Excellent as always

What amenities? Was told at check in that the microwaves & fridges were just removed from all rooms. I have not stayed in any hotel in the past 2-3 years that didn’t have a microwave and/or fridge…..until now! I had some drinks, snacks & dog food that needed to be refrigerated. Had to make do with ice & some of our thermal bags.

My non smoking room had pot smoke roll out when I opened the door. Others staying near me were freely smoking pot in front of their rooms and around the corners. My frig and microwave were supposed to be in my room but were non-existent. Wifi didn't work...I had to do work and wasn't able to. TV only got local channels and only after the maintenance man effed with it for 15 mins. When I checked in the clerk tried to charge me $25 a night more than the Expedia price...I threatened to leave and he relented after we screamed at each other. After being there for 30 minutes and realizing that no wifi was forthcoming I went to the office and asked for a refund.....the clerk told me that because I had laid on the bed (while waiting for the maintenance man to come) he could not give me a refund.....we screamed at each other again and I left to go get a room in a reputable place. I will try to see if my credit card company will get me a refund due to this motel not delivering on what it said they would deliver. Expedia.....you should be ashamed.

Too much light in room. It had rained and half of parking lot was flooded.

Terrible location with loud traffic, shady people and bars. I expected paying $90 rate that it would be a decent location, but no! The room door had abt 3/4” gap and was incredibly loud & the curtains didn’t cover enough so let a lot of BRIGHT light in & through the door gap all night. We couldn’t sleep. My dogs were freaked out over all the loud traffic & Bar music noise as well. I do think the backside was less noisy if that helps. Bare bones kinda room but I expected that. This room shouldn’t have been over $50! Then I would’ve known not to go there. It seemed clean & bed wasn’t bad.. but a miserable experience.

Nice place to stay before going on a cruise . Clean room pool was up and going . Ask for assistance in fixing a door handle to bathroom wa told no maintenance on that evening so I ask for a Phillips screwdriver and fixed it myself and returned the tool. All good and have a fishing trip planned in July and will be staying at the same motel as well for two days.

Nothing The computers were off line in the office and the night clerk locked the door and would only speak thru the windows it was only 8pm. He told us ,3 people needing to check in that it would be at least 30 minutes to get the computers back up so I left and checked in another motel down the road . I deserve a refund.!

I asked for a non-smoking room and what I got was a room that smelled like cigarette. I had to go buy and spray the room to make it smell better but worked temp. I asked to change my room, and they said they couldn't until the next day at 3pm. I was temping to sleep in my car just to avoid the odor. I will avoid this motel at all costs especially if you are a non-smoker.

Rooms were musty and moldy smelling and smell of weed was strong coming from other rooms. No coffee pots , no refrigerator, one chair at table, blankets were cheap and pillows uncomfortable. Pool was foggy looking and chairs are dry rotted. The worst Motel 6 ever.

We arrived quite late with our kids at 1130pm. When we walked into our room there were a bunch of dead bugs on the ground. Our door didnt even close tightly, we stuffed towels on the bottom and side. If we hadn't had a long day driving to get there and the kids weren't so tired we would have complained and wanted to move. We were shocked that expedia would promote this property.

I've stayed here before, but one thing for sure i didnt have to watch the door constantly. The door wasn't secure at all, it wasnt closing properly so it had a gap. So i didnt frel safe and didn't get a goodnight sleep. Also my daughter's room was the same, but hers had a bad smell of cigarettes and cannabisin smoke, her room had that lingering odor throughout our stay.

Horrible property. The only good thing abt this property is gentleman who works at desk in evenings the manger in am is rude. She locked me out of my paid room. I called the 700 and told them I was going to call police. My door didn’t close in my room, I asked to switch rooms she said I had to check out and leave for 4 hours even though I had been there 4 nights already. She is absolute trash another long teen guest told me they haven’t had any good experiences with her and he has been locked out for no reason.

NOTHING EVERYTHING, most disgusting place I have tried to stay, as a matter of fact we left after an hour of checking in.

The room was cold, shower was really good, toilet was kept in nice condition when came in, bed sheets were a bit dirty but we didn’t mind to much they said it was cleaned daily, lighting was amazing

The location is great. Not fully in Houston but still with lots of services around.The room is a basic room. There is desk space and the air condition works. The room can be dark. I'd like a refrigerator. The surrounding area is extremely noisy. The particular room I had this last time had thin walls. I could clearly hear the television next door. The most irritating thing I've encountered is that the room key is reprogrammed in the early morning and if you leave to pack the car you cannot get back into your room. You have to visit the office to get your entry card reprogrammed.

Room was clean but dated. Sink faucet and bath tub needed replacing. Staff was courteous. Great location. Room lacked amenities; microwave/refrigerator. I would book again based on location, cleanliness and courteousness of staff.

