Zakopiana

We liked that the location is very close to downtown and the main drag. It was the smallest rental we have ever stayed in. Not worth the price for a shoebox to sleep in. Didn’t even have enough room to get in and out of bed on either side. The owners should have made this room a storage unit rather than a rental. Would not stay again and would not recommend.

Very good

The property is spacious, with comfortable beds and excellent facilities. It is located in a quiet area close to a supermarket and only a short walk to the centre. On first impressions, the property looked clean and resembled the pictures displayed on the Booking.com website. However, the settees and dining chairs were covered in short hairs (from dogs, I assume) and the beds had a few long hairs, making me question if the sheets were clean. My feet were covered in hairs after just a short walk around the property. Holes were easily visible in cushions and the bedding. Not wanting to make a fuss, nor upset my children, I thought it best to just sweep the hairs off the settees and used the mop in the bathroom to quickly do a dry sweep of the floor.

We stayed at Zakopiana and we absolutely loved it. Turning up in the dark with the lights on the tree made it feel like Christmas in the snow.The accomodation was great and clean the hosts were so helpful delivering breakfast at 7:30 each morning but giving us so much it made for lunch aswell. The location was really good 5 minutes from the main strip and five minutes from snowlandia and the ski slope. Would recommend a stay to anyone and we would look to rebook if returning to Zakopane.

Absolutely beautiful, spacious apartment. Very good equipped, clean. Great location not far away from Krupowki.

Beautiful lodge. About a 10 minute walk to the main street. Comfortable beds. Very close to a supermarket. We loved our stay here. I have no complaints at all. The only word of warning I would give is that this place probably isn't suitable for disabled people and would benefit from a rail on the staircase.

We had a lovely time at Zakopiana! It's a very cosy guesthouse, perfect for a group of travellers.

When I review I always try to be fair, compare to what is promised. This place is very hard to fault. Exactly as promised, spacious, wonderfully equipped kitchen and dining area, large, modern bathroom, two comfortable bedrooms. Large terrace, easy parking. Good communication with the owners. Yes, there is noise from above and that was discussed in other reviews. Trying to be fair, the check in time is very late at 5pm, I realise people need to time to prepare room to the standards we all expect... but 5pm is late. Also, because previous guests left late, clearly had a party, we found the remains of party decorations, cigarette ends and a dirty terrace..but, do not let that put your off....its well worth staying here. I believe this to be a one off problem and unfair to downgrade the review because of this.

Lovely bedrooms Nothing

The house is beautiful at all We were at the apartman 1. Over us there was the apartman 2. There is no noise insulation. We heard every steps above us. Every step, every chat. We heard also the neighbours snoring! Super loud. If you are planning to relax or even sleep forget it. Throug the 3 night we cannot sleep. The house was nice and clean but it was super annoying. We think that they are walking in out kitchen but no, it was above us.

Nice and cozy mountain house, authentic, well equiped, places for parking. Very poor sound isolation and uncomfortable single beds in the bedroom.

Exceptional

We arrived late at night, at first we had troubles to find the building, but there was kind receptionist who guided me by phone to find the room and keys. There is plenty private parking space. The house is well situated, we could walk to the city center in few minutes, same for grocery. The room looks new, modern, kitchen is very well equipped. Everything was clean. We probably chose the cheaper room - in the basement. We didn´t expect that. It was quite dark and cold, windows are just on the ground yard, so there is no view. The whole room was quite wet, in the bathroom there is no ventilation, for our stay it was ok, but I'm afraid that mold will appear there later. The TV has bad signal.

We loved the character and the space. Location was excellent (quiet and close to Krupówki). Plenty of free parking space. Living room are was on a dark side and had to use artificial light in the day time. But still lovely.
