Everything. From staff to environment. It was, for me, pure perfection. I would go back! I like everything.

Incredibly warm staff. They went out of their way to help me with what I needed. They welcomed me and made me feel at home. Great pool with a great view of the sunset. You can only see a little of the sunset. The room I was in had a better view. Very peaceful. They were very attentive. Got to see a monkey on the balcony. It left as quickly as it came. I stayed there 10 days and could’ve remained there forever. Monkeys making noise on the roof. They do leave though so it’s not all the time. But also it’s cool to me as well.

. the room was clean and had a view

Everything is perfect! ? It is a bit far from the city, but for me, it was fine because I rented a motorcycle; I can also get a Grab.

From rainy forest, to chirpy birds and even monkeys, the property is surrounded by nature with incredible sounds! The place to wind down and connect with nature is indeed here! The staff were super friendly and helpful, and compared to the hustle from the rest of Bali, Angsoka is easily a place thats disconnected enough to wind down. Even a walk down the street to enjoy cooking classes nearby is a breeze! The terrace ceiling had many termites that leave little wood chips everywhere, if you dont mind wiping the floor once in a while its all fine! Our shower unfortunately had no real vent to the outside so moisture just stayed in one place throughout our stay that caused all our laundry to be moist over time.

The pool The staff very nice and professional A bit from city center. Nothing available at walking distance
-
Their bathroom and room have no door and window to separate the two so be prepared.

Small paradise. Calm, peaceful, connected to nature Spacious room with enough amenities. Good price/value. Sufficient breakfast. Very friendly and kind staff. Please take the stairs to the right from pool and enjoy the area even more. There is no door between bed and bathroom-closet area.

Very nice staff. Great view. Clean room. Good breakfast. Location is not too bad, but the traffic can affect the transportation times.

Thank you Cinthia and team for your fantastic hospitality and service! Everyone was so kind and welcoming. Celebrating with your family was the icing on the cake. Whenever we visit Ubud again, we'll be back.

nothing...everything was perfect

I can see why it has such a high rating. The room is clean and has a dehumidifier so it is not humid. The facilities are as expected from the price. However, it is rare to find a place where all the staff are so warm and friendly. I highly recommend it to anyone who is tired from traveling and needs some warm comfort.

This is by far the best place i stayed in, not in ubud, but in my whole trip to Bali. It is a 5 star hotel easily! Their hospitality and cleanliness goes above and beyond. The hotel owner and his family makes their best to make you have the best experience. If i would to recommend something i would recommend taking the deluxe room. It is worth every penny! A piece of heaven

The room itself is spacious and very comfortable with a spectacular view of the beautiful lush river gully below - you get a very relaxing sense of being in the middle of the rainforest considering how close you are to central Ubud. The gardens and the infinity pool and some mysterious paths into the jungle all reinforce this feeling of isolation. The staff overall were very friendly and helpful. More information about the immediate area, specifically dining options, would be really good, especially as the hotel doesn't have an in-house restaurant. We didn't have transport, as having looked at the map we assumed that it would be easy to walk everywhere, but that is definitely not the case. Between the crazy scooter traffic and the semi-feral dogs everywhere, walking more than a couple of hundred metres is not a pleasant prospect. The staff suggested we could just walk into Ubud, but once you've been driven over that bridge there is no way you would attempt it as a pedestrian. They also told us we could just order something delivered on Grab, which is some sort of SE Asian version of Uber Eats. So I downloaded the app and spent half an hour putting in details for multiple credit/debit cards, and suffice it to say the bloody thing doesn't work at all. Then the young lady on reception very kindly let me use the app on her phone and reimburse her with cash (I had assumed it had some issue with Australian credit cards) - we waited an hour for delivery and then she came to the room apologetically to tell us that the app had cancelled the order without explanation. So we had half a banana and a biscuit each for dinner the first night. I'm not terribly taken with Grab. Anyway, it would be ideal if the hotel had written information in the rooms about local restaurants. It turns out there is in fact one great place in walking distance just up the hill, called DPR Art. On Google Maps it confusingly appears as either just a coffee shop or as a place for cooking lessons. It is however also a very good restaurant.
