The location In need of some upgrades/maintance and better cleaning

The location is excellent, the garden and the grounds are beautiful The room is as was given the first night didn’t have hot water and I woke up with it ha sore throat the best day (it was a rainy week in Ubud in June and pretty cold at nights). Also, the WIFI wasn’t working in my room at all - only outside of my room. The staff couldn’t do anything about it and suggested I use WIFI outside of my room or in a nearby restaurant which was inconvenient. The staff were nice and trying to help but honestly majority of the time it was challenging to find someone - there is rarely anyone at the reception. Also, I couldn’t pay with my Apple Pay (which I use pretty much everywhere in Bali having spent here over 7 months) which was inconvenient because I had to go get cash specifically so I can pay to the property (although I booked through Booking.com). I think they’re now trying to get a new machine that will support the Apple Pay.

Gorgeous view and adjacent to spectacular vegetarian Elephant Cafe. Drinking water must be purchased off-site; closest is convenience store a few blocks away and across the street. Open transomes in room, so very humid in room despite AC. Lighting in room very dim, no desk. Bathroom a bit strange: 9 foot deep open window-well is the open wall on the toilet side. No hot water in shower. Smelled insecticide, & next morning, room & bathroom full of dead and dying honeybees. ? Quaint. Traditional. But too many negatives for a 3 day stay.

The location

Beautifully landscaped. Staff was lovely. The excellent Elephant Restaurant was right next door. Beautiful pool. Easy to get around. No frills and the price was amazing. I was not use to so many steps.

Room and fridge ciuld have been cleaner.

The location is nice and tucked away from the busy traffic. You are surrounded by nature and it's really peaceful. The rooms are clean and quiet too.

Peaceful location, cozy rooms and delicious cafe right on the doorstop. Na

The location was good. Everything was walkable and it was quiet. The staff were very friendly. The accommodation itself was ok. They have different ones. Some are older and some are renovated. We had an older accommodation. Which was still ok for us but the pillows and mattresses were moldy because of the humidity… they should get new ones.

Disappointing

In nature, friendly staff wasnt as clean or updated, small room but was good for the value of money :)

The gardens, pool area and close by whole food restaurant. I have stayed at this hotel a few times. I have always enjoyed it however, this time it was very damp. It is rainy season in Bali I know but the room was very run down, aircon hardly cool enough to dry out air, sheets damp, moldy areas all over the room. I see they have built a new building that is not finished and I find it a shame that they are not putting money into the hotel that already exists. The whole place is run down these days. The pool is nice and the gardens are a gorgeous sanctuary, it is very peaceful with an eastern sunrise. I hope someone at this hotel reads this and thinks about quality vs quantity. The place needs a good overhaul in all the rooms. Wifi non existent, had to hot spot the whole time.

Full of greanery. Insta worthy. Got some bugs feces when we arrive. And a lot of bug as well. If you dont mind the natural aspect of this. Go ahead. Internet was not available when we stay due to some severed communication. Air cond was not that cold.

It is a brand new place, everything is clean and new and staff is very helpful and nice, location is also good. there are dogs on the street that bark but thats only thing they do, so dont be afraid of them when walking there! no bad things, everything was really good for a really cheap price

The garden was beautiful, well maintained. Close to the center of Ubud, good choice of restaurant and shops around. Pleasant and helping staff. Room wasn't clean, no use of pool after dark as no lights. And garden maintenance interfering with privacy (people passing by terrace or windows all the time), noise from trimming, some canisters left just outside our windows. But the worst is wifi which basically doesn't work in the bungalows. I had to search for places nearby to be able to do an online call.

The garden and view were wonderful. The room had moisture issues. Mold on the bathroom. The bed sheets always felt damp. And the mattress was old and indented. I caught a cold from staying here.
-
Our room was big and in the middle of nature. The hotel propose différents services as taxi (we kept using this service even if we weren’t at the hotel later all around Bali ?)
-
The view is the best part. The wall between two rooms under the same roof is paperthin - so you feel like you're having a holiday with the people next door - unfortunately the couple next door to me was arguing at odd hours and I could hear every word... I'd recommend enforcing the wall with cement. The wifi didn't work the whole time (I was there 5 nights).

The location was beautiful and the staff was incredibly nice! Everything is easily reachable and The Elephant (restaurant) next door was very nice. I would recommend the place (mostly bc of the price), however, in the cabin we stayed in there was some room for improvements. The room was extremely hot when we got in for the first time. There was no water bottle included and also no water machine so we were quite dehydrated. The bathroom of our cabin could definitely use an upgrade. The pictures on booking.com were a little bit of false advertisement if you ask us (mostly the pool and the bathroom)

A resort -like feel but at a hotel price. Very comfortable bed with a mosquito net in our bungalow. Hot kettle and refrigerator worked well but the AC struggled to keep up with the size of the room and the heat during the day. At night, it was fine. Being surrounded by jungle, the critters like to "talk " so you might want to bring ear plugs. The pool was very nice and well kept up. The onsite restaurant had great options. The front desk arranged our white water rafting adventure and a driver to take us to Gilimanuk and the ferry to Ketapang, Java.
