My stay at Swasti Eco Cottages was truly exceptional and one of the highlights of my trip to Bali. The property is incredibly charming, immersed in nature and surrounded by lush greenery, trees, and beautiful gardens. Waking up to the sounds of birds every morning was a special experience. The cottages are warm, cozy, and homey, making it feel much more personal than a typical hotel stay. The food was outstanding—fresh, organic, and genuinely farm-to-table, with ingredients coming straight from the garden. Every meal was delicious and prepared with great care. The staff were professional, attentive, and genuinely friendly throughout my stay. The facilities, including the pool and spa services, were excellent, and the entire property is managed to a very high standard. I was also fortunate to meet the owner, Sandrine, whose kindness and warmth perfectly reflect the spirit of this place. More than just a hotel, Swasti Eco Cottages made my entire Ubud experience. I highly recommend it to anyone looking to reconnect with nature, feel grounded, and experience the authentic energy and atmosphere of Ubud.

We had an absolutely wonderful stay at Swasti Eco Cottages. The property is truly gorgeous — peaceful, lush, and surrounded by beautiful nature everywhere you look. One of the most magical parts of the experience was waking up in the morning and seeing monkeys nearby in the trees, while during the day sheep would wander around the grounds, which gave the whole place such a calm and unique atmosphere. The pool being open 24/7 was amazing and made the stay even more relaxing. It was always clean, quiet, and incredibly pleasant both during the day and at night. We stayed in the Family Room and were honestly surprised by how spacious and beautiful it was. It actually looked even better than the pictures online, which almost never happens. The room was comfortable, very clean, and perfect for relaxing after exploring Ubud. The entire property has a peaceful eco-retreat feeling while still being comfortable and welcoming. The staff were kind and helpful throughout our stay. We would absolutely stay here again and highly recommend it to anyone looking for a relaxing and memorable stay in Bali. Nothing I can think of.

She loved the pool and the friendly sheep and cats around the garden. The place is super beautifully designed, and you feel connected to nature. The staff were super friendly and welcoming from the moment we arrived. Breakfast and dinner were both delicious, and the pool was perfect for a relaxing dip after exploring the Ubud area. Highly recommend for a cozy and eco-friendly stay in Ubud!

Pretty much everything! The rooms, bungalows, gardens, feel of Swasti, its attention to beauty and now its food too is amazing! A stay at Swasti is a real treat! Since we last visited, the restaurant has expanded & the food was the best we have ever had at Swasti & on par with some of the best restaurants in Ubud. A very diverse, creative, stunningly presented menu, totally delicious and nutritious food. Best free breakfasts too. Beaming service: Thank you. I miss the beautiful flower decorations that used to be made by the gardeners and that were strewn around the gardens. Now replaced by neon lit symbols.

The property is a peaceful retreat, we didn't leave at all for the first day as everything is so beautiful. So when we walked up the road to the busier street, we realised how cocooned in tranquil nature we had been, yet so close to Ubud streets. It's situated on a quieter street of Ubud, a short walk to the Monkey Forrest and some delicious local warungs as well as International food choices. There are also hilarious kittens which provide endless entertainment for kids and adults. The cafe looks over the lotus blooming in the pond, with the sound of goats, birds and nature being all around. The yoga shala is a beautiful space to use, with seasoned yogi's teaching. The most important part of Swasti is the kind staff; they make the stay so comfortable, we loved chatting to everyone and learning about Galungan festivities and the cultural dress where everyone looked particularly beautiful all dressed up. The food is beautifully prepared and much is sourced from the organic garden that you can walk around. Everything makes you feel a little bit healthier and less affected by anything you were stressed about before your arrival. Also the massage will likely result in needing to sleep like a log afterwards as all your stress disappears. Nothing really worth mentioning. I loved the tea in the morning, would be nice to have access to the teapot/ kettle throughout the day in the room.

The hotel is undeniably beautiful, its design is serene and calming, with a peaceful atmosphere that really does feel like a little slice of paradise. The pool area is lovely and well looked after, perfect for relaxing or taking a quiet swim. The reception staff were kind and attentive, always ready to help and welcoming in their approach. The rooms are thoughtfully designed and comfortable, with great air conditioning and cozy beds that made resting easy. One detail I also really appreciated was the morning delivery of tea and coffee to the room! I was quite disappointed with the restaurant, which had actually been one of the main reasons I chose this hotel. I had hoped for wholesome, nourishing meals, but in my opinion the food lacked flavor (like the rice porridge) and was overly greasy (like the vegan salmon wrap), it didn’t feel very healthy to me. It also seemed like the meat was simply left out instead of offering creative plant-based alternatives (delicious vegetables/ tempeh/ tofu…). I also didn’t feel very welcome during my visits to the restaurant. Some of the staff seemed quite annoyed and impatient, especially when I needed a moment to decide what to order. I had also in general hoped for a wholesome and warm environment, but the overall vibe felt more commercial than heartfelt. While staff were polite, it often felt transactional, friendly because they had to be, not because of genuine care. There didn’t seem to be that extra touch of generosity or connection I was hoping for. It lacked the loving, community-driven spirit I imagined when booking.

Breakfast was very delicious, a lot of vegan meals. You could also fine one or two types of meat ones. Overall, very satisfying with the food. There are a lot of activities/offers every day. Tip: Sunday you have all you can eat for 100k and 50% on SPA. Need more meat options meal.

It’s was a really pretty and nature driven property. Their own gardens to produce a lot of their wonderfully special food and beverages. This is a vegetarian/vegans dream come true- I am neither - and I loved it. It’s pretty old- but if you like that - you’re good!