Roaches in room , hair everywhere, restroom ceiling vent open & hangin with loose wires , no microwave inside rooms ,weird guy knocks on your door saying housekeeping yelling , and dont accidentally miss your alarm … they will rush you out and give you no time to make sure you have all your things , they will be so rude that even if you did want to pay for being late ,they make you not want to … and they threaten with the police… they cant arrest actual criminals but will threaten people who simply just missed their alarm with the police . Dont go here !!! Worst hotel ive stayed at ever !!

Parking was easy it’s a nice part of town, one of the nicer Motel 6 we stayed at.

Parking was ok. A section of the motel was blocked by the Yellow tape. The room was clean but the AC was not cooling enough. I had to keep it running at 63 to make it comfortable. AC was making loud noise. The wash basin was blocked and draining very slowly. The lights on the corridor are extremely bright and it brings so much light even through the blackening curtains. There was loud music coming from some nearby place till after midnight.

Outside needs freshening up. Inside room was clean and good. House keeping was great. Main off on the outside needs to be spruced up.

You get what you pay for . Fine for a night . Near plenty of things to do and restaurants.

I would not recommend staying here. The floors were very dirty, the bathtub was visibly not cleaned (you couldn't even shower), and the entire property had a strong smell of smoke and feces. There were multiple people lingering around the hotel, and I felt uncomfortable due to the environment—one individual even approached me inappropriately. It seems to function as an extended-stay property with long-term residents and pets. Parking is limited as well. For a small price difference, you’re much better off staying somewhere cleaner and safer.

Downstairs room TV cable was cut, knocking on my door all hours of night, going to front desk and knocking and waiting for 25 minutes for someone to answer and person appearing looking mad because I woke him up. No microwave or fridge.

I do not like anything, my family was very sad the room was very stinking and the blankets were duty with spots that someone urinated,the blankets do not change.I have to cancel the room Now I hope the my money will be refunded because I pay through trivago

The room as clean, there was dust under the bed, but who really moves those? They had long term tenants there, but they were very nice. The place was very quiet at night. I stayed with the whole family for four days, and I’d stay here again. If you need the bare bones basic hotel, with no frills or fluff, this is a good one. Very close to all the things we were doing on that side of town. Easy to get in and out. WiFi was good, kind of slow some times, but that wasn’t a big deal. Has laundry, vending machines, and coffee in the office in the mornings. Staff is friendly. Room wasn’t turned down until we left, which would have been nice on day 2, but that wasn’t a huge deal breaker

Stayed 9 nights (because we had to pay in full), was told every 3 days they would clean the room. Had to call on the 5th day for cleaning. When we got back, they didn’t change the sheets, give us new glasses, or any hand or face towels. The blanket had questionable stuff on it, called office to have sheets and blankets changed out and room cleaned. Still no new hand, face towels. No fridge, coffee in room, no shampoo or hair dryer. The floor was wavy with a soft spot as if you could fall through. The door had a gap in the side and bottom of door, our room smelled of cigarettes, the people next door you could hear their conversations even on the phone. I have stayed at numerous Motel 6, but I will not again.

It’s ok if looking for no frills. I personally do not like sleeping under a scratchy blanket since there were no top sheets on the beds. Could see light coming in all around door because it didn’t shut properly. Very load music playing until late hours. But luckily I carry a fan with me to drowned out noise. It looked to me people actually living there. Will give credit, the whole place looks like it’s being renovated. The room was clean and so was the bedding. Shower was fine’

Housekeeping was very racist towards black people.

The hotel cleaning ladies had no respect, when you told them to hold on to give you a minute they would just open your door and walk in. I had to shut the door on their face one day because I was trying to get dressed and two ladies just walked in after I told them to hold on three different times. The AC units were crappy and then a storm rolled in and the wall fell and they just left it. The washer and dryers were always out of order and when they did work you had to worry about the roof leaking on you.

Our rooms were on seperate floors. We had requested next to each other. The floors were still wet from mopping when we got in them. We were told we could not get extra blankets or pillows. We only got one face cloth in each room. We had six people. We were told they would be delivered to the room. It never happened. bring more but it never happened. We usuly stay in

lost of noise, absolutely nothing inside each room. No microwave, refrigerator. Can't even get a cup of tea in the room. bright lights, lots of noise from the public. Absolutely the worse hotel I have ever been in a long time. Many other problems but I am busy right now.

Peeling paint, old/smoker musty residue smell, toilet holder barely screwed to the wall, leak dripping overhead, no coffee maker available in rooms (must walk outdoors to lobby each morning)…this motel 6 is severely in need of a remodel and overhaul. Other Motel 6’s we’ve stayed at in other states have undergone upgrades. This one is severely lacking. The staff is courteous- this is not a reflection on the staff, only the property.

