The room by the reception isn t good! It isn t ok for resting because of noises! Also it had a bathroom pipe problem! They were very fast to solve it but the correct is to change room for client, because that could happen again… As I asked, they did!

Nothing is clean everything is dirty they didn't clean the room and the pool and around and even the bedsheets smells not good everything is not clean and looks old

Beautiful grounds with quiet and tropical surroundings and it is a very convenient location in central Ubud. Highly recommend. I loved walking along all the beautiful pathways throughout the resort, especially the hills and steps along the paths, but others with limited mobility might find it difficult.

The reception for this facility is on Jalan Monkey Forest. The “superior room” I booked was in a building on Jalan Bisma, about a 250m scenic, but strenuous, walk from where I expected to be staying.

Beautiful room and hotel/resort. Very large grounds. The included breakfast was nice. Very central location in Ubud. Even though Ubud is busy and crowded, Pertiwi has a lot of green space and paths (even a creek) and feels like you are in nature. The grounds are beautiful and the resort is large. My room was one of the more basic rooms and it was beautiful with a great view of the grounds. Note: the resort is quite large and actually spans between two streets. (There are two entrances, one on each end of the resort). Google maps does not show that the resort touches both streets and often showed a much longer route to the various places around Ubud that I mapped out, but I found that by using the other entrance of the resort the travel time was actually much shorter than indicated on the map.

Scenery. Staff were very pleasant. Easy access to everything in Ubud. Short grab ride from local shops and restaurants Bed was a little hard

Fabulous location. Great breakfast. Beautiful property. Our shower leaked on the bathroom floor but other than that it was a great place to stay.

The location and the views are amazing, BUT we were traumatized by the “ connection with nature”…we had a villa in which were geckos inside, small and big, frog and above bed curtains was spider web (they sent someone to clean it after we asked ). The private pool was awful, we didn’t get in, it looked very dirty or maybe not maintained

Location close to the main road of shops and restaurants Resort area is quite big. Superior room is far away main road or main lobby limited information when you did booking to see where this room located. we have to top up to get deluxe room which is what we were expected when we did the booking breakfast is cold, sousage, egg was cold one of front desk lady was not friendly

A bit old and the floor are slippery. Towel is not smells nice like we we’re expecting.

The basic rooms need some painting and the bathroom some renovation

Could allow clearing bill at both ends of the resort. Needed to walk down all the way to the other end just for that.

They need to simply take a credit card at check in. Poor process in place.

Only the location in Ubud, but unfortunately, it was overshadowed by the terrible condition of the villa and the unsafe experience. The WORST of the WORST hotel experiences my friends and I have ever had – stay FAR away from this place! We booked the Two-Bedroom Villa (414 & 415) at Pertiwi Resort & Spa, Ubud, for 16–19 September 2025. From the start, the pathway from the lobby to the villa was long, slippery, and hazardous. The villa itself was in appalling condition: mold, dirty floors, dirty furniture, damp bedding with an odor, spider webs in the lamps, and even a disturbing clump of human hair in the wash area (with photographic evidence). When we raised our concerns, the hotel offered us downgraded rooms. Even though we had paid for the villa, we were willing to accept them just to make it work. But when we checked, the downgraded rooms were equally unacceptable – smelling of chemicals and mold, with dirty floors marked by footprints. We refused and were told the villa would be cleaned again. We left immediately so the hotel could perform their promised “deep” cleaning. That night, when we returned at 10 PM, we were shocked, as nothing had really changed. The bedding was still dirty, and when I lifted the blanket, I found LIVE BED BUGS crawling on the mattress (video evidence). Even the staff member who helped us with our luggage admitted that we could not stay there. At 11 PM, in the rain, we had no choice but to check out and scramble to find another hotel at midnight. Four of us ended up sharing one bed because there were no vacancies nearby. The entire Ubud trip was ruined. To make matters worse, the hotel has failed to take accountability. They offered only a token “complimentary meal” (after we had already checked out) and vague promises of a refund. Since September 17, there has been no resolution, no concrete action, nothing. On September 22, we reminded them and gave 48 hours to confirm the refund process, but as of now, there has been no communication. This was a nightmarish, traumatizing, unsafe, and disgracefully unprofessional experience.

Price on booking mentioned a big discount, which is not that true. Cleaning of bathroom could be better.
