Front Desk Service was fantastic: 30 second Check In. Sadly the key didn't work, but clerk immediately walked me to the room and opened it up for me! Thank You Little Loud. Residents on Sunday night were particularly active, and traffic noises also made it past my earplugs

The staff were respectful and helpful every time. Just remember people respect the staff also. This is a very great motel/ hotel for the price. If there were more customers this place could also do upgrade and more bigger maintenance items. But over all clean sheets, NO bedbugs/ticks so that's a plus. NO people trying to break into your car is a plus. Everybody is quiet, AC gets cold when needed. Light is good and you have a few wall lamps scattered around the room. I will be returning for the time I spend here.

The room was exactly what we needed it to be. A comfortable, safe place to lay our heads before our roadtrip. The place was clean, beds were comfy, and every thing worked as it should. Very glad we found this place last minute!

I checked in then checked out a couple of hours later. It's located I40. Traffic noise was secondary to noise from other guests playing loud music. Next I heard a gunshot. Scratchy, stained sheets. Dirty carpet. Pool filled-in with dirt. All doors look like they have been jimmied by thieves. Check-in staff was friendly though.

Staff is way more than accommodating, sensible and by far tge most compassionate honestly in all my years I've never been somewhere and and felt like others actually genuinely care as deeply as I do. I Definitely recommend staying here might not be an upitty place but it is far from slum loved my stay and actually booked more nights here.

The smell of the cigarettes and we got a room non-smoking

Initial impression on check in- the office reeked of cigarette smoke. As someone with asthma, it was very uncomfortable and off-putting. Walking up the stairs, every step was cracked. One broke as soon as my foot hit it and I almost fell face first into the rest of the stairs. The shower was tiny, poor water pressure, it looked like some towels were missing, there's evidence of water leaks. The bed was uncomfortable, pillows left my neck very stiff and sore today. The lock didn't want to go back into the door...but it was clean. I selected this hotel/ chain based off previously positive experience with other properties but this was not on the same level.

Breakfast was a complete joke. Rooms looked very worn. I guess you get what you pay for.. Sad.

I liked that it was right along the freeway corridor. I liked that it was inexpensive. I liked that it offered ice so I could fill my cooler when I left. Laundry room is locked up so I had to wait for staff who was waiting on someone getting their clothes- both at check in and check out. I didnt like all the cats that seemed to live there, along with other long-term residents. Parking lot gave me the ick, and I worried my vehicle would be broken into it as I couldnt park near my room. Someone was listening to very loud music for hours. The nearby Walmart was also so sketchy.

Person checking us in was very friendly. we were promised a king room with parking by room. That room had not been cleaned. We settled for a room with a twin bed. Room was old and not cleaned very well. Lock on door was broken.

This was one of the worst Motels I have ever spent an evening. Completely misrepresented based on the pictures. Room smelled of urine, bed blanket had a cigarette burn hole, dead bugs on the floor.

Rooms where smelly had to go buy my own cleaner had to clean rest room before use Cockroaches in both rooms BAD!!!! Bought bug spray for them and ended up leaving a day early because of the nasty mess

I booked a non smoking room, yet the cigarette stench in my room was unbearable. Even after driving 15 hours, it was so bad that I decided to keep driving home, another 8 hours.

Rooms are very small and very dated. We had to stay a night due to road closures.. rooms ate ideal for a person or a couple.

It’s a budget property where the staff is doing the best they can however the property is poorly maintained and neglected. You can have a budget property where the doors work and don’t smell.

The photos is misleading place is a spot for drug users, i looked at the room and left

Property mowed upfront but not behind scenes, pool out of order and eye sore, stray cats and kittens around motel.

2 Double beds, listing says Room Sleeps 4. They provided 1 bath towel, 1 hand towel and 2 washcloths! Dead bolt does not work. Weird glue-like substance on the wall and toilet seat. No lid on toilet. Obligatory cockroach in the bathroom. (it is Texas!) The shower curtain has stains, looks like it was used to wrap up road kill and then poorly rinsed off. However, it does have a refrigerator, microwave and TV, but you can only use two of the three at any one time, not enough outlets. And it's cheap, if that's your thing.