Biggest complaints was that in my room the phone & Tv did not work. And the wifi was not good and cut out constantly. My rooms door was also off the frame so it caused it to stay ajar and let it air/noise. Also my door key stopped working before my checkout time and I had to get it redone at the desk. The staff were helpful and the room was decently clean.

Stayed here for one night before going on a cruise. The bathroom was dirty behind the door. The whole place smelled like weed from guests all around us. Now I don’t care if people smoke weed but it made the air in our room thick and the AC pulled in the smell. Knowing it’s a motel 6 my expectations were not very high to start. The bed was comfortable and the room was upgraded fairly recently. Over all if you’re here just for a cheap room and to leave the next day then this is the place. Close enough to food for easy delivery and Waffle House next door for breakfast. A gas station across the street as well for quick snack or drinks. My husband said he wouldn’t stay at a motel 6 again but for the price it’s exactly what I expected lol

The hotel was the perfect location to restaurants and NASA. However, the riff raff hanging around the hotel was frightening. Yelling, car alarms going off in the middle of the night due to people trying to break into vehicles. Hotel does not supply shampoo, conditioner, or a hair dryer. Reserved a non-smoking room that reeked of cigarette smoke.

Do not expect your secured reservation to be honored. We had reserved a couple of weeks in advance only to arrive and be told that our accessible reserved room has been sold the day before and they only had a 2nd floor room...we use a wheelchair...thus we had reserved the accessible room. We had to drive and search for availability after our accessible room reservation was not honored. Very disappointed.

Bed was comfortable. Room was clean. A/C & internet access was fine. However, I had a couple of issues. For each of the two nights that I stayed, I requested a wake-up call at 8:30 AM. I did not receive either wake-up call. (And during my 2nd request, I carefully explained to the hotel representative what had happened on my my 1st request - that I had not received any wake-up call. The hotel rep assured me during my 2nd request that he had entered my information correctly & that I would receive a wake-up call. But as it turned out, this did not happen.) - Also, prior to check-out on my last day on 7/27/2025, I returned from breakfast around 10:30 AM. Check-out time was 11:00 AM; however, I could not access my room with my card key. I had to walk to the office in order to activate my card key again so that I could quickly gather my remaining items in my room! This was VERY inconvenient & frustrating!

This Motel6 has went downhill. Convenient location. While sleeping I received a knock on the door for prostitution and drugs. I would not recommend this location. I have previously stayed at this location on and off for over a decade when in town.

Lady at the desk was extremely nice and professional, there is a waffle house (amazing service and quality of food for the record), and gas station next door/across the street respectfully that has everything you will need for short & extended visits. The above coupled with the price makes this a pristine motel for you to stay at.

Purchased a room , it was clean, but not even three hours, the general manager comes to the room with the police saying,she refuses for us to stay after we purchase a room there. Came in for a job & wasn’t making any noise at all. Had jus finished taking my online class so I was quiet the whole time I’m literally in shocked and she also refuse to give me my money back

Ive stayed at motel 6 in galveston. They are great. I am handicap and cant walk to office. They would let me pay my reservation over phone not here but the wonderful lady at expedia got it all start for me she was wonderful. As far as this motel 6 terrible

The only 2 things that could have been better are the AC needed to be turned on a little bit before we got there. It was very muggy in the room and took it several hours to cool down to a comfortable temp. Then the lights outside are very bright, which is great when you are trying to bring your stuff in and it helps you feel safe. However, the curtain did not do nearly enough to keep the light out once we were inside trying to sleep. It was very bright in the room.

Was greeted cordially by receptionist and check in was smooth. Room was not well cleaned and did not have any amenities such soap , conditioner or even hand soap. Area looked sketchy but there was enough lighting to feel safe. Will probably not stay here again.

The staff at the front desk was wonderful. I had a problem with the TV in the first room so they moved me into a room with a working TV. Room was sparse but very clean, bathroom was tiny but again clean. The only negative was the mattress and bedding, they were both worn out and past their expiration dates!

this hotel is very old they don't have the heaters working. it was freezing outside and we booked a room that don't have the heater working. which caused lot of problem for me. so next time when you take a room check if heater is working only then take it otherwise ask for a different room

Disappointed. For a little more l could have gotten free wifi, in room coffee maker, refrigerator, ironing board/iron, and dresser. The ice machine was not working, the tv didn't work for the first two days because the HDMI was unplugged and l couldn't get my hand in the small space behind the tv to plug it back in. It took two days and three requests to get someone with small hands to do it.

The hotel states they have free wifi which they don’t have at all. All around there dumpster is large rats running ramp id very unsanitary
