Comfortable Room. Nice breakfast and pool area. Pleasant staff. Animal Abuse. 2 x Hill Mynah birds kept in tiny cages at the reception (sometimes with no water). These highly intelligent, social birds are protected in Bali. They should be housed in large aviaries. I asked at reception, but said the owner put the birds in the tiny cages. If you comfortable seeing this abuse during your stay, then I guess Cendana is okay.

Lovely property right in the city center, still quiet. Pleasant, very traditional Balinese vibe. Breakfast à la carte. Nothing fancy but good enough. The best is the location and traditional architecture.

The location was good and the rooms were nice and quiet The main swimming pool was green and slimy, it was unsafe for swimming. Very disappointing

The bird in the cage was funny In the room it is not cleaned under the bed,Is not wiped and sanitized the furniture.moldy walls. You can't open the window in the bathroom. At the reception the seat cushions were disgustingly dirty. The water in one of the pools is dirty and smelly(lucky there was one more). Repetitive beakfast(you could only chose from 3 ways) The coffe is full of coffe grounds...is not good(replace it).

It is centrally located. Immaculate gardens and scenic poolside views over a rice field, spacious room that was cleaned daily. The restaurant lacked variety on the menu and atmosphere.

Brilliant location, amazing swimming pool, lovely staff It’s a bit outdated, the restaurant and the bar service is not great, limited drink and food options, and honestly the food was not great

Great garden and pool, nice location and confortable bed Room really run down, toilet always blocked and think as well, couldn’t even brush our teeth. Told the receptionist once but still the same.

I got the room nearly the end of the property, so i have to walk from the front to my room which is all the way along with the rice field, i love it, the room is big and clean, the bed also big, very comfortable and clean, bathroom very large quite old style but clean, 2 swimming pools and the inside one just next to the rice field give the feeling very relaxing, all of staff is very friendly. Water supply : the water abit smelly and very hard, maybe from undergrounds water.

Wow! Go off a busy street and within 2 minutes you are at a hotel overlooking a rice field! It’s unbelievable! I had a bedroom at the far end of the hotel and it was like I was in the jungle. No traffic noise. The location is perfect. The staff are very very friendly. I stayed 3 nights….wish I’d booked for longer.

Amazing value for the money. Our side of the resort was quiet and peaceful. Amazing staff - Wayan and Ayu are standouts. Right on one of the main streets l and an easy walk to everything.

The best thing about this property was the location. right in the middle of town and easy walk to the art markets and shops, this is the most important when travelling, and the price was reasonable. the breakfast was poor. The pool not that good and not enough pool towel left by the pool. It was a very quiet place no atmosphere no real staff around. I barely saw another quest.

Beautiful setting right in the middle of Ubud and walking distance from monkey forest. We had a free upgrade as our room had a leak in the roof from torrential downpour. Staff very helpful and friendly. Nothing
