The Ning Resort Ubud

The staff was amazing. They were very helpful and welcoming. Only downside is that taxi car can’t pick up at the hotel location, but bike is allowed so it is manageable. Everything else was perfect.

It was an enchanting experience! Nothing it was fabulous!

Staff were great I enjoy my stay Issue at checkout. However management resolved the issue.

The Ning Resort was a wonderful stay. The place is even more amazing that the pictures. The room was spacious, staff was super friendly, welcoming and made out stay even more amazing. I would definitely recommend it to others and choose this location again if traveling in Ubud area. The WiFi was inconsistent in the room. At times it would be connected but Internet would not be available. I noticed that it was much better during early morning hours so perhaps it was too many people on the network at other times.

The environment is peaceful. Very nice to relax. Close to nature. The restaurant menu is to my liking. Even when we request other food outside the menu. They cooked them according our request. The staff is very polite, super friendly, extremely helpful. The spa treatment is wonderful. Nothing

The environment and services are best especially for relaxing. Highly recommended for spa. The place is super clean and the staff at the spa is vwry professional. The room service are excellent they will help you beyon and above.

The resort has an exceptional design that blends perfectly with the jungle surroundings. The rooms were spacious, clean, and beautifully decorated. The pool and the view were absolutely stunning, creating a very peaceful and relaxing atmosphere. The staff were warm, attentive, and made the stay feel very personal. Taxis doesn’t go to the hotel, this’s the only bad side.

Beautiful setting amongst the trees and paddy fields. Wonderful caring and attentive staff- could not be faulted. Lovely pool and spa spot. Watch the wildlife ‘swinging’ by! Building work was taking place outside the main apartments, noisy to start the day. Overpriced for Indonesia. Extra bed for our daughter was the same price as an adult staying , and this was squeezed into the room- you had to crawl into bed from the front! Shame the rooms aren’t facing the paddy fields from a view pov? For a 5 star- lacking a few things in room- iron/ mini bar. Big slopes and lots of steps if you are not fighting fit!

This was our 2nd time staying at the Ning, and it was for our Honeymoon :) As always, the Ning was exceptional. Everything was perfect - from the moment the staff greets you, settles you to your room, and makes sure everything is moving smoothly, the Ning does it all, with grace. They even decorated our room with flowers for our Honeymoon, it was too nice of them. Not only did they do that, they ended up giving me a free massage when I tried to pay for it upon check-out. The staff here is what makes the Ning outshine other resorts.

Amazing staff. We had a couple of problems with our room, they handled it perfectly and very very quickly. Really amazing service. The bar and restaurant were also great, definitely recommended.

I had a wonderful stay at this hotel! The room was clean and comfortable, the staff were incredibly friendly, good internet connection, and the overall service exceeded my expectations. The room was spacious, well-designed, and had a beautiful view. The bed was super comfortable The staff were very welcoming and helpful throughout my stay. They went above and beyond to ensure I had everything I needed The breakfast was delicious with a great variety of local and international dishes. The restaurant staff were also very attentive and polite I enjoyed the main pool, Gym and spa facilities very much. It was perfect This hotel is perfectly located for relaxing. The view from the room was absolutely breathtaking rice field and jungle view I would definitely stay here again, Highly recommended

gorgeous decor, especially plunge pool in villa. quite good sound isolation and peacefulness given the craziness of ubud. wifi was decent and hot water etc worked well - not always true of boutique/rural hotels. Live music at dinner was a charming touch. the stone paths, lighting, jungle, it’s all real! it’s all great! the place was underwhelming on many basics/standards. no small washcloths provided (for showering/scrubbing); little refreshment towels provided at check-in (a usually nice resort touch) were visibly stained brown, rather unappealing. Food was overpriced for area (typical), but far below quality of local restaurants; in the provided breakfast, fruit was not fresh, bread was mediocre. barely any hangers in closet to store clothes. no hooks in shower-toilet for towel. Or anywhere actually. You will never have a hung-dry towel. two things bothered me worst: - location is close to ubud and i liked the retreat atmosphere, but you are not allowed to call a Grab due to the site/village location, so expect to pay 2x for a hotel car (and far more BS to book). If you walk out to get a grab, village taxi drivers kind of shame you. It’s a random location fail I had no idea about ahead of time. - in the villa we stayed in, the design is pretty but also awful: toilet is in the shower (!), door to the toilet is clear glass (!!), and the location is visible from villa entrance. So if you’re there on a romantic getaway with a partner, you will have to use audio cues if you want even visual privacy to poop. (Forget auditory privacy, it’s all there…)

The room was big and Nice view to the jungle. BREAKFAST wawww super service. You Can Choose so many and they prepare it freshly for you. You had so many toast options with poached eggs or sweet options. The service is super. The staff is so kind and friendly. We were there for honeymoon and were not so happy from the first room and they immediatly upgraded our room. Also my lovely husband forgot the money in the safe (so we missed our flight to Singapore) but the staff helped us and brought our money and the cards. They were so professional to handle the situation. Maybe the location. The road to the hotel is very narrow and it was not so easy for the drivers to ride. All by all it is ok

The resort exceeded our expectations. The food was great and the portions were enormous; the staff was helpful, the spa was great (with 15 minute complimentary massage), and the cleaning service was exceptional. It's half an hour away from the center of Ubud by car, and it's impossible to get there on foot since there are no sidewalks and the traffic can get wild. But the resort provides free shuttle that goes to and from the city three times a day, which is very convenient. You can also ask for an out-of-schedule ride for an additional charge.

Location is a bit off but good trade-off for the nature and the vibe. The staff shared that it will be hard to catch a Grab due to local policy to protect local taxi business but we did not get any prob when booking Grab taxi, especially during the evening

The stay was amazing! The staff were the highlight—so friendly, attentive, and always willing to help. The resort was peaceful, clean, and surrounded by nature, making it perfect for relaxation. Nothing to be honest maybe it’s a bit secluded which I enjoyed.

Everything! This is the most amazing place! I’m inlove! People are so nice and we feel like king and queen there! Food was the most delicious i’ve ever tried. Place is like a movie decor! Room was clean and beautiful. And people that work there is so kind and helpfull ❤️ Nothing… everything was just perfect!

The only good about this hotel is the staff. They are superrrrr accommodating & friendly. The room layout. What separates the bathroom from the room is only a glass door which made it inconvenient to use, also it's very small and when shower the whole space floods with water.