Booked from Expedia. Motel told us they could not find our booking record in their system. The reception guy let us waiting for about 15 minutes and said he sorted out the issue. I found they double charged me. The issue is pending bank dispute.

Did not spend the night. Desk clerk was dirty. Room look like they would charge sheets by the hour. Did not stay there. Went to the Hampton Inn. Even though I had insurance I lost the money because it was after the cancellation time. It was so bad I didn’t care. I would not ask a rat to sleep there. Should be removed from Expedia’s site!

Sarah and Jenny checked me in and they are so nice and very helpful. They gave me a room on the bottom floor so that I wouldn't have to walk upstairs. They were very nice on explaining everything to me about breakfast and how to order room service if I wanted. I was so impressed with my room. It had all the modern amenities. You can charge your phone from the light fixtures, the AC is ice cold, the beds were very soft and plush with real bed covers. I slept very well and couldn't hear any noise from adjacent rooms. This is my new go to hotel whenever I'm in the area.

It took 4 trips to the office to get into the room. When I finally got in the bed was dirty. Falling apart in places. It was low cost but expected more even at the low price.

staff is extremely rude. i travel for work & i’ve stayed in americas best value inns all over america. this is by far the dirtiest, the staff is the rudest. spend the couple extra dollars to go literally anywhere else. their sinks leak & they have BUGS. not to mention all the people on drugs that live here. cops are here every night. i do not recommend!!

This hotel is not what it appears to be online. The only accurate item was the walk in shower. This whole place need to be replaced inside and out. Room look to be clean once you first step in , but with further investigation, you will see all the roaches come out like crazy ! Then for some reason flys where in my room even though i never had door open enough for them to come in. Convenient, yes , but for a long stay. NEVER AGAIN !

Definitely an old ran down, not maintained property. Looks and feels exactly like a hooker for the hour type of place. After 12 hrs on the road, this is a cheap place for a quick night sleep but DEFINITELY wouldn't stay here longer than that. This place is in need of serious updating and repair, not to mention the shady questionable environment around seems unsafe of unsavory characters. The office staff are nice but thats literally all this place has going for it. I surely wouldn't bring little kids here. The room was bare, old, basic, shower stall too too small. Overall, for the one night price, it was doable. But beyond that, I'd go somewhere else.

If you are on a VERY low budget this is youd place. I traveled with dpousr, dog snd cat. Im sorry just because I have animals doesnt mean I have to sleep in a dog pin. When the A/c kicked in it made the smell worse. Im not totally blaming motel. Shame on other people for not potty training your animals . I will suggest for hotel to invest in a product called Alive. It kills the urine smell where other animals wont mark their territory. I had to use the sheet as a face mask as I slept. The picture on Expedia did not match what I saw in person. Not even the landscaping. I will no longer trust Expedia on booking hotels.

The staff member at the reception desk was helpful, friendly and kind. The room was clean and comfortable. The grounds were improved from our last visit. There was less trash and less dog droppings.

Clean facilities. Smelled a little stuffy but we turned on the a/c and it felt much better after. The mini fridge re-froze our ice, which is more than can be expected from most mini refrigerators. Building looks old but some stuff looks redone and its clean. Would stay here again. :)

For 44$ a night it’s worth the money and the morning take along grab bag is a good idea, it just needs juice choices to elevate the idea. …. Staff was very helpful and full of kindness …. I can say yes stay here when money is your main issue… it’s a good bed to sleep on.

We had been driving for 12 hours and we where exausted, we where able to check in with no problem. Yes its a older building, but the rooms where clean and the woman at the front desk was super sweet. We checked in at 11 pm and she made it quick and easy

As I stated yesterday, there was a family fight going on and when we went to our room we were cussed out. We called the manager. He said police was called but did not show up. The clerk at the motel had the people to leave. We felt the place was not safe. The clerk ushered us to our car and he told us that he would refund charges to the room since we did not used and not safe. The inside of the room was below standards. I would suggest Expedia stop listing them since it would reflect good on Expedia.

