Clean room - breakfast was disappointing.

The check-in staff were friendly; however, that is really where the good ends. The room I was in was on the 3rd floor. Immediately after arriving to the room a housekeeper came in, without knocking. Said she was "checking" the room. Why not knock first if you weren't sure if it was occupied? The carpet in front of the elevators and the halls were coming up in several places, making it near impossible to roll luggage on it. The trash by the elevators was constantly overflowing. The air conditioner worked well, but was so loud and interrupted our sleep each time it came on. The bathroom and towels all had hair everywhere. A large floor lint roller and wiping hair from the shower and bathroom walls would have been a nice touch. The breakfast area had plenty of options; however, we did not eat it because the overall dirtiness and neglect throughout the hotel had me concerned about the cleanliness of that area. Hotel was in a convenient location. I would not stay here again unless the management team put quite a bit of TLC into deep cleaning, fixing failing issues (air and trash) and replace carpet.

This property is beautiful! The room was very clean and super spacious! Breakfast was wonderful with many options available. The staff were great as well! It is within walking distance to the Big Texan and the Cadillac Ranch is a maybe 15 minute drive up the road. Would highly recommend a stay!

We went on a 10-day road trip and the Hampton hotels we stayed at were our favorites. As a family of 6 with 4 kids, the rooms at the Hampton hotels we stayed at were the best. There is a lot of room and the ability to log in to our Disney plus account was a huge plus for us as well. The pools were clean and the facilities as a whole were clean and we were comfortable.

The rugs/carpet in the hallways are seriously gross and smell horrible. Great breakfast options and most staff we encountered were very kind.

We reserved a studio. It was very spacious and clean! Breakfast was also good. A lot of selections.

Our stay was great! We loved that the room was unusually spacious. The beds were comfortable, and the shower was hot with good water pressure. The breakfast had good variety and was tasty. My kids also enjoyed the indoor pool and hot tub. Overall this was a great stay, and we would stay again if we are ever in Amarillo.

My wife and I routinely travel between our two homes, staying in a couple of hotels going each way. This hotel in Amarillo was one of the nicest hotels we've stayed in during our travels.

Really like this hotel. We stayed an extra night.

Everything was good except for breakfast. The employees responsible for breakfast were very rude (one Spanish speaking woman in particular), the waffle mix was completely messed up (it was like water), many of the items were out, and anytime we tried to ask her for anything she was rude.

Amazing and great Breakfast!

Lobby smelled of too much Fabulosa cleaner. That stuff smells terrible. Room was clean, bed was beyond its lifespan, needs to be replaced. If you stay in Amarillo, you know the smell of the air outside is terrible. When you turn on the hvac you will experience the wonderful aromas of manure and a dog food processing plant nearby.

Truck was broken into in the parking lot and staff showed no interest in helping.

Forgot my IPHONE in room, I was 200 miles out before I realized it. I called, they had it, they helped me know and understand how to get it mailed to my house. Room was clean. I left before breakfast.

This hotel has always been a convenient and appreciated stop on our trips to the western part of the US. This was our 5th stay at this hotel since it opened around 2016 and will likely be our last. The property is not being maintained well. The staff look like they just got out of bed or a piecing parlor. No greeting, no acknowledgement as an Honors Member. We were in an accessible room that had a faint musty smell. We discovered why after taking a shower - the water was leaking into the bedroom through the wall and the carpet got wet. The drain vent in the floor was also a source of odor. We covered it with a towel to help with the smell. We did report the problem the next morning. No apology, but at least a muttered thanks for telling. Honestly the lack of energy by the staff was ridiculous.

The breakfast was great. Location is good. The hotel is relatively clean overall. Cons: Our shower only had very hot water (Room 411) The elevators are slow and the buttons shock you. A/C took all night to cool room from 75 to 72.

Spills on the wall, fridge won’t stop buzzing, and all rolls of toilet paper have been wet and soaked up some pink color around the edges. I am a fan sleeper and this hotel had one fan for the whole building and someone was using it. Ready to hit the road in the morning.

Front staff member wasn't friendly at all with our Emotional Support Animal (ESA) Dog but ended up not charging us. This hotel needs to be rebuilt. Look for others that are newer to stay in.

