D'Legon Villas

Very beautiful space full of plants and trees away from the market hustle and bustle. Best place to relax and unwind. The rooms were super clean and aesthetically designed. The staff was very friendly and the service was top notch, on time. There were some insects but they come as part of the package when you are in Bali.

Able to walk to centre of Ubud but the location was very quiet. The rooms were nice but quite basic. It was a bit dated. Thought I had booked Villa with private pool so was a bit disappointed to not have what was in my booking ‘photo’. I guess I could have double checked or asked.

The property is conveniently located, close to central Ubud but away from the commotion. The villa was very spacious. The pool area is lovely. Needs refurbishing. Air bubbles in the plaster peeling away near the floorboards. Water leaking from the ceiling into the shower area. Large stains on the fitted sheet. Thankfully, the kind owner addressed the latter issues right away.

Almost total privacy. Super friendly staff. Nice breakfast (there are 5 choices and you can order in advance). Super relaxing. Since you're Ina jungle you'll probably be visited by local fauna. Position is a bit away from Ubud city center, you'll need to walk about 1,5km or call a grab/use a motorbike. Traffic across all the island is a nightmare so plan carefully trips to other places.

Our stay at the private jungle villa was absolutely amazing. The staff were so attentive, especially Bayu and Budi who were available to answer any questions and checking we were good! The villa itself was clean, so comfortable and beautifully laid out. We enjoyed our own pool and the multiple decks available. Breakfast was so tasty and good value for quite a bit of food and a great selection to choose from. The location is about 15 mins from downtown but it’s in a great area with lots of local restaurants only a few minutes away with more authentic food and cheaper prices. Don’t hestitate to stay here, it was exceptional! If we come back to Bali, we’ll be here again. The only small downside was that the dinner meal was a bit bland. It might be made less spicy for our European palates but it could so with being a bit more flavourful! Still rating the whole thing exceptional though and it was fun to explore other eateries.

The property was perfectly situated away from the hustle and bustle but at the same time very accesible to the main road.. The room service, house keeping staff were excellent and always ready to assist if need arised... Special thanks to the staff namely Mr. Budi and Mr Hari for making us feel comfortable and always there to help us...the breakfast spread and the taste itself was excellent...tried local breakfast also at the property Will like to come here again the next time in ubud

The staff were excellent, great communication , so friendly and welcoming. They went out of their way to help us. They even went to find us specific food we were after and they delivered it to our door. They have a menu for lunch and dinner, served to the villa. The owner was great, he even drove us wherever we wanted to go. We loved the private pool.

Superb

Very quite and peaceful place. We booked one bedroom villas with private pool and jungle view. The view is perfect, and staffs are friendly and helpful. The breakfast we're amazing as well. The bed sheet was a little bit humid due to the rainy season.

We had the djungle view villa which was extremely nice. Location was super quiet and a 20 minute walk to the city centre, we were not afraid to walk on the street since it was not very busy. Staff is very nice. What we didn’t realise prior to the booking (it is mentioned in the booking details but we didn’t see it) is that people from other villas will come to the djungle view villa for breakfast and to use the pool. In our case, people were respectful, so it was fine, but this will depend on the other hotel guests. Floating breakfast is way too expensive (300k IDR extra charge), we had it at other accommodations for 30-50k extra charge. The transport offered by the hotel is also expensive compared to Grab and other drivers. There was no trash bin and no kitchen equipment in the accommodation. A water dispenser would also be great to avoid plastic waste.
