The room was clean, the beds & pillows were very comfortable. We didn’t have to really talk to the staff other than checking in & they were friendly & helpful. We really enjoyed the warm breakfast!

Evidently the carpet had just been cleaned and was still wet. Two remotes for TV made it hard to use. Breakfast was cold. They have some work to do.

location was very sketchy, upon arrival, i saw a homeless lady completely nude on top , very pregnant, and a lot of other street life, not a bad hotel, just wasn't comfortable staying alone in the area

"Handicap spaces" ... there was only 1 near the front door to be able to check in. The staff told me there were 4 more on the back of the building. I ended up parking in a standard spot near my entrance. It was a decent hotel and worth what I paid for a night.

It was very Clean The directions link that was in the confirmation email took us to a completely wrong place. We were miles away from the hotel. Had to call and get directions. She said it happens a lot. She was very helpful but it was a bit stressful since we were unfamiliar with the area.

When we arrived we had a room with a conjoined door. As soon as we began to settle in a man began shouting at his wife in the next room. When we went to the front desk to see if we could change rooms we were told they were booked up. It seemed like a remodeled property.

Outstanding staff with a nice bed in a quiet room.

Room was spacious and clean. We were in the back of the hotel and could not hear any noise from the highway. Bed was very comfortable. Breakfast was really great with lots of variety to choose from. Nice surprise was fresh made cookies offered at check in.

Overall appearance and cleanliness was top notch. Staff extremely engaging and friendly. The location was very difficult to get to. Access from interstate was very confusing and difficult to navigate.

Room was big and clean and the beds were comfortable. Just stayed one night while we were passing through. It was right off the highway so convenient. Excellent breakfast options. This was the first time in decades I've seen a hotel have bacon for breakfast. I was surprised.

Easy, friendly check-in process with perfect dinner recommendation after long travel day. Spotless, spacious room, comfortable bed. We were most impressed with the continental breakfast including homemade muffins, as well as scrambled eggs, fruit, and a variety of other items. The quality of items, especially those homemade muffins, would bring us back.

The lady at the front desk greeted us with a genuine welcoming smile. We knew we picked the right place when we walked into the lobby.

Breakfast was good, and there were things to eat that most people would eat. The coffee was standard, but the eggs were real eggs from the shell. The area is a little close to the interstate, but was quiet enough that there was not trouble getting to sleep.

No automatic doors meant it was hard to get luggage in and out on a luggage cart. It was hard to get into the parking lot from the freeway. The oncoming traffic does not yield, but that isn’t the fault of the hotel. The mattresses were harder than other hotels I’ve stayed at, but the pillows were great, and they were large. The room was clean but there was a bit of a smell. I couldn’t tell if it was musty or if somebody had been smoking in the building. The room did not smell, just the hallways. The hot breakfast was outstanding! There were options for everybody. It was all fresh, hot, and cooked perfectly. The eggs were real, the biscuits were huge, and there were a ton of options even though the dining area is deceptively small. The attendant was really on top of refilling everything and cleaning up. We will probably stay here again just for the breakfast quality.

Location was off I40 and easy to get to. The hotel looked brand new and very modern. Breakfast was excellent with scrambled eggs, sausage, biscuits and gravy, waffles, yogurt from a machine, muffins, including a gluten-free one, and they looked bought locally. The room was very comfortable. The sink was in the room, the shower had good pressure, and the bed was firm. We were pleasantly surprised. Staff was very friendly and welcoming. The only issue we had at all was that one of the card readers from a door down the hall to the outside did not always want to work, but it wasn't a problem. The staff was aware of it and was working on it.

A few issues with the maintenance of the room. Hot and cold water faucets were reversed, toilet seat would not stay up.

Everything was great! NO ELEVATOR for 2nd floor! Check in was great. Checkout time is 11 & house cleaning literally opened our door at 9 & again at 10 when i finally said checkout time is 11 that’s when you can come clean!

I had the most amazing experience here. I have no complaints whatsoever. Customer service was excellent, rooms were exceptionally clean, breakfast was great, and as a truck driver I appreciated the spacious and secured parking they provided in the back of the hotel. I would definitely recommend this BW to others and would return again.

This should perhaps be put in the description of the property so people that have a hard time navigating stairs would know to pick the first floor or if not available then go somewhere else.

No good breakfast options

I could not get the TV to work and the staff just ignored me. I went down to the front desk three times and the girl behind the desk said she could not find me! Seriously? I gave her my room number. I never did get that television to work. If the television is going to be so difficult for some—they should provide instructions. There are a lot of choices in Amarillo and that would never be somewhere I would stay again. The beds also are very uncomfortable. The mattress was way too big for the platform it sat on.

