Uchisar is not as busy as Göreme. The hotel had a beautiful view of the valley with the balloons. Omar, the manager, did an out standing job to organize trips, transportation etc. We could not have asked for more. Breakfast was delicious and plenty full. We would highly recommend the Takaev Cave Hotel

The staff was friendly and helpful. Omar the manager was so kind and attentive to our every need. The breakfast was a Turkish feast. The location was amazing … sitting on the patio at sunrise to watch the balloons set off was spectacular. We loved the village sites and found there were hidden gems of little restaurants and shops around every corner. We highly recommend and plan on coming back. Thanks to Omar and the staff for a wonderful stay!

This is really a gem of a hotel. It’s located in Uchisar which is away from the more touristy Göreme area. It’s a smaller town and quieter and a bit higher up making for a really peaceful stay with stunning views of the valleys and a short walk to view points for pigeon valley. The town has fewer but really nice restaurants and shops like vinoddocia. The room itself was really nice and spacious mine was attached to a living room with a stunning view and the perfect place to relax and read. The breakfast was delicious and the manager was friendly and made sure the stay was wonderful

The hotel’s location is excellent. The cave room concept was really nice. If you wake up early in the morning, you can watch the hot air balloons flying.

The view from the hotel is enchanting. Our room was an actual cave carved into the mountain! The breakfast was delicious and plentiful. The staff was very helpful and accommodating. The mattress on my wife's and my bed was somewhat stiff and could have been more comfortable (we both said it felt a bit like cardboard), but we still got a nice night's sleep. The cot our daughter slept on was not comfortable, and she didn't sleep well at all the first night - she could feel the metal bars supporting the mattress, We asked for another comforter, which we folded in two and laid on top of the mattress, and her second night was very restful.

Perfect location for exploring and also for viewing balloons. Also a nice atmosphere on the mountain, bustling, but still with less touristy vibe. Because of his inherent limitations of a cave, some parts of room a little awkward. (Such as an unexpected stair at the edge of the room). Also not very much light, but again adds to cave experience.

Amazing rooms & views. You can see hundreds of baloons from your bed in the morning. Aziz is very helpful and always smiling! Great experience!

Great hospitality by the staff, manager and the owner. Just tell him what activity you want to do and Aziz will arrange it for you at a very good price. Inside the cave room at the lower level, it gets a little warm and humid.

Everything was clean, comfortable, and thoughtfully prepared. I highly recommend this place to anyone looking for a pleasant and hassle-free experience. I’d definitely stay here again! Nothing
