Room was held together by tape and got up in the middle of the night and turned around and the sheets, and there was dried what looked to be blood stains on the end of the mattress dripped down. I doubt it was just very disturbing. Area didnt seem the best either.

There’s nothing much to say, I really enjoyed the place and I will definitely recommend to anyone to visit.

Due to severe allergies, we had to find a different place to stay. The person behind us had also booked a non-smoking room and was also out of luck. As a result, we will never book another stay at this, or any other location in this chain.

The lobby smelled clean, as did my room. Bed was lumpy.

Room seemed clean, bed was comfortable but bring your own pillows cause theirs are like rocks! Motel is a little run down, you get what you pay for and it suited our purposes, DOGS STAY FREE!!

There was nothing to like The bathtub drain had grime. Lights next to the beds did not work. Except for a dim ceiling light was one desk lamp. The security door latch was replaced with another device that would not have prevented a good kick to open the door. Advised receptionist at checkout about none working lights and not even an apology.

Room was Spartan but clean, bed was surprisingly comfortable. Wasn't the Ritz, but then we didn't pay triple-digit prices either. Would willingly stay there again!

Scummy and poorly kept. The owners are cheap and only care about their pocket book. They should look at the bigger picture and take pride in their property.

This was at 11pm so it was very unpleasant. You might think you’re getting a deal reserving at Motel 6. Just avoid the hassle and get an acceptable room else.

Quick access to I-40, clean, well-maintained, and inexpensive. Parking lot was a little rough but that’s only if I’m really digging to find flaws.

Close to highway No fridge, no coffee maker, no microwave, no wash cloths in shower, sheets were to small for bed and they kept coming off. Not worth the price of the room.

I found this motel while looking for a pet friendly and easy access from I40. The photos looked okay but they are deceiving. The room was filthy and warm. We put the AC unit on and set it at 64 and cool. It kept going on and off. And the air from the unit wasn’t cool. The floors were so dirty my dog was licking something left on the floor (food). She was also trying to get under the bed to get something. So I pulled the mattress so I could see what was under the bed. Tons of dust bunnies and dust on the walls. It hadn’t been cleaned in months is my guess. The sheets smelt clean but there were cigarette holes all over the sheets. We were there for about 20 minutes and left to find a new hotel. This was the worst hotel experience I’ve ever had. We did not ask for another room assuming they were all the same. At best this is a 1 Star motel. We left disappointed and we weren’t getting our money back.

The linens were very dingy! The surroundings felt unsafe. The property did not feel maintained as bathroom fixtures were faulty ( ex: no drain covers) and caulking was mildewed.

We ended up staying in the hotel just up from this motel. It was so dirty on the outside. Doors looked like they had been shot! Don’t stay here. I’m happy to have lost the $80, then to have lost my life staying here.

There were roaches coming up the pipes in the bathroom. The bedding and sheets were stained and torn. There were bugs crawling on the bed. We did not stay. We left. Unsanitary..

Pretty noisy location... In great condition relative to other Motel 6's... Its just right on the freeway, next time I would stay farther from I40... Traffic kept me awake even with white noise machine.

If you can afford it, pay a little more somewhere else. You get the basics here, but the sheets and towels are thin. The property appeared to cater to laborers celebrating on a Saturday night and then arguing at 4:30 in the morning. Not very restful.

Hotel wasn’t in the best area, but the rooms were cleaned every day. Overall, I wouldn’t stay there again unless I had too.

Ac did not work. Property could use a good upgrade. Overflow drain in bathtub rusted out.

The room was clean. Bed was comfortable. I liked having the fridge/freezer combo to keep food cold. The negative was the highway noise was very loud. Even with the a/c fan in high the noise woke me up several times during the night. Sounded like a plane landing. So with the lack of sleep I was disappointed when the lobby coffee was not hot.

I accidentally left my $120 pillow cube pillow on the bed. And called the same day. Nobody had any clue about it. Just wanted to get me off the phone. I asked if the could take my number down incase they found it. They took down my number and never recieved a call. They could have asked the housekeeper. I call a week later and a more helpful gentleman looked in lost and found and didn’t see it. It’s a rectangle. It doesn’t look like any other pillow. Spend a little extra and stay somewhere else.

This hotel is disgusting. I did not feel safe. The pictures are misleading, the outside is filthy and really needs maintenance. The bed sheets had large oily looking stains, black marks, and a burn hole. The in-room heater looked like it had been through a fire and was held together on one end with tape. The pillows were almost as hard as concrete. The towels were about the size of two hand towels. The sink did not get hot water. The shower head leaked like crazy and the shower curtain was hanging on for dear life. The side table was badly discolored from some previous spill. The freezer and microwave were filthy. Gross.

