Villa Sonia Ubud

Lovely little resort with tranquil atmosphere. Staff exceptionally cordial and helpful, they were helpful to us to move rooms. Would not hesitate to come back, when returning to Bali. The only minor problem is that there are no umbrellas set up at the larger pool, which can get quite hot on a sunny day. There is, however, a smaller pool which is shadier, so really this is a very small concern.

Two pools,one with sun and one with shade. Our spacious King suite was lovely. The staff was very kind. Supper was very reasonable and very good. Freshly prepared and we met the chef. Not too many stores near but plenty of restaurants and ice cream there was even a French bakery.

Everything! This was the best villa for our stay in Bali, staff was so kind, room was prepared with rose petals and a war welcoming. Bed comfortable and great shower! Perfect location, away from Ubud crowd but still nearby to go to restaurants/shops. 10/10

The room we had was very spacious and had a nice decor. When we got in the room we thought we had the wrong room as it had a bottle of wine, "Welcome" written in rose petals and to top it off the bathtub was filled with water and floating on the water covering all the surface was flower petals with the word "Welcome". The restaurant breakfast and supper menu was very good. The staff service was amazing. The location in Ubud as great. Villa Sonia exceeded our expectations. Nothing. It was perfect

The lush vegetation and the beautiful landscape. Our stay was too short.

There was nothing I did not like. There could have been more lights around the property but it was an exceptional stay.

Lots of great amenities including beautiful pool, on-site restaurant, spa, cooking class. Staff was so nice! Walkable to a few local restaurants. Room was wonderful and comfortable!

Stunningly beautiful in perfect location. Great spa (great prices) and great well-air conditioned rooms. Solid breakfast. Pools are beautiful! Bathrooms have no privacy door or curtain.

Villa Sonia is set in a beautiful quieter village of Nyuh Kuning on the south side of the sacred monkey forest. Beautiful pool and lovely breakfast service. Rooms are dated but well looked after and nice and big. Flowers on arrival are lovely and the staff just so friendly. Luh was such a Professional and sorted out our booking without fuss. Would definitely stay here again The shower floods in room 16

We were a family of 5, including 2 children. We had 2 rooms, a suite and a deluxe double. The accommodation was perfect for our needs and were clean and comfy. The children made full use of the verandah and a amall enclosed garden. Staff were friendly and helpful. Thoroughly enjoyed our stay.

I will recommend this hotel until the day I die. The staff were phenomenal. The service was unmatched. I’ve been in the world. The food was stunning. The rooms were immaculate and just giving honeymoon vibes. They really did make us feel so special. It was my birthday when we arrived and the room was covered in petals just so romantic. We actually could not find this enough enough for everything they did. We went to get massages on one of the days and it was the best massage I’ve had of my life and again I would go back for their service. We stayed in one of the villas and we had a pool pretty much to ourselves honestly could not recommend this place in the enough and I cannot wait to have an excuse to come back. Absolutely nothing in this place is 10 out of 10

Really lovely place - we stayed here for 10 days whilst in Ubud. Staff were amazing, the room was great, location was ideal for us. We loved the swimming pools and the floating breakfast was fun! There is also a spa onsite which was great and so reasonable

Villa Sonia was fabulous! We had the Balinese rooms and we loved the spaciousness and the balcony with the beautiful view over the pool. The staff are gorgeous too, every single one of them! Location is superb! I have been to Ubud many times and have decided that this is the best location for getting around, restaurants and the less busy vibe. Value for money is amazing too! We will be back.