This is an older property so there are signs of wear and tear. The bathroom ceiling in the room had big mold spots that should be wiped clean. Otherwise, the room was clean and the beds were comfortable. The pool had tumbleweeds and trash in it from the recent wind storm that blew through town, so we decided not to swim. The breakfast was good with lots of variety - eggs, sausage, biscuits and gravy, waffles, fruit, pasteries, and yogurt. The yogurt is in a machine and stuck in a corner so it wasn't easy to spot. The check-in process went smoothly. The staff were friendly.

The service was great! Check-in was a breeze. Didn’t check well enough and didn’t realize it didn’t have an elevator. The room was clean and good size. However the tv didn’t work and the drain in the shower was broken. Good pet area for dogs.

It was pretty loud. They can’t help all the trucks going by on I40, but for some reason the toilet would loudly fill about every 5 to 10 minutes. Also, there is a light that only dims when you turn the switch off; it doesn’t turn off. It was too bright to be considered a night light.

Everything was great. The television system leaves something to be desired. There are two remotes, one for the TV and one for Dish. It takes both to make it work but there are no instructions on how to operate it. Very frustrating. Everything else was ideal.

It was a crowded parking lot. Air was out in lobby. Free breakfast but small eating area. Was decent for a one night stay.

Quick stop for rest driving though, hotel was clean and comfy. We arrived at almost midnight, receptionist was very friendly. Left ar 7 am the next receptionist was also cheerful and friendly. Nice to see workers who aren’t just “doing their job” friendly and informative no matter the time. Beds were comfy too. I would stay her again!

This property is old and outdated. That was a busy weekend in Colorado Springs and we booked accommodations at the last minute. It was wasn’t a good value.

The location is not glamorous. It is right off of I40 on the east end of Amarillo, BUT the hotel was impeccably clean, the staff helpful and friendly, the pool was great, beds comfortable, hot shower with great water pressure, AND breakfast was surprisingly good! I pass through Amarillo quite a bit and this will be my new place to stay!

Checked in late and was pleasantly surprised to be greeted as soon as I walked in, without having to wait for someone to arrive. Room was spacious. Shower was great! Perfect pressure, perfect temps and a soft towel. It seems very quiet, but it’s also the middle of the night. I don’t hear any traffic noise or anything at all though. I would definitely stay here again.

Our room was nice and spacious and very clean as was the rest of the hotel. We never heard any of the traffic from the highway, but our room was on the back part of the hotel. The only thing that wasn’t excellent was our tv would pause every once in a while for a few seconds like the internet was not strong enough.

It was a nice hotel. The room was clean. The bathroom was good. The shower was ok. I hated the fact of dispencers were used to pump out their shampoo and body wash. I used my own, but they were right in the way on the wall where you stand. I have a bruise on my arm where I hit it all the time. The breakfast was Excellent. Didn't expect eggs, sausage, waffles, cereal, biscuit and gravy, OJ, and coffee. I would stay here again. Thanks

Fantastic service, clean, comfy bed and pillows. Great breakfast. We came in late with two young kids, Sandra at the front desk had us registered and keycards ready, even gave me milk and hot chocolate mix for them. Will stay next time we pass through.

The room was very nice but the hotel was not convenient to get to if the interstate and there were no restaurants or fast food nearby. We choose this because it was pet friendly and chose a pet friendly room but there was no indication that there was an additional upcharge for our pet. When we arrived, I was informed there was an additional $30 for our small dog. Other sites, I booked through Expedia, usually list an additional pet fee or tell you one will be charged. The staff informed me that they “have no control over that in a third party site”. That should be listed in details about the hotel/room.

A well maintained clean establishment with friendly staff. What I noticed is what I didn’t notice. There was no musty smell or well worn carpeting. Breakfast was good with a good variety of recently prepared items.

Bed was hard. Cable went out. Not enough breakfast for the amount of people.

The receptionist was very friendly and efficient - I was checked into my room within a couple of minutes. The room was very clean, and all amenities were available. The bed was comfortable, and the shower was awesome! The breakfast was hot and well prepared. My stay was wonderful.

This was our fourth stay here and the first time to not be on the main floor. There is no elevator. I have no idea how a hotel can operate without an elevator. If our 87 year old parents had been with us the stairs would have been impossible. I never noticed by either reviewing the website or physically viewing the hotel that there was no elevator.

Great nights sleep!

My trip through Amarillo was interrupted and finding this place saved by sanity. Every staff member I encountered was kind and courteous. The facility is clean and the bed was comfortable. I had only planned to stay a few nights but when I ended up having to stay for more than a week I was thankful I had chosen this facility.

We have traveled about 6,000 miles the last 2 months, always staying at hotels in the hundred bycks range and this was the best. Large clean room, helpful gal at the front desk and lots of options for breakfast. They had a convenient option for ordering in as we didn't feel like getting in the car to drive somewhere.
