Alice in Cappadocia

They make you feel at home. Breakfast is excellent and plenty of food. The bathroom is a little small but meets the requirements for a comfortable and short stay. Some of the lighting needed some repair.

View from the roof terrace was beautiful, overall excellent value for money. We took the cave suite, and it was very large, if a bit old. But everything was clean (with exception of some bits of powdered...stone?? falling from the ceiling - i guess that's a part of living in a cave....). Staff very friendly, breakfast was lovely every morning - full Turkish breakfast with freshly cooked eggs. Coffee and tea readily available at the reception area. Easy walk down into the main part of town with quite a few restaurants and small shops / grocery marts for snacks and essentials. there is parking, but it is just general public roadside parking. So a bit of a luck of the draw as to whether you get a lot near the hotel!

The architecture transport you to the old centuries. Is unbelievable the stone work here. Inside the hotel the distribution is well, and off course the rooftop allow you have to excellent sight.

Rooms are a little dark. I understand the cave concept but they could use better lighting. They are also cold and only one heater in the room was working.

Got the double room with balcony, which had a nice view. The manager is very friendly and helpful on recommendations around. Location is very good, good restaurants and views all around. Parking is on the street but we could find a place close almost all of the times. Bed is comfortable. Terrace is good to see the view and drink something. Breakfast is really good, would be even better if had some fresh juice. Note there is no AC and when the sun is really hot during the day it will take time for the room to cool, one day I had difficult to start sleeping. Lack of towel hangers and enough power outlets. The first day the bathroom smell was bad (sewer) and very annoying but they did something when cleaning up the room the other day and it was solved. Shower is on the edge of being cold if you turn all the hot water on, must be difficult in the winter. Lack of a place to leave the bags open and off the floor.

The bathroom had a strong mildew smell and it Wass snowing and the front room my daughter was sleeping in couldn't get warm.

We had a great stay here! The hospitality from the manager, Mr. Tural, was amazing—he was always ready to help with tour bookings and any questions we had. He had promised to get us the best price for a balloon ride, but unfortunately, they were cancelled due to bad weather. Still, he helped us rent a car and made sure we had all the info we needed to explore the area. The breakfasts were a highlight—warm, freshly made when we were ready to eat, and really delicious. Mr. Tural even personally checked in to make sure we were comfortable, which was such a nice touch. We stayed in one of the cave rooms and loved the experience. The location is also pretty convenient—just a short taxi ride from Göreme, and there are things to see nearby in Uçhisar too. The castle is actually right behind the property, which made for a nice little walk. Overall, a warm and cozy stay with great service!

Great Stay! The hospitality was good, Especially Mr.Tural. Nice breakfast too. We have booked the king suite. There is no balcony or view from room but it's mentioned Landmark view while booking.

My stay at Alice in Cappadocia was nothing short of amazing! The staff were incredibly polite and helpful, always going out of their way to make me feel welcome and assist with anything I needed. The balloon tour and ATV experiences they offered were not only reasonably priced but also of top-notch quality—truly unforgettable adventures! The rooms were spotlessly clean, cozy, and comfortable, while the breakfast was a delightful mix of delicious local flavors that I couldn’t get enough of. And the view? Absolutely breathtaking—pure magic! I’d highly recommend this hotel to anyone visiting Cappadocia.