Close to interstate for easy/off when leaving the next morning. Also price was very reasonable and room was clean. Liked not having carpet but the easy to clean flooring. Nice working TV. That the pool (according to ad online there was a pool) was empty except for some green sludge at the very bottom ???. Window curtains let too much light in the room for sleeping.

A little disappointed in the room this time around. The little refrigerator made so much noise I had to unplug it to be able to sleep. Additionally, a little bug of some sort ran out from under the baseboard in the bathroom. Otherwise, it was clean and met our needs.

The clerk was sweet understand people are looking for affordability but this location simply was a dump on the inside. I'm scared to go to sleep and the only reason why I'm staying is my boyfriend is with me. Just look at the photos. They don't lie. For a motel 6 their reputation used to be good! Never again! Don't sacrifice your safety, and lack of care for the rooms to save a buck at this location. Other than a modern credenza and tv everything else sucked. The bed feels like you're sleeping on a brick. Pillows are flatter than a pancake! Sad sad sad

We stop here several times a year on our commute from rural Oklahoma to Albuquerque and it is always a pleasant stop, Just a basic hotel, beds are not luxury but are comfortable, decent shower, staff is always helpful and friendly, perfect for our simple needs.

I liked how it met my most important needs of safety and everything functioning in my room. Further, I put in a maintenance request for my door lock and a service man was knocking at my door the same day, which I greatly appreciated. Unfortunately, I tracked and smashed small bugs and a cockroach/beetle in my room each day ... and the Wi-Fi was extremely slow to where my phone data was faster on the cellular connection. Finally--and the Motel has no control over this--about 30% of my stay was unnecessary extra-loud music and engine revving from vehicles, day and night. If you can sleep through that noise, this place will work out for you. Finally--and I don't know if this is a new standard in motels--they only provided soap, no shampoo. Lucky for me, I save the tiny unused shampoos from other hotels and had them on my person, to use, here.

The moon smoking rooms are alot better than the smoking. I enjoyed the peace and quiet and how fast my check in was. The front desk lady was very polite. Thank u I'll definitely be back.

No basket for coffee maker. No working plugs in sink area. The beds are hard and on a platform that’s a killer for shins. But… it was a place to sleep with no bugs.

I stayed here and was concerned for my safety. There was a man with gold clubs circling the hotel and signs everywhere telling you to lock your car and deadbolt your door. Additionally upon arriving the staff told me not to walk along the back of the hotel because dogs had been attacking hotel guests. On top of that everything in the room was broken. Bed collapsed on one side and duct tape on the floor. The staff was nice but that was the only plus. Keep on driving, not worth the risk staying here.

Like the double bed option and pet friendly for all sizes and breeds for free!!!! Clean and the beds were comfy. Fridge was so noisy I had to unplug it and you can hear the freeway when your room is up front like mine. But I slept through the night so I’ll take it!

The bathroom door was off of its hinge and seemed to have been that way for awhile. The flooring was taped down. The swimming pool was not functional. That was not mentioned when making reservations. The bed was a bed frame you would find in a cheap hotel. Not a good experience.

Arrived really late but front clerk kept 2 rooms together for us on the ground floor as she knew we were bringing dogs. Super friendly and will definitely stay here again if passing thru. Large angled truck/RV parking in back is great except for cars that were blocking it.

The room was ran down condition. Bathroom door wasn’t close because the door hinge was broken. No shampoo or conditioner. Bed cover had many holes and looked so old. I don’t know why this hotel has a decent rating. I will never stay here again.

Genuinely don’t understand how or why this was listed as highly reviewed amongst Expedia users but this place was so dirty. We didn’t even sleep in the bed and brought our own pillows and blanket from the car so we could sleep on top of the bed. There was hair in the sheets and a gnarly stain. The room itself smelled like old stale cigarettes and we didn’t use the shower (which was much needed after 10 hours in a car). I will honestly never book with Motel 6 again based on this one horrible stay. Highly recommend booking elsewhere.

The stay was exactly as expected from a Motel 6! Not frilly but well taken care of, clean, comfortable, and safe. A good place to put my head at night and then get clean and back on the road in the morning!

The room has been updated. Vinyl flooring. The sheets had some stains and even holes in the sheets. The sheets were clean, they just obviously don’t trash them or rip them into rags when they need to be retired. There was also a hole in the bedspread. The hand towels are SUPER thin. But the AC was quiet. This is what $70 bucks gets you.

Typical 2-Star hotel. Cheap rate = cheap accommodations. You get what you pay for. I was just passing through and I needed a place to sleep for 6-8 hours and this did the job. Got up, showered and left.

