tell you to wait outside until it showed up. When I got to my room, it smelled there was a human hair all over the bed.

It was midnight but I refused to check in. The receptionist then printed me a "refund receipt", saying it will be refunded to my credit card. Later I found out the card number number on it has nothing to do with my card with Holtels.com. It was a number that I don't have. When the card statement came, neither Hotels.com nor WoodSpring refunded the money. Contacts with Hotels.com got the answer money cannot be refunded because the hotel has strict rules. Watch out, travelers!

Went down to the desk the next am and they still denied charging my card. I'm pressed for time on my business trips and do not have time for this type of thing.

The light on the vent-a-hood did not work, but there was an overhead light that was sufficient. A bit noisy - roadway and trucks. TV would not turn on. Showerhead had good settings and water pressure was great (2nd floor). A bit on the high side of economic for what you got for your money.

How do you build a hotel this close to the freeway and not put in soundproof windows? How do you have such paper thin walls that I can hear anytime someone leaves their room? I understand it's a cheap hotel but I just wanted a bed I could sleep in before I drive ten more hours to get home.

We arrived to the hotel a few hours before 3 pm check in. Not only were we allowed to check in early but received an upgrade of our room. It was quick and easy. We arrived to the hotel a few hours before 3 pm check in. Not only were we allowed to check in early but received an upgrade of our room. It was quick and easy. In the parking lot, walking up to the door to check in there was broken liquor bottles everywhere. And we’re talking like right up to the property door. The next morning, all the glass was still on the ground everywhere.

Our window was shut, blinds down, but could still hear every noise outside. These walls must be super thin, or the birds in Texas sing very loud!

The $50 pet deposit listed is a pet FEE. You will not know this until youre checking in and can't cancel the reservation. Once youre checked in you get to climb 4 flights of stairs with blood splattered about on multiple floors. Room is equal to a college dorm, bed is not comfortable. First flush of the toilet it backed up. The really nice maintenance guy promptly took care of that issue. They really pissed me off with the "deposit" issue. Either the individual location is scalping people for the 50 or corporate is begging to get sued for false advertisement. Never again

The elevator looked like it hadn’t been cleaned in forever. The room was cleaner. There was lots of long-term guests. Finding staff was not easy…. If you had a problem in the night, I’m not sure what would happen. I’d probably look somewhere else to stay.

Anyhow, the room was very near the building door (for a quick in and out). On the room door - the swing lock was missing the ball end. So we could only rely on the door lock. The room had a kitchen (yay!), but didn't have any cookware, silverware or dishes (boo!) The room was dusty, dingy, plain and smelled like stale cigarette smoke. In the bathroom, the shower didn't work. The water came out at the faucet..and there was a showerhead, but there was no diverter to divert the water to the showerhead. (boo!) I don't think we were expecting an 'extended stay' type of hotel when we booked.

I took plenty of pictures because I was shocked at the disgusting filth at this property. When we arrived it was 30 minutes after the front desk was closed. I called ahead to let them know I would be arriving late. After working a full day and driving 5 hours to get there I was exhausted. By the looks of the hotel they appear to be understaffed as the man who checked us in appeared to wear many hats. However when we got ito the room it was dirty, the stove didn’t get cleaned, the refrigerator didn’t work the phone didn’t work there was no bedding! I couldn’t use the phone in the room to reach the attendant. After calling the hotel with my personal phone the man asked me if I would like to come get what we needed for the room. I told him no someone needs to bring it up and fix the room I didn’t pay to stay in a broken dirty room. The young man brought the sheets and blanket to the room and tried to hand them to me. I told him no sir I am not making this bed and staying in a dirty broken room. He was not going to fix the room so he said he would move us. He did and it was a bit better. The bathtub water wouldn’t turn off and the water ran all night on hot. Steaming the room. It was nearly midnight when we were settled in a room. Never Again!

The service is great and the overall appearance of the place ia clean but upon entering the room i found 1 roach on the bed, another roach walking on the floor and a few in the bathroom.... i was only passing through and checked in very late. I can not get passed the roaches

If you are traveling and bringing children, this place is not suitable for you. The floor of the rooms is very dirty and the smell of marijuana can be felt throughout the building.

Was checked into a room that wasn’t clean, no sheets on the bed, dirty trash etc. new room was at least fairly clean but generally run down and in poor condition. Service was very helpful and attentive tho

I was driving from Las Vegas to Norfolk since I am an active sailor and needed somewhere safe to stay to keep driving and BEWARE this disgusting place is ANYTHING, but safe. TV had a bullethole, toilet paper was not there, DIRTY is the understatement of the CENTURY, PLEASE PLEASE STYAY AWAY FROM HERE

They really need to have either a coffe vending machine or coffe makers in the rooms. That is the only real improvement i would suggest. Staff were very nice and attentive. Room was very clean, bed comfortable.

Smell trash bags and broken glass outside of elevator doors. No hot water at bathroom sink and the exhaust fan didn’t work. Room was very clean and hotel was quiet.

We didn’t end up staying.The first sign should have been when the police showed up for some serious issues going on. Then we walked to our room and opened the door and roaches were everywhere. Just proceed with caution when getting a room from here

Could not believe the price.$43 Dollars. Nice room and great staff. I will be making this My favorite place to stay when coming to Amarillo Texas

Was surprised at how nice the towels were. Was great value. Not fancy just functional, but with super nice towels.

Went for a quick trip. Go to my room and window was wide open and it was freezing in there. The room stank nasty. Then my room had no shower curtain and there wasn’t anyone at the desk to help. Says no smoking and the place smelled bad of cigarette smoke and also marijuana. Didn’t even get much sleep the floor above me was super loud all night till around 6 am and causing the dogs on the floor I was on to bark. Then you could hear doors slamming and people all night. They really need someone working 24/7 to keep things in order.

Kitchen had roaches

I checked into this hotel and the front desk guy was very nice. However, my room was filthy. Hair, dog food, dirty tub, old razor with hair left by the toilet. Room clearly hadn't been cleaned. I moved to another room and had to deal with dogs barking and running back and forth above me. It woke me up at 1am. When asked to check-out early I was told I could not check out. If I checked-in, why on earth could I not check-out. I contacted Expedia and they gave me the run around for a full week. Then I get an email saying they aren't able to get in touch with the hotel manager so because of this, I can't recieve a refund, how is that fair. I stayed there one night and now I'm stuck paying for days I didn't utilize the room. Absolutely disgusting response from Expedia and the hotel. I will be taking steps to recieve a refund.

"Horrible experience. There is no front desk, just a piece of paper with a phone number to call, and they take forever to answer. We couldn’t sleep because of a strong, unpleasant smell, and we couldn’t figure out where it was coming from. When I called to request a room change, they just said 'sorry' and hung up on me. Stay away from this hotel. It’s a complete lack of respect for the customer."
