We have absolutely loved our stay at Royal Kamala. First and foremost, the staff has been amazing — so kind, welcoming, and helpful throughout our entire stay. The room itself is incredibly comfortable, cool, and relaxing, and the balcony has been one of our favorite parts of the experience. At night we’ve watched the bats fly overhead, and during the afternoons we’ve been able to sit and watch monkeys playing in the trees and even visiting the balcony. We’ve also loved watching the squirrels running through the palm trees and a dove building a nest just a few feet away from us. It truly feels like being immersed in nature while still being close to everything. The location is perfect. You can walk to practically any restaurant you could want. Monkey Forest is about a 10-minute walk, the market and palace are around 20 minutes away, Lotus Temple about 25 minutes, and even money exchange is only a few minutes from the hotel. Breakfast has been outstanding every morning — delicious food and more than you could possibly want. What truly stood out was the staff and service. Anytime we needed anything, it was taken care of almost immediately and always with kindness and a smile. The level of attentiveness made the entire stay feel effortless and relaxing. This hotel has been such a beautiful and memorable part of our Bali trip, and we would absolutely stay here again. Nothing

Many monkeys during the day, but they brief you at check-in and help you if you are scared. Also it's in the name so it was not a surprise.

Everything was wonderful. We woke up to monkeys playing outside every morning. So wonderful.

The staff is amazing and so hospitable! They are genuinely great at what they do! They were all so warm and welcoming. I didn’t even expect them to bring a cake to my villa and sing happy birthday which was an added, pleasant surprise!!! Monkeys can be a lot at times but they didn’t bother me much lol.

Comfortable suites walking distance to monkey forest and Ubud palace but set back from the busy street! The staff were very attentive and made u feel welcome. Breakfast was fantastic and the couple’s massage was a great experience at a reasonable price. Great place to stay if you visit Ubud in Bali. Because the property is so close to the monkey forest there are times when monkeys were running around the property and were disturbing during our yoga class.

An awesome hotel. The staff is excellent. They are kind and attentive. The facility is clean, the pool is great, and the spa is wonderful. The food is great, especially the breakfast. The location is great. It was cool seeing the monkeys walking around the property. I liked everything. There was nothing I didn't like. It's great being at a place were everything is great.

The facility was close to everything but still very quiet! There is a step between the bathroom and the entrance that is not clearly marked. We kept stubbing our toe. It hurts!

The level of comfort was exceptional with a special mention being made for the staff. Every single one of them met you with a genuine smile working hard to cater to our every need. To note there is currently building works at the rear of the property which at times was only slightly disruptive.

When you wake up, you can see monkeys around greeting you. The area is exceptionally well-located in the heart of Ubud's busiest street. I didn't have any issue finding dining options, going for a drink and it's next to the monkey forest. m