The check in went very well. The management made sure I received a room with a king size bed. I requested smoking room but it wasn't available. All was good otherwise.

It was an OK stay for just a night. It was late and I was tired and in a hurry to find something just for me for the night. The smoke alarm kept beeping, then it would stop, then when I would get to sleep it started again. No phone in the room and I didn't want to go outside to the front lobby. The lobby staff was nice at check in and check out.

We booked a King suite but we did not get it. Hotel has people in back staying for a lengthy time. One lady had 3 cats staying with her and their poop was all over the grounds. Rooms do not look like pictures.

Let me start off by saying that the front counter guy was super nice and helpful. I asked for a 1st floor room, because I had my dogs, and one is a puppy still(frequent potty breaks), and he only had 1 available he said, and it was a smoking room... First of all, I knew it would smell bad, but oh my..... worse stale smoke smell ever. But, I can't really complain about that, because it WAS a smoking allowed room. HOWEVER, it was a super creepy place to stay. Really loud, right by the freeway, kind of expected better sound insulation maybe?? But, my room's window was cracked, temperature control knob was not working properly, There was an OBVIOUSLY abandoned car right outside my room, multiple feral cats around, as someone was feeding them. So, cat pee smell too. Outside garbage cans were ALL overflowing, hadn't been emptied in a while. Now, the bed was incredibly hard and uncomfortable. I was also semi worried about taking a shower, because I couldn't tell if it was just really old and some built up crap, but yuck...., I did sleep, but only because I had been driving for 16 hours and was exhausted. I know this was a cheaper hotel, but geeze.. it was bad. Will definitely NOT be staying here again.

It was a place to sleep, that basically sums it up. I don’t know if the shower was stained with something unknown or it wasn’t cleaned properly but I didn’t wish to take a shower. The bed sheets were burned by cigarettes and there were hairs all over it making us think the covers weren’t changed nevertheless washed. The area didn’t feel safe at all and I considered just leaving but we just wanted to rest.

I liked that it was a smoking room but did not feel safe despite the property being well lighted around my room. It had more to do with other guests than the property. My dogs would not settle and sleep so I ended up leaving at 1:30 am.

Great quick overnight stop as we were crossing the state. Pet friendly which was awesome because he had our kittens with us. The trash outside our unit in the stairwells was very very full and overflowing and clearly had not been emptied recently. Other than that it was a very pleasant experience. Parking lots were extremely well lit at night which was great as far as security for our vehicle. They even gave us a little goodie bag of breakfast stuff when we checked out which I thought was super awesome. Bottled water, granola bar, some donuts. Such a sweet thing to do.

Hotel was not clean. It seems,the towels provided were not clean as it has brown hair on it. Further the pictures provided online and the actual hotel is totally different. Hotel location was not good. I wouldn't recommend the hotel for family

There wasent a fridge no microwave when i asked for one they told me no. The housekeepers were rude and didnt clean only brought towels!!! Never again will i stay there!!!

Horrible. We checked in and saw our room and promptly checked out. The door jam looked like it had be pried open several times, the walls were filthy and the room smelled like bleach. We did not feel safe here at all. After checking into a new hotel, they told us the one we had just left us know for prostitution.

This was the worst hotel we have ever visited. The room was tiny and old. The beds were old and when I lifted the sheet there was a drop of bright red blood near the foot of the bed (seriously concerned about bed bugs). We did not stay. The room was priced at $90 per night and it was worth $30 at the most. There were no other affordable rooms in Amarillo (or in any of the cities between Amarillo and Pueblo, CO). We drove 6 more hours to get home early the next morning. This hotel was rated at 7 out 10 (good). This is not an accurate rating.