Area not great for dining other than a famous steakhouse. Airport area so more of an industrial area. Complimentary breakfast was not bad. Very clean. Coffee available from 3am! That was nice as I get up around 5am. Very satisfied.

Clean with friendly staff. Had a party going on till midnight next door to my room. . Music too loud to sleep. Staff was responsive to my request to ask them to turn the music down. Party goers , not so much. But the party broke up just in time.

This is by far the nicest hotel we have ever stayed at! Very clean and spacious.

When we first got there, there was a mix up with our room, but the main lobby person took care of us and put us in a great room, and even let us do a late check out since we came in so late at night.

We had booked a stay at the Hampton Hotel in Amarillo, TX, but our experience was so disappointing that we declined to stay. Upon checking in at the counter and receiving the key, we were immediately greeted by a strong smell of cigarette smoke that permeated the lobby area. The lingering odor of smoke made it difficult to breathe and created a very unpleasant atmosphere. Additionally, there were noticeable pet pee smells present in the hotel, further adding to the discomfort. The combination of these odors, along with the overall lack of cleanliness, led us to make the decision to seek accommodation elsewhere. Even our children were taken aback by the unpleasant smells and expressed their discomfort. It was clear that the hotel did not meet our standards of cleanliness and comfort, prompting us to forgo our reservation and find a different hotel that could provide a more pleasant stay. Our decision to not stay at the Hampton Hotel was a direct result of the unacceptable conditions we encountered upon arrival.

Nice property. Well maintained and clean. Friendly and efficient staff.

Disappointing! I called the morning of our stay to make sure that the pool was open and that it was heated. I was assured that it was both. It was icy cold! We took our grandkids thinking they would have fun in the pool. What a waste of money! We could have stayed closer to where we were visiting and paid less money for our stay.

Staff was friendly at checkin but not the most knowledgeable. Didn't know anything about the chargers, and didn't explain anything about the internet or where the elevators were. Of course these things don't take too long to figure out on your own, but a proactive checkin is the best. Very clean and new feeling. Friendly staff.

What I didn’t like is the main light in our room did not work. The A/C was noisy so it had to be turned off which made the room very hot for sleeping.

It’s close to the Big Texan, within walking distance. Unfortunately it’s also to close to I40. It was so noisy. If you stay there be sure and ask for a room on the North end. Otherwise, it was very clean and the girls up front were nice considering the battery on the lock on our door was not working and we couldn’t get into our room. They had to move us. Breakfast was just ok.

Handicap bathroom was in need of repair. Wall in shower was cracked and repair was not done well. The shower wand was broken and could not change selection of water flow. Floor got covered in water while showering and was unsafe when walking out of shower

We stayed here twice on our vacation and enjoyed both visits. It's a great location with attractions nearby. The breakfast and coffee are fantastic.

We were on a cross country trip and stayed overnight in Amarillo. This is a brand new hotel. Huge rooms, spotless and everything new. Staff was great. We ate next door at the Big Texan which is unique. Great overnight stop on a long road trip.

We, along with MANY others got our vehicles broken into and robbed!! This hotel seemed very nice, well lit parking lot so we didn't worry at all. Went to truck the next morning to get something out of our yeti cooler in the back of our ATV on our trailer and the yeti was gone. They also flipped up all the seats in our ATV looking for other stuff. We were actually still blessed because many other vehicles actually got their windows busted out!! All front desk would do was apologize and gave us the number to the non emergency police department. Police officer said only managers have access to the cameras...so HEADS up.. the cameras are NOT being monitored during your stay!!!

Bad bathroom sink faucet. at the Corner of the rectangular sink and did not have enough room to put your hands under the water stream. The spout needs to be longer.

The bed and room were clean and spacious. Great location 4 minute walk from Big Texan.

We had a nice stay with our teenage grandchildren. They didn't eat much of the breakfast stuff because they sleep late but my husband and I really enjoyed it. A lot to choose from.

Nice clean property. However, lots of broken items. EV charger has been down for months, plugs weren’t working in room, terrible wifi, Ice machine on our floor broken, breakfast was sub par even for basic hotel standards, poor service.
