Casa D'sami B & B

I really liked the location, I wanted to be in Ubud, but not Ubud central. It had everything ya needed for an extended stay. Sami, made me feel very welcomed and helped me get a scooter, told me good places to eat, and helped arrange my itinerary. The room had air con, a desk, and a nice sized cupboard to store ya clothes and bags. The bed was a little on the hard side, but that seems to be normal in SEA. The bathroom was reasonable there was a shower ( with hot water), toilet, sink, and a shower caddy. Sami, also has a fully stocked outdoor kitchen that you are allowed to use. Next to the kitchen, is a small pool with lawn chairs to relax in , after a long day of exploring it’s a nice place to unwind. The complementary breakfast is a great addition, too. If you are looking for a nice place that’s affordable, Casa de Sami is it. I would bring some earplugs if you are a light sleeper and there was a little bit of mold in the bathrooms but it’s a bathrooms.

Samii and kotout are very friendly and helpful that’s my second time for me in bali and in this place and if I return for third i will come to casa d sami again sure

Everything is perfect I can't expect more specially the smell of room it was very very nice Sami the owner help me a.lot he always present to give the the best spot with the beaf price ? I really don't have a lot of word to explain how I was happy there and the quiet the tranquility after a long day thank you Sami ? thank you very much for everything for sure if I come to ubud I will go to Casa D'Sami directly without hesitation

We came late in the night arround 11pm and we found him there to assist us. You can also rent bikes there at a very good price. He is really kind and helpful. His niece is also a wonderful person. I definitely recommend this place and I’ll be staying there if I come again to Ubud.

Cozy, great breakfast, Sami and his daughter were great. I had one of the worst migraines of my life and they were very accommodating and helpful in finding another lodging close by when they ran out of vacancies. Met some of the most enlightened people now friends for life.

Good place to stay! The owner Sami and his family is very accommodating. Ask him what you want/need like restaurants, spa, laundry and etc. he will tell you a good place. The breakfast is great too ?

The owner is great, super friendly and caring. The breakfast was awesome: you can choose between omelette, scrambled egg and delicious pancake ? The location is not the best because you are out of the center of Ubud, but you can rent a scooter and then it's only few minutes away plus there are also small restaurants in the area.

It was a great stay, it's a beautiful place and the host is a wonderful person. The coffee is delicious, especially the banana pancake. The host taught us a lot about local history, it was really cool. We had a week of a lot of rain and it was a little humid. But overall it's an incredible place.

there’re a lot of flies. if you eat outside, you might need to shoo shoo the flies ?

I recently had the pleasure of staying at this wonderful place, and I must say it was an outstanding experience. The primary reason for this exceptional stay was the host, Mr. Sami. He is truly an extraordinary individual, always eager to assist and make the guests feel comfortable. During our stay, we had the opportunity to rent his bike, which allowed us to explore the beautiful surroundings with ease. Mr. Sami was incredibly accommodating; he even permitted us to use the kitchen to prepare some quick meals, which was a delightful surprise. I stayed there for two nights and wished I could have extended my stay. Unfortunately, there were no available rooms. However, Mr. Sami went above and beyond to ensure our continued comfort by helping us find another excellent accommodation just 300 meters away. To top it off, he graciously transported our luggage on his bike without charging us a single paisa. Mr. Sami's kindness, willingness to help, and dedication to providing an exceptional experience truly make him deserving of the highest praise. As this is appraisal time, I wholeheartedly give him a rating of FAR FAR EXCEED. I highly recommend staying at this place for anyone looking for a memorable and hospitable experience just room size, however it is truly a budget and comfort stay.

Sami the owner was so kind, the room was always clean. Breakfast was delicious. He suggested many spots to visit. Really made my stay comfortable as a first time solo traveller. I even extended my stay 2 days! Some Neighbor rooster that can be noisy.

The unfortunate rooster that makes noise all night. Luckily we could move to a different room, where we didn't hear it so much.

Sami was an amazing host and very knowledgeable about places of interest. He gave suggestions on places to visit. We rented scooters there as well and helmets were also provided. Breakfast was simple but tasty and wonderfully served with fruits. Highly recommend this place for a calm and comfortable stay as it's a bit away from Ubud's chaotic traffic.
