Tegal Sari Accomodation

I don’t like the size of the bed. I think I prefer king size better than queen size. I think I can’t sleep well because concerning about falling from the bed.

We loved everything! The staff was professional, helpful, and attentive. Our room was squeaky clean, and we had everything we needed. The restaurant service and food were great. We booked three day tours and really enjoyed them. Our driver, Sureka, was extremely knowledgeable and a safe driver. The property has beautiful gardens, and it feels like you are not in the city. We will absolutely stay here again if we come back to Bali. We highly recommend Tegal Sari Accommodation!

The room was perfect. (As a backpacker from the US, studying in thailand for a semester) after a few nights of roughing it in various places this was the perfect way to relax and wind down. The property is close to all of the main streets of Ubud, walking distance or a 5 minute grab bike ride away. The property feels very lush with all the greenery, and secret garden pathway feel. The terras attached to the room was so cute. The room was perfectly clean, and kept up with. When checking in, as soon as I arrived I received a free welcome drink and while I was doing that for like 5 minutes, someone went dropped my bag to my room and turned on the Air Conditioning, so that the room was nice and cool when I walked in! The staff was super friendly at the front desk. I highly recommend this place for anyone looking who has similar values to me. It was very quiet where I stayed at the back of the property. I didn't stay long cause I'm solo traveling, but would be a great place to go with a partner, or friend or to solo travel for 1++ nights! Don't scroll past this one! (sorry i didn't have a photo of the room only a video but it exceeded the expectations.

The restaurant serves delicious food at reasonable prices for the area. There are plenty of dining options nearby, yoga classes both at the hotel and close to it, and it’s within walking distance of the Monkey Forest.

We had our laundry done and it was a nominal cost. They did an amazing job with our laundry. Very impressed

I cannot rave about this hotel enough! The location was perfect - right next to the monkey forest, and walking distance to the main streets for shopping and restaurants. The room and grounds were so beautiful! Our room overlooked rice fields in the back of the property. The beds and pillows were comfy, plenty of space in the room, and the WiFi worked just fine on my phone. The highlight though was the staff! They absolutely made our stay! Everyone was so lovey and helpful. Anything we needed they took care of right away. And they also offered a very affordable on-site laundry service. I would highly recommend anyone to book with Tegal Sari!

It is a bit run down in places. The bathroom shower could use a deep clean or renovation and the blinds in my room were very challenging to open and close. Otherwise no complaints at all!

Tegal Sari is well located, the staff is great, there’s an on-site restaurant with room service, laundry, message , two swimming pools, a small gym, and a variety of rooms to choose from. Transportation is also available. The beds are comfortable, plenty of hot water, and good air conditioning and kettle and mini bar. Nothing to complain about.

Exceptional

The restaurant in this hotel served up some of the tastiest food that we found in Ubud.

Friendly staff, nice beds, bath was nice and big, lush green grounds, water refill. The staff assisted us well in shortening our stay. Cleaning was good. Also we were expecting more monkeys, but only saw 2 in 5 days. Main pool was closed for the first days due to maintenance. Also the pools were less attractive than the pictures. That was disappointing. Furthermore we did not like hearing music in the room from the bar next door multiple nights. You can order breakfast in the room, but it was cold 3 out of 5 days and 1 day it was very late due to miscommunication. The couch is not really a couch, but just wooden boxes with pillows on top. It's not comfortable, since the pillows keep sliding off. Also didn't like the notes in the room mentioning fines if we would leave stains or leave smoke smell in the room (we're not smokers by the way) but it's just not classy. This is not a hostel right.

Beautiful, serene, centrally located yet separated from the hustle and bustle. My room was huge and bed was extra comfortable! Staff had excellent communication and on point service! Would 100% recommend and stay here again. Bonus: watching monkeys walk in the mornings from my balcony :) Nothing!

Natural environment and placement in city was perfect I felt very peaceful during my staying there