Typical 2-Star hotel. Cheap rate = cheap accommodations. You get what you pay for. I was just passing through and I needed a place to sleep for 6-8 hours and this did the job. Got up, showered and left.

Okay for single-traveler, one-night, motel chain. Did not like the prevelance of insects floating around. Worst thing was shower/bath did not have any non-slip protection on floor of tub/bath. Slipping is not in anyone's best interest and I found myself slipping too easily. Easy fix, I'd think. Otherwise, no real problems.

The room was ok. The bathroom door was taped together with tape some of the flooring was coming up and felt like it had soft spots. You could see light through the side of the door and we had to have a card key reset two times

Got to hotel and had confirmation number but was told not in system although had confirmation thru Expedia. Never resolved with motel 6 but Expedia was able to put me up in another hotel nearby

The air conditioner didn’t work in my room it was broken bath tub stopped up wasn’t very clean the shower barley worked wasn’t how they have it pictured the pool was empty and couldn’t be used

In the night time someone bumped my vehicle setting off alarm. Before I could get out of bed and turn off alarm night time management called room threatening expulsion from hotel without even asking what happened. When I attempted to speak with management the following morning they would not allow me to express my concerns and without hearing a single word from me accused me of cursing at night time management. In short, the management are inconsiderate bullies willing to lie about guests for absolutely no definable or intelligent reason beyond sadistic pleasure. I cannot recall having been more offended and my wife if 24 years was absolutely appalled. I never spend a single penny on motel 6 or any entity of which I know that may be associated with them on any level. Overall it was a terrible experience.

This Motel 6 overall was clean. We stay here everytime when traveling from AZ. It is a pet friendly motel and set up well for pets. There were 4 pillows but are flat. The bedspread had holes in it but clean. Mattress not plush but adequate. Area safe but highway noise is noticable unless you have heater running. Towels and bathroom very clean and enough for 1 night stay.

I travel with two 12-pound Chahuahuas so Motel 6 is the perfect option for me on an overnight stay while doing a multi-day drive. They are prcied fairly, tend to be clean and comfortable with amenities like a fridge and microwave, and they're not weird about the dogs. I would definitely stay here again.

This Motel is great! Have stayed here before and will definitely again. I reported a strange odor in the room to the desk when I checked out. Other than that, all was very good. Good friendly staff and clean rooms.

The beds were hard and not very comfortable

Snow storm came and roads closed so needed somewhere cheap quickly. Room was really clean and bed was comfortable and thats all anyone can ask for.

Compared to the other Motel 6 in Amarillo, this one was immaculate!

Late night stay. Easy checkin and fast to sleep. Extremely convenient

It is never a good sign when you have to slip ID through a slot and the front desk sits behind bullet proof glass. End result was an uneventful stay and coffee in the morning.

For the most part the room was clean..a few things could be cleaned better. The a/c unit fins are filthy. The bathroom floor corners were dirty. Bed was pretty stiff. Neighborhood may be a bit sketxhy.

Pretty sure they didnt change the sheets before my arrival. Door was damaged and had a gap. It did its job, but I never felt comfortable.

There was no electricity all night long so didn’t get to shower or nothing it really sucked

The area was somewhat away from services but the Mexican restaurant and its staff were great

I checked in and got to my room didn't really look as I left right away to get dinner. Came back and found floor was ducktaped. Then found the door had a big gap in it and wouldn't seal. Then went to use the restroom and found rust in the shower deal. Then go lay down on the bed and found a long black hair. Which I have short blonde hair. So then went and asked to switch rooms which the lady upfront did after calling someone. 2nd room had the same issue with door. Room looked pretty decent like they updated not long but can fix doors I guess. The bed and pillows are the worst. I had 2 nights booked but left the next day because my back hurt so bad.

It was Motel 6. Room was clean, staff was friendly and helpful. Neighborhood looked a little sketchy, but security appeared to be very good. Had no issues getting in or out of the property.

The room was clean and great for under $60. The only negative about this hotel is that people drive their loud cars up and down the surrounding streets a LOT. I wasn’t sure I would be able to sleep but the noise stopped by 10 or 11 pm

The mattress was so old you could hear and feel every spring when you laid down.

Horribly run down property. Room 139 with Duct tape holding flooring down, filthy moldy and rusty bathtub fixtures. A giant bubble on the ceiling that looks as though it may burst. Disgusting landscaping full of dog feces and trash. Loud noises all night long. A man hammering and working on his car at 11:00 pm. I have stayed in Motel 6 locations for over 40 years. I have never had a more unpleasant stay at a Motel 6 location. This property will do nothing but hurt the Motel 6 brand. If this is what is considered acceptable, I will have to re-think before ever staying at a Motel 6 again.
