Breakfast was great, staff was great, beautiful property

Lovely stay at Plataran Ubud. Was here for nearly 2 weeks after continuing to extend our stay. Beautiful setting and easily the most peaceful hotel that close to the action. As soon as you leave the street you feel like you’re in the countryside. Staff are all super friendly and helpful. Would happily stay here again on our next visit to the area. Didn’t LOVE the breakfast.

We love the vibes of the hotel and the location is so strategic with a lot of nice places around, we can say the hotel is kids friendly since we stayed with our 14 month old baby, they had sheeps outside every morning, some bunnies and fish pond every corner of the hotel which you can feed them too, the view from the kids club is amazing ( ricefields ) they got so much activity, and their food r nice too, we’ve been to enclave bar and my fav there is wild truffle risotto! the view from “the view” restaurant was amazing too! Staffs are super friendly especially dayu from fo and eka nando from enclave, definitely will come back one day! They need to have a young coconut in their menu

We stayed at the hotel for four days and had a perfect experience in every way. This is a very high-end hotel in a perfect location, offering a true sense of freedom and connection to nature—you can really feel and experience the beauty of Bali from the moment you arrive. The service is outstanding, the cleanliness is excellent, and the rooms are flawless—from the bedding to the towels, everything is of very high quality and thoughtfully maintained. The hotel offers many pools and beautiful quiet corners where you can relax and fully enjoy everything the hotel has to offer. In terms of location, the hotel is situated in the heart of Ubud, with all attractions, restaurants, and shops within walking distance. We had a wonderful time, an unforgettable vacation, and we truly hope to return again. Highly recommended! In fact, we didn’t found anything to complain about

Absolutely amazing stay!! The hotel and grounds are beautiful - an oasis in the center of Ubud, just steps from many restaurants and an easy walk to the Monkey Forest - but feels secluded, quiet and serene. The staff are incredibly friendly and helpful, they made our stay very pleasant. Breakfast buffet was abundant and delicious. Highly recommend! We hosted a meeting here as well and the venue is gorgeous, snacks and lunch provided was amazing, and the meeting details were well executed and everything was perfect!

Yoga class is not held at Yoga Barn (which is a must go point ).

I had booked the cheapest room in the joint and was not impressed. When I asked to move, The amazing team at Plataran immediately upgraded me to a fabulous room, no charge no hassle. The staff here goes out of their way to please. The vast majority of the rooms are amazing, and the grounds are lovely. In fact, sunset at Plataran watching the birds and bats come out over the jungle is practically sublime. I will be back some of the older villas are dark and thus musty.

The room has a good size, the hotel area makes you feel like in a country side instead of the central area, and just 5 mins walking from several restaurants, temples, stores, and close to Monkey Forest. The included breakfast and afternoon tea are delicious with options for all tastes. The attention and kindness of the staff makes you feel home. None

I loved the serene ambiance and lush surroundings, with beautifully manicured gardens and stunning views of the rice paddies. The staff were incredibly friendly and attentive, enhancing the stay with their warm hospitality. The central location near Ubud Monkey Forest and Ubud Palace made exploring the cultural heart of Bali convenient, while the tranquil atmosphere felt like an oasis amidst the bustling town.

The breakfast quite nice, the pool and the room are also nice There was a frog that keeps coming into my room but I didn't really mind it.

Friendliness and atmosphere Is in a very busy street but you don’t hear the noice from the resort.

Everything. Nothing much, just asked for snake fruit twice and was told not available by 2 different staff members, but foreign husband asked and got 2 snake fruits immediately.

We had a wonderful stay at this beautifully situated property, surrounded by lush rice paddies, animals and nature . Love the restaurant's panoramic views, especially during breakfast and afternoon tea. Our room was spacious and comfortable. The location was ideal for yoga enthusiasts like ourselves, being adjacent to Yoga Barn and Lumeria studios. Numerous restaurants and shops were also within walking distance. The staff were friendly and responsive, making our stay truly enjoyable! The shower could be improved (non-adjustable handheld shower, malfunctioning rain shower, and water spillage onto the floor). Housekeeping could be improved (dirty cups were not cleaned).

I loved everything about the Plataran. The rooms are really comfortable and super quiet. The food at the Indonesian restaurant is excellent. The staff are very helpful and friendly. I even got a free upgrade when I arrived which was a lovely surprise. A perfect refuge from the hustle and bustle of downtown Ubud but really central and close to everything you might want to see. Highly recommended!!

The staff were wonderful, so friendly and helpful. Our room was comfortable with a lovely view out across the pool, and the balcony was nice to stand out on. The breakfast restaurant had a beautiful outlook, and the breakfasts were lovely. A smallish continental style buffet (with lots of fruit to choose from) and then a choice of mains (both Balinese and European from the menu.) Position of the hotel is super - you feel as if you are in the countryside, and yet you are only a stone's throw from the main areas of Ubud. There is a lane that takes you from the guest bedrooms to the main restaurant which then leads out onto one of the main roads in Ubud. It took us about 30 minutes to walk to the Palace and the main market, although the hotel helped us with taxis, and made everything very easy if we wanted to get anywhere.

Conveniently located. Very beautiful surroundings. Super comfortable bed. Good variety at breakfast. They even had an afternoon tea and sent chocolates to the room every night. Service was impeccable.
