Honestly it was so phenomenal that it is hard to describe. Everything is beautifully thought out, from the beautiful design of the buildings to the gorgeous handtowels and all with sustainability in mind. And you are in the middle of the jungle, wandering across bamboo bridges and stairs to visit the breakfast restaurant (both restaurants and the bar have excellent food and drinks, lots of vegetarian and healthy options also suitable for kids) down the river next to the amazing natural pools. We had a old javan house upstairs that overlooked the rice fields next to it. The pictures don’t do the place justice. And staff is wonderful (Devi, Meri, Indra, honestly everyone) and great with kids. They really made our stay incredible.

Exquisite in every way. The kind of property that swallows you whole and makes you believe this is your new forever life. Left today and still lost in its beauty. The staff were exceptional. Warm, genuine smiles and went over backwards to help in any way. One young man was leaving work and saw I was without an umbrella caught in the monsoon and literally went back to work walking me with his umbrella to my suite. Restaurant staff was top notch and made every night a wonderful fine dining experience. Breakfast was literally the most exceptional I have ever had after traveling all around the world. An experience that lingers long after you’re gone. You are in the jungle. There are mosquitos and they’re thirsty.

It is very unique and very well located, surrounded by nature and greenery. Staff is exceptionally polite As I stayed in the Sumba house I felt that it’s interesting for a one night stay but uncomfortable to walk on the uneven bamboo and without any real windows easily the insects and rodents could come in

This was my second stay at this hotel, and it was a different experience—one that was truly memorable and natural. The details in the structure of each room are impressive, and you really feel connected to nature; it’s exquisite. I highly recommend it for couples.

Numerous minor problems but added up to be annoying, particularly given the cost - water (sink and shower) sporadically stopped working, lock box malfunctioned, lock on room door broke and needed fixing.

Easily the most incredible place I’ve ever stayed. I asked Chat GPT to find me an eco friendly resort in Bali and this was the first to come up woowoo!! After deeply reading through Bambu Indah’s website, I quickly became fascinated about the concept and integration of living in nature. This place is truly one of a kind- the service, food, rooms, amenities, employees and everything are all reasons why! I stayed in the Starling Room with my husband and it was the perfect amount of space for the two of us. We booked through Booking.com for a little discount too which was helpful. We thoroughly enjoyed the outdoor shower and all the natural pools sprinkled through the resort. There is so much land to explore in this jungle resort! Walk across all the cool bamboo bridges, play in the river, and don’t forget to find the hidden underground tunnels with bathrooms!! Complimentary breakfast was delicious and our fave way to start each day. We booked services/experiences outside of the resort bc they are a bit pricey here. Otherwise, this was the best stay EVER 11/10 Na

This place is pure magic. surrounded by nature, waterfalls and rivers. The property itself is beautiful as is the surrounding area. The rooms are a part of nature... expect visitors! All part of the charm! We loved everything here and only wish we could afford to stay longer nothing at all

An absolutely fabulous creation in the middle of the Ubud jungle! A green heaven, where a unique bamboo design enhances karma and well feeling, creating an unforgettable experience and spirit! It is not well suited for guests who are not mobile as the property has many stairs.

We stayed two nights at Bambu Indah and it was definitely not enough. We would have loved to stay longer. We were struck with the nature from the moment we arrived. The feeling being here is out of this world, the staff is the kindest, they arranged everything for us from manicure to a silver jewelry workshop. The food at the River Warung was delicate, full of flavors, and very tasty. We got to try two different types of houses during our stay. Both were very well furnished and decorated, super clean. We loved the sound of nature around us. It’s a perfect stay that went beyond our expectations, we will come back !
